Gabrielle’s staff members were going to have to learn new duties as Christian and Sebastian took care of Underwood Estates themselves being the butlers to the Estate so Nigel would have to learn another skill.  However, as far as answering doors they may have Nigel do that much since Sebastian did tire of that and felt Nigel could possibly take over walking the dogs since Sebastian absolutely hated the mutts.

 

Harrison and Gregory would oversee the maintenance and care for the vehicles as well as drive everyone about to various locations.  Really, Harrison and Gregory’s jobs would remain the same as before.   It was Nigel that Sebastian worried about since the ancient demon was used to being a butler and they did not need three butlers for Underwood Estates.

 

As everyone slept except for Kirkland and Leon, Harrison played classical music for everyone as Kirkland and Leon watched the rain through the windows glad they avoided that mess as it was still pouring out.

 

“The rain will be done with by the time we get back to the city.”

 

Harrison said to Kirkland and Leon.

 

“That will be good since we have plans on the beach.”

 

Kirkland said to the driver.

 

“I am glad you folks are taking Gabrielle away from this place.  Lia has hurt him enough and he deserves better than waiting for Lucifer to take his soul.  I know he is an Angel now.  I was well aware of it and I am happy for him.  I hope the same fate befalls me and my mate as I do have strong feelings for Gregory bordering along the lines of love.  He is my better half and we have been mated for only a few years now.’

“Gabrielle was the Angel of this city.  Everyone thought he would turn into one of you.  We all have been waiting for it.  His secret is safe with us.  I am surprised Lia did not see it.  Gabrielle is glowing now as only Angels’ glow.  I would not have believed he fell for a grim reaper especially such a seemingly cold one, but stranger things have happened.”

 

Harrison stated and Kirkland was a little worried now.

 

“How many others know of his condition?”

 

Kirkland asked and Harrison smiled.

 

“Anyone who sees the glow.  Don’t worry, like I said there are more demons here who love him even if they do not follow him to England.  He is well protected and you with him protects you.  Even Lia’s friends love Gabrielle.  Allen was well liked by everyone, but Gabrielle was loved.  Those left behind will truly miss him.  More will be coming to England than the few he has called as word has spread, others are just waiting for money to come in since they don’t have the funds to move yet.  I hope your England is ready for a movement of great proportions as there are going to be demon Angels everywhere since we were all rejected by hell, heaven, and earth.  We need a true leader who does care for us.”

 

Harrison said and Kirkland wondered if this was true.

 

“How do you know they will follow us?  I mean I have not trained this many in a long time and as a General in this infantile form I don’t know if they will truly follow my lead.”

 

Kirkland asked and Harrison chuckled.

 

“All you have to do is get Gabrielle to follow you.  They will follow him and anyone who leads him.  However, if anyone hurts Gabrielle, then they will pray that they survive our wrath.  Over half the population of that city is getting ready to leave to go to England buying up properties everywhere in England to join us.  Others will soon follow and Lia will be left with the few who decide to stay finding herself quite alone which is more than she deserves.”

 

Harrison said as he hated that woman.

 

“Do you think she will let the others leave?”

 

Kirkland asked a bit worried about those left behind.

 

“If they have to, they will sneak away.  Humans will take over that population and she will be content again as there will be plenty of souls for her plus plenty of blood for the vampires.  That stretch of land is popular for retirees and humans have looked at the homes unable to buy because of the demons taking over the area.  After everyone leaves, property values will drop to affordable levels for everyone to live.  The economy will be hurt for a little while, but it will soon pick up again plus Lucifer will send more of his unwanted to the area so it isn’t like demons will not exist in that area.  It will fill up again, but hopefully with more humans than demons.”

 

Harrison said knowing others would continue to come to that little city.  It was still Lucifer’s playground.

 

“I hope that the demons know they are going to have to consolidate into housing in England.  We cannot have all the properties bought up and taken over by demons plus have humans killed to make room for them.  Some humans are under our protection.”

 

Kirkland said and Harrison nodded.

 

“We understand that.  Those humans who are followed by Angels and reapers will be fine.  We will follow the rules for our lifestyle.  We still want peace.  What we are hoping for though is to drive out the younger demons who do not wish to change and send them packing back to Lucifer.  Most of us have picked our side and it is with Gabrielle to be whatever he is.  If you are his General, then you will have your army.”

