“Mmmm……. good morning.”

 

Zachary said with a stretch and a yawn.

 

“Did you sleep well or have any dreams?”

 

Allen asked and Zachary sighed.

 

“I slept well, but no dreams this time.  Did you sleep well?”

 

Zachary asked and Allen smiled.

 

“I did not sleep.  I was up all night trying to heal your soul.”

 

Zachary frowned since Allen should have rested.

 

“You are going to be tired today.  Are you going to be able to function?”

 

Zachary asked as he really did not understand this thing with souls as he had never seen a soul so to him it was some imaginary force that he did not think much about.

 

“I will be fine.  I will have to feed soon, but I wanted to hear your voice first.  I had really hoped when I changed that I would no longer be a vampire, but no such luck.  I have always wanted to try food, but it is a small thing to give up.”

 

Allen said and Zachary sighed.

 

“Food isn’t all that great.  I have to eat to live, but to be honest I could live without it.  Richard said that vampires don’t even miss food, but I guess if you have never tried it than it would be nice to do it once.  At least male vampires can drink stuff other than blood.  I played bartender once for a friend and I know how to mix all sorts of drinks so I will make you something sometime.”

 

Zachary yawned again since although he was awake his feathers had flown everywhere from his wings and the feathers had been tickling his nose off and on.

 

“I will drink anything you make me.  You know I am naked now.  My demonic clothing is gone so I am chained, unable to move much, with no clothing on.  I at least felt less exposed with my demonic clothing and less vulnerable.  The least the Archangels could do now is let me go so I can put clothing on.  It isn’t like I can go anywhere or that I will go anywhere.”

 

Zachary smiled since he was expecting Allen to tease him again about being naked.

 

“Well I am in my boxers and when you go feed I am going to take a shower and get dressed.”

 

Zachary stated as he always slept in his boxers.

 

“Sleep in the nude with me tonight.  You don’t have to do anything sexual with me as I can’t do anything anyway, but sleep naked with me tonight Zachary.”

 

Allen wanted that intimacy even if they were this far away from each other.

 

“I don’t know if I can sleep naked Allen.  Besides I kind of have a fear of bugs.”

 

Zachary said and Allen started to laugh so hard he was snorting.

 

“Boxers are not going to protect you from bugs my silly little Angel.”

 

Allen said as he tried to catch his breath.  Zachary was so damn cute and so funny.  Boxers to protect him from bugs.

 

“Well they make me feel better like something can’t crawl up in me.”

 

Zachary was blushing like crazy since it was a genuine fear he had.

 

“You’re afraid of bugs crawling up your ass and into you?  Zachary, you are killing me!  I swear to you that if you sleep naked, which you will do often with me, no bug is going to crawl up your cute little ass and invade you.  I on the other hand when I see you am going to pounce on you and kiss you to death!  The only thing that is going into that sweet tight ass of yours is me and I promise when I invade you there will be nothing to fear as I plan on being extremely gentle with you.’

“Now you will sleep naked with me tonight and every night from now on with my solemn promise that I will destroy any bug who comes near you no matter how big or small it is.  Also, I swear to you that we don’t have to have sex right away if you seriously want to date me, but I am not a patient man so do not expect me to wait forever.’

“I swore to you that I would protect you and I am going to squash your fears one by one.  You my little frightened rabbit are going to quit running and hiding.  Now my Angel I have to feed so go take your shower and get dressed.”

 

Allen said as he shook his head in amusement.  Boxers to protect poor Zachary from bugs.  Allen did not know what he was going to do with his little Angel.

 

Benjamin took Allen to go feed noting Allen was uncomfortable with being naked in a room full of fully dressed vampires.  Benjamin being kind got a towel and wrapped it around Allen’s waist as he carried the young man out to go feed.

 

Allen after he fed asked to see Richard alone.  Richard was damn lucky right now that he was chained otherwise he would break his promise to Zachary and punch Richard knocking him out cold for what he did to his wounded Angel.  Really, the best thing for Zachary was to have Richard killed, but he would not kill him since Zachary would never forgive him if he did.

 

Richard came into the room smiling wondering what Allen want to talk to him about.  He was pleased that Allen wanted to talk to him since the young vampire had not really wanted to talk to any of them.

 

“What can I do for you Allen?”

 

Richard asked as Allen had him close the door before he went off on Richard.

 

“I am not going to beat around the bush with you.  You deserve to die for what you did to Zachary.  I should kill you, but I won’t.  I hate you for almost killing Zachary’s very rare soul and hurting my sweet Angel by making him fear love.  He is so afraid of being hurt because of what you did to him when he was a mere baby that he runs from everything.  Zachary is constantly running to survive and hiding the festering pain you left in him when you stole his precious virginity using him for his blood then telling him you loved him after abandoning him after he gave you the most precious gift that anyone can give to a person.  He gave up his beautiful innocence to you!  At age fifteen when he just barely turned fifteen!’

“Worst of all you went back for more only to abandon him again then paid him like a whore for your cruel actions!  You are still paying him for something he can never get back!  You still tell him you love him which is even worse as he knows you well enough to know you won’t accept him now that he is older!  For your crimes, even as a demon I would make you feel such pain you would beg me for mercy as Zachary is in constant pain because of what you did!’

“If it was not for the fact I came along now to save him, the next person who he did fall in love with that hurt him would kill him!  Angels, humans, and demons can die from heartache!  It is a painful horrible way to die!’

“His perfect beautiful soul has been crying in pain all these years bleeding out from a large open wound you left in him!  I don’t know how many boys you have wounded like this but what you did to Zachary is worse than any demon could do to a person!’

“Zachary has forgiven you because he is a true Angel in every sense, but I will never forgive you!  I am the enemy of anyone who harms my most precious Angel and you can sit there and cry and feel bad for what you have done!   I hope you realize the fiend you have been!’

“I highly suggest you start praying now as you deserve to go to hell for what you have done to the man I love!  There isn’t enough money in the world to make up for the crimes you committed!  You can stop sending him money since he is not your whore and you cannot make up for the evil you have done to him!’

“I am going to take care of Zachary from now on in every way possible since I do love him.  You have one chance to apologize for your actions and make amends with him to hopefully help heal the wounds you have inflicted upon him.  I am going to find every person who hurt my Angel and make them pay.  Every person who frightened my Zachary and pushed themselves on him, abandoning him will all pay as I plan on destroying all of you.’

“You may think you do love Zachary, but you don’t.  You may come off as charming, compassionate, and loving, but you are cruel.  I think you honestly do not know how much you have hurt those you claim to love.’

“For Zachary’s sake because he still loves you I won’t kill you.  However, I am going to make him love me making you see the true treasure you threw away.’

“I appreciate the clothing and things you have done for me.  I know you can be kind and generous making people love you.   However, I hate you.  When I am unchained and free again if you so much as breathe wrong around me I will hurt you so much that it will take months for you to heal.’

“You have one chance to make things right so you better think hard on how you are going to make up for hurting my Angel.  It is going to take a true miracle to heal his wounded soul and all the damage you left.”

 

Allen said angrily as Richard sobbed in agony.  He loved Zachary so much and did not know he had hurt him to the point he might die.  Richard did not know he had been such a heartless bastard to make Zachary live in constant pain and fear especially from love which he should embrace.

