The Bidding War (69th St. Bad Boys Book 2) by Chance Carter (6)

Chapter 6

Clint

I put on my jacket and head out of the office.

“Jeb, I’m calling it a night.”

“Good night, boss.”

I get in the elevator and ride down to the lobby. At this hour, the place is deserted apart from a few security guards. One of them opens the front doors and I see my driver isn’t where he’s supposed to be.

“Where’s my car?” I say to the guard.

It’s their job to call my car when they see me getting out of the elevator.

“Your car, sir?”

“Don’t tell me you’re new.”

“First night on the job.”

I sigh. “Well let me give you a little tip. When you see me get out of that elevator over there, the one marked Executive, press the button on your radio with the picture of the car on it.”

“Oh!” he says, suddenly remembering pretty much the only detail of his job that doesn’t involve sitting on his ass.

“Yeah,” I say.

He’s pressing it now but I shake my head. “Don’t bother. I’ll walk. When my driver gets here you can send him home.”

The guard apologizes while I walk away. It’s a nice night and I don’t mind getting a little air. Wall Street is pretty deserted at this time of night but there are a few clubs and bars I know of. They’re private places, only open to members, and you’re not going to find any of the riffraff you find in other neighborhoods.

As I walk down the street, my mind returns to the big decision of the day. The Child Protection Officer. Did I really give them the green light on that? Was I going to regret it? I’ve got a reputation on The Street, I’ve been known to be pretty underhanded. I’ll do whatever it takes to win a deal, and I’m proud of that. But this is a whole new level. Bringing Brady into the equation. Attacking Wes’s family. And just to distract him from a deal? Every time I think about what we’re doing, I get an uneasy feeling in my stomach.

There’s only one thing to do when I feel this way.

Get balls deep into some girl’s pussy.

I arrive at one of my favorite bars, The Nutcracker, and glance at the bouncer.

“Good evening, Mr. Anderson.”

I nod and pass him. I like the personal touches of bars like this. The way they know your name. Know your favorite drink. Have a spot ready for you just in case you decide you want to show up. God knows I pay enough for the privilege.

I walk down the steps into the gloomy bar and breathe in the aroma of expensive scotch, aged leather, and musk. Behind the bar, an antique mirror reflects the candlelight of the room. There’s a band playing quiet, sad-sounding jazz at the far end. I go up to the bar and hang my jacket on the back of a seat.

“What’ll it be, Clint? Your usual?”

“I don’t know, Barney. You got anything to suggest?”

He nods and goes off to make me some overpriced drink.

I look around the bar. It’s pretty empty. There’s a cute blonde across the bar and I give her the once over. She’s got huge breasts, an expensive red dress that reveals a whole lot of leg, and what looks like a diamond necklace.

I give her a wink and she smiles and looks away.

I sigh. I’m so bored of my life. I really need to change things up soon or I’m going to go crazy.

There’s a bit of commotion by the door and I look over. Two girls are trying to get in. They’ve come all the way down the steps, but the bouncer is giving them a hard time.

“Girls, seriously, this isn’t the type of bar you want to walk into.”

“How do you know what kind of bar we’re looking for?” one of the girls says.

I have a double take when I see her. She’s just a kid, half my age at most, but my cock stiffens in my pants instantly. She’s the sexiest little piece of ass I’ve seen in a very long time. She’s not wearing a fancy dress or expensive jewelry but she doesn’t need to. She’s got real beauty. Her eyes are like two jewels, flashing at the bouncer like she’s daring him to kick her out of the bar.

“Miss, please, I’m just doing my job.”

“Well stop doing it,” she says to him. “You’re a bouncer, we’re a couple of girls. You’re supposed to want girls in your bar, dummy.”

“It’s a private club.”

“Well, it’s going to be a pretty boring club if you’re turning away the likes of us,” she says.

I can’t believe what I’m seeing. This girl doesn’t know the first thing about the world she’s just stepped into, she doesn’t care either. She sure is giving that bouncer a run for his money.

“Miss, I’m going to have to insist you and your friend obey our policies.”

“Policies? Lighten up, we just want a drink.”

I see where this is headed and get up from my seat. What’s this bouncer’s name again? I rack my brain but can’t think of it. I turn to the bartender.

“Barney, can we do something about this?”

“I do apologize, Mr. Anderson. I’ll get Frank to get rid of them right away.”

Frank, that’s it.

“Frank,” I call out, crossing the bar toward him. “What seems to be the problem here?”

“Mr. Anderson, I’m so sorry for the disturbance. We fully appreciate our members come here not to be disturbed like this.”

“Oh, come on, Frankie. Lighten up. Look at these girls. They just want a drink.”

“Oh,” Frank says in surprise, looking from me to the two girls.

The one that caught my eye, the blonde, looks right at me. Her green eyes flash like emeralds and her pert breasts press against the front of her little black sweater like they’re begging for release. I imagine picking her up, carrying her over to the bar, and bending her right over it. I’d like to fuck her so hard she begs me to stop, and then begs me not to stop, as loud as she can scream. One look at her and I know I want her. She’s got to be mine.

“Just let them in and give them everything they want, Frank. I’ll take care of the bill.”

“Certainly, Mr. Anderson,” he says.

I smile at the girl and her friend and then make my way back to my seat. I’ll give the two girls a chance to settle in before turning my attentions to them. It’s obvious they’ve had a few glasses of wine from the way they’re behaving but another drink or two won’t hurt.

“Thank you, sir,” the girl says.

“Our knight in shining armor,” the friend says, and they both start giggling.

I give them a nod and take my seat. My drink’s waiting for me at the bar and I down it in a single gulp, slamming the glass on the polished mahogany of the bar.

“Same again?” Barney says.

I nod.

Without being too obvious, I look over my shoulder at the two girls. God, what I wouldn’t give to take that blonde home tonight. I wouldn’t mind taking them both home to be honest but they don’t look like they’d be up for a ménage. Far too innocent. I turn back to the bar and to my dismay, see that the woman in the red dress is coming my way.

I let out a sigh as she pulls up a seat next to me.

“Looks like you saved the day.”

I smile and nod, trying not to get into a conversation. I know her type all too well. It seems that everywhere I go, there’s women like this ready to spark up a conversation. It goes with the territory when you hang out in private Wall Street clubs.

“Something tells me you’re a man who could get a woman out of all sorts of binds.”

I sigh and turn to her. I’d like to get rid of her but a man’s still got to be a gentleman to a lady. I catch Barney’s eye and indicate for him to bring the woman another drink.

I look her over. The truth is, I’m not above fucking a girl like her. In fact, I spend way too many nights in bed with girls like her. She’s hot, she’s fun, and there would be absolutely no strings attached. Her necklace is real diamonds. It probably cost over a hundred grand. That gives me an idea of the price she’d charge for a night. Not that I care about the price, but the truth is, you get pretty bored of women like that after a while.

“It’s pretty dead down here tonight,” I say, trying to steer the conversation away from where I know she’s trying to take it.

“I can change that for you if you like,” the woman says, sliding her hand from my knee all the way up my pants toward my cock.

I let her finger graze my cock through my pants before turning her down.

“I don’t think so,” I say. “I’ve got a very early morning tomorrow.”