 

Harrison stated and Kirkland felt better with this news.

 

“We hope to drive demons away also in other areas.  Our goal is expansion or extermination.  Young Sebastian and Christian are going to be training to become Officer Angels with my help.  I am already an Officer as I trained a long time ago for this position.  I am General Kirkland Dravenknight and I almost beat the Archangel Michael in battle myself with no help.  I plan to defeat Lucifer and watch him fall.  He rejected me as well and he will regret that decision.  What is your name young man?”

 

Kirkland asked since Harrison did not doubt that Kirkland was once a powerful demon because he had heard of Kirkland before.

 

“I am Harrison and the driver of the rolls is my mate Gregory.  Nigel is Gabrielle’s personal butler and bodyguard.  Gabrielle goes nowhere without Nigel.”

 

Harrison said and Kirkland nodded at that.

 

“Nigel will be looking at other duties since Sebastian and Christian do everything at the Estates as they are the butlers there plus everything else.  Bodyguards, housekeepers, and cooks refusing any help from outsiders.  Christian and Sebastian are quite amusing as Christian is very tall for a former demon and rarely smiles.  Sebastian always smiles unless he is in trouble which he is almost constantly in trouble with tiny Calis.’

“Calis rules the household.  Whatever Calis says is law in that house for everyone.  Even as a General, I do not dare contradict Calis as he is intelligent, can be downright cruel, and in his own way he is evil.  He looks tiny and frail, but the boy has power, a lot of power.’

“Sebastian is completely devoted to Calis and will kill anyone who looks at the boy wrong.  Most likely Sebastian will surpass me in speed and skill.  Christian already matches me in skill, but his speed needs work.  Together the two of them are a force to be reckoned with.  With young William Reynolds at their side, the three are almost unstoppable.  Demons in England fear Sebastian.  All one or two of the demons did was kill his cat and he won’t forgive them for that so he hunts them down and slaughters them.’

“Also, while you are at the house do not mention cats or Sebastian won’t shut up about them.  He is obsessed with felines.  On occasion, he gets clumsy around the house because he is busy staring at his cats.  Sebastian is a cat hoarder and has sixteen of the things running about planning on breeding more.’

“Also, you will have to get used to our vampire family members.  Richard is eccentric and a complete nutcase.  He is also the gayest man I know.  Kingsly is also a nutcase and he is an extremely emotional psychotic woman.  Do not piss him off.  He has a chainsaw as a death scythe and he isn’t afraid to use it.’

“Almost everyone else in the house is fairly normal.  Drama happens daily so you will get used to that and sometimes it gets noisy as young Davon has his friends come by for his robot battles.  The children are all pleasant and well behaved.  The family is fairly normal but they do have to deal with Richard and Kingsly so not too normal.”

 

Kirkland said and Harrison laughed since that sounded like paradise compared to waiting to die for Lucifer.

 

“It sounds fun and entertaining.  I like gay men especially eccentric ones.  I am sure this Richard thinks he is the most fabulous man in the universe, but that is ok.”

 

Harrison said and Kirkland snorted.

 

“Richard is the most fabulous man in the universe.  He makes Elton John look straight and we know Elton John is gay.”

“Richard is not that bad Kirkland.  At least he doesn’t dress ridiculously and he is nice.  I like Richard so cut him some slack.”

 

Kirkland had to reluctantly agree with Leon.

Kirkland said and Leon decided to ignore Kirkland.

 

“So, General how old are you really since you look to be only a child?”

 

Harrison asked since he was curious.

“He was stacked with a full six pack oiled down abdominal muscles and firm chest with muscular legs and arms.  He wasn’t like a body builder, but he was big and strong.  Somewhat intimidating and he made me very nervous which is not good in my profession.”

 

Zachary said and Allen smirked as that image of Zachary being looked at like he was a piece of meat turned Allen on.  Allen knew he wasn’t much taller than Zachary, but Zachary was indeed somewhat short for a man his age.

Zachary said and Allen liked this Daniel guy since it reminded him of himself.

 

“So, what happened next?”

 

Allen asked and Zachary continued.