 

“I am so sorry.  I never intended to hurt anyone especially this badly.  If my death will save him, then please kill me as I do not want anyone to suffer because of me.”

 

Richard sobbed out as he realized he had been cruel to his boys whom he loved.  He never knew Zachary was only fifteen when he had taken his virginity.  Zachary had been in pain for too long.

 

“I don’t doubt you feel like shit for hurting people.  I am also aware you are a sensitive man who truly believes you love all of the boys you have hurt.   However, if I showed you the damage you have done to these boys you love you would be sick.  If you really want to save your soul, I suggest you start repenting now begging each person you have harmed for forgiveness starting with Zachary without excuses and never make false promises again.  Do not ever declare you love someone unless you plan on being with that person for the rest of your life.’

“Love is not just a word; it is the most important thing a person can feel for another person.  I love Zachary and I will kill you to save him if I must.  He saved my life and set me free.  I can never fully repay him for that gift so I am going to do the next best thing and fulfill my promises to him.  I am going to give him his deepest wish.  I am going to fight for him especially right now when he is incapable of fighting for himself.  Eventually I hope he sees me as his world since he is my world.”

 

Allen said and Richard nodded wanting to help.

 

“I will do anything for Zachary so I will apologize to him and help him in any way I can.  Just swear to me that you will always take care of him.  I want him to be happy.”

 

Richard said as he wished he could take back every pain that Zachary suffered.

 

“Don’t worry, I always take care of what is mine.  He will want for nothing and be able to continue to do what he loves.”

 

Allen stated as he then told Richard to leave and to seriously think about how he was going to apologize to Zachary.

 

Richard ran sobbing into Peter’s arms as Peter took his fiancé aside to find out what Allen had said that upset Richard so much.  He knew that Allen was a demon and demons could be cruel, but Richard had been so nice to Allen and really did care about him.

 

“Richard what is wrong?  What did he say to you?”

 

Peter asked angrily as he could literally feel Richard’s heart breaking and the agony he was feeling.

 

“Allen hates me!  I hurt Zachary really bad to the point he is in so much pain he might die!  I hurt all my boys Peter!  I stole their innocence and wounded them all in my ignorance!  I have treated them all like whores as I paid for their lives to make up for the love I could not give them!  I love them all, but I also used them!  I am truly evil and I am going to go to hell!”

 

Richard sobbed out and Peter frowned as Richard was an idiot, but he was far from evil.

 

“You are not evil and you are not going to hell Richard.  You were stupid and foolish, but you are trying to change.  You’ve contacted most of them and asked for their forgiveness.  You are making amends and you can’t change the past.  All you can do is apologize and try to do what is right.”

 

Peter said to his overly emotional boyfriend.

 

“But Allen said he might have to kill me to heal Zachary’s soul.  If it saves Zachary’s life, I will die for him.  I would die for any of my boys.”

 

Richard said and Peter fumed.

 

“He will not lay one harmful hand on you unless he wants me to kill him!  No one touches you without my permission!  No one is allowed to hurt you Richard!  I will set his ass straight!”

 

Peter roared as he was pissed and a little demon vampire was asking for pain.

 

Allen was laying waiting for Zachary to come back to the phone when Peter opened the door furious at Allen.  Peter grabbed Allen by his throat using his immense vampire strength to lift the man by his throat as he squeezed causing Allen excruciating pain.

 

“You piece of garbage!  You dare to threaten to kill my Richard!  You who raped babies, killed thousands of people, and all in the name of Lucifer!  You dare hurt a man whom has been nothing but kind to you and is one of the most loving men I know!  Unlike your kind, Richard never lied to any of his boys!  Ever!  He loved each one of them deeply and truly!  If he could have, he would have made every one of them his consorts!  Every damn one of them!’

“The majority of those innocent sweet boys asked for Richard to take their virginity!  They begged him to be their first!  Richard gave more of himself in that one act showing them more love than any other being!’

“You do not know him!  You do not know the lengths Richard went for each of those boys to insure they had a life that many would beg for!  He keeps in touch with each and every one of them protecting them with his life and giving them what he can as far as his love goes!  Richard dies every time the boys he loves suffer and he constantly apologizes for any pain he may cause to anyone!’

“Your hate is misplaced and if anyone harms my precious Richard I will bring hell to them!  Don’t you even think about harming one single hair on his head!  We welcomed you into our family knowing the scum you are and have given you a home!  Everyone here shows you love and the concept of family especially Richard!’

“You are in no position to judge anyone!  I feel for Zachary and we will help him, but if you so much as breathe wrong around my boyfriend I will do to you what your kind has done to vampires for centuries!  I have killed demons as I am ancient!  You do not want to fuck with me!’

“This is your one warning so take heed since it will be your last!  Do not hurt anyone in this family especially Richard! We will kill you and take your precious Zachary from you!  I do not have a consort and just to hurt you I will make your Angel mine!  And what is worse I will do it in front of you making you watch as I take away all his memories of you showing you how truly cruel I can be!”

 

Peter roared as he thrust the shaking former demon vampire back onto the bed.  At that Zachary who heard everything on the other line checked on Allen.

 

“Allen, are you ok?”

 

Zachary asked timidly as that vampire had been pissed.

 

“I am fine.  I just won’t piss him off again.”

 

Allen said as Peter was right about certain things and he did not want Zachary taken from him.

 

“I told you not to hurt Richard, Allen.  I asked Richard to take my virginity.  I wanted him to be my first.  He warned me that he would not stay and although he promised to always love me, he said he could not give more than he was able.  Richard promised to take care of me forever and he has.  He kept his promises and the time he did come back to me I wanted to be with him even if it was brief.  Richard told me how he was never lying to me and he was my family when I had none.  Richard is still my family Allen.’

“Richard never meant to cause me pain as he only wanted my happiness.  He is one of the gentlest caring people I know and I am not happy that you hurt him.  If you made him cry, I want you to apologize to him.  He does not deserve your hate. I do not hate him.  I could never hate him.  What I shared with him was special and one of my best memories.”

 

Allen nodded as he loved Zachary so he would do as he asked.

 

“I will do this for you because I love you, but I still can’t forgive him for wounding your soul.  I am going to try to repair the damage.  You have been in pain for a long-time Zachary.  Your soul’s pain affects you physically and mentally.  You truly have not been happy in a long time.  You have been lonely, scared, and abused.  What you can’t say to me in words is told to me in volumes as I speak to your soul.  I know every pain you have suffered and it hurts me as well as angers me that you have known so little joy in your life.’

“I want more than anything in this life to bring the joy back.  I made a promise to you and I am going to keep it.  You are going to experience true love Zachary.  A love that is forever where you don’t have to give anything you don’t want to, but where I will give you everything.  I am going to make you love me Zachary Belcher.  I am going to make dreams come true for you, give you everything you desire, make you my mate, and marry you.”

 

Zachary wanted all this to be true, but it was happening much too fast.

 

“You still don’t know me that well Allen.”

 

Zachary said and Allen smiled.

 

“I know everything about you.  I know your favorite animal is a giraffe because it is so tall it can see for miles.  I know you want to fly like a bird and that secretly you like the color pink.  You love cotton candy and you faked all your orgasms with females since you are gay.  You only dated those girls because you were lonely and afraid of being hurt by men.  I know all your secrets, your wishes, and desires.’

“I know you are frightened to death of being hurt.  I know once you love someone you will love them forever.  I know everything about you.’

