Allen said and Kirkland looked for a cup or bowl to put the blood in.

 

“Do you not have any bowls or cups?  I need to use the blood to draw out a symbol and drink it for this to work.”

 

Kirkland asked and Lia realized they did not really have cups or bowls in the house.  There was no need for them so why have them?  Still there had to be something they could use.

 

“What about a plate that is used for holding candles?   I have a large plate with a dip in it that is close to being a bowl that may work.”

 

Lia said and Kirkland had her go gather it.  It was better than William wasting more time going through portals since that had to be getting old.

 

Washing off the plate that was indeed bowl shaped as it was flat in the middle and curved up on the sides, Kirkland figured this was better than nothing.  Lia showed Kirkland to her room.  Kirkland arranged the candles she gave him on the floor in a circular pattern and took the bowl having Allen use his sharp teeth to bite into his wrist then he let his blood drain onto the plate until Kirkland said he had enough of it for the ritual.  Then Kirkland had both Lia and Allen leave the room as he needed to focus as with his powers he lit the candles.  Then on the floor with some of the blood he made a symbol by the tallest pillar candle.

 

Kirkland removed his shirt setting it aside and used the blood to make another symbol on his chest.   Reciting the words for the spell to start the ritual Kirkland felt the room seem to shrink in on him and a barrier formed with everything beyond the barrier going pitch black.  Kirkland than sat cross legged touching the blood and making the symbol of an inverted pentagram in the air calling up the powers of darkness to find all the spells in the area.

 

After doing this, the blood on the plate turned black and Kirkland knew it was time for the hard part of this ritual.  He had to drink down pure evil and it would not last for long since the light would be fighting it so he had to be quick about this.  The darkness would consume most of him for about two hours which was why he needed pure silence and to be able to meditate otherwise the spell would go out of control and it would activate every spell in the area rather than just find them.  It was going to hurt pretty damn bad which Kirkland did not look forward to since even as a demon this spell was not fun, but it was important to do the ritual correctly.

 

Kirkland drank down the black blood and did his best not to scream in pain as the blackness started to fill his being with the light fighting it.  The light would win as it always did, but the darkness for now was all consuming.  For now, Kirkland was once again a demon and with this evil he was the evilest of demons in the area, however the barrier would keep him from doing harm to anyone as he searched for the spells.

 

There were several spells going on and some were very old.  Kirkland was looking for a particular spell though not these old glamour spells.  He searched deeper although his first instinct was to go out and rape the first Angel he saw then rip them apart.  Kirkland even when he was this purely evil had enough control to keep from tearing apart Angels however he did feel like raping them and had in the past.

 

He then found the ancient spells on the city.  There were a few that were even older than he was and they were downright deadly to humans if they ever found any of them.  Kirkland knew these ancient spells well and figured while he was searching for this main spell he would remove these few spells just in case even a demon stumbled upon them.  It was best some spells stayed buried even for the sake of demon kind.

 

Kirkland with this spell found himself traveling underground to a cave where there was a female demon in hiding who was older than any full demon currently alive.  This demon should have been dead hundreds of years ago and she was insane.  She had the skull of a vampire cradled in her arms caressing it and talking to it like it was alive.  The demon even kissed it and the skull was ancient also.  She kept saying to it that they would be together soon and the ancient spell that was making newborn vampires was coming from her.  She was hidden in the unfinished basement of the first house.  From what Kirkland could see she was also starving.  Getting to her and ending this spell was not going to be easy.  The spell was doing something to the skull as it glowed.  There was something else there, a trapped spirit was in the room in chains.  There was also a spell on her home, a barrier that was quite powerful, but Kirkland knew he could undo that spell.  It was just being able to get to her without being killed that was going to be the problem.

 

It was obvious the demon was in love with whomever that vampire had been and his death had made her lose her mind.  It was possible the vampire died before she could become a vampire or Angel.  It was very possible a demon killed this vampire and this demon was punishing them, however the spell she had going was a bit more complex than what he had seen before.  If they could kill this demon quickly, that would be the best bet for removing the spell since it was a spell one had to actually chant out to activate and the skull was a key to this spell.  The spell itself made whomever it was aimed at to become whatever the object was that the caster was holding and it mainly worked on humans although with this particular spell it could work on demons.  It was also aimed at three main houses, but the demon casting it was out of her mind so she had little control over the spell.

 

Kirkland spent the next two hours trying to find out how far gone mentally this demon was and see if she had a weakness.  The fact that she had been starving for so long made her a real danger to humans.  She was bone thin, pale, and sallow.  There really wasn’t much left of her.  It would be merciful to end her life.

 

Kirkland was doing his damnedest not to start screaming in agony as the light was consuming all the darkness and it was like being reborn into an Angel again.  It hurt so badly and Kirkland was actually laying on the floor writhing in agony as he found out all he could from the demoness in the hole in the ground under the main house where the newborns were coming from.  Tears were pouring down Kirkland’s cheeks from the sheer agony of this spell.  Even as a demon this spell could hurt, but as an Angel it was horrible.

 

After two hours passed, Leon went to check on Kirkland finding his mate passed out on the floor from the pain.  Leon wiped Kirkland’s face off and picked his mate up like he weighed nothing into his arms after blowing out all the candles.  It had taken a lot for Leon not to go into that room to get Kirkland as he heard him screaming in his mind, but he knew Kirkland well enough to know if he had gone into that room before two hours had been up Kirkland would throw a total fit plus depending on the spell it could have ended badly if he was disturbed.

 

“Is he ok?”

 

Calis asked coming over to check on Kirkland.

 

“He will be.  He just passed out.”

 

Leon said as he went over to the couch to sit holding Kirkland gently in his arms waiting for him to wake so he could tell them the news.  Lia went to clean up the mess noting that the blood in the bowl was jet black now and smelled of pure evil which made Lia want to lick it up, but she would not since she had heard Kirkland’s mind as he had been screaming the whole time during those two hours.  Washing the plate and taking the candles putting them away Lia got a rag to clean off the blood on the floor, then picked up Kirkland’s shirt taking it to the front room to give to Leon.  The symbol that Kirkland made on his chest with the blood had soaked into his skin during the spell so his chest was clean.

 

“So tell me Leon, when did you and Kirkland fall in love?”

 

Allen asked as he sat across from Leon and Kirkland.

 

“Kirkland fell in love with me a few years ago.  I never claimed to love him.  In fact, I hated him, but he was my mate.  I actually had him killed, but Kirkland is not one to take even my shit lying down so he came back to torment me some more.  I have come to care for him now, but I am not sure I love him.  I do love someone though, but it is not him and it is not romantic love.  I love Pierce.  Pierce right now is my child.  I can honestly say though I did not become an Angel because of love.  I was tricked by an Archangel.’

“I was also tortured due to the fact I loved no one.  I am trying to find a way to love Kirkland, but he is such a pain in my ass.  There are certain things I guess I love about him, but we don’t have sex anymore since he is stuck in this infant like body and in some ways, I feel like I am raising my own mate.  He is very childish and selfish on occasion.  Kirkland never did like to share anything and he doesn’t like me going anywhere without him.  I can’t even take Pierce out of the house without Kirkland following us like I am going to disappear on him.’

“He wants to buy me a new pet, but we have a house full of pets.  Sebastian went absolutely insane and bought sixteen cats.  He is a cat hoarder plus Pierce now has a service dog and there are two other dogs in the house not to mention Christian’s birds which he walked around with all day long like he is a pirate.’

“I figure Timber, Pierce’s dog is our pet and I am glad I don’t have to train the dog however Kirkland keeps pushing to get me my own pet.  Kirkland always gave me an animal to take care of even when I did not want one.’

“I can honestly say I don’t want another mate since having a mate is a pain.  I accepted a long time ago I was bound to Kirkland and I guess I could have things much worse.  At least Kirkland loves me which is more than I can say for most demons.”

 

Leon said and Allen was a little shocked at this.  You could be made into an Angel without being in love with someone.  Wasn’t that forbidden?

 

“I thought the side of light let demons and Angels make their own choices.  I thought they said you have free will as a demon Angel.”

 

Allen said since he wanted to fall in love, but not be forced into it.

 

“Mine was extenuating circumstances.  I was an Angel who was forced to become a demon.  It wasn’t a choice for me and after seeing my future as a demon I prefer the light side although they gave me the option of going back to being a demon.  I am not going to be a part of anyone’s harem.  Kirkland gave me more freedom than that and I find him attractive unlike most of Lucifer’s Generals so in some ways I am grateful to both Kirkland and Pierce.  I am happy with my life even if I bitch about it.”

 

Leon stated and Allen smiled since that was not so bad.  Allen had chosen to become a demon.

 

“I don’t blame you from wanting to be free from those harems although I can see why they would want you.  I can also see why General Kirkland fancy’s you so much.  You are beautiful, young, and amusing.  There are no young demons here other than the few who visit and none of them are amusing.  They are annoying and pathetic.  They mainly come to get the demon manuals from us and try to pass off their own versions of a demon manual.  Have you seen the new ones?  They type them with human blood, type them not hand write them!  They are lazy and don’t know how to harvest souls.’

“Their manuals are about sex, sex, and more sex.  There is no real depth or imagination used in them.  I don’t blame General Kirkland for being selfish with his manuals and things.  The new ones are not worth the paper they are written on and the reason I have stuck it out with Lia is that mating the younger demons is asking for hell.  I hate Lia though and found nothing amusing about her.  She is not amusing in the slightest.  She is boring and a real bitch.  She is a typical demon who raves about Lucifer and how great he is.  That is all I have had to hear about for years. It is like she is a lemming.  She can marry Lucifer for all I care and tell him how great he is.  I may be a demon and I may follow Lucifer, but I don’t need to talk about him constantly.  It is like she has no other conversational skills.”