 

“Well, after the shoot everyone was getting cleaned up and I was checking my film as I had a few shots left, so I asked if I could use up my film by taking shots of Daniel when he dressed.  The director said that was fine, but he was only paying for the time used for the actual cover shoot.  I was afraid of asking Daniel to do the photos so the director said he would ask him as he went to go get Daniel who agreed to do it, but for a price.  He wanted to take me out to dinner.  It wasn’t a request either, he demanded to take me out to dinner as apparently, he planned on this anyway even if I would have tried to refuse him.’

“Since it was my studio the shots were being taken at, I already had the lighting set up, so I just put a round stool down in the center after he came out and I adjusted the light to finish my film.  He had that same look in his eyes as I took the photos of him finishing the film as I thanked him for his time.  After I put my camera down, he was practically on top of me grabbing my arm and taking me out to his car as everyone else had left.  He told me to get in and it was a nice car.  It was some foreign sports model that had to cost a fortune.’

“We went to dinner that night and it was nice.  He tried to get me drunk, but I don’t drink that much anyway and never on a first date.  He wanted to take me home that night with him, but I told him I wanted to take things slow.  Daniel respected that and said he wanted to get to know me better as well however he was not ready for a full commitment yet.  The yet in that statement gave me hope that he did want to be committed.’

“He brought me home and kissed me telling me he wanted to see me again soon.  Little did I know it was going to be the next day.  I was getting ready to do another shoot with a bikini model this time and she was to arrive at noon.  Daniel showed up at ten am with a dozen roses asking if I was free that night.  Apparently, he lived in town and had another job besides his modeling career as a successful businessman who worked in the travel industry.  I thanked him for the roses and was about to put them in a vase when he ended up right behind me putting his arms around me and said I was sweet and that I smelled nice.  It felt good so I let him hold me for a minute before getting the vase and putting water in it.  I then put the roses in the water and he told me I was more beautiful than the roses.  I blushed and told him thank you for the compliment.  He liked that I was shy.’

“We talked for a while before I had to get to work and we made plans to go out to dinner as it would be his treat again.  I wasn’t one to turn down free food so I agreed to the date.  I liked him even though he was very big and intimidating plus he demanded things of me he did not ask which I wasn’t used to, but I thought that was just him.  I did not know what a dominant was.’

“He was very good looking and showed up at my house at least once a day brining me little gifts.  We talked for hours as he would put his arm around me and have me lean into him.  We kissed a lot, but he did not push me for more which I appreciated since I was not ready for that.’

Allen stated as this was the best story he ever heard.  That poor dominant probably did not know what to do when Zachary ran.  It made Allen wonder how far Zachary ran before he called a cab to get home.

 

“I don’t know if I should tell you more since it wasn’t funny to me.”

 

Zachary said with a pout as this was insulting.

 

“Please Zachary.  I have to know.  I swear I won’t laugh anymore.”

 

Allen said and Zachary frowned.

 

“You better not laugh or I am going to hang up on you.”

 

Zachary said and Allen sighed as he would not laugh even if it was funny as hell.

 

“I swear I won’t laugh now finish this since I have to take a bath and clean up.”

 

Allen stated as he tried to be serious, but it was funny.

 

“I was blindfolded and I could see the outline of flickering candles in the room as he had candles everywhere when he took me further into the house.  He then told me to wait for a moment as he had to check something before taking me into his bedroom.  I could hear stuff being moved around and then he got me taking me into the room I think he debated on locking the door, but he did not lock it as he kissed me for a while first then he had me sit on his lap with the blindfold on as he rubbed my shoulders trying to get me to relax.  I was very nervous as I said it had been a long time and I wanted to fall in love again.  Daniel at this point said he wanted to be serious with me and seemed to be unsure if he should remove the blindfold.  He then stood me up demanding I stay put and I did.  However, he was making all sorts of noise and I just could not take it anymore so I lifted the blindfold a bit and saw a total torture chamber in his bedroom as I threw off the blindfold ran to the door and ran out of his house.  I could hear him calling me, but in High School I was on track and I am damn fast as I kept running with him chasing behind me finally stopping and getting in his car to chase me down, but I ran and hid behind a building as he drove past searching for me.’

“I called a cab after a few minutes as he was still out searching for me.  I did not go home that night.  I went to a friend’s house and hid there.  I canceled all my appointments for shoots and closed the studio down for a whole month as he called me leaving me tons of messages apologizing for scaring me.  He actually cried on the phone begging me to call him.’