“You also know me better than anyone.  You know my secrets.  I have not hidden anything from you.  I will be as patient as I can be, but you will be mine in all ways Zachary.  I am never letting you go because I love you too much to lose you.’

“You want someone to be possessive of you and to protect you.  I am everything you ever wanted, ask and I will do anything for you.  You have no idea how precious you are to me.  Since I wasn’t given a last name I am taking yours as proof of the fact I am all yours.”

 

Zachary feared all of this devotion.  It was too wonderful and too good to be true.  Zachary prayed he was not going to be hurt again since he wanted this so much.

 

“You want my last name?  But it is Belcher, not something more interesting.”

 

Zachary stated and Allen smiled.

 

“It is a perfect last name since it belongs to you.  I want to belong to you.  We will be Allen and Zachary Belcher.  We will be married by your last name and we will be very happy.   It is my greatest honor to take your last name as my own.”

 

Allen said and Zachary thought about this.

 

“But didn’t you have a last name when you were with Lia?”

 

Zachary asked and Allen frowned.

 

“I do not want to associate myself with that last name.  She chose it for me and I never wanted it.  I don’t accept it.  She was not my Master and I want a last name that carries good memories with it.  I want the last name of the man I love.  I am Allen Belcher from now on belonging to my one and only true love Zachary Belcher.”

 

Allen said and Zachary did want to give Allen good memories.

 

“Allen when you make me your consort I want to keep my memories if that is possible.  I don’t want to forget who I am.  Is it possible to do that?”

 

Zachary asked since he did want to still be himself once that was done.

 

“It is possible.  I was going to keep you from having your memories and reteach you the best parts of yourself to give you a whole new happier life without all the pain you suffered.  However, because I love you I will grant your wish.’

“The day I make you my consort you will be sleeping with me even if we do not have sex.  I wish to hold you in my arms forever and every night show you the love I have for you.  I am going to cherish you and make sure you know you are never alone.  Right now, I feel empty without you.  I have to hear your voice just to function and make it through this time without you.’

“I worry for you constantly being in that place filled with demons who might hurt you.  Whatever you do, don’t let Lia come near you.  Don’t let her touch you since she will hurt you just to hurt me.  I am trusting those with you to protect you for me since I cannot be there to do it myself.  I’ve put as many protective spells over you as I can.  Stay near Kirkland since he is powerful enough to destroy anyone who harms you.  Ignore the fact he seems small like a child because I guarantee he is the most powerful one of all of the group you are with.  Kirkland is ancient and knows things that even the demons around you do not know.  Kirkland knows things I do not even know.  Always stay near him and do not go off on your own for any reason.  If you need to go to the bathroom have Kirkland go with you.  Do not leave his side for any reason other than to sleep at night.  I put up wards in your room at night and when you sleep their barriers will keep you safe from any demon.’

“As soon as you are done there, I want you to leave and never go back to that city.  I only plan to go back there once to kill Lia once and for all.  She is pure evil, a squatter demon who is in reality a fat short ugly thing.  Don’t let her appearance fool you since she is not beautiful.  She is the worst fiend of all kind as squatter demons were never meant to leave hell.  They are gluttons and feed on souls until they are ready to explode.  They are even repulsive to demons which is saying much.  I do not even think Kirkland was aware he mated me to a squatter demon as Lia is very deceptive even to demons.  Squatter demons are not stupid, but they are the ugliest things even in hell.  You don’t want that thing touching you.’

“When you go to dinner with her for Gabrielle’s farewell party, do not eat the food that is given to you.  Order extremely light and wait to drink for five minutes after everyone else drinks.  Some demons are loyal to her and will harm you through food and drink.  Eat heavy before you go to dinner with her so you do not feel hungry later.’

“Eat at mostly human filled places.  You are a true Angel now so demons see you as the enemy.  I highly doubt you are tainted even with my contract being on your person.  Your purity frightens demons as you are a being of light and they are of darkness.  In battle light always wins.”

 

Allen said and Zachary was a bit afraid for himself.  He would follow Allen’s words and do what he said.

 

“I will do as you say Allen.  I trust you.”

 

Zachary said and Allen was glad of that.

 

The two talked for a while until Kirkland came to gather Zachary to go with them to disperse the next spell.  Also, it was breakfast time and Zachary was feeling hungry.  The group went to another one of the more human filled restaurants for breakfast talking about what the plans were for today and every day until they left.  Most of the week they were going to spend time enjoying the beach and relaxing.  The same pattern happened until the day Lia called to state since it was their last day in the city she wanted to take them all out to dinner to celebrate Gabrielle’s departure.

Chapter 9

 

Kirkland had removed all the spells at this point and everyone packed their bags preparing to leave directly after dinner.  Lia chose the restaurant for them to go to and had invited several of her and Gabrielle’s mutual friends to the party.  Kirkland told Zachary he was to sit by him the whole time and not let demons near him.  Kirkland explained the seating arrangements for them to insure a safe meeting.

 

Zachary did as Allen said and ate a big lunch and breakfast so he would not be hungry at dinner time.  When the group joined Lia, the other demons Lia did not pay much attention to anyone other than Gabrielle until towards the end of dinner when Lia noticed Zachary had a contract mark from Allen on his throat.  Deciding to give Allen a parting gift, Lia waited for dinner to end then stood up as she hugged Gabrielle then shook everyone’s hand until she got to Zachary.

 

“Is that Allen on the phone with you?”

 

Lia asked Zachary and Zachary nodded yes.

 

“Good.  Give him my regards.”

 

Lia said as before anyone could react Lia’s hand thrust forward as she shoved it deep into Zachary’s abdomen with her claws planning to kill him as she was going to rip out his soul.  Kirkland saw Zachary scream in horror and pain as Allen heard as well with him freaking out.

 

As Lia went to dig into Zachary, Kirkland grabbed that arm tearing it off from the socket then went absolutely crazy throwing Lia on the table as he started to rip every soul she had inside her out with her screaming in pain.

 

“You dare hurt my Allen!  I shall obliterate you!”

 

Kirkland roared as he tore at Lia who changed into her true form as all the demons around looked at her in disgust.  Gabrielle threw up since he had sex with that thing.   The stench of the squatter demon made even the demons around her feel ill as the fat ugly writhing mass was filled with souls with Kirkland sending his powers of light through the vile creature burning her alive as well as setting what seemed to be thousands of souls free.

 

William had Zachary in his arms as Sebastian went to work to stop the bleeding before Zachary died since the wound was deep.  Sebastian used his healing light to stop the bleeding and close the wound, but Zachary was still in a lot of pain and might still die.  Allen was screaming on the phone to have anyone tell him what was going on.  He could feel Zachary’s pain and his soul screaming in agony.

 

Soon Lia exploded as Kirkland destroyed her making her nonexistent. She would never come back as a demon or otherwise.  The demons stood away from Kirkland in fear of him.  Kirkland picked up the phone and told Allen what happened.  Allen was freaking out as this was his true love and he was dying.  Allen could feel it.

 

“Bring Zachary to me!  Bring him to me now!  I need to save him!”

 

Allen yelled on the phone sobbing as he felt Zachary’s agony.

 

“Allen, you cannot control yourself yet. You might kill him.”

 

Kirkland said and Allen got pissed.

