The Alien's Touch (A SciFi Alien Warrior Romance) (Warriors of Luxiria Book 4) by Zoey Draven (24)

EPILOGUE

Two lunar cycles later

Rixavox was convinced that there was no better sight in the entire universe than the sight of his lush, aroused female riding his cock.

He was flat on his back, sprawled on the cold facev stone floor of their dwelling, while his female straddled his hips.  The cold season had descended upon Velraxa swiftly and mercilessly, but his luxiva found erotic and addicting ways to keep his blood pumping hot, just as he found ways to keep his human warm and sated in their furs at night.

Tev,” he growled, his palms grasping the flesh of her generous backside and driving her down harder.  Ever since Privanax had confirmed that both the poison and the hellixaxava had been cured by the blood bond, Sessela’s body had replenished the weight she’d lost due to her illness, giving her curves that he couldn’t get enough of.  Brixav ta, luxiva.”

Take me, in Luxirian, but she knew what he said.  Another gift from the Fates, one that neither Vaxa’an nor Lihvan had encountered with their human females during the blood bond…the gift of language.  She understood Luxirian, like there was a language implant in her head, even though her human tongue had trouble speaking it.  She liked to hear him talk in his language, she’d told him once.  So he did it often, especially during their matings.

Sessela was looking down at him, her mesmerizing gray eyes half-lidded, her pink lips parted.  She’d been nude when he walked into their dwelling and waiting for him.  He hadn’t made it past the central hub before she’d pinned him down and stripped him of his coverings and furs, his wanton little human.

Rixavox smirked.  He loved it when she was demanding.  Sometimes, during their play, she wanted to be in control, usually by being on top.  Other times, he was the aggressor, taking her in primal, animalistic positions that his Instinct craved.

She snapped her hips down, moaning softly, steadying herself with her hands on his chest.  She was nearing her orgasm, Rixavox knew.  He was an expert in the subtle signs of his luxivas pleasure, had studied her tells with the intensity and focus he’d often utilized as a war general.  And she was getting very, very close.

So, he purred deep within his chest so that it radiated throughout his entire body.  A choked cry sounded from above him and he held her steady as he pumped his hips up, quickening his pace, as his cock vibrated inside her tight, hot cunt.  Her mouth opened in a silent scream, her abdomen clenching, and then Rixavox was growling, gritting his jaw as he felt her inner walls begin to squeeze around him, signaling her pleasure.

The sounds of their mating filled the dwelling and their flesh slapped together as Rixavox mated her body harder, jerking and pumping his hips, using the power from his thighs to stroke as deep as possible inside her.

She felt too good.  She felt divine, so Rixavox knew from past experience that he wouldn’t be able to control his own orgasm much longer.

And he was right.

A roar built in his chest when he felt his varx draw up tightly against his body and then the force of his seed sizzled down his thick shaft.  His cum burst from his tip, jetting into his female’s warm cunt, marking her, claiming her, reminding her of his need and love and desire for her.

Yes, honey,” she breathed, jerking on his cock, no doubt feeling the seed coating her insides.  Yes.”

The pleasure was unbelievable.  With his Sessela, even though—regrettably— many females had come before her, which they’d discussed at length one span, never had he felt pleasure like what he felt with her.  Once, he’d told Vaxa’an, shortly after the Prime Leader had found his Kat, that he couldn’t imagine his life with just one female.  And now…now he understood why Vaxa’an had been so smug that night, how amusing his comment must’ve seemed to his close friend, who had found his fated mate, a connection more powerful than anything else on their planet.

He didn’t deserve his Sessela, but every span she told him how much she loved him.  And even though he didn’t deserve her, her made sure to show her just how much he loved her in any way he possibly could.

She collapsed onto his chest, panting hard, her heart thundering against him.  Rixavox stroked his hand down the smooth expanse of her back before clutching her backside possessively.

“Mmm,” she mumbled, lifting her head to rest her chin on his chest.  Her eyes caught his gaze and she gave him a wicked smile that made his heart stutter, “Welcome home.”

He huffed out a laugh.  “What a good welcome that was, female.”

“I missed you,” she murmured, pressing a kiss to his chest.

“Kirzalla keeps you busy,” he replied, unable to keep his hands off of his lush little mate.  They hadn’t mated that morning because Kirzalla had needed her earlier than normal.  “Did you feel better this span?”

His female had discovered that she wouldn’t have to give up what she called her nursing degree, after all.  Rixavox knew that Luxiria could never have too many healers, given their reputation as a warrior race, so when he’d brought it up to Kirzalla, the healer had been open to taking Sessela on as her apprentice.  And yes, the older healer liked to complain and moan about how much she had to teach his female, but Rixavox knew that Kirzalla liked the challenge and the company.  And he discovered that his mate was determined to learn everything she possibly could.  She had to relearn an entire race’s biology, the names and causes of their diseases, herbs that helped and herbs that poisoned, and all the tools they used for wounds and surgeries, but her passion for healing still remained.

And he was proud of her.  Supremely proud that he had such an intelligent and dedicated mate.

And that wasn’t all he had to be proud of…

“A little morning sickness earlier,” she said, but the glow on her face told him she didn’t mind it.  “The baby is growing fast though.  Privanax thinks it might only be another two months, considering how quickly Kate went into labor.”

The Fates had given his mate another gift that night in the Rillirax.

About one lunar cycle after their mating ceremony, Sessela had begun to get sick again.  She’d been tired and drained and Rixavox had rushed her to Privanax’s facility in the Golden City, fearing the worst and not wanting to take any chances with his mate’s health.

They’d run a plethora of tests to be certain.  But the end result of every single one?

His mate was pregnant with their first offspring, much to their confusion, but ultimately their joy.  Yet, another gift from the Fates.

Sessela had blessed him with the highest of honors.  Being a sire was something he’d never thought he’d experience, but now that they knew his luxiva could carry offspring, they planned to sire many.  He wanted to fill their dwelling with their young.

“What are you thinking about?” she whispered, eyeing him when he went quiet.

“You,” he answered honestly.  “Our young.  Our future together.  What did I do to deserve you?”

Her gaze softened.  She licked her lips before she admitted, “Sometimes I think about how lucky I am.  I think about all the things that I went through to get here.  Right here.  With you.  And I realize that I would do everything over again if I had to.  Everything.”

Luxirians rarely showed their emotions.  They’d been trained not to during warrior training since emotion usually got a Luxirian killed in battle.  But right then?  Rixavox felt his chest burn with what he felt for her.  And he let her see what she did to him, what she evoked within him.  Their blood bond hummed with life, with love, and everything that they’d promised to each other that night in the Rillirax.

“I am glad that you will never have to experience any of it again, luxiva,” he said, his voice gruff, guttural, like he’d swallowed the black sand that covered most of Luxiria.  I will never let you endure anything like that again.  Because I will be at your side for the rest of our spans together.  And I will do just as I vowed to you.  I will protect you and love you until the span we enter the blackworld together and then I will do it even longer.”

Cecelia hovered over his lips, her gray eyes shining with the light of the fire that warmed their dwelling.  She leaned down and he held the back of her neck steady as he demonstrated his love with his kiss, a particular kiss that they shared many moments of every span.

“Back in the Golden City, the first time that I’d met Kate,” she whispered above him, “she told me that on Luxiria, anything was possible.”

Rixavox purred, brushing a strand of hair from her cheek so he could see her better.  His luxiva smiled, a breathtakingly beautiful smile that stopped his heart for a brief moment.

She told him, “And now I know exactly what she meant.”