“He left gifts at my door and tons of love letters.  I felt so bad for hurting him, but I am not into that kind of thing and I felt it was best for him to find someone who was into that.  Sometimes I still get calls from him and that was three years ago.  He says he wants to still be friends, but if I let him in, he will stalk me again as he did when we broke up.  I almost had to get a restraining order against him since he just wouldn’t leave me alone.”

 

Zachary said and Allen did not like that the guy was still calling Zachary.

 

“Well, I don’t like him calling you.  You are mine now and he can’t have you.  However, bondage is not bad although if you are not into pain I won’t do that to you.  I have had enough of being in pain with Lia and other demons so I am not so much into whips and stuff like that.  However, toys can be fun and being cuffed can be fun to.  You do need to learn to relax though Zachary.  You are very uptight and you are going to crack someday.’

Zachary said shuddering at the thought.

Zachary was debating on hanging up on Allen for laughing at him in the first place.  It had not been funny.  It scared Zachary that Daniel was still out there trying to pursue him.  He also wasn’t sure he wanted to be Allen’s boyfriend as he was acting all possessive and Zachary about had enough of possessive men pursuing him.

 

Zachary wondered if he gave off some kind of vibe that he was asking for people to try an own him or push themselves on him.  That was why he liked Alex so much.  Alex was polite and did not push plus he was gorgeous.  Zachary frowned as he waited for Allen to get on the phone.  Zachary really liked talking to Allen, but he also thought he was an asshole.  Allen did tell him demons were assholes, but Zachary had not wanted to believe that of his new friend.

 

When Allen got back on the phone, they were pulling into the hotel as Harrison made Zachary wait to get out before letting the others out.  Harrison wanted to talk to Zachary.

 

“Zachary, are you there?”

 

Allen asked and Zachary was not sure he wanted to answer him, but did anyway.

 

“We just got to the hotel so give me a minute.”

 

Zachary said and Allen waited for him to talk to him.

 

Harrison got into the car and sat with Zachary grabbing the phone from Zachary and pushing the mute button.

 

“Don’t let demons push you around son.  Allen marked you I know and he is very pushy.  If you really want him to fall in love with you, you’re going to need to stand up for yourself a bit.  He is right about you being a scared little rabbit, but rabbits can kick and bite.  Fight back a bit or he will walk all over you.’

“Allen is desperate right now and you are his only hope so make him work for you.  If you make it too easy for him, he will lose interest and you will get hurt.  Start by telling him you are not his boyfriend yet and that he has to earn that right.’

“Demons are possessive creatures and he will still be possessive of you even if you turn him down.  Make him work.  We work to harvest souls so make him work for your heart.  He is playing a game right now still thinking like a demon and he isn’t one.’

“You are special with a rare soul I can tell, and he will pursue you to the ends of the earth just to be near your soul.  Make him want the whole package as your soul is only one part of you.  That is how you make a demon fall in love.  However, once he does love you know no other will love you as much and he will be very possessive over you even more than now.  He will cherish you and worship you, but God help anyone who tries to take you from him when he falls in love with you as he will be dangerous as hell if they try.’

“Allen is a good man and will give one hundred and ten percent of himself to anything he does.  You are very lucky you caught his eye, but don’t make it so easy for him.  You deserve the best and since you are the best for Allen he will fight for you.  You are meant to be together as the universe puts people together for a reason.  Now quit running and start fighting for what you want.”

 

Harrison said as he pat Zachary on the back and gave him his phone back.  He then got out of the car and let Zachary out as everyone was waiting with their things for him to join them.

 

Pushing the button on the phone so Allen could hear him, Zachary made a decision as he was indeed tired of running all the time.

 

“Allen, I don’t want to be your boyfriend yet.  I told you I want to take things slow and you laughed at me.  I don’t know if I want to talk to you right now.”

 

Zachary said angrily and Allen panicked as he did not want Zachary mad at him.  He needed Zachary and loved his soul.

 

“Look Zachary I am sorry for laughing at you.  I didn’t mean to make you mad at me.  Don’t hang up on me. I need to talk to you.”

 

Allen said and Zachary frowned.

 

“Why do you need to talk to me so badly?  I am just a human and you are a demon who is now a vampire.  You ask me all about me, but you don’t tell me much about yourself yet you want me to call you my boyfriend.  Boyfriends know stuff about each other, they don’t keep secrets.  I know you are a demon so you did probably horrific stuff in your past but that was you then.  I still want to know that you so I can understand the you now that is trying to change.’