 

“I can and will control myself!  I will save him if it is the last thing I do!  Tell William to call the god damn Archangels to unchain me and bring me my Zachary!”

 

Allen roared as Kirkland looked to William who knew he was not supposed to call the office yet, but this was an emergency.  He would take Zachary to Allen and have Allen plead for his beloved’s life hoping that Raphael would have mercy on him.  William wanted to save this Angel.

 

William created a portal to go to the farm in England as he walked inside the farm surprising all the vampires there.  Peter and Stephanie were about to protest in having the reaper here with an obviously wounded Angel.

 

“Where is Allen?”

 

William asked as he was going to take Zachary to him.

 

“He is in his bedroom, but you should not be here.  He is not ready to feed on humans yet.”

 

Stephanie said and William demanded to know what bedroom that was as time was of the essence.  Stephanie took William to the room where Allen’s eyes were that of a very hungry vampire, but Allen was aware of himself.  He had fed well and now he was going to ignore this hunger to save his Zachary.

 

“Bring him to me.”

 

Allen said as William laid Zachary next to Allen who was sobbing in pain as his beloved was going to die if he did not make him his consort now.

 

“Call your Archangel to set me free.  He can take my life after I save my true love if necessary, but I need to be free to save him.”

 

Allen begged William as William called Raphael.  Raphael noted William was calling him and wanted to ignore it since William knew better than to call him during his suspension, but something made him still pick up the phone since he also knew William would not break the rules unless it was important.

 

“What is it William?”

 

Raphael asked and William told him they had an emergency.  An Angel was dying and there was only one way to save him. He needed Raphael’s help.

 

“I have no knowledge of any Angel dying William.  This Angel you speak of is not meant to die for many years.”

 

Raphael said as it was not Zachary’s time.

 

“He is dying.  A squatter demon attacked him and in evaluating his soul he does not have much time left.”

 

William said and Raphael frowned.

 

“Squatter demons are not allowed to leave hell.  William, I want you to come back here for your death scythe and I will send with you as many reapers as I can spare to go search the area for other squatter demons.’

“Tell Allen I will be sending Charles to unchain him and not to worry as Zachary is not meant to die.   His suffering is temporary.  I know Allen is upset and wants to rush this, but he will have to wait.  I cannot leave to help him as I am terribly busy right now.  Let Allen know that Zachary’s fate is to live a full happy life and that there is nothing to fear.  It may seem like Zachary is dying, but he is not.  However, we will do what we can to end his pain since he is in severe pain.”

 

Raphael said and William nodded.

 

“I will tell him and I will be there as soon as I am done here.”

 

Raphael at that told William he would see him soon.

 

After William hung up the phone he told Allen the news as Allen panicked.

 

“Please can’t Archangel Raphael give you the spell to release me?   I beg of you to help me so that Zachary doesn’t feel pain any longer.  I will beg the Archangel for his mercy giving him my life in return to end my beloved’s pain.  His soul is screaming in agony and I have not been able to calm it.”

 

Allen said with tears in his eyes as he did not want Zachary to feel one more second of pain.

 

“Allen even if he gave me the spell, I could not undo the chains since an Archangel put these chains on you.  Only an Archangel can remove them and one is coming.  I promise Zachary will not suffer much longer since Charles is fast and will be hurrying to get here to save an Angel from suffering.   Have faith as help is coming.”

 

William said and Allen nodded although the tears still came at his beloved’s suffering.

Sebastian said and Calis sighed as really this was not an issue.

 

“We are not going back to that city again and if the vampires die in Jamaica that is not our problem.  The only reason we would come back to Jamaica is to take more pictures and that will be on a different beach away from the demon city.  It is just unfortunate that the particular beach we enjoyed when we first got here is connected to that city.’

“Sebastian, I am not for vampire rights, but you are not going to go traveling to collect body parts to heat our manor.  I don’t care if they do burn longer than wood, unless they are hostile then let them alone.  If they are hostile, kill as many as you want to.  Your war is with the demons so don’t add to it by bringing in a whole new species of nonhuman to hate our kind.”

Tears poured down Gabrielle’s cheeks at the thought of losing William and the deep seeded fear he had for him now as he dealt with those damn demons back in Jamaica.  Gabrielle soon gave up on sleep and sobbed softly to himself.  Love was so hard to deal with as Gabrielle before now had not been an emotional man, but now he was so sensitive it was killing him.  Gabrielle knew he would not sleep until William was home and safe.

Chapter 10

 

Allen did not have to wait long as Charles arrived with Mark going through the living room with Stephanie leading the way.  William had left needing to go deal with the demons and get his death scythe.  William knew this was going to be a very long night as there was no time to waste.

 

Charles came into the room with Peter and Stephanie not sure that letting Allen free was the best idea.  The once demon vampire was still unstable and could suddenly attack so Stephanie and Peter prepared to be there just in case instinct took over and Allen attacked the Archangels and Zachary.

 

Allen breathed a little easier as the Archangel was here as with tears in his eyes he begged Charles to unchain him so he could save his true love.  Charles told Stephanie and Peter that he could handle this situation without them so to please stay back so he could do his work.

 

“I am going to send more healing light into Zachary, Allen.  When I do, your soul will be affected by it as you have it wrapped around his so this may be a bit painful for you.  I can feel his soul screaming so I am going to ask you to set it free so it may feel the light first to heal most of the damage then you may calm it again as it should recognize you at that point.”

 

Charles said as Allen nodded as he did not care about pain, he only cared about his dear Zachary.  Unwrapping his soul from Zachary’s for a moment he allowed the Archangel to do his work as light filled Zachary healing him almost completely and closing the new wound to his soul.  The old wound would heal with time.

 

“All right Allen you may once again wrap your soul around his, but know it will hurt as your soul still has darkness in it, however it is no longer screaming in pain and Zachary is healed.  I will unwrap you from the chains in a moment.”

 

Charles said as he sat on the bed feeling somewhat exhausted.  Charles had not slept in weeks and although he was used to this, even an Archangel got tired.  Mark had gotten sleep, but poor Charles had been dealing with his little brother teaching Timothy how to be a proper mate to his infant mate which Michael for whatever reason, be it good humor or not, named his child Sunshine.  Timothy called Sunshine, Sunny for short.  The infant had thick blond hair the color of the sun like his Father and ice eyes.  Sunny had not chosen his gender yet, but was beautiful like his brothers.  Charles and Timothy’s Father Raphael had held Sunshine the first day he hatched from the egg after Timothy made the baby his mate with a mere touch.

“Please don’t be mad at them.  No one wanted me to get hurt and I am mostly fine now other than what you did to me.”

 

Zachary said as he wished he could move now, but nothing was working.  Zachary felt stiff and sore everywhere.

 

“For you I will try to control my temper around them, but they will not be trusted with you alone again.  I am going everywhere with you from now on.  I will protect you and if anyone tries to touch you without my permission I will hurt them.  No one is allowed to hurt you.”

 

Allen said and Zachary felt a bit cold as well.

 

“Can I have a blanket?  I am cold.”

“I wanted you happy too.  I always looked forward to your letters and phone calls.  I needed for nothing because of you and you gave me the kind of life I wanted.  I wanted to be a photographer and I am one of the best because you let me follow my dream.  I get to travel to neat places and do so much because of you.  Never apologize for anything.  You give so much and I never will expect more than what you can give.”

