Spring's Destiny by Deausha Kristal (18)

Chapter 18

He lands behind the bar in the back alley and gently sits me down.

“How do I look?” I ask, smiling. He looks down at me grinning.

“Hot, sexy, I want to take you home and make love to you all night long,” he says chuckling.

“OK, here’s what’s going to happen. I’m going to go ahead of you guys and go in, you follow ten minutes later,” I say, looking around. “We need to draw them out, what better way than to use me as bait? Change your looks so that they don’t know who you are.” Sammy comes over and gives me a quick kiss on the lips. Man, I love the taste of him. I’m such a slut. Hearing Nick growl, I look up at him.

don’t like it but will go with it for now,” he says. Taking a deep breath, I head around to the front of the building, stopping to watch as some younger guys go in. Well, it’s now or never. Stepping forward, I head to the door. Opening up, the heat and odors hit me first. Taking a deep breath, I walk in letting the door slam closed behind me. The music is so loud that it shakes the small window to the side of the door. Looking around, I notice Maddox sitting in the lounge area.

Here’s my chance to see what’s going on. Walking down the three steps, I walk across the dance floor, feeling eyes on me I know that a few men are checking me out. Pushing my way through the dancers, I walk over and stand in front of Maddox; his goons go to grab my arm. Calling my energy, I let my tattoo flair to life.

“I don’t think you want to do that!” I say looking at them. I don’t want to start the fight right now, but I will if I have to. Sensing that, they back off. Turning, I look over at the women sitting next to him. She’s looking me up and down.

“Leave,” I say to her. She doesn’t put up a fight and gets up and walks away.

“So, you going to be rude and not ask me to sit, Maddox?” I ask, smiling. Looking down at him, I watch as he looks me up and down. I got to play the part. Shivering, I grin.

“Please, Spring, sit with me. Would you like your favorite wine, my dear?” he drawls. Sitting down, I make sure to sit close so that our legs touch.

“I would love some, you spoil me too much, Maddox.” He raises his hand, and the waitress comes over with a glassful of wine. She also brings a bucket of ice, setting the bottle down. I watch as one of Maddox’s guys hand her a huge tip.

“So, Spring, where are your guardians this evening?” he asks running his hand down my leg.

“I got bored of them; they can be pushy. I gave them the slip,” I murmur. Licking my lips, I look over at him.

“They can be a pain in my ass,” he murmurs. He looks over to his men, a few leave and walks around the bar. Thank God, I had them change their looks.

“So, what have you been doing?” I ask him, taking a sip of my wine, I hate to admit this, but he’s got great taste in wine.

“Nothing of importance really, what about you, Spring?”

Moving closer to him, I say, “I crave more than this wine, Maddox.”

“Would you like to go somewhere a bit more private, they have this back room that is comfortable,” he murmurs running his fingers down my ribs.

“Do your goons have to go? You know it can be a bit intimate, and I don’t like others watching.”

“Come,” he says standing up, reaching his hand out to me. Reaching up with my free hand, I let him pull me up, I trip a little into him, and he catches me. Running his hand down my back, he grabs my ass and squeezes. Giggling, I smack his arm playfully and walk next to him through the crowded room. His men stay where they were. Looking over at the bar, I see my men; I hope they take this opening I gave them and take out his guards. We stop at a door, and he opens it. Walking through, he closes it and locks it behind me.

Not giving me a chance to say anything, he picks me up and sits me on the desk. Spreading my legs apart he stands there between them. Bending down, he kisses me roughly, then takes his tongue and licks my lips until I part them. His tongue plunges into my mouth, sending my head spinning. Grabbing the front of his shirt, I pull him closer.

“I want more, Maddox,” I whisper. He takes his hand and makes a small cut on his neck, bending down so that I can reach it. He grabs the back of my head bringing it to his neck. Taking the tip of my tongue, I run up the line of blood until I’m right over the cut. Sinking my teeth into his neck makes the blood run faster. Hearing him groan, he moves his hands to my hips and pulls me closer so that I can feel his hard-on. He rocks into me; the feeling is outstanding. I can feel his need and desire with every lick of blood. Licking the wound closed I break away from his neck. He runs his hand up to squeeze my breast. Crying out, he starts to unzip my shirt, grabbing his hand I hold it in my own.

“You know that we can’t, Maddox,” I whisper. Looking into his eyes, I know he knows it too.

“Why do you say that, my Queen?” he says, licking my neck, teasing me.

“Because you want me for someone else, Maddox,” I say. He stops his playing and looks at me, pulling my hair back, making my neck hurt.

“He doesn’t have to know about our playing, my Queen. Just once, that’s all I’ll need,” he says. I stop his hand once more.

“Who is this someone?”