“In protecting me you are also screwing things up since I am not a baby.  Either you start talking more about yourself or forget this since it is making me think you are screwing with me.  I am also not a possession. I am a person who has feelings.  Tell me more about you or I am going to hang up and not speak to you for at least three days straight.”

 

Allen really did not want to do this.  He was absolutely certain that Zachary would end up hating him.

 

“I don’t want you to hate me.  I am afraid if I tell you more about me you will be disgusted with me and never want to talk to me again.”

 

Zachary got pissed a bit.

 

“I may not talk to you ever again if you don’t tell me the truth.  Allen, I know you are a demon so nothing you could say will disgust me as I know you were evil and part of you still is.  Still, I am trying so the least you can do is try for me.”

 

Zachary said and Allen decided fuck it.  If this is what Zachary wanted, he would tell him.

 

“Fine I will tell you, but I did warn you.”

 

Zachary took his bags inside other than his pipe and pipe tobacco.  Everyone was meeting on the beach after putting their bags of things away.

 

“So, tell me everything that you can tonight before bedtime and then in the morning you can tell me the rest.”

 

Zachary stated and Allen figured he would start with the worst things first.

 

“When a demon is first born, at least in my time, we had to fight for souls and fight each other for the best souls.  Some of us were stronger than others.  I was made stronger than almost all my fellow demons.  Kirkland can tell you how I took baby demons who were barely born into the life of a demon ripping them apart with my bare hands feasting on their entrails waiting for my turn to enter earth.’

“We were constantly hungry, thirsty, plagued by pain, and suffering giving up our lives as Angels for this thing called free will.  We wanted what the humans had and to leave hell.  Even powerful demons like me were raped by stronger demons, we raped weak demons as well.  There were orgies everywhere and it was a frenzy of bodies fucking each other like animals killing each other and feasting on each other even in coitus.’

“Kirkland was a more sophisticated demon although he did rape his fellow demons me included.  Kirkland had raped me more than the others since I was pretty, but he also disciplined me more than the others as he called me nothing more than an animal.  I was feral with no proper training.  Kirkland took me and turned my ass around through discipline and force.  He was the most powerful demon, a demon General.’

“Lia and I were his favorites as he trained us and ingrained in us the importance of harvesting souls for Lucifer.  Kirkland was so beautiful back then and Lucifer’s favorite as he was even during training chained to Lucifer by a collar and leash that extended outwards far enough he could wander about hell doing damn near anything he wanted to do.  I wanted to be him.”

 

Allen said as he described hell and to Zachary it sounded horrible, but at the same time it was hell and Allen was a demon so it isn’t the worst thing he heard.

 

“Kirkland determined if we were ready to leave hell and when.  When he was in charge no one left hell, or escaped it.  Many tried and they were brought back by the succubae and incubi like naughty children which Lucifer and Kirkland dealt with by sometimes obliterating them.  When you die in hell you truly die so if one is obliterated there is nothing left of them.  They cease to exist.’

“Kirkland also determined who would go into the harems.  The most beautiful demons went to the harems where he almost sent me, but Kirkland was also selfish wanting to keep me to himself.  Kirkland set up mates making me mate with that bitch Lia in front of him to insure we did not disobey him.  Since we were Kirkland’s favorites, he showed us off and made us the example of the perfect demon to others.  Eventually, Lucifer got jealous of the attention his favorite was showing to us and ordered Kirkland to send us to earth to test us out.  Kirkland reluctantly let us go with one warning, not to fuck up his training.’

“When we got to earth, it was dark and cold.  We could hear souls calling out to us and we were so hungry.  Both Lia and I knew about harvesting souls, but we needed to eat before we went about doing our business.  There was a village filled with humans.  Young, old, it did not matter, to us they were food.’

“Lia and I slaughtered everyone including infants as we went about tearing out souls from the unwilling.  We ate souls feeling full for the first time in years.  I was still devouring the entrails of an infant when Lia came to get me.  We needed clothing and we were covered in blood.  We figured out how to absorb the blood to clean ourselves and stole clothing after burning down the village.’