 

Zachary said and Richard hugged Zachary tightly in his arms.

 

“So, you don’t think of yourself as my whore because I gave you money?  I never wanted that if you felt that way.  I was not trying to pay for my mistakes with money I swear it, I just wanted to make you boys happy.  Since I could not be there for you physically like I wanted to so often, I did what I could as money means little to me if it is not making those I love happy.”

 

Richard cried out.  He felt so awful about hurting Zachary and everyone he ever hurt.  Richard did not want to hurt anyone.

 

“I never once saw myself as your whore.  Who would say such an awful thing?  I always knew you could never buy happiness, but when you have nothing money does help.  My happy thoughts were your letters, your calls, and those special times we shared.  You are the only family I had for years when everyone else left you were still around.  You have been there for me through everything and even if we could not be lovers you were still there for me.  I am so grateful for that.  You are my best friend Richard, thank you for that.”

 

Zachary said as he shivered with Richard this time trying to warm him.

 

“Thank you so much Zachary.  I will always love you my sweet boy.  I wish I could heal every pain you suffered, but you have Allen now so let him show you how to love again.  I will still be here for you as I never forget any of you.  You will always be special to me.’

“I do wish you would have told me your true age when we made love that night.  I would have waited for you to grow up a bit more.  I am afraid since now I know young men who are merely children still do not understand the needs of grown men.’

“You are a man now, but a child in so many ways still.  You grew up too fast in the wrong ways and part of that is my fault.  I never saw what I was doing to all of you.  I am so sorry I did not wait.”

 

Richard said as he kissed Zachary’s forehead looking down at the young man he did love and care for.  Allen was right, Zachary had been a mere baby and he stole away the most precious gift that one could give.

 

“Don’t do that.  Don’t apologize.  I wanted you to take my virginity and it was the most beautiful experience I ever had.  Don’t ruin it for me.  I was ready and I asked you to do it.  I am glad I did not wait and I will never regret not waiting.  I will never regret that night we shared.  If I regret anything in this life, it will not be that.’

“My only real heartache was you did not choose me to be your consort.  I would have given anything to be your consort.  Then I got older and I knew you would never choose me.  That did hurt, but you did explain things so I did understand.  I never wanted to die an old man with you looking at me looking beautiful and perfect as I aged.  Even though that was a pain I suffered I never was angry with you for not choosing me.”

 

Zachary said as tears of pain showed although he tried to not cry.  Richard gently wiped those tears away with pain on his own face for hurting one he loved so dearly.

 

“If I made every boy I loved my consort, there would be hundreds of vampires everywhere.  I also could not be your one and only.  Your heart would break even more if I made you my consort as you need someone to love you and only you.  I am only now trying to be loyal to Peter who has known me longer than anyone except Tora.  Even with Peter, I can’t be fully loyal only to him since I have consorts to think about. He can’t be fully loyal to me since eventually he will find a consort also.  Allen will give you what you need so no more tears my dear boy.  You get to be a consort to someone who loves you making you very lucky.’

“All this pain you have bottled up inside will soon leave you if you learn to love someone who truly loves you.  I’m not going anywhere for a long time so I will be here to help you and be there for you when you need me still, but you are now needed by another.  Allen wants you and needs you so you must think about your future.  You are going to have a long happy future with no more fear and no more pain.  Give your heart another chance to find love again Zachary and take that love greedily with no regrets.”

 

Richard kept wiping those tears away.

 

“Richard, I am afraid.  Will becoming a consort hurt?  I don’t want to be in pain anymore.  Please stay with me and be there for me when I wake.”

 

Zachary said and Richard smiled.

 

“I was a consort when I was made before my Master vampire died and I became a Master vampire myself.  I do not recall any pain and I do not remember my first weeks as a vampire other than I was very hungry for blood.  However, Stephen had a much more pleasant experience than I did as I was forced to kill humans.  Tora and I were from the same harem, both consorts from the same Master vampire.  There were several consorts around us, but we were the closest to each other as I consider Tora to be my elder brother.  We ran away together and eventually met up with Peter who introduced us to Stephanie our coven Master.  Peter became my best friend and Tora accepted him as a brother.’

“Peter and I have been a couple on and off again ever since his consort Clarisse died.  Peter has terrible luck with consorts so he may never choose one.  Peter is a natural born vampire and when you come to from your long sleep since that is what this feels like we will tell you our stories, the rules, and you will have a new family.  You will be an infant vampire for a long time constantly learning and growing as we teach you many things while you will be dependent on your Master vampire.  Since you are both very young vampires it is going to take time to become proficient in hunting and learning how to feed properly.’

“You will learn fun things to as you grow in your new lifestyle like the fact you can float not just walk.  You will also tap into new powers and everyone has a unique power that is all their own.  You are also extra special since you are an Angel so you may still have your wings like Allen does.  Usually the traits of the Master vampire also become their consort’s traits.’

“All those little lines on your face from being out in the sun so much will disappear and you will look years younger.  I can almost guarantee you will be ten years younger than you look now if not more so depending on the results of your change.’

“The only reason Stephen looks older is because he is so tall, but he was only eighteen when I made him my consort.  Alex was fifty-five when he was changed and now looks merely twenty if that.’

“You will find there are many benefits to being a vampire, but there are also drawbacks.  Fire can kill you and a match is dangerous to a vampire.  Even a small flame can kill a vampire and burns take months to heal.  There are hunters out there that do kill our kind.  We can be stabbed, break bones, and other terrible things can happen to our kind.’

“I have personally been shot, stabbed, set on fire, and almost defanged once.  I was luckily saved from these things, but not every vampire is that lucky.  There is more, but I will tell you more after your change.  Is there anything you would like to ask Stephen?  Your experience will be more like his and Johnathan’s if you want to know.”

 

Richard asked as he knew Zachary would have questions.

 

“Did it hurt you when you changed?  What was it like when you woke up and how long did it take you to wake?”

 

Zachary asked Stephen who came over to talk to Zachary.

 

“I don’t remember any pain which was good because I was dying from a brain tumor which did hurt.  According to Richard, Johnathan and I did not wake for about three hours.  When we did wake, we were starving for blood which I don’t recall since you won’t remember anything for two weeks straight. Then when you wake there are lessons constantly, stories, sometimes Stephanie brings the family album going over pictures and what we can do as a family.’

“You will be naked for most of your feeding since baby vampires are messy with their meals.  Usually you are wrapped in a towel for your first month here and for your first times feeding on humans.  It is a bit cold in the mornings, but we keep the farm pretty warm and always warm up the cars keeping them warm for when you are done feeding on humans when you learn that skill.’

“You have to look out for hunters after you leave here.  I was stabbed and it hurt pretty damn bad.  You can’t trust most humans as they are all possibly dangerous.  The best time to feed is at night and as a young vampire you have to feed daily.  After feeding on human blood you don’t want to go back to animal blood since it sucks in comparison.  Virgin blood is the best if you can get it.  Big people have a bad aftertaste so feed on healthy people if you can.  Trust me you will learn a lot after the change and they repeat things five billion times making you repeat them so that you don’t forget.’

“You have to do whatever your Master vampire tells you to do even if you don’t want to.  Your Master vampire determines how much freedom you get.  Sometimes your Master vampire is an idiot who tells you to stay put in one space, so you have to do so then yells at you because you are in his way telling you to move or they want their space since you are crowding them by just breathing. So, you give them their space only for them to come look for you wondering where the hell you went and why you left them.’