 

Allen said and Lia hit the back of Allen’s head since he was such an ass.  She did not just talk about Lucifer all the time.

 

“Don’t listen to this shit head.  He doesn’t know what he is talking about half the time.”

 

Lia said and Allen ignored her muttering that she was a fucking cunt under his breath.

 

“Leon, why don’t you take the General to my room?  He can lay on my bed until he wakes up.”

 

Lia suggested to Leon since she wanted to talk to him some more plus maybe flirt with him a bit.  The boy was beautiful and sexy.  Lia wanted him pretty badly.

 

“No, I will simply hold him.  It pisses him off when I do this and that cheers me up quite a bit.  I love that I can carry him around like an infant and he can’t do a damn thing about it.  Besides it is best he sees me when he wakes although I do appreciate the offer.  Kirkland will have an anxiety attack if he doesn’t see me first thing when he wakes.”

 

Leon said as Lia pouted a bit since she could not flirt with Leon while he was holding his mate and although Leon said he did not love the General it was apparent he did love him.  Allen noticed this also and thought it was kind of cute.

 

Calis and Sebastian waited on the couch for Kirkland to wake up.  While Zachary showed Allen the pictures he had taken so far on his camera explaining what he was looking for in a photo and which photos he was going to possibly delete.  Allen liked the camera and wanted to see what Zachary was doing tonight for the photo shoot with Bob.  Lia could care less what her husband did since she wanted this divorce as much as he did.  To Lia it would be a blessing to be unmated from the shit head, but life was not always fair and she doubted he would fall in love with anyone so she figured she would see him again in twenty years if not before that point.

 

Writing a check to Allen for half their savings and checking, she called the bank to let them know there would be a large withdrawal from their accounts.  Since Allen wanted the divorce first he could pay for that shit as well.  Allen excused himself from Zachary to look up the phone number for a good divorce lawyer as he wanted it done immediately and he would pay for it as soon as the papers were drawn up.

 

William was also waiting for Kirkland to wake and was bored out of his mind.  He wanted to be out killing demons not working overtime to help them or vampires.  William could care less about their problems, but Calis wanted to help these people as he was always doing things that made no bloody sense.  They did not owe these people anything and from what Sebastian said Jamal was an ass to them first so why help them?  They still did not want vampires coming here even after this spell was removed.  The only reason William was even doing any of this was because humans were being killed that were not on the lists.  Reapers here were in deep shit for letting demons take over like they did and not passing on the lists that these demons were supposed to live by.

 

They could not, as good reapers, allow these demons to have one soul a year or the population in the north would be wiped out.  Lia said most did not eat souls for up to five to ten years so the lists needed to go out for these demons that were for every five years.  Also, for the amount of demons here there needed to be a larger population of humans.  Just because this was the retirement home area for demons who were no longer of use to hell did not mean they could simply keep all these humans poor living like cattle for them.  The demons were going to have to open up more homes for humans and consider allowing demons to group together more in the homes since two demons to the size of home Lia and Allen had was ridiculous.  There were at least five bedrooms in this home not being used that other demons could be using.  It was either that or they needed to buy up more land and expand the residential areas out further.

 

William could see what the demons found so comforting here and why they wanted to live here.  The beaches were beautiful and the homes were nice.  It was quiet without a lot of noise going on and it seemed from what the reapers said that most of the human tourists that came to this particular side of Jamaica were retirees who did not like the noise of the bigger cities.

 

When Kirkland woke up, he found himself sitting on Leon’s lap being held like he was an infant.  Kirkland would complain if it were not for the fact he was so sore still from the spell.

 

“Leon, did you gather my shirt?”

 

Kirkland asked since he was rather cold since this spell sucked a lot of the warmth out of even a demon.  Kirkland was trying to get his teeth to quit chattering since he was freezing.

 

“Lia got it.  Here I will put it on you.”

 

Leon said as he helped his mate into his shirt and rubbed his arms a bit to get him warm and calm him down a bit.

 

“God, it still hurts…….”

 

Kirkland said angrily as he rubbed his chest with his hand since the light was getting rid of all the black and it was terribly painful.

 

Calis was worried for Kirkland as was everyone else.  He did not look good.  Calis wondered if this was the result of what Kirkland said was a simple ritual what the result would be for a complicated one.

 

Kirkland coughed up some of the black blood and Lia rushed to go get a rag for him.  His body was trying to expel the evil and it was making Kirkland ill.

 

“Leon take me to the bathroom.  I have a feeling I am going to expel some things and I don’t want anyone to see me do so.”

 

Kirkland said as Leon carried his mate to the bathroom taking the rag with him as in a few minutes Kirkland was over the toilet throwing up all that blood he drank plus anything he ate for the day.  Leon gently rubbed Kirkland’s back doing what he could to support his mate.  As soon as all the blood was out of his system Kirkland shakily sat up and had Leon help him over to the sink as he rinsed out his mouth and washed off his face.

 

Not letting Kirkland argue with him, Leon carried Kirkland bridal style back to the couch as he held his mate cuddling him to try and help him stay warm since Kirkland was still feeling quite ill.  Everyone waited patiently for what Kirkland had to say as Leon was brought a blanket from Allen to put over Kirkland which did help a bit.

 

“I found out a few things about this area that are rather disturbing.  When I am well, I will help take care of some of them, but the actual problem you are complaining about having here has to do with a very ancient insane demon.  She must have fallen in love with a vampire and either a demon killed him or he died on her somehow.  She did not become an Angel so the spell to do so with a vampire did not take place.’

“The spell is one that one has to chant.  It isn’t a spell that is activated by a place or thing, it is a spell that turns people especially humans into whatever the demon wants them to be.  If this demon female loved a cat, people would be turning into cats, if it were a hairbrush same thing.  Whatever she wants she chants and she has a spirit trapped there.  Most likely the spirit of her dead vampire lover, friend, or whatever he was to her.  She activates the spell by using the skull so she wants vampires, but I am thinking she thinks if she does this spell she can resurrect the dead vampire.’

“She is missing key elements to do an actual resurrection which any demon knows that has half a brain.  She already trapped the spirit but she hasn’t left that hole in the ground to get a body.  I don’t know if she is afraid to come out or is too weak to move much.  She has not fed in a long damn time.  I would say over ten years or more.  She is close to death as it is, but talks to the vampire’s skull like it is alive.’

“The merciful thing to do is put her to death, but since she is older or possibly as old as I am I don’t know the spells she might have that may damn near kill me or any one of us.  She isn’t stupid, but she is completely bonkers.  The best chance we have is getting an Archangel who is immune to most spells into the house she lives under in that cave of sorts to go kill her and set the spirit free by salting, burying, and burning that skull.”

 

Kirkland said as he shivered under the blanket wishing this damnable chill would leave him.  It was frustrating feeling so weak and ill.  This was the last time he would do this ritual and spell even if it was for old friends.

 

“What were the other disturbing things you saw?”

 

Calis asked and William wanted to know as well.

 

“There are seven deadly spells in this city that if activated will cause some serious problems for demons as well as humans.  They too are ancient spells, but ones I know.  I can get rid of them, but it is going to take a few days to do so.’

“We first have to get rid of this main problem with the newborns unless you want to wait for her to die which could be another three to four years since she is indeed going to die.  Just know if you wait, you are looking at more newborn vampires popping up like they have been if not more as she gets closer to death since she will become desperate at some point in which you may end up with the majority of the population becoming vampires since she has no control over the spell.”

 

Kirkland said and William called Raphael to tell him the news.  It would not be hard to get an Archangel out here to kill a demon, all they needed was a location.  The reapers could deal with the vampire spirit and remove it unless it was a reaper Archangel that came to get rid of it.  After speaking with Raphael, Raphael agreed to have Charles come deal with the demon and the spirit.  Charles was fast enough to kill a demon and most demon spells would not work on him.

 

Raphael called Michael to have him send Charles down to deal with this problem.  Michael agreed only to have Charles go if Mark went with him just in case there was trouble.  He was also going to send Luke and Henry with a battalion of Angels just in case the demons acted up for some reason or another.  Michael was already a bit pissed that there was a whole city of ancient demons that Lucifer decided he did not want to deal with.  Lucifer was getting lazy again and it wasn’t funny to have a retirement community on earth for elder demons.  Earth was not Lucifer’s property even if he was allowed to send out demons to do his will.  This was destroying the balance in this area and it was not right.  Humans deserved to have more of this city than Lucifer’s demons.

 

William gave Raphael the directions to where they were at as Charles and Mark were on their way.  Luke and Henry were in training so they would be following behind them with the other Angels.  William let Raphael know he had his reapers still out ready to do battle if Charles and Mark had any problems with these demons.  Raphael was fine with that as long as it was not all the reapers since there had to be a few out doing their jobs.  This war was not for his reapers to be involved in if it could be helped.

 

Christian did not want to inconvenience William, but it was best if he went back to take care of the kids since it was obvious he was not needed here.  Sebastian figured if William was going to do the portal he should go make some tea for Kirkland with some special syrups in it to soothe him as well as make drinks for everyone here.  Also, some people might be getting hungry so perhaps he could make something for everyone like some sandwiches and soup.

