Outside, the sun had already set and the night time sky had taken over the city. The stars were hidden away, but the moon still hung in the sky, it shined its light down on the world. Emma stretched as she looked for Liam, and wondered where he had disappeared to.
As she walked up to his desk, she noticed a fresh cup of coffee on it. Underneath was a small note.
I stepped out for a minute. If you wake up while I’m gone, please get ready to go. I hope you don’t mind coming home with me tonight as Emma, not as my personal assistant.