“Also, hope your Master vampire does not suddenly burst into tears over stupid little things like not knowing what color of shirt to buy or forgetting where they parked the car.  Hope they don’t change their mind five hundred times in one day then make a decision finally only to forget what the crap they were going to do.’

“I may love Richard, but living with him is a nightmare some days.  Be hopeful that Allen is not nearly as neurotic, bipolar, insane, and emotional as Richard.  I am just glad I am not the only one who has to deal with him.”

 

Stephen said and Richard looked insulted.

 

“I am not that bad.”

 

Richard said and Peter lifted an eyebrow to that.

 

“You are that bad Richard, but we don’t have time to be arguing as we need to get this done.  Now Zachary are there any more questions?”

 

Peter asked and Richard frowned since he did not think he was that bad.

 

“Yes, aren’t any of you afraid of bugs?  Allen, I don’t want to be naked when I feed so can you please make sure I have boxers on at all times?”

 

Zachary asked and Allen chuckled with Peter plus the others wondering what this was about.

 

“Yes, you will wear boxers even if I have to create enough money for you to have new ones every day Zachary.  I swear to you no bug is going to crawl on you or in you.”

 

Allen said with a smile as Zachary blushed a bit.

 

“Bugs don’t bother vampires since we are unnatural and don’t have the smells humans do nor can mosquitoes feed on us.  You don’t need to worry about bugs Zachary.”

 

Peter said and Zachary breathed a bit better.

 

“Richard, will you hold my hand through this and be there when I wake?  I’m still a little frightened.”

 

Zachary asked and Richard nodded yes, he would.

 

“I will do so sweet boy although there is nothing to fear.”

 

Richard said as he held that hand and kissed it.  Richard nodded to Allen that it was time.  Allen turned Zachary’s head to face him.

 

“Zachary, I am going to make you my consort now.   Remember I love you and I will be here for you when you wake.”

 

Allen said as he kissed those lips and caressed that beautiful face he loved.

 

“Close your eyes Zachary and think of good things.  We will be here for you when you wake.”

 

Richard said as Zachary closed his eyes then Allen kissed him one more time before moving to his neck using a spell to make this more pleasant as he bit deep into Zachary’s jugular.

 

“Remember Allen to drink every drop of blood from Zachary.”

 

Stephanie said as soon Zachary started to fade until he gasped for breath and finally breathed no more.  Zachary’s soul fluttered and weakened with the last blood kiss as part of Zachary was dying now.  Allen finally pulled back then watched his beloved’s changes.

 

That suntanned skin took on a lighter hue as all lines and wrinkles faded giving Zachary a golden color to his skin.  Allen watched as Zachary became younger before his eyes and his skin was golden now which was quite beautiful with a glow to it.

 

“He is taking to the change well.  Peter let’s get the wrappings for Zachary.  Mark, it is time for you to take Charles and go now.  Zachary will not be safe to be around after his change.”

 

Stephanie said as the two of them left the room to go get the consort wrappings for the initial first feeding.  They would have to be careful of Zachary’s wings as he still had them, but so far, the vampire Angel was changing at the proper rate.

 

Mark lifted Charles into his arms and left flying back to heaven with his mate as Charles slept peacefully in his arms.  Charles did not even stir from his rest when they reached the colder parts of the atmosphere towards the portal that would take them to heaven.

 

Allen laid his head-on Zachary’s chest listening to that heart slowly begin to stop beating as Allen wrapped his soul once again around Zachary’s ignoring the pain as his goal was to combine them to become true mates.  Zachary’s soul was soon enveloped by Allen’s and once Zachary finally died at Stephanie’s announcement after they had wrapped Zachary tightly in these white wrappings Allen cried as Zachary’s soul almost faded away.  Zachary was truly dead and now it was just a waiting game as the vampire powers changed everything within Zachary’s body.

 

“Do not fret so Allen, Zachary will be alive again soon.  His body is just taking a little longer than most to adjust since the new blood has to fill his wings and each feather as well.  Soon he will seem to breathe again as we really don’t need to breathe although we do anyway.  In about ten minutes his heart should start beating again.  You marked him enough that he will survive the change.”

 

Stephanie said although Allen was having a hard time with this since Zachary’s soul was so weak it was almost fading.  Zachary’s soul was not in pain, but it was crying since its host was almost disconnected to it so it was very cold.  All of Zachary’s warmth was temporarily gone.

 

“His soul is weeping.  It is so sad and lost right now.  It is confused as no reaper has come for it and it is cold.  My soul is the only warmth it has.  It has been so lonely for so long dealing with heartache and pain.  The only person Zachary has loved had hurt him and for fifteen years this perfect rare soul has been bleeding in pain.  Zachary won’t hurt anyone even if they hurt him.  He will never say what his soul tells me so I weep for him.  I weep for all the lonely nights he had, the false hopes of possible love returned, the many nights Zachary cried himself to sleep, and the constant living in fear.  Zachary gives so much of himself to those he cares about and gets very little in return.  This emotional pain is sheer torture and wounds much deeper than anything physical.’

“Any demon who felt this soul’s pain would weep for it.  Any person with half a heart would want to end this pain.  Demons are not completely heartless creatures and now that I am part Angel I feel more than before.  Demons and Angels have empathic powers some feeling more than others.  I am one of the strongest empaths of my kind.  However, I have never truly loved a soul or a person.  I hated all my Masters and their dirty souls.  Zachary has a pure soul, the perfect soul one finds once in a lifetime and it is damaged.  I pray my love is enough to heal it and Zachary.”

 

Allen said as tears poured down his face as it seemed like hours went by before the murmur of a heartbeat began.  Air began to fill those lungs and slowly Zachary’s soul flared to life again.  Allen knew only one thing would work to combine their souls so he hoped Zachary would come to love him.  Warmth once again filled Zachary and his soul was glowing in its pure light.  It was so beautiful.

 

It took some time, but Allen stayed lying against that chest listening to a strong heartbeat.  Zachary looked ten years younger as predicted and he was glowing not just his soul.  It was a beautiful sight for Allen who held his beloved until Peter came back in the room with a pair of boxers for Allen to wear to take Zachary out to feed.

 

“You might want to put these on.  Other than feeding you can wear clothing now Allen.”

 

Peter said and Allen put them on under the blankets.

 

“Zachary will wake soon so Richard you know the drill.  Peter have Demetri help you get a cow ready for Zachary.  Allen when Zachary wakes he will be very hungry and very wiggly so let Richard help you carry him.  Allen also you will have to make sure Zachary doesn’t fly away so I hope you have a spell or something for those wings.”

 

Stephanie said and Allen nodded as he let his own wings out just in case Zachary tried to fly away.

 

When Zachary finally opened his eyes, they were the eyes of a very hungry vampire.  Zachary fought his bindings, but they were too tight as Peter made sure they were snug.  Allen tried to make Zachary’s wings disappear, but the vampire blood kept making them reappear trapped in the bindings as Zachary wiggled trying to get free to the blood that was calling him.

 

“Soon my love you will get what you need.”

 

Allen said to the struggling young vampire as he lifted Zachary into his arms.  Richard went to help but Allen told him simply to get the door since a demon Angel vampire was more than powerful enough to handle a little vampire Angel.