 

William agreed to do the portal again since he was getting hungry and this was dragging out quite a bit so he could use something to help keep from feeling ill since being around these demons did not make him feel very good.  Really, William simply wanted to obliterate them all, but that was not his job.  William sent his reapers to talk to the demons in the area to tell them about the lists they were to follow and sent a bunch of reapers to create the lists.  It mattered not to William that these demons might have to travel outside of their community to go gather a soul to eat, what his concern was happened to be balance and this place was not balanced well.

 

Some of the reapers were friends with the demons so they told them the news which cheered many demons up who had waited for longer than simply five years for a soul to eat.  They also were to start trying to combine demons into homes so that other homes would be available to humans since there needed to be balance and there were still too many demons in comparison to humans in the area. Land needed to be built up and homes built for humans to reside in.  Most of the demons had no problem living together in the community and would gladly move into their demon friend’s homes to consolidate space since they wanted more humans here.  There were a few who did not want to live with more demons in their homes, but it was a matter of space and if they had room they needed to make the space for them.

 

William told Lia the rules and that she would also have to make space for more demons to live in her home with her.  She had no issue with this although she would keep Allen’s room empty since she figured he would most likely be back.  Allen though did not plan to come back other than to show Lia he was an Angel now and wanted nothing to do with her.  He wanted to fall in love as soon as possible so Lia could go die like she wanted to.  Then she wouldn’t have to wait for him.

 

Taking Sebastian and Christian back to Underwood, William told the two butlers he would be back for Sebastian as well as a couple of suitcases with clothes for everyone who was staying in Jamaica to help with this issue.  William did not like Calis staying with vampires and demons, but he knew if he said anything there would be a fight over it.

 

Jamal and Jasmine needed to go check on their sons so they left for a while telling Calis they would meet him at the beach around sunset when Bob was going to be taking his second set of photos.  Alex and Bob sat with Calis not sure what to do since they did not want to go wander about with there being demons everywhere, but had hoped to do a bit of sightseeing.

 

“Alex, Bob we will leave as soon as Charles, Mark, and the other Angels get here.  I am sure you are both hungry though so if you need to feed a bit I can feed one of you and I am sure one of the demons would be glad to feed you as well.”

 

Calis said and Zach overheard wanting Alex to feed on him.  He had been fed on before.

 

“Alex can feed on me Calis.  I have done this before and I don’t mind.”

 

Zachary said looking at Alex with love in his eyes.  Zachary really liked Alex and hoped he would have asked to feed on him before.

 

“I’ll gladly feed Bob.  I like being bitten and we did ask you for your help so it is the least we can do.”

 

Allen said since he really liked Bob and thought the man was damn sexy.

 

“Not to be rude Zachary, but Alex will feed from Calis.  I can feed from you or wait until Sebastian comes back.  Sorry Allen, but I prefer not to feed from demons.  Perhaps Jamal, Jasmine, or their sons can feed from you.”

 

Bob said as he did not trust demons or Zach with his Alex.

 

“My blood won’t hurt you and it tastes divine.  You really don’t know what you are missing.”

 

Allen purred to Bob using a spell to charm him.  Allen opened his shirt and used a razor sharp claw to cut into his flesh as the blood flowed and Bob’s eyes changed to the vampiric crystal rainbow mirrors as his fangs came out at the sight of that blood.

 

“Hmmm…………. you are a newborn, aren’t you?  Still quite young to get such a strong reaction.  Now feed on me and taste for yourself what you are missing.”

 

Allen cooed to Bob who could not resist the spell or the blood as he bit into the flesh with Allen moaning as though he was about to have an orgasm.  As the blood-filled Bob’s mouth, his hunger intensified, and he grasped Allen roughly drinking down his blood like it was water.  Allen smirked at Zach who was surprised by Bob’s reaction.

 

“Newborns can rarely resist our blood and we keep producing it so he can feed until he is completely full without killing one of our kind.  Vampires love demon blood and once they have it they can’t resist us for long.’

“Lia, instead of being a bitch why don’t you feed Alex?  You like being bitten as much as I do and they are helping us so it is the least you can do.”

 

Allen said as he pets Bob’s head and kept it there on his neck feeling such bliss.  The pain and the pleasure was amazing.  The only thing better than getting fed on by a vampire to a demon was fucking one of them.

 

“I think I should just feed on Calis.  I don’t want Bob getting mad at me.”

 

Alex said Calis rolled up his sleeve to let Alex feed only for Lia to cut her wrist with a sharp nail placing it in front of the vampire who also could not resist the blood as it smelled so good and thus he immediately latched on.

 

“Alex must be a baby too.  He did not even wait for a moment to latch on.”

 

Lia said as she watched the baby vampire feed from her having Calis scoot over as she used a spell to pull Alex down with her making him lay his head on her lap as she fed him from her wrist and ran her fingers over Alex’s hair.

 

Zachary took a few photos of Alex while he was feeding getting a few close ups of those pretty eyes.  Calis just fixed his sleeve as he waited for Sebastian to get back with lunch and drinks.  Bob finally let go of Allen as his head spun for a moment from getting so much blood and it had a strange after affect although it had been better than any blood other than Alex’s that he had.

 

Allen had Bob sit down in between himself and Zachary as their blood did have a slight dizzying effect on a vampire.  It wasn’t bad, but it usually gave a demon the chance to either kill the vampire or walk away unless of course the demon planned on fucking them.  Some demons even fell in love with the vampires becoming one themselves.

 

“It takes a little getting used to Bob, but the after effects won’t last long.”

 

Allen said and Bob then saw Alex feeding on Lia with Lia stroking Alex’s hair with Alex laying his head on her lap.  Bob went to stop that nonsense only for Lia to smile at him.

 

“Alex is under a spell Bob. I am not going to steal him from you.  He is much too sweet for me.  I am only feeding him.  I do have to admit though for a vampire he is strikingly beautiful.  Such nice skin, pretty eyes, the face of an Angel, and soft as silk hair.  Not a bad body either from what I can tell, but not my type.  I like men who are more dominant and a bit sadistic.  Your Alex is definitely a submissive and a mere baby compared to me.  What was he, eighteen when you changed him?”

 

Lia asked as she played with that hair a bit while Alex fed.

 

“No, he was fifty-five.”

 

Bob said calming down a bit although he did not like how the demon petted his beloved.

 

“No way!  That is impossible!  He doesn’t look old enough to be that age!  I have seen vampires turn at elder ages and the youngest look to be thirty!  He doesn’t look old enough to have been that old!”

 

Lia stated and Allen agreed with Lia on that much.  Alex couldn’t have been that old.

 

“He was that old.  Look at the photo in his wallet of him and his late wife.  The photo was taken the same year she died.”

 

Bob said and Allen dug into Alex’s pocket to look at the photograph in shock.  Alex did look more distinguished in the photo, wrinkles around his eyes and a bit under them.  In the photo, he looked to be in his mid-forties.  Lia looked at the photo as well not hardly believing it.  It was Alex, but he was much older looking and his wife was a big lady although very pretty.

 

“Let me see that photo.”

 

Zach said and he looked at it smiling a bit as Alex was still quite a handsome man at that age.  At fifty-five he probably looked quite distinguished and Zach knew he would still have been interested in Alex even at that age.

 

“He was handsome even then, however his wife looks like she could squash him flat even though she is very pretty.”

 

Zach stated and Bob chuckled at that as he held Alex’s wallet for him while Alex continued to feed.

 

“Alex likes big women, the bigger they are the more he loves them.  However, I am not interested in sharing him with anyone.  I am going to marry him and settle down with him.  We already have two kids plus Kirkland and Leon.  When Kirkland grows to be eighteen years old we are moving back to France with him since that is our home.  Alex has two properties in France which he won’t sell, so although we will be living with Kirkland and Leon, we will probably take time away from them to go live in Alex’s homes for a bit.”

 

Bob said and Kirkland looked at over at Bob in frustration.

 

“When I am sixteen we are moving there, not eighteen Bob.”

 

Kirkland said and Leon this time said something.

 

“No Kirkland you are waiting until you are legally an adult.  I might have sex with you when you turn sixteen in body, but we are not moving until you are eighteen looking.  I will refuse to go with you if you do not wait so don’t even start arguing with me about that and that is only if you actually grow.  It all depends on you becoming an adult.”

 

Leon said since Kirkland would be stuck staying with Calis’s family with him until he was actually grown up.

 

“I am going to grow so don’t worry about that Leon.  I am not going to stay in this infantile body forever.”

 

Kirkland cuddled further into the blankets and wished his mate would at least let him sit like an adult.  Kirkland knew Leon loved that he could boss him around a bit and pick him up to carry him everywhere, but that would change when he got older.

 

“At least you can grow.  I am stuck as a thirteen-year-old boy for the rest of my existence thank you very much so I would prefer it if people would shut up about the fact they can grow since some of us are not so damn lucky.”

 

Calis said angrily as he was sick of hearing Kirkland complain about his body being infantile when Kirkland at age ten is taller than he is.

 

“Calis, no one thinks less of you because of your size.  You have ten times more respect from me than Kirkland does so please don’t feel bad about something that is beyond your control.”

 

Leon said and Kirkland sighed since it was true.

 

“Calis anyone who knows you, really knows you doesn’t think of you as any different than the rest of us.  However, you do have much more class than any of us.  At least you believe in doing introductions which is much better than most people do expecting you to read their minds to know who they are.’