“Lia and I had to split up otherwise we would be competing for souls so we went our separate ways which was fine with me since I hated her.  I do not know how many Masters she had, but my first Master was a fat ugly slobbering man with a filthy soul.  He wanted wealth as his wish so I created the contract and he wanted me to be a woman so I changed forms for him.  For that filthy soul I harvested, I was passed around to his friends like a whore all of whom were filthy like him.  I was a demon so I did what I had to do.’

“I killed for that bastard and brought him young girls to rape.  Mere children, but that was my Master so I did what he ordered of me.  After he received the contracted amount of wealth we agreed to, I took great pleasure in tearing his soul from his fat disgusting body and I made his death slow.’

“Later as I matured I got pickier on the souls I gathered.  Children are the easiest to manipulate and bend to one’s will.  Some children are truly evil in their desires and wishes so I sought those ones out killing humans for them, doing the most deplorable acts imaginable.  Some of those children I raped before I took their souls.  I relished in their screams as they begged for mercy which I gave none.  Kirkland was right about me, I was an animal, a beast to be feared and loathed.  I played with the dead bodies of my victims going so far as to creating a puppet out of one of them since he was a pretty boy and he had not decomposed yet.’

“I enjoyed playing with my prey.  Lia would come call on me every once in a while, and she was fat with souls.  It was repulsive to me and then she wanted to fuck me to steal my souls.  Souls I had worked hard for and waited years to harvest properly.’

“I did things you don’t want to imagine for my Masters and things I don’t like talking about as they even disgust me.  They made me eat things that you would never want to know about including human wastes.”

 

Allen said and Zachary had to sit down as he was going to be sick.  He wasn’t upset or grossed out by Allen, he was grossed out by humans and what they did to him.

 

“Are you ok Zachary?  I told you that this was very bad.  I tried to warn you.”

 

Allen said as he heard Zachary sounding like he was going to throw up any second.

 

“Humans made you do all those terrible things?  I mean it grosses me out a bit that you raped children among other things, but you are a demon.  Demons as far as I know do feed on the entrails of humans, they kill, rape, and steal souls, but the things humans made you do seem a lot worse than what you actually did.”

 

Zachary said and Allen sighed.

 

“It was children who made me do some of the worst things.  Sweet innocent children did that.  Luckily, I could not taste anything or ingest it.  I did eventually learn that a demon can say no to their Master.  There are apparently things that are even unreasonable for a demon to do.  I wish I would have known that when I was younger.  For thousands of years I was at my Masters’ mercy.’

“I was killed more than once finding that bullets, knives, and human weapons did not affect me as I would get up to fight again.  When the Angels came after us, we fought with many of us not understanding why they were protecting these filthy cruel humans from us.  Angels did not think twice about slaughtering us.  I went back to hell a few times being killed by their kind not really knowing what I did to offend them so badly.  I did not know we were natural enemies as the first time I saw an Angel after I became a demon I thought it to be the most beautiful creature I had ever seen.  I was so enthralled by it I did not pay attention to the sword at his side as he beheaded me in a single stroke before I could say anything.’

“During those days, Kirkland was missing and thus most of us were on our own.  We figured our own General abandoned us.  Younger faster stronger demons came and told us we had to leave the place we called home to go to the island where you are now.  We were warned not to come back and that even hell did not want us.  We were to go to the island and await our fates by Lucifer’s orders.  Since we were still loyal to Lucifer, we went to this place in Jamaica where we were told our fate.  I retaliated as I was far from ready to retire or die.’

“I tried to leave several times only to be brought back by younger demons who said they were just looking out for their elders.  It was a prison for us even if no one else thought so.’

“We still needed souls, but Lia set up the rules as she was older than me.  One soul every five to ten years from the piss poorest of souls available.  After setting up these stupid rules, she had the steal nerve to want to fuck me to steal the souls I had harvested.  She talked me into marrying her since we were mates and played like she loved me.  I fell for her tricks one time and that was when she dug into my guts pulling out a soul.  For that act, I gutted her and stole one from her to make up for the one she took.  I moved out of her room into my own room and threatened to file for divorce.’

“Now I am divorced from her.  She hates me the most because I did not put up with her shit and because I stole that one soul back which did not make up from all the souls she stole from me in the past.’

“All she ever did was take from me just like my Masters.  I hate every single one of my Masters as no soul was worth the shit I had to put up for it, however I had to feed.  It was feed or die.  I always got my revenge on them.  I made them all scream and beg for mercy taking their evil souls to drag to hell with me.’

