Melody was curious. “And what brings you here now?”
“A renegade wolf. We are desperately trying to find him.”

“What is his name?” Melody asked.
“He goes by the name of Rufus,” replied Leo.

Leo looked at her. “I will kill him,” he said, simply.
“Kill him!” cried Melody, unable to conceal her shock. “Why?”
“It is a question of honor,” said Leo. “As a human, you wouldn’t understand.”
“I know enough about honor to know that it is not worth killing for!” said Melody hotly.
“Enough! There is no need for you, as a mere human, to concern yourself with the affairs of werewolves.” Tatiana glared at her. “If you know the whereabouts of this fugitive, you would do well to tell us.”

The two shifters glared at each other. “Look, there is no need to argue about this,” said Leo soothingly. “We will deal with in our own way. There is no need for you to get involved,” he told Melody. “You know how interfering and headstrong humans can be – especially the women. Why argue?