“You run the household, you are the leader in most things and people follow you.  You are a true Earl and royalty so you need not worry what others think.  That is for the lower class anyway.’

“I have had Masters who are Kings, Queens, Princes, and Princesses.  I have known Duchesses and Dukes who all do not have even the slightest bit of class compared to you.  They are mere worms.’

“The only thing I can think of that I feel the slightest bit of jealousy of when it comes to you is you were not my soul to harvest.  Sebastian has not one clue of how damn lucky he is to even know you and have the privilege of being your husband.  If you were mine I would not have shared you with anyone, I would not let anyone touch you, and I most certainly would never cheat on you.  You have a very unique soul and it calls to all demons even now that they cannot eat it.  You torment all of us with its pure flavor even as demon Angels we can taste parts of it.’

“If I did not love Leon, I would have fought your Sebastian for your soul just as any demon would.  You have no idea the treasure you are just as you are.  You are protected by powerful sources and truly you are the most powerful boy in the world.  In many ways, I envy you.”

 

Kirkland stated and Calis did feel a bit better although he still would not change things as far as he and Sebastian were concerned.  Sebastian was who he was and Calis loved him.  He felt rather powerless when Sebastian wasn’t around so he did not care for being here without him.

 

“I was wondering whose soul it was that had been teasing me a bit.  It is a rather large soul, isn’t it?”

 

Allen said and Lia rolled her eyes.

 

“You are an idiot Allen.  I knew Calis’s soul the minute he walked up to us to do the introductions.  Nobody else around him is that innocent smelling.  Heaven knows none of us are that innocent.  Also, it spiked when he showed no fear of us.  Most of our Masters were cowards or pigs.  You don’t find a pure soul like Calis’s in the places we have been.”

 

Lia said and Allen just ignored his stupid wife.  The bitch always had to show off and make him look like a moron.

 

Alex finally unlatched from Lia’s wrist and licked away the bit of blood before trying to sit up.  He felt very dizzy so he laid back down trying to get his bearings.  Looking over at Bob, Alex felt bad since he knew he was supposed to feed off of Calis.

 

“I am sorry Bob, I meant to feed off of Calis but I could not resist the blood.”

 

Alex said apologetically wishing his head would clear.  He hoped Bob would not be too mad at him.

 

“It is fine Alex, just rest although I will trade Lia places since I have had enough of people touching you.”

 

Bob said as he got up and Lia moved over not wanting to trade places since she was not going to sit by Allen.  Bob gently put Alex’s head on his lap and held his beloved’s hand on his chest as he ran his fingers though Alex’s hair.

 

Zachary figured Bob would probably eventually drive Alex away with his possessive behavior, but what he did not know was Alex loved Bob being possessive over him.  He wanted his future husband to be the only one to touch him other than family and feeding.  Even when feeding, Alex did not usually liked to be touched by others much.

 

Bob hoped the Angels would hurry up and get here since he wanted to walk around with his beloved before they had to go back to the shoot.   Part of the perks of traveling for a photo shoot was hopefully to see more of the city now that more stores were open.

 

While Bob and Alex were rather anxious to get going to see more of this city, Sebastian was packing clothing and getting things together food wise as well.  Using Tupperware bowls with lids he created soup putting it into these containers for everyone to eat out of getting plastic soup spoons to eat with.  Then he made a whole platter of sizzling steak sandwiches with melted cheese on each one with Christian’s special mayonnaise sauce.

 

Putting everyone’s drinks in bottles except for the tea everything was almost ready to go.  The tea was put in a plastic thermos which would soothe Kirkland and Calis would enjoy it because it was his favorite, Luna Drop tea, as Sebastian gathered two Styrofoam cups for the tea.

 

William soon came back for Sebastian and brought a couple reapers to help with carrying things.  Sebastian had just finished cleaning up the kitchen at this point and Christian was helping Pierce with his homework while having the boy eat in his room with Sidney sitting at the table eating with the rest of the family that was home.  Christian also had made drinks for the vampires as everyone at home was eating and drinking.

 

Sean and Shiro were at work as was Kingsly so the toddlers were at daycare.  Davon was at school as was Jerry.  Sven was helping with Sidney and Pierce since Kirkland and Leon were going to be gone for a few days.  Timber was lying next to Pierce while Pierce worked on his school work and ate his lunch.

 

Going through the portal with food, drinks, and luggage for everyone, the reapers waited for further instruction from William who merely told them to go back to watching over these demons to insure they did not attack them since William still did not trust the demons.  William was even unsure about trusting Kirkland considering he was once an ancient demon, but he had little choice right now except to hope Kirkland was not hiding anything from them.

 

Kirkland gratefully took a cup of the tea Sebastian poured for him and Calis.  It was nice and hot which Kirkland appreciated with him still being a bit chilled.  Tasting the Luna Drop tea, Kirkland moaned in pleasure as it not only soothed him, but the Luna Drop tea warmed the demon part of himself.  Calis too was enjoying the tea as Sebastian passed nice hot sandwiches around on paper plates to those who would eat and passed them each a Tupperware bowl of soup with lid on them so they did not spill if they wanted to eat their sandwiches first which Calis did.   Sebastian also gave everyone who was eating a plastic soup spoon.  Setting the tray of sandwiches on the table for those who wanted more since he made several knowing how hungry everyone was plus the sandwiches were small on mini toasted ciabatta bread.

 

Alex and Bob were grateful for the drinks as they sipped them out of the bottles Sebastian had brought making Alex’s extra special.  Sebastian made a chocolate milk for Alex to drink with Paris Company’s melted chocolate.  Bob was drinking a citrus juice mix while Alex was getting his chocolate fix for the day.

 

Calis ate three sandwiches and all of his soup.  He wanted more tea, but Sebastian only brought a thermos full of the tea and not any more with Kirkland drinking more of it than Calis had.  Kirkland however had needed the hot food and hot drinks since he was still a bit cold although it was getting better.

 

Leon ate with Kirkland on his lap not allowing Kirkland to sit on his own until he was well again.  Kirk liked the extra attention his mate gave him, but he was not a child and to baby him like he was irritated Kirkland a bit.

 

Zachary couldn’t get over how good the food was and found himself truly enjoying lunch.  They had called Joe to let him know they were going to be a while longer and that they would be meeting up with him as soon as they were done.  Joe told them to take their time since he was relaxing enjoying the beach as he sat by the hummer on the beach reading a book.

 

Soon Charles arrived with Mark knocking on the door of the house.  Lia was going to answer it, but William said he would answer since if it were the Archangels they would possibly attack her.  They had enough problems with demons without going into a full blown war over one demon being killed for just answering the door.

 

When William got to the door, there were three demons there rather than the Archangels coming to see Lia and Allen.  The demons wanted to talk to their community leaders about the changes in the city and find out about the rules with moving in with their neighbors.

 

Lia invited the three in and spoke with them briefly about the new changes with the three asking about living with her rather than their neighbors since they too were looking to die soon not wanting to live with the slightly younger demons in their location.  Lia agreed to this as she had room and these were good friends of hers.  Allen ignored all of this as he was interested in leaving as soon as possible.  He wanted to get out of this community and away from his stupid wife as well as her stupid friends.

 

The demons thanked Lia and left to go start packing their home as the sooner they could get this business done with the sooner they could possibly get more humans into the area to feed on.  Lia was glad not to have to live alone and was glad Allen was leaving, but she knew for a fact he would be back.  Allen always came back.

 

After about an hour passed, Charles and Mark finally showed up with Luke and Henry along with a battalion of Angels following them.  The Archangels’ first instinct was to eradicate all these demons, but that was not their job at this time.  Luke and Charles knocked on the door of the house that they had been told to meet everyone.  William answered the door and allowed the Archangels to come in.

 

Kirkland was doing better at this point and figured it was time to get to work getting rid of this demon causing such chaos.  He was still cold, but not as bad as before and it was now just a minor inconvenience.   Meeting up with the Archangels he told them the problem and the plan he had come up with to kill this demon.  Kirkland could undo the barriers, but he could not come close to the demon lest he be killed or turned into a vampire.

 

Leon did not want Kirkland going with the Archangels to face this demon as he did not want his mate coming back as a vampire or dying then coming back to find him as a toddler.  Charles promised to protect Kirkland, but a spell only had to be spoken once for the caster to do irreparable damage to the person they were casting it on and for the spell this demon was casting it was affecting anyone in the area of the spell.

 

All four Archangels followed Kirkland out as they headed towards the house he had seen in his visions.  The others followed, but were to stay back when it came to the battle itself.  Kirkland went to the house, unlocked the door with his powers and then showed the Archangels where he had seen the demon which was directly below them.  Unfortunately, there was concrete in the way and thick wood flooring not to mention pipes and other things connected to the bottom of the house.  Of course, the Archangels had no problems as far as tearing up the floor to get to this demon since they could easily punch through the floor it was hoping the demon did not cast a spell while they were breaking through with Kirkland there.

 

“We could create a bomb to break through here and blow up this part of the house to get to her, but that would take more time.  With the right ingredients from a local store I can create a bomb big enough to blow up this space.  It might give us enough time for me to undo the barrier and for you to attack.  It is too bad we don’t have any C4 or I could really make this work.”

 

Kirkland said since he had made bombs before in the past and it did not take much to make one to blow up the living room of this house.  It would be easier if there was an ammunition store around to do this, but Kirkland could do this with a few simple items one could buy at a local store and a spell.