“I did all of what I did for free will which is a joke as a demon.  You are still under Lucifer’s rule and ordered to do things by humans.   Of course, I did not mind doing some things for humans.  I liked to clean, I liked cooking for them, I liked killing for them sometimes.  I did not consider every rape I suffered to be rape as there were few that did show care and compassion to me even knowing what I was.  I did not like the form of being a woman as those that had sex with me did not realize it, but they were not fucking a woman, they were actually fucking my ass since even if I change sexes I only have one opening.’

“Demons don’t get diseases and we are very clean, but the humans were not.  They were dirty stinky things and sometimes there is not enough soap to get that smell off.  People are much cleaner these days.”

 

Allen said and Zachary felt terrible for Allen.

 

“Allen, I am so sorry to hear about your past.  I want you to know I would never use you or order you to do anything you did not want to do.  I am glad you are trying to change and that you are my friend.  Thank you for being so honest with me and telling me about your past.”

 

Zachary said wishing he could hug Allen to let him know how much he did care for him.

 

“Don’t feel too much pity for me.  I did enjoy raping and killing people.  I am a demon and demons do evil things.  As I said before, you really don’t want me to be myself since I don’t want you to hate me.  If I am myself, I would normally make a contract with you pretend to give you what you most wish for only to rip your soul from your body as you scream while I rape you.’

“I don’t want to pretend to love you Zachary, that is why I can’t be myself with you.  I want to be better and the kind of man you want to love.  I already love your soul.  Your soul and mine are compatible.  My dark soul craves the darkness and light of your soul.  Humans would call us soul mates.  Demons call it a perfect soul and the last meal as a demon.  It is fate that brought us together Zachary.’

“You are the one to truly set me free and give me my free will that I was promised.  I cannot and will not lose you.”

 

Zachary sat thinking about all of this.

 

“Allen, I know it is hard for you, but I need to take this whole thing slowly with you.  Every time I rush these things or think I know someone, I get hurt.  There is so much I want out of this relationship with you and eventually I want to call myself your boyfriend.  I kind of feel overwhelmed by a lot of things right now and we haven’t even dated yet.  I want to date you not just talk to you on the phone.’

“This whole thing scares me.  You are experienced in so many things being what you are and although I am not a young man I am still very new to so much.  I don’t like being trapped and I don’t like being pushed.’

“Every man who has shown an interest in me likes to push me around and try to force themselves on me.  Even Richard to a point was pushy.  I know you are desperate to be set free of your mate, but I don’t want to just be a mere tool for your freedom that you can throw away later.  I also don’t want to be a possession.  You don’t like being owned by people and forced to do things you don’t want to do.  I don’t want to force this relationship.’

“I want to love you, but I want that love returned and I am afraid it won’t be.  You say you love my soul, but that is one part of me.  I can’t talk to souls and I am not a very religious man so to me you’re talking about a part of me that I don’t even know.  The person you are talking to, that is me.’

“You want me to be your consort, but we only met once in person and have been talking only a few days.  You seem to want to grant my wishes and I want to grant yours, but once that is done we still have to deal with each other and you are talking about forever.  I don’t want you to eventually hate me because I am not what you expected.”

 

Allen listened understanding, but he was not going to give up.

 

“So far, you have exceeded my expectations Zachary.  I don’t think it is possible for me to hate you.  You can be annoying yes and sometimes boring, but these past few days talking to you and getting to know you have been like heaven to me.  You are refreshing to me.  You actually do things for me for a change without asking for anything in return.  You don’t demand me to do things or order me around.  Demons are not used to humans like you, you flabbergast us.  Some demons would find your sweet nature disgusting.  In some ways, it disgusts me since I know you are stronger than this.’

“You let people walk on you and you need to stand up for yourself.  You can only run for so long before everything and everyone catches up to you.  Take for example that Daniel asshole.  Why did you not change your phone number?  If you really don’t want him to call anymore you need to do something about it and not play the victim.  I can play the hero if you need me to, but you need to do something otherwise people are going to use you up.’

“If you seriously can’t handle something, let me do it.  I want to be your hero plus it is fun for me to put people in their place.  Just stop running away silly little rabbit.”

 

Zachary blushed since he hated being rude.

 

“I don’t have the slightest clue on how to defend myself.”