 

Taking Zachary outside Allen waited as Richard got the knife.  The vampires wanted Allen to put Zachary on the ground so he was kneeling, but instead Allen bent down on one knee holding Zachary above the ground as he nodded for Richard to get things started.

 

As the blood flowed down into Zachary’s mouth he drank until he finally burst free from the wrappings and grasped the head of the cow biting deep into its neck literally crushing its head in the process as his wings flapped with Allen holding him on his knee with his arms firmly around Zachary’s waist to keep him from flying away.

 

Zachary finished with that cow finally crushing its head so badly it damn near exploded making a mess everywhere.  Zachary was given three cows to feed his appetite ripping off the head of the second one and breaking the neck of the third one.  Richard finished off the blood of the third cow before helping to throw the beasts into the cart.

 

Both Allen and Zachary were a mess with blood all over them from Zachary’s messy feeding, but Allen ignored the mess and carried Zachary back inside with Richard opening the doors grabbing two pairs of clean boxers for the two baby vampires.

 

“Richard, I am going to give you money to go buy Zachary enough boxers and clothes for his time here.  I am also going to pay you back for my clothes, just let me take a shower first.”

 

Allen said and Richard frowned.

 

“I don’t want to take your money.  The clothing and things are part of the coven’s funding for new vampires.  If you want to put the money towards the funding that is fine, but I like shopping and we have millions of dollars stored away for this farm, the cattle here, and for anything else you might need.  You are our family and we take care of family.”

 

Richard said as he left the boxers on the end of the bed.

 

“Fine. I will give the coven enough money to pay for our care.  I want to take care of Zachary.  I am also going to pay you back for all the years you gave him money.  I do apologize for hurting you, but that money you give him is partially what kept the wound open on his soul.  Rather than having you, he had money to support him and money is cold with little warmth.  It is a bandaid for a wound that keeps reopening every time a check comes rather than a body with warmth and love.  That money is a reminder of what he will never have.’

“Money is nothing to me as it means very little.  I want to give Zachary everything he has ever wanted and dreamed of.  I am going to be the one to make every wish he has had come true.  I am going to give him the warmth he desires and the love he needs.  I will provide him with everything he ever needed in life and needs in the future forever.’

“If you want to give Zachary gifts as a family member that is fine, but do not send him any more money.  I can make money for him to pay for whatever he wants whenever he wants.  I can give him more than you can.”

 

Allen said and Richard nodded in agreement before leaving the room.  Richard would put all the money given to him into the coven’s funds.

 

Closing the door, Allen took Zachary to the bathroom setting him down and turning on the water checking the temperature for their short shower since once they washed off the blood Allen wanted to take a bath with Zachary.  Allen knew at this point he would have to do everything for Zachary since he was in the infant stage where he did only what his Master vampire told him to do unable to speak or recall most of anything for two whole weeks.

 

Taking off his boxers first Allen went over to Zachary who simply stood where Allen had left him.  Taking off Zachary’s boxers Allen licked his lips at the sight before him.  Zachary was beautiful naked and perfect everywhere.  The gold of his skin had transferred all over his body when he was made.  Allen had to walk around Zachary for a moment to see everything for himself.

 

If anyone should have been a model it should be Zachary.  It was just he was kind of short.  Still, physically Zachary was beautiful.  Zachary had long muscular legs, a tight firm ass, a rock-solid chest with a small six pack he had been building that tapered to a narrow waist, strong muscular arms, and the face of an Angel.  Zachary even had pretty narrow rather small feet.  Zachary had long fingers on average sized hands.  Zachary’s cock was perfect sized to Allen’s eyes, not small, but not huge either. Allen suddenly noticed his beloved’s distress and stopped what he was doing.  It was obviously too soon for the young vampire to know what was going on and Allen wanted his precious consort to not be afraid of him.

 

“I’m sorry Zachary.  I wish you could understand me better now, but we won’t do this until you are ready.  I love you and I can wait.”

 

Allen said to his beloved as he stood up and kissed Zachary on the lips then hugged his little love slowly getting Zachary to calm down and feel safe again.  Allen washed up and turned off the water then dried off Zachary first then dried himself.  Taking his beloved to the bedroom Allen slipped on Zachary’s boxers then put on his own grabbing a blanket wrapping his sweet Angel into it then carrying Zachary to the living area where he found a chair and sat with Zachary on his lap.

 

Zachary leaned into Allen finding comfort in his Master vampire and safety as he rested.  Allen made Zachary as comfortable as possible wrapping his arms around Zachary and leaning his head against his shoulder.

 

Bobby went nuts with the camera taking pictures of the two Angel vampires and of everyone else including the four new coven members.  Stephanie tried to get the man to calm down with this major close up fetish he had now of getting the camera practically in the faces of the people he was taking photos of, but Bobby was saying he was trying something new going for a more artistic look although he did take a few from a distance.  Bobby could not wait for Zachary to come to as he loved photography and wanted to find out the trade secrets to great photography from an actual professional photographer.

 

Richard who normally was all over the new vampires was unusually quiet and seemed a bit depressed.  Peter tried to make his sweet lover smile, but Richard did not feel much like smiling.  Richard knew Allen hated him and that knowledge made Richard very sad.  Peter finally went over to Allen to have a talk with him.  Richard normally was a very happy person and to see Richard so miserable drove Peter insane since Richard was never this quiet unless he wanted to be left alone in which he would simply go hide in his room for a while to hang out on his computer.  Stephen and Johnathan were even concerned since Richard was not like this normally.

 

“Allen, do you still hate Richard?”

 

Peter finally asked not beating around the bush.

 

“Not really anymore although I don’t like what he did to Zachary.  I hate what he did, but I don’t think he meant to hurt anyone intentionally.  I know he wants to still pay for Zachary’s livelihood, but unfortunately those checks are what is partially keeping the wound open in Zachary’s soul.  I told him he could buy gifts and such for Zachary, but to stop sending him money.’

“Besides, Zachary is my responsibility now and I want to pay for everything for him.  I also want to pay Richard back for all the money he sent Zachary as I know Zachary would want to do that himself.  It is not meant as an insult to Richard, it is just best for Zachary to be dependent on me from now on.’

“Money is not going to make up for the love that Richard can’t give Zachary.  I know he wants Zachary happy so the best thing he can do in that is be a friend or like Zachary said, a family member to Zachary. Richard also needs to help get Zachary to let go of the romantic love he has for him.’

“Richard is a nice man with a good heart, but he has been rather foolish and making all these people fall in love with him is not a good thing.  Demons don’t like it when souls are damaged although they will still feed on one that is, but they will try to repair the damage by killing whatever caused it.  Richard’s life could be in danger from demons if any of his former lovers made contracts with them.  Demons also will torture him to make one’s wishes come true if he refuses to do what they say if the contract states that the person in question wants Richard to make them his consort.’

“There are some things I like about Richard now that I have gotten to know him a bit better, but I also can’t forgive him for damaging Zachary’s soul.  If I had damaged Richard’s soul, you would feel the same way.  Maybe love is irrational, but I have always protected what is mine and Zachary is mine.  I have to protect him even from Richard if necessary.”

 

Allen said and Peter understood although he did want Allen to understand his side as well.