 

Leaving the house, Kirkland asked Sebastian if he would mind helping him build a bomb to blow up mainly the living room floor and the concrete below it.  If it blew up the whole house so be it, but they needed to get to under the house directly where the demon was for this to work.  Sebastian figured this could be fun since it had been a while since he created a bomb and he liked blowing things up.

 

William had the reapers warn those who were close to the home to be aware that the house was going to be blown up most likely so they might want to stay back.  Sebastian and Kirkland walked with the group into town letting the Archangels know they needed to either stay invisible to humans or hide their wings.  The Archangels merely hid their wings wondering what this bomb was going to look like when the two former demons were done with it.  Sebastian was a little bummed they did not have fireworks for sale since that would have worked great to make a bomb with.

 

Going to a local store, the two former demons grabbed a cart and filled it with different things to build the bomb with.  Calis wondered how big this thing was going to be since it seemed like an awful lot of stuff the two were gathering and it was mainly things they would never use on vacation here so hopefully it was all going to be blown up.  Then Sebastian got everyone these huge two liter bottles of soda since they needed something to put the bomb in.

 

After buying all their supplies, Sebastian and everyone carried a bag with Sebastian and Kirkland making everyone drink the sodas.  Calis felt bloated from drinking so much soda and was burping off and on excusing himself every time which Sebastian thought was cute.

 

“I don’t think we are going to be able to stomach drinking all of these.  Perhaps we should just pour the soda out.”

 

Kirkland said as he burped excusing himself after the fact as he too felt bloated from so much soda.

 

“If Ashton was here, he could down at least two of these by himself.”

 

Calis said feeling slightly ill from so much soda and carbonation.

 

“Well we can pour them out although it is a bit of a waste.  I hate wasting anything, but so be it.”

 

Sebastian stated as he too felt bloated, but they only had four more bottles to drink down.  The Archangel cherubs couldn’t drink any more as they were burping and laughing at each other as Luke burped the alphabet.  Alex and Bob could not drink anymore and they too were excusing themselves as they burped.

 

Zachary drank down two of the two liters by himself and was feeling ill from the soda and he normally liked soda.

 

“Do we really need all of these bottles?  I mean you are only blowing up the living room really.”

 

Calis said and Kirkland thought about it since this was mainly his idea.

 

“I think we need just one more bottle so we can save the other three for later.  We do however need to rinse out these bottles before we do anything with them.”

 

Kirkland stated as they would pour out one two liters when they got back to Lia and Allen’s place.  Then they would put together the bombs.

 

“Charles, you and the other Archangels will have to punch holes in the floor for these to sit to blow the concrete out.  She is going to hear you so we will have to stay far away including Kirkland.  Kirkland, you should just give them the spell that will remove the barrier.”

 

Sebastian said and Kirkland sighed since it wasn’t that easy.  A demon had to do the spell or part demon.

 

“They have to be part demon to remove the spell or it has to be a full demon.  I have to go to do this.  I just have to hope she won’t turn me into a vampire or kill me.  If she kills me, it will be a while before I get back.  Watch after Leon for me since depending on what happens he will need you.”

 

Kirkland said and Allen thought about this.  He did not care if he was turned into a vampire, he did not want to die, but being turned was no big deal to him.

 

“Let me go in your place Kirkland.  I don’t mind becoming a vampire and if I die I know how to talk my way back out of hell to come back here.  Just don’t leave until I get back if I do die.”

 

Allen said and Kirkland did not like this plan.  His friend might end up dying for good where he knew he would come back.

 

“Let Allen do this Kirkland.  It will be the least he can do for our people since if he dies hell will send him back out.  We have a deal and as long as the contract between us stands he will come back.’

“Hopefully, she will simply turn him into a vampire and then you can deal with that being his fate.  Just make sure you take him far from here if that happens as the vampires here have enough problems.  However, when his time is up and he hasn’t found love he will return to me.  That is the deal since he will die with me if he hasn’t found love.  I doubt he will since he is a total and utter shit head with no love for anything or anyone.”

 

Lia said as she truly doubted Allen would find love.  The man was an ass and hopefully he would simply accept his fate since he was destined to die.

 

“Whatever cunt.”

 

Allen said angrily as he sat with Sebastian and Kirkland putting together the bombs as Kirkland gave Allen the spell.  Kirkland still did not like that Allen was going to do this, but Leon was glad of it since that meant Kirkland would be safe.  Besides, Leon could just see Kirkland’s reaction to being stuck as a ten-year-old vampire or dying coming back as a bloody toddler.

 

“Light these after the Archangels leave Allen and they should work to break through to the cave underneath the house.  Once these go off it will be a mess so you will have to work fast to get through.  Once you are in though she is fairly weak so killing her won’t be an issue.  I don’t think she can move so most likely the blast will cause some of the cave to cave in on her.  She will be most likely going to start the spells when she hears you break through the floor.  The best thing to do is do the spell while the Archangels are placing the bombs to get through the barrier before they go off since after the barrier is lifted she is vulnerable.’

“Most likely when she hears them punching through the floor to place the bombs she will start to chant either a spell to kill whomever is doing this or change them into a vampire.  The spell should not affect the Archangels, but it will affect you Allen.  If it is to change you, we need to be able to bind you until we can get you to a place where you can feed without killing those around you.  If you die we will wait for you for a few days, but we can’t stay beyond that.  I really hope you know what you are getting into Allen.”

 

Kirkland said as he would do this, but if Allen wanted to than Kirkland would let him.

 

“I am aware of the consequences.  I am sure that Archangel’s chains can keep me bound if I change.  If I die, I will be back in two days max.  I know who to talk to and how to get out of hell if necessary.  This won’t be the first time I died.”

 

Allen stated as he helped put together the last bomb.

 

“I can chain a vampire no problem.”

 

Henry said as he was ready to do this.  It had been a while since Henry got to be a part of killing an ancient demon so he kind of looked forward to this.  If Allen died, that was one less demon to deal with for now.

Chapter 3

 

The four Archangels left with Allen as Allen did the spell on the house in question to open it.  All five stood in the living room as Allen chanted the spell to remove the barrier.  So far everything seemed to be going fine.  Allen then left the house as the four Archangels quickly without fooling around punched holes in the floor putting the bottle bombs into the holes and quickly leaving after it was done.  Allen was just outside when he felt something funny happening to him, but ignored it for now as he used his powers to light the fuses and do the spell to make the bombs go off as the five moved away from the house as suddenly a huge explosion was heard and a scream below.

 

The Archangels immediately went to work digging through the rubble to get to the demon who was buried underneath it all.  She was trying to speak, but the damage to the building and the fact she had several hundred pounds of concrete on her she could not move and her lungs were crushed.  She was dying, but Charles finished her off first with a slice to her head with his death scythe collecting all her records.

 

After unburying the demon to find the skull to set the vampire spirit free, they found it cradled in her hands as though she was trying to protect it.  It had an eerie red glow to it as suddenly the spirit spoke to the Archangels.

 

“I’m still alive.  Please take this curse off of me.”

 

The spirit begged as Henry went to have Allen go get Kirkland to help.  However just as he turned around Allen started to glow red also and his body contorted as he fell upon the ground.

 

“Oh, god it is happening again!”

 

The spirit sobbed out as it watched the demon slowly become a vampire except this was much worse since he would still be a demon as a vampire.

 

Henry hurried with the chains chaining Allen although it wasn’t easy by any means since the demon vampire was strong.  Allen was literally foaming out the mouth needing blood and any blood at this point would do.

 

“Do you know the curse on this scull spirit?  What is your name and how do we stop this curse?”

 

Luke asked the spirit who shook in agony as he watched another newborn get born out of a demon.  It was Lilith’s fault this was happening.  She was the demon who fell in love with him and cursed him to be with her for eternity.  She hid him away when the reapers came for him when he had been burned by a demon and Lilith cursed them all with him still living inside the skull.

 

“My name is Benjamin and Lilith was the one who placed the curse on my skull.  It has formed a body with all the newborns being born as part of the spell to bring me back to life.  A hundred newborns had to be born to bring me back.  With Lilith, it had been over one hundred and fifty now since she lost her mind when she thought she lost me.’

“She put my body in a sarcophagus in the cemetery.  If you can set me free I can show you which one and you can take my skull there.  It will combine with my body and this curse will hopefully end.  She swore to me we would be together forever, but not this way……. not like this.”

 

Benjamin sobbed as he felt he was at fault for all the newborns being born.  It was supposed to be a blessing not a curse.

 

“The only way we can set you free is to burn this skull.”

 

Luke said sadly since he did not want to kill this poor soul.

 

“No, you can’t because it won’t burn.  It has been tried before.  However, my old bones are buried here in the ground under your feet.  If you burn, salt, and bury them that should free me.”

 

Benjamin said and Luke, Charles, and Mark started to dig finding a few of the bones, but many had already deteriorated into dust.  Hopefully the few left would work.

 

“Please, if you can, bury Lilith in my place with my old bones.  We did love each other once and I don’t want her to rot here in this hole like this.  I know she was a demon, but she was never meant to be one when I knew her.  She was meant to be an Angel.  I know that she did things the wrong way, but she did love me.  That has to count for something.”

 

Benjamin begged of the Archangels.

 

It wasn’t easy unburying Lilith from the concrete covering her bleeding broken body.  However, they dug a hole and put her body next to Benjamin’s as they salted both corpses and Charles set fire to them freeing the spirit of Benjamin who thanked them profusely.  Then they reburied the bones and buried Lilith’s body with Charles placing a cement piece over both with their names carved on it to mark the grave.

