Mountain Man's Bride by Lauren Wood (51)

Chapter 13

Rex

Ruby was coming when I heard the knock. I was too kind to stop then so I told whoever it was to come in. I was pretty sure that it was Charlie. He was supposed to be on his way back up and I knew that Ruby wouldn’t mind. She never did mind anything like that. Any time she could show off she would and I could have sworn that she got louder as the door opened, like she wanted whoever it was coming in to hear us.

“Oh my God!”

I knew that voice and I looked up when I heard it. The girl I was just calling Ruby was staring back at me and I didn’t know what to say or what to do. What the hell was Sherry doing here? I was still balls deep in Ruby and I had her bent over the chair, so everything was in full display. I was frozen in place and Ruby was still trying to get that last little bit of pleasure out of me.

Sherry must have been frozen as well because she was staring at me and finally I pulled out my cock. There was steam rising off of it as it glistened in the light. Damn I liked the way she eyed it, but I had to cover myself finally when Ruby said something.

I pulled her skirt down. “That will be all Ruby.”

She smiled at me and tried to kiss me. I gave her my cheek and saw Sherry turn away so that she didn’t have to see it. She apparently had no problem watching me plow into her, but kissing was too much.

I was zipping my pants and tucking my shirt in when I finally asked her what the hell was going on. “What are you doing here? If your brother knew that you were here…” I couldn’t even finish the sentence. He was going to blame this all on me for saying it was no big deal that she came down. I don’t know what I was thinking and now I was going to have Charlie breathing down my neck for it.

“I wanted to see what it was you were hiding. I can’t believe you guys own this place. Do you know what my parents would say if they knew about this?”

“That is why you can never tell them.”

“I won’t. I just wanted to know. Charlie is never this slick.”

She seemed a little amazed and for a second I could forget that not too long ago, she saw me slamming into one of the strippers. But then she mentioned her brother’s name and the situation came together. “We need to get you out of here before your brother gets back. I would like to pretend that you didn’t see any of this. Even though I know you aren’t going to say anything, he is going to freak out if he thinks that you are going to tell on him.”

“I don’t want to go. I want a tour or something. I can’t believe this...”

She was still in shock and the last thing I was going to do was invite her to look around. This was a huge disaster and the more I thought about it, the more I could admit that my friend was right. I never should have suggested we take her to the city and stay with us a couple of nights. It was all turning into a huge mistake.

“No tour. We need to go, seriously.”

She frowned at me but didn’t resist when I helped her out of the office. “Aren’t you going to take a shower or something first? I hope you guys have showers here.”

Sherry made me chuckle and it actually was a good idea. It wouldn’t hurt to have a shower in a place like this. Lord knows that I could have used it a time or two.

“Let’s just go. You have seen enough for one day.”

We were going out the front when I caught sight of Charlie and pulled her into the back to the other entrance.

“How did you get here?”

“Ernest.”

“He brought you here?”

“Don’t be mad at him Rex. I really didn’t leave him much of a choice.”

“Yeah you have that power to get everyone to do what you want. I have always known that about you. Now it is even worse because you look like that.”

“Like what?”

It was dangerous territory and my eyes went to the many parts of her that made a man do her bidding just for the chance of a taste. It wasn’t hard to see what she had going for her, but Sherry still didn’t get it. She didn’t understand what all of the women here seemed to inherently know. Sexuality was power and they used it in spades.

“I am not getting into this with you Sherry. You are already going to get me in trouble with Charlie.”

“Come on, it’s not like you have anything to worry about.”

She giggled as I pulled her through the back door. “Wow, you really are worried, aren’t you? It’s not like we are having sex or something. I mean, I wasn’t the one you were banging in there.”

“Banging?” I groaned at the words. They didn’t sound right coming out of her mouth. She hadn’t been here but a few minutes and I felt like I had already sullied her. Charlie was going to kill me if he seen his sister here. It was somehow going to be my fault. I just knew it.

I didn’t breathe easy until I had her in my car and I called Ernest to tell him to leave. “I got this for now. Take the car back and I will call you later if I need a pickup. Charlie doesn’t have to know about this.”