 

“Well, Richard normally would be all over you to help you through this new life and to see him so unhappy disturbs most of us.  Richard is normally a very happy person, a bit eccentric and insane, but for the most part a very cheerful man.  To see him so miserable makes me want to kill whatever is doing this to him.’

“I want you to at least tell Richard you don’t hate him anymore.  I do understand your point of view and as for demons if they try to come after Richard they will have to go through me first and I am powerful enough to cause them some serious damage if they try.’

“Also, I know you tried to instigate sexual relations with Zachary at this stage.  I am going to tell you now that what you did is akin to abusing Zachary.  Mentally he does not understand what you are doing although he would not stop you since you are his Master vampire.  I don’t approve of abuse or rape in any form.  Zachary is merely a baby right now and will be for some time.  I suggest you remember that since if you try that crap again while he is in this stage I will kill you.’

“Zachary’s mind is only on two things, being with you to be safe and feeding.  If he feels unsafe for any reason that is a serious problem.  By doing what you did you took him out of his safety zone and could have damaged his trust in you.  For two weeks, you have to be almost a parent to your consort as they are like a child unable to do anything without you to guide them.  Stephanie and I both share the same point of view concerning consorts.  She asked me to speak to you about this.’

“Zachary is fragile so treat him like glass since he can break if you are not careful.  If he breaks, Stephanie and I will end you.  This is your first warning, there will not be another.”

 

Peter said and Allen sighed since he had not tried to hurt Zachary, but was aware enough to stop before things had gone too far.  He was not a child who did not understand these things.

 

“I personally don’t like starting things off with new coven members by scolding them constantly.  We want you to feel welcome.  I have assigned myself to watch over you personally and when I cannot Stephanie will be your guide.  Benjamin also will help you with advice and lessons as we believe in mentoring new vampires in all things so that they can survive in this cruel world.’

“Benjamin wanted to punish you in his way for your indiscretion, but I told him I would talk to you instead.  You have three ancient vampires looking out for both of your wellbeing so I suggest you take our advice and follow the rules to the letter.’

“Also, tomorrow night for a treat the humans who take the cattle we feed on are going to bring us a ship load of pigs.  Pig blood is closer to human blood so I think you will enjoy this as will Zachary.  We planned to have a pen built, but most of this land is cattle country so we mostly have cattle to feed on.  There will be enough pig blood to fill us up for two days.  The only pigs we are not feeding on are the sows who are due soon with piglets.  The piglets will be born in less than a month’s time so we will have fresh young pig blood to feed on a few weeks after they are born.  Piglet blood is sweeter than regular pig blood so hopefully you both will enjoy this.”

 

Peter said and Allen nodded as he ran his fingers thought Zachary’s hair.  Peter went over to Richard and told him that Allen did not hate him so not to fret over that anymore.  Richard still was depressed, but felt a bit better now.

 

Richard asked Allen if there was anything he needed and Allen told him there was not anything.  However, Allen did say he was going to pay Richard back tomorrow for the clothing and give him the money to buy Zachary’s things.  Richard wanted to buy both Allen and Zachary a gift, but that would have to wait until Zachary came to from this infant stage since he wanted to see Zachary’s face when he gave it to him.

“You’ll still be dealing with death though and I thought you wanted to try a regular job.”

“If I have to deal with death again, I want to do it on my terms is all.  I wish to become a self-made man not always under the thumb of the Grim Reaper.  I want more freedom and perhaps if I enjoy the job I might consider retirement from the corporate jobs for a while.  I can order people what they like as far as caskets go and urns.   I could set it up more like a mortuary with a small chapel attached for funeral services.  I would buy an antique horse drawn hearse and two black limousines for funerals.  Sebastian has already talked about getting horses for a carriage to pull Calis around in so we could get enough horses for this endeavor.”

Here are some interesting facts about me:

 

I am a disabled American Navy Veteran.  I was diagnosed with multiple-personality disorder and thus I have days where it is difficult to write or think with the voices in my head.  I chose to become a writer because I have been writing stories and poems my whole life. 

 

I attended school at Cottonwood High School and South High School in Utah, American Intercontinental University Online, Corning Community College, and the College of Southern Nevada. I am currently going to Grand Canyon University for my degree in English and Professional Writing so I eventually can become an editor and writing coach of LGBTQ literature.

 

What I liked most about grade school and some college classes was the art and writing classes.  I have been a writer since age 5 and throughout the years have tried to improve my writing skills. I found the most challenging classes to be my math courses since I am not that great at math.  I also have trouble sometimes with tests.  I had my first poem published at age 5 and my only regret is I do not have a copy of that poem, however my Mother has a copy of it in her cedar chest on a school newsletter from Truman Elementary.  I have won poetry contests and when my stories were fan fiction I received over 300 reviews for more than one story, however I am slowly deleting these stories to make them into original pieces of work.

 

I worked many places throughout my lifetime, but my service in the U.S. Navy Reserves, and U.S. Navy in active duty were the most rewarding.

 

In my spare time, I write my stories and edit them and I also enjoy reading gay romance novels in the M/M genre mainly for research purposes.  I spend most of my time reading or writing so I rarely watch movies, however when I do I like comedies and fantasy the most.

 

I have traveled the entire United States and parts of Canada with both the Navy and the Wesley Bell Ringers, a Methodist church group that performed all over the United States and Canada.  My favorite place was New Orleans, Louisiana which someday I hope to buy a home there to live permanently in the Garden District.

 

I have lived in various locations traveling across the United States.  The places I have lived are Elmira, NY, China Lake, CA, Salt Lake City, Murray, Taylorsville, West Valley, Granger, and Tooele, UT. 

 

I was born in Granger, UT, but my parents had moved to Colorado for a short time so I also lived there, however I do not recall it as most of my childhood has been forgotten due to the sexual, physical, emotional, and verbal abuse I suffered from my Father from age 2 to age 13.  I consider myself a survivor and no longer a victim.  I am also divorced and happily single choosing to be celibate since the divorce and will be so for the rest of my life because of my past.  I do not miss physical intimacy, but I do love writing about it and use visuals for references.

 

I now live in Mesquite, Nevada, but I had also lived in Las Vegas, NV for a short time.  I do not miss the traffic in Vegas although most of my doctors are there which is 80 miles away from where I live now.

 

My Mother works at the Hospital here in Mesquite and we bought a house together.  My son and niece live with us.  My son works for Walmart and my niece works for Smith’s Food and Drug.  We have three pets, my cat Sebastian, my Mom’s cat Gizmo, and my niece’s puppy Cali.  I do love dogs and all animals despite what is written. 

 

I am obtaining my degree to become a better writer working on improving my grammar skills.  I thought about going into digital art since I am an artist so that I could do my own book covers, but I see more opportunities with a bachelor’s in English than in art although I could be wrong.

 

I was attending Grand Canyon University since they offered a degree in English and professional writing although I am not fond of the Christian atmosphere possibly looking to change schools to SNHU (Southern New Hampshire University) to gain my degree in English and Fiction.  I am improving myself so I can finish my GI Bill benefits for school.  I have looked into the colleges in Nevada and was unable to find the degree program I wanted locally so I figured I would try online studies.

 

I currently am working on my diploma in Digital Art and some Graphic Art training at the Art Institutes Online.  So far, it has been a challenge.  I look forward to what the future holds since my goal is to make my own book covers and perhaps branch out making book covers for other writers.