 

The demons who posed at police arrived at the scene to see what the hell was going on.  The city had been quiet up until now other than the newborns being born constantly.

 

The Archangels came out of the hole in the ground with the skull and let the demon police know what was going on.  They were grateful for the help, but hoped the Angels would leave soon.   Having Angels and Archangels about made the ancient demons here nervous plus they were not causing problems so hopefully they would all go soon.

 

“Take Allen back to the house Henry.  We will take care of Benjamin.”

 

Charles said as he sent Luke with Henry to carry the struggling newborn vampire demon to Lia’s house to deal with him when they had time.  Hopefully, the curse ending might change Allen back to a demon again.

 

The spirit floated ahead of the Archangels as they followed it to the local cemetery where there was a shallow grave dug and a large sarcophagus sitting in it.  Charles and Mark were easily able to lift the whole thing up out of the ground to open it.  Inside was the fully restored body of Benjamin although they were not sure how he was going to react when he was restored.

 

“Place the skull against my head and it will materialize into my body.  That should lift the curse.”

 

Benjamin said as he waited for his skull to be restored to his new body.   The Archangels did as they were told and the skull stopped glowing and sunk into the body as the spirit rejoined its host.  The body of Benjamin glowed for a moment and then there was nothing happening for a few minutes until suddenly Benjamin sat up sucking in a huge gulp of air.

 

Charles watched the vampire as his crystal eyes showed his hunger and his fangs were out, but Benjamin did not attack.  Instead he looked around for a moment before getting up and getting out of the sarcophagus.

 

“Are you ok?”

 

Charles asked the vampire who nodded his head although he was very hungry.

 

“I’m fine, but I need to feed.”

 

Benjamin said as he dusted his clothing off as it was as ancient as he was.

 

“Well you can feed on us if you must.”

 

Charles said and Benjamin shook his head no.

 

“No, I need to feed too much to feed on you.  I need to feed on a demon first.”

 

Benjamin stated as they took him to go see Lia who was laughing her ass off at Allen who was trying to bite anyone who came close.

 

“He is like a puppy.  He has no idea of how ridiculous he looks.”

 

Lia cooed at her soon to be ex-husband.

 

“He needs to feed and soon.  We need to get him to the farm.”

 

Bob said and Alex nodded as he felt kind of bad for Allen since Lia had been teasing him with her blood ever since he came back.  She hovered around him and was picking on Allen terribly.

 

“Lia, we have a vampire who needs to feed.  Would you please feed him?”

 

Kirkland asked as he looked at Benjamin, but Lia wasn’t looking at him. She thought they were talking about Allen.

 

“I’m not feeding this asshole.  He can starve for all I care.”

 

Lia said and Benjamin was about to leave thinking she meant him.

 

“Not Allen, Lia, this other vampire.”

 

Kirkland said as he grabbed Benjamin’s arm and dragged the vampire over to Lia.  Lia had to admit Benjamin if not for the fact he was so sallow and pale was gorgeous.

 

“Sure, I will feed this one.”

 

Lia said as she flipped her long hair back and cut into her throat a bit as the vampire moaned in pleasure at the sight of fresh blood.  Benjamin took his time in finding the spot to bite into as he latched on and fed.  While Benjamin fed the Archangels explained what happened and why Benjamin was here.  He was also a very ancient vampire and needed a home as he had been trapped in a cave for who knows how long and a sarcophagus.

 

“Well we can call Stephanie to see what she says unless he wants to stay here in which we should call Jamal.  I think out of any vampire he should have the right to stay in his homeland as this was his home probably before Jamal was even born from the looks of his clothing.”

 

Bob said and Calis sighed since he had room, but really enough was enough as far as having demons and vampires move in with him.

 

“He can stay with us if Stephanie wants him in her coven.  With his being the reason for the curse I don’t know if he will be welcome here any longer.  It wasn’t his fault, but some of the others might blame him for what happened and this place is not exactly safe with the demons all being here.”

 

Calis said and Lia sighed since she had to be getting soft and besides she liked Benjamin.  He was handsome and probably better in bed than Allen could ever hope to be.

 

“He can stay with me.  If anyone says anything, I will deal with them.  This was his homeland first and if any vampire has issues with him they can deal with me.  I divorcing the shithead on the floor so I don’t mind the company plus anything is better than having Allen around.”

 

Lia stated as she held Benjamin keeping him to her throat to feed as long as he needed to.  She would care for this ancient vampire since she had a soft spot for vampires and he was better looking than any man she had seen recently.  Benjamin had long black hair, dark skin, and was well built.  His vampiric eyes were beautiful, but everyone kind of hoped to see the other color of his eyes.

 

Meanwhile, Bob was talking to Jamal to let him know about the curse being lifted and that Benjamin was here to stay.  Jamal seemed slightly unhappy they were not taking the vampire with them, but would not argue since he did not want to piss off the demons.   Jamal did however want to meet Benjamin.

 

After Benjamin fed, he felt kind of dizzy and needed to sit down.   He was familiar with this feeling since he fed on demons regularly before this point so the only real concern he had was he did not want to be lit on fire again since that had hurt.

 

“We are leaving it up to you Benjamin.  You are welcome to stay with Lia or you may come with us.  Bob and Alex are going to be leaving for a little while to take care of Allen so you are welcome to go with them to a new coven or stay here and join Jamal’s.  To be honest Jamal really does not want more vampires here, but this was your home first.”

 

Calis said and Benjamin thought about things.  He did not want to be where he was unwelcome, but he also did not want to leave his homeland.

 

“Do I have time to think about this?  I mean this was my home, but I don’t want to be where I am not welcome either.  I was the cause of many misfortunes for my people and I don’t want to cause more trouble.”

 

Benjamin said and Lia took his hand.

 

“You were not at fault for this Benjamin.  We demons needed to keep tabs on our people as well.  This is a place we come to so we may die in peace.  We love the beaches here and it is our home as well.  I can talk to my demon friends and you will be welcome to stay here with me.  We will care for you while you are here.’

“My stupid soon to be ex-husband never appreciated this place, but we do.  An ancient vampire deserves to have a home with ancient beings like himself.  I would be honored if you would stay with me here and teach me more about you as well as the former demon you resided with.  We have great respect for our elders here in this community.”

 

Lia stated and Kirkland was not too sure this was such a great idea.  Lia being a demon might end up just like Lilith except without the falling in love part.  Lia would use Benjamin and manipulate him to her side only to leave him heartbroken and with other demons who would also use him.

 

“I appreciate your offer Lia, but if I were to stay here I would want to stay with my own kind.  If Jamal and the vampires here won’t have me, than I will go with these people.”

 

Benjamin said as he knew demons well enough to know he was not safe living with them.  Lilith had taught him that much and he had loved her.

 

“I am going to assume you will be going with us since Jamal made himself quite clear about how he feels concerning other vampires living here in this community.  He may not stop you from doing so, but he will limit your options when it comes to feeding.”

 

Calis said since he knew the vampire well enough to know he did not want more vampires here, at least not until more humans arrived in the area.

 

“Well this is not Jamal’s community.  Benjamin deserves to be here just as much as any other vampire or we can consider not feeding him and his people.  We can once again hunt vampires if that is the way they are going to be.”

 

Lia said angrily since she wanted Benjamin to stay.  She had her own reasons for that, but it was irrelevant.  This was the ancient vampire’s home first before Jamal and his kind arrived.

 

“I sincerely hope you will not hunt our kind again or stop feeding them.  Most of them are mere children.  Please do not fight over me.  I have caused enough trouble.”

 

Benjamin pleaded as he did not want a war with the vampires and demons when there had been harmony for all these years.

 

“If you start a war here we will eradicate your kind.  We are just being nice for now, but if you cause problems we will come back and we will destroy you all.”

 

Luke said to the demon as he was not fucking around.  Benjamin had a right to make his own decisions and the vampires here deserved peace as much as the demons felt they did.

 

“Oh, for heaven’s sake we were getting along so nicely.  Why does everyone have to be up in arms suddenly?  Lia, Benjamin deserves to make his own choices and Jamal deserves to be heard on his side of things.  To be honest there are enough demons here to feed even vampires who visit if they are going to be friendly with vampire kind.  However, if they start killing vampires and there is a problem with that then that is what the reapers are for.”

 

Kirkland said and William was not too thrilled with that idea.

 

“My reapers are not the saviors of vampire kind.  If demons kill vampires, it is not our problem.  We deal with human deaths and vampires are the minority in our jobs.  If demons go off the lists to start killing outside of that, we will come and we will kill demons.  If vampires kill humans that are not supposed to die and continue to do so, we kill them.  We are not mediators for vampire or demon rights.  As far as I am concerned both parties can die and I would be happy since they cause overtime for me and my kind.  I only consider a few of the vampires my friends and that is very few since most are more of a thorn in my side than an asset.”

 

William stated with no emotion what so ever since he pretty much hated demons and merely tolerated vampires.  As far as he was concerned Jamal could go die with his kind here for insulting his friends.  Why Sebastian allowed Jamal to live was beyond William at this point.

 

“Mmmm………. I like you.  So, cold, so emotionless, so calculating.  Now that is a real man, not some sniveling worm like my soon to be ex-husband.”

 

Lia said to William sauntering over to him until he put his scythe at her throat.

 

“Don’t even touch me or I will end you.”

 

William said firmly as he was not afraid of killing this bitch.  Lia ignored the threat and straightened William’s tie patting his chest before sitting back down.