His hand runs down to my hip, squeezing, he kisses me, “We call him Luc.” Grabbing the paperweight that’s sitting on the desk behind me, I kiss Maddox one last time. I raise the paperweight over my head; I bring it down hard on the back of his head. He slumps forward, leaning heavily against me. Pushing him off, he lands hard on the floor. Fixing my shirt, I jump off the desk making my way to the door. Unlocking it, I open it up to find Sammy and Andy running down the hall.

“Damn, guys, I had to take matters into my own hands. What took you so long? I almost got jiggy with Maddox,” I say, frowning.

“You’re kidding, right?” Andy says looking at me.

“No, I’m not kidding. After feeding he was horny, and before you ask I was the one sucking not him,” I say grinning. Watching the guys flinch I almost laugh. Making our way down the hall, we walk back into the bar.

“Hey, did you guys take out his men?” I ask, looking around to see if I can find Nick.

“Yep, but we got to move there will be more coming,” Andy says. The guys each grab an elbow and lead me through the bar and out into the cold night air. I don’t see any of our men out here.

“What’s going on, where are the men at?” Sammy looks up for a few seconds, when he looks back at me, he’s got a grim look on his face. My arm starts to glow. Well, that hasn’t happened quite like this before.

“Guys, we got incoming, and I mean a lot,” I say, looking around to find the threat. I can’t pinpoint where it’s coming from. Looking over at the guys they are looking around the same as me.

“We need to get out of here,” I say, panting. Doubling over, I grab at my stomach. Andy runs over and wraps his arms around me. Breathing heavy through the pain, I look up at him.

“Something’s wrong; I hurt bad, something pure evil is coming,” I moan. “And he has a name, finally.”

They both let their wings lose, Andy moves so that he can wrap his arms around me, stepping closer to him I drape my arms around his neck. We take to the sky like a rocket shooting up.

“We have to hurry, it’s coming, and we won’t be able to take it,” I grit out.

“What are you feeling, Spring?” Andy asks.

“I don’t know, my stomach hurts bad, and I have this horrible feeling, but at the same time excited,” I tell him.

He doesn’t say anything for a while. Looking around, I know we are getting close to home. I still feel that evil coming on our heels.

“Nick and the other men know we’re coming in hot. I promise I’ll get you to safety, Spring,” Andy says.

Holding on tighter, he dives in the direction of the driveway. Touching down, he grabs my hand running for the door. There are men all over the place, in the air and on the ground. Making our way into the house, Nick rushes over and grabs me, pulling me close. Maggie comes across with a blanket and hot tea. Moving out of Nick’s arms I walk over and sit down, taking the blanket and tea. Bringing it to my lips, I take a sip.

“OK, guys, tell me what’s going on,” I say, looking around. Everyone looks over at Nick.

“We are on the verge of war, Spring, and we are going to have to fight. You will be in the middle of it; it can’t be helped, it’s what you’re for,” he says.

“I know all of this, what I don’t, know is when,” I say. That pure evil is Luc.”

“We don’t know, it will just happen, so we need to be ready,” Nick says. “I don’t know a Luc.” Feeling better, I get up and head for the stairs, taking them two at a time. I open my bedroom door, and Stayne and Tanner run in behind me jumping on the bed. Stayne is so, big there’s not a lot of room, left on the bed. Tanner finds a place and lies down. Walking over to the bathroom, I start the water, stripping out of my leather clothes. Standing there, I wait for the tub to fill up. When it’s almost full, I flip the switch and start up the waterfalls. I sink down letting the water cover my body into its warm embrace. Closing my eyes, I try and relax. My stomach still hurts a little, and I don’t know why.

Hearing a noise, I look up and see Nick standing there. Smiling, I look into his eyes. He grabs a washcloth and puts body wash on it. He starts on my arms cleaning them, next is my back. It feels superb. Watching him, he sets down the cloth and puts soap into his hands running them up and around my breasts. I start to feel the tingling in my stomach, he runs his hands over my taut nipples, and my breath catches.

“Why does my stomach still hurt. We are safe,” I ask.

“I can fix that for you,” he says huskily. He walks over and starts the shower, taking off his clothes he comes across and picks me up. He walks us into the shower, sitting me on the ledge. He spreads my legs and kneels in front of me. Holding my breath, I know what’s about to happen. He dips his head low between my legs. His tongue is hot as he licks my pussy hard. Arching into his mouth, I grab his hair. He growls and nips me pulling hard on my pussy. Moaning, I pull him up so that I can kiss him. He nibbles my lip, and I feel him enter me in one powerful thrust. Screaming his name, he starts to pump into me. We stumble out of the bathroom and into the bedroom where he lays me down on a pile of blankets in front of the fireplace. He enters me again and makes love to me then slow and sweet.