 

“It is too bad you aren’t available or we could have fun………William.”

 

Lia said as she crossed her legs and leaned back into the couch.

 

William was pissed, but Sebastian put a hand on his friend trying to get William to calm down.  Lia was just playing with him.  Sebastian whispered something in William’s ear and William calmed down quite a bit after that.  William would help that asshole Allen to fall in love just to spite this bitch.  If Kingsly was here, Lia would be dead as his wife would have sliced the bitch up for touching his husband.  It was too bad Kingsly wasn’t here since sometimes Kingsly’s wild moments of insanity were amusing as well as useful.  Looking at the dirty dishes from lunch William had an idea.

 

“Sebastian why don’t we take those dishes back home?  I mean demons can’t use them here.”

 

William suggested and Sebastian shrugged as he gathered the dishes from everyone except for the plastic spoons which were thrown away.

 

“If you are going home, do you mind terribly making some more drinks for us Sebastian?  Unless you want me to come along and show me how to do it myself and I will make them for us.”

 

Alex asked since that chocolate milk drink was absolutely the best he ever had.

 

“I can make more.  It is no problem Alex.  Stay here and watch over Calis for me since we are going to be leaving soon.”

 

Sebastian said as he went through the portal with William who helped Sebastian wash the dishes.  Then while Sebastian was making drinks for everyone William went to go get his wife after asking Sven to watch the children for him.

 

Kingsly heard the words from William ‘female and touched his husband’ which sent Kingsly through the roof.  William did not calm his wife down this time as he told Kingsly where to find the demon who did this and told Sebastian he would be back for him in a few minutes.  Sebastian could care less what they were doing as he was busy making drinks.

 

William introduced Kingsly to everyone when he returned to the demon’s house and Lia did the stupidest thing she could do.  She insulted Kingsly and had the nerve to say she would be better in bed than some little red head who probably did not know what her man truly needed.

 

Kingsly lost it completely pulling out his death scythe and attacking Lia who was unarmed trying to dodge the crazed reaper’s attacks.  Kirkland wanted to put a stop to this since Kingsly might hit someone, but William told Kirkland to relax.  Kingsly was aware of his enemy right now and it was best to let the two women deal with each other.

 

“GET BACK HERE YOU BITCH!”

 

Kingsly roared as Lia jumped out the window with Kingsly following her as the demons watched the crazed grim reaper chase after Lia who was good at dodging, but had gotten cut a few times.  Kingsly was also getting faster as the demons were unsure of what they should do considering there were Angels and reapers here so they did not want to cause problems.

 

Benjamin looked a little disturbed by the display of the two women, but William simply smiled watching his wife out the window as Kingsly chased that demon all over rooftops since he was going to kill the bitch.  If nothing else, both the demon and Kingsly were getting a great workout.  Kingsly was also getting much better to with his aim.

 

After a few minutes passed, Kingsly came back after cutting off the demon’s arm, and skewering her down the middle.  Kingsly was covered in blood, but to William no one looked as beautiful as his wife did at this moment.

 

“She won’t be getting up for a while.”

 

Kingsly said honestly as he kissed his husband who put an arm around his wife.

 

“I’m not too worried about that sweetheart.  You know you shouldn’t let things get to you so.  You know I only love one woman and I am looking at him.  However, if you killed that demon I would not be the slightest bit upset about it.”

 

William said to his beloved wife who smiled at William hugging him.

 

“When are you coming home?”

 

Kingsly asked William as he looked up at his husband.

 

“I won’t be too much longer I hope.  You are welcome to stay if you want darling.”

 

William said and Kingsly thought about it deciding to stay for a little while longer although he needed to get changed into something less bloody.

 

Lia was fine, but decided to stay away from her house for a while as she was not going to deal with that crazy red haired bitch since she was not armed to fight back.

 

Bob contacted Stephanie to tell her about Allen and that the newborn vampire would be chained in a casket for them to pick up at the airport.  Bob also contacted Jamal to tell him of Allen and needing his help with at least a casket to put Allen in to send him to their coven.  Jamal said he would drive his hearse over since he did own a mortuary where he sold caskets and such as the casket he would bring would be a simple wood one. The casket would be shipped in a cardboard box.  Bob figured they could ship it by private jet since after the photo shoot Bob figured he would fly whomever was going to be going with him and Alex back to England.

 

Bob wanted to marry Alex as soon as possible and thus he would drop Allen off with the vampires letting Richard go nuts babying the newborn while he and Alex went to get married.  Bob called Richard after calling Stephanie with Richard going crazy wondering if William shouldn’t just bring Allen through with him when he picked up Sebastian again through the portal since Richard felt he and his consorts could take care of the baby vampire until everyone arrived at the farm.

 

Asking William politely if he would mind taking Allen with him when he went through the portal again to get Sebastian to give him over to Richard, Stephen, and Johnathan to take to the farm, William figured he could do that but he wanted to put the newborn vampire into the casket first since he did not want to be bitten.

 

Jamal was on his way with the casket as he headed towards the house in question in his hearse as the caskets he used to transport newborns to their various locations were thin wood ones that were cheaply made mainly sold as props for the local movie shoots and such unless a fancier casket was needed.   He sold quite a few of these prop caskets as even the eccentric Americans bought these for their haunted houses since they were cheap but looked authentic enough for their purposes.

 

When Jamal arrived with the casket, he noted that there was a red haired woman with blood all over her making Jamal a bit hungry since he had not fed yet and the new vampire he had been told about named Benjamin who was sitting in ancient clothing that he wanted to know a bit more about since the demons said they wanted him to live with them.  Really Jamal did not want more vampires here until more humans arrived, but he also knew this was Benjamin’s homeland before he even arrived here.  If truth be told, the ancient vampire should be the head of the coven here, but Jamal had worked long and hard to make this work for his people so he hoped Benjamin would leave with the other vampires rather than stay even if the demons wanted him to stay.

 

Jamal had brought his sons with him to help carry the casket in after Bob explained a few things on the new plan so that Jamal knew the newborn vampire Allen was going to be leaving immediately which was a relief to Jamal.  Even with all the demons living here, Jamal hoped there would be few vampire visitors until there were more humans in the city.

 

“This newborn vampire is strong.  Much too strong for regular chains, what chains are you using for him?”

 

Jamal asked as he, Bob, and Alex put Allen into the casket as Allen fought trying to get free to get to the blood.

 

“The Archangels used their chains for him.”

 

Calis explained as he regarded Allen who was whimpering at the other vampires to set him free and let him feed as they put him into the casket.

 

“Well the casket will hold him for a short time, but you will need at least three vampires to keep him from wiggling away.  I haven’t seen a vampire this strong before.”

 

Jamal said and Calis wondered if Benjamin should not go with them since it was obvious he was not going to be welcomed with his own kind here.  At this point Calis did not care if the demons killed Jamal and his kind.  He understood their problems, but Benjamin was not a burden to them especially with the fact they were mainly feeding on demons.  Still, Calis did not want to argue with them or try to prove his point.  They had their way of doing things and even if Benjamin was accepted by them he would definitely be limited on his hunting grounds.

 

Bob called Richard to tell him the change in plans and called Stephanie to tell her they were going to need the vampires to be ready for the newborn vampire since he was not going to be flown out, but sent by portal immediately to Underwood Estates in a casket.

 

“Benjamin why don’t you go with Richard and the others who will care for Allen.  I think that you will be happier living with me and you won’t have limits so much on your feeding.”

 

Calis said and Benjamin understood deciding to go with the others with the newborn.  Benjamin helped lift the casket with William, Bob, and Alex as it rocked a bit with the struggling vampire inside.   Allen was struggling much more since it was dark and he did not like that as he was hungry plus as a newborn he felt that the vampires around him were just being mean.

 

William opened the portal and Richard went absolutely bonkers as he immediately opened the casket up to coo over the newborn vampire.  Peter tried to get Richard off of Allen, but Richard seemed to be as upset as Allen that he was put in a casket like some movie vampire, the poor thing.

 

Bob said after he got back from Jamaica and after he married Alex he would come to the farm, but he wanted to finish some things first with everyone understanding this.  Richard had a car for the newborn vampire to travel in since between him and Stephen they figured they could handle a newborn vampire even a strong one.  Benjamin wasn’t so sure about this, but Richard said they had done this before with Bob and Allen would be fine besides he did not want him stuck in a dark casket where he could not see them.

 

Richard had been told by Stephanie to wait for her before doing anything so he was currently talking to the baby vampire while he was chained as Allen whimpered to Richard that there was blood here and Richard understood trying to help the poor baby as Allen could not feed just yet.  Richard hoped Stephanie would hurry since the longer the baby vampire was here, the longer he would suffer.

 

Sebastian had everyone’s drinks ready as he was currently ignoring Richard who was freaking out since Stephanie had not shown up yet and it had only been five minutes since he called her.    Allen was wiggling around trying to get free of his chains as he was whimpering and whining every few minutes smelling blood all around him, but unable to feed on it.

 

“William, I am ready to go.  Bob, I suggest you get ready to leave with Alex if you are coming.”

 

Sebastian said since Bob and Alex were sitting ignoring Richard watching some television since they did not feel like watching Richard freak out every five seconds when Allen would start to fuss.

 

“Ok.”

 

Bob said as he got up and Alex with him.

 

“You are not even going to wait for Stephanie?”

 

Richard asked the two vampires who were leaving.

 

“Richard, you have Stephen, Johnathan, Benjamin, and Peter here.  Bob has to finish the photo shoot plus we promised to find a way to help Jamal get more humans in the area he is in not to mention find lodging for the night since Kirkland and Leon are going to be staying to take care of some nasty demon spells which we would like to understand better.  Besides we can’t fly home without Calis and William can’t continually portal us back and forth all the time.  He has a job and a wife plus kids to care for.’

“Benjamin has been out of things for a while, but I am pretty sure he knows how to deal with a newborn vampire, especially a demon one.  I personally think you are nuts to let him out of the casket before he has fed, but it is you who has to worry about the car getting torn apart if he wiggles free of the seatbelt.’

“This isn’t like me Richard.  This vampire was a pure-blooded demon and when he comes to you will be dealing with a demon vampire not a human vampire.  Those chains are the only thing keeping him from going absolutely nuts so be prepared to be very busy with him if you think you can handle him.  Personally, he needs Stephanie and Benjamin to handle him since they know how to deal with this better than you do.  You are much too lenient Richard and Allen is going to need a firm hand.  You can’t unchain him just because he thinks he is ok and the Archangels probably won’t unchain him until they are sure he is safe.’

“Also, he wants to fall in love so he can be unmated to his demon mate so he will want your aid with that.  I am going to pray you don’t hook him up with any of your ex-boyfriends.  They are all in love with you not him.  Stephen’s ex-boyfriends have the same problem as you have with yours.  They are in love with Stephen.  Allen needs someone to love him.  He is an ancient demon so he will trick, coerce, and play with anyone you try to set him up with until he gets what he wants.  What he needs is someone who refuses him and doesn’t think he is that great.  If you can find a man who finds Allen attractive, but could care less about physical attraction you might have someone for Allen.  Pretty much, you are looking for another Calis except fully grown.”

 

Bob said to Richard as Richard stopped to think about this.  He did not know anyone who was like Calis that was grown.  The closest he could think of is Peter, but Peter wanted a consort not an already born vampire and there is no guarantee he would want to be with a demon especially a demon vampire.  Problem was Peter was his ex-boyfriend.

 

“I don’t know anyone like that except one person and he is an ex-boyfriend.”

 

Richard said and Bob sighed.

 

“No ex-boyfriends Richard.  Remember they have to love Allen and he has to love them.  He only has twenty years to find someone he loves or else he will have to go die with his demon mate.  I am sure we can find someone, but you need to remember he is a demon.  Demons are not necessarily nice people.”

 

Bob stated and Benjamin agreed with Bob.

 

“Well I will look for him, but don’t expect miracles since finding someone like that is not going to be easy.”

 

Richard said and Bob nodded as he left with Alex, William, and Sebastian helping to carry the bottled drinks.

 

“Peter, you wouldn’t be interested in dating him, would you?”

 

Richard asked his former boyfriend who looked down at Allen debating whether or not he would be interested.  The man was very good looking, but it was his personality that he would have to see about and he also wasn’t sure he wanted to fall in love with an already made vampire again.

 

“You don’t want to date him Peter.”

 

Benjamin said firmly since he knew how demons were.

 

“Why not?  He isn’t bad looking.  It is just the personality I have to figure out.  I am not one to easily fall in love and I would indeed make him work for me.”

 

Peter said since he was interested in finding someone to be with.

 

“This demon will be anything you desire personality wise to suck you into their world.  They can change their body, their looks, and their feelings on a whim even as a vampire.  A demon will give you everything you dream of only to rip it away from you when they get bored.  If he doesn’t fall in love with you, he will leave you broken chasing after him forever only to laugh at your sorrow.  They live to humiliate and cause fear in their wake.  They love to kill your emotions and to kill you if you get on their nerves.  Sometimes they just want to kill you anyway just for something to do.’

“As far as being a vampire, he will want to feed up until death for some people and he will have to be watched constantly.  If he knows he can’t do something, he will want to do it because he can’t.  It is like having a child around.’

“When they love something, they love it fiercely and God help anyone who tries to take it away.  If he falls in love with you, he will want you around him constantly and yet still want to play his games as long as you don’t leave his sight.’

“They also can’t stand sweetness for long.  They like bitter, nagging, hate filled, and angry people.  Not just for their souls either, they like to be tormented to a point and forced to behave, but not for too long.  If you cage them too long, they become like wild beasts and will break free causing chaos in their wake.  They will however try to cage and control you especially if they love you.”

 

Benjamin said and Peter looked at Richard.

 

“It sounds like dating you Richard without the super clinginess part since you have days you don’t want to be around anyone.”

 

Peter stated and Richard looked completely insulted.

 

“I am not like that and I never said you were a nagging, bitter, hate filled, angry person, I just said you can be antisocial.  Also, killing prejudice people and republicans is not a crime, it is doing the world a favor.”

 

Richard said in frustration.

 

“You are exactly like that.  I have known you longer than anyone and you might as well be a demon vampire Richard.  The only thing you can’t do is change forms.”

 

Peter said and Benjamin chuckled a bit.

 

“You two sound like you are married.”

 

Benjamin stated and Richard snorted at that.

 

“Might as well have been and could have been if one of us wasn’t such a slut.”

 

Peter said in frustration.

 

“You love this behavior?  Demon like behavior?”

 

Benjamin asked since if so maybe Peter would be good for Allen.

 

“Believe me I don’t want to go through that hell again, but yes I still love Richard.  It isn’t like we stopped loving each other, we just couldn’t live with each other.  Richard will never settle down and I need stability.”

 

Peter said and Benjamin thought about things.

 

“Well you might be able to save Allen, Peter.  It is known when a demon falls in love they become an Angel and if Allen falls for you he might be saved.  However, with a demon you have to pretty much force loyalty.  You can get it from a demon, but you have to have something they want and usually that is a unique soul.  The biggest thing you have to have with them if they love you is a contract and be willing to give your soul to them, however once you do you will become an Angel also.  I am almost sure you remain as a vampire, but not sure on that since when demons turn into Angels they rarely stay where I was from as there were too many demons and too much of a chance of them being killed.”

 

Benjamin said and Peter shook his head no.

 

“No, I am not going to do this.  I fell in love with Richard.  That was enough for me.  I do not want another Richard.”

 

Peter stated and Benjamin shrugged.

 

“You may not be able to resist Allen long and he will want you more the more you refuse him.”

 

Benjamin said thinking that this might actually be a good thing.  If Peter all out refused him, Allen would want to know why and then the fun would begin.  This could be entertaining if nothing else.

 

“Richard, you can have him and make him fall in love with you.  That is all he needs, right?  Just to fall in love with someone?”

 

Peter asked and Benjamin shook his head no.

 

“He needs to find a mate not just a person to fall in love with plus Richard has two consorts so that would not work.  I would do it, but I am not gay.  I like women, just not demon ones.”

 

Benjamin said and Peter felt a bit frustrated.

 

“I’ll help look for a mate for him, but I am not biting when it comes to this one.  I have already dealt with too much trouble in this life and I can wait for another Alex.  I know one is out there so I’ll just bide my time and find him.”

 

Peter said as he figured he made up his mind.

 

“Why do you want Alex so much?”

 

Benjamin asked and Richard sighed since he knew.

 

“Alex is sweet and a gentle soul.  Peter wants whomever he is with to be completely devoted to him like Bob and Alex are with each other.  I could never be totally loyal to Peter which he never understood even when I tried.’

“I am a social butterfly.  I flitter about to each sweet young thing and give them a life of luxury as well as a good education.  I haven’t been doing so lately though since I was told I might go to hell if I keep this up so I merely keep my donors handy and all those precious boys I broke up with will still get their lifestyles, just not as extravagant as before.  I can’t afford too much extravagance myself.”

 

Richard said and Peter shook his head.

 

“You are a slut not a social butterfly.  Richard, you flirt like a mad dog and charm the pants off of every single male you find attractive straight or not.  You are a whore in sheep’s clothing.  All one has to do is say bend over and you are right there with a line of lovers waiting for their turn at your assets and charms.  Quit lying to everyone about what you are not.  You are a male slut of the worst kind and if you were a human you probably would be dead from all the STDs you would get in this day and age since to you a condom is always optional.”

 

Peter said and Richard just ignored him.

 

“I say you two should kiss and make up since you both belong together.  Allen might even feel a bit envious of what you two have.”

 

Benjamin stated and Richard sighed as nothing would happen again between himself and Peter.  That was ancient history.

 

“I am marrying Stephen so no this will not happen.”

 

Richard said and Benjamin thought that was a mistake.

 

“But he is so young.  Really, you should let your consorts marry each other.  They are more similar in age plus have much more in common.  It is obvious to me who loves who here and who belongs with whom.”

 

Benjamin said and Richard looked at his consorts who were happily leaning on each other on the couch telling each other jokes while watching television.

 

“I can’t force Richard to be loyal only to me.  That is part of the reason we cannot be a couple again and I won’t force him.  The man I choose has to be loyal to me or I won’t be with them.  I’ll wait and hope since I have time.”

 

Peter said as he walked away and Benjamin was terribly frustrated since he knew when two people were destined to be together since that was part of his special power.  Benjamin had a keen sense of knowing when certain events were going to happen and when people belonged together as the universe intended.  Peter who was introverted needed an extroverted soul to get him out rather than someone who was too much like him.  If Peter got sweet and submissive, he would not be happy long.  He needed conflict to be happy and someone a bit more dominant in nature although not too dominant.