 

Zachary said with a sigh.

 

“You don’t have to defend yourself.  Let me deal with them.  Like I said, I like putting people in their place.  Just don’t run.  If you feel afraid, confide in me and I will help you get through those fears.  Even if you don’t consider me your boyfriend I consider myself to be your boyfriend.  I will hurt anyone who hurts you.  If you run from me, I will catch you, spank the daylights out of you for running in the first place, and set you straight.   You can’t run from me and if you try to hide from me I will find you.  It may take me time to do so, but you will be found.”

 

Allen said and Zachary huffed at that.

 

“What, do you have a tracking device on me or something?”

 

Zachary asked as in some ways he would not put it past the demon to do that to him.

 

“Something like that.  Demons around you know I claimed you and I can find you anywhere in the world.  I also put a protection spell on you so you would be safe.  I always take care of what is mine.”

 

Allen said and Zachary frowned.

 

“I don’t like being owned.”

 

Zachary said and Allen chuckled.

 

“But you like being wanted and needed.  I want and need you.  Also, I warned you that I am a demon first and as far as my soul is concerned it owns your soul.  Silly little rabbit, tricks are not just for kids.”

 

Zachary was sick of Allen calling him a rabbit.

 

“I’m not a damn rabbit!  Just because I don’t stick around in a bad situation doesn’t make me a coward!”

 

Zachary fumed and Allen laughed.

 

“If you don’t want to be called a rabbit, don’t act like a scared little bunny.  Face your fears and if you can’t then let me do it for you.  If you are being kissed without your permission, smack the hell out of the person, yell, do something, but don’t run.  Best of all, if you do decide to run, then run to me and I will deal with them.  If you can’t do it, then you can count on me.  Go for help, but don’t run away and hide.  Eventually your worst nightmare will find you and then what are you going to do?  Right now, there is not much I can do, but you have a whole group of people to protect you.  Use them if you must, but do not run away where they can’t help you especially there in that city.’

“You need me Zachary as much as I need you.  You need me to help you so you can survive in this cruel world.  If humans are already preying on you, just think of what nonhumans can do to you.  A vampire can kill just as easily as a demon.  Humans kill each other all the time, there is nowhere safe in this world.  You can hide, but the evil of this world will eventually find you.’

“You love Richard, but if he were starving and hungry, all you are to him is another meal.  You’ve already experienced his using you for your body and blood.    He promised an eternity of love to you and gave you nothing except heartache.’

“I am a devil, a demon.  If I wanted to hurt you or kill you, I could even from this far away.  I don’t want that as you are dear to this old demon.  I am the thing of nightmares Zachary and I can be that nightmare to anyone who hurts you.  I know you are afraid, but I can change that for you.  With me at your side nothing can hurt you and no one will dare to even touch you unless they want a really, really bad day.”

 

Zachary understood, but he was not just afraid of others, he was also afraid of this demon he was friends with.

 

“What do I do if my fear happens to be you?”

 

Zachary asked and Allen smiled.

 

“That is understandable, but pointless as I have no intention of harming you.  I cannot eat your soul even if I make a contract with you.  I might drain you a bit of your blood, but you like that.  I will eventually mark you in more than one place and we will have sex Zachary.  I want you in all ways forever as my consort and eventually as my mate.  I am going to drive all your fears away and bring you the protection you need here in my arms.”

 

Allen said and Zachary would really like that.  To feel safe and protected.

 

“I need to meet everyone outside since they are waiting for me.  Can you tell me some good things about your past?”

 

Zachary asked and Allen chuckled.  His little rabbit was so cute.

 

“There are a few things I can tell you about.  They may seem boring to you, but they gave me a moment of peace when I needed it.”

 

Allen said and Zachary went downstairs to meet with everyone who was waiting for him to come with them to the beach.

 

Everyone walked to the beach with their cigars in hand other than Zachary who had his pipe.  Alex really did not want to smoke the cigar, but Bob said it was just an experiment and if he hated it, they would throw them away.

 

Everyone got their cigars ready as Calis looked absolutely adorable with a big old cigar sticking out of his mouth.  Kirkland looked cute too as he and Calis looked like naughty kids who stole their Father’s cigars with the cigars being huge for such little faces.

 

Gabrielle pulled out the lighter he bought as he lit everyone’s cigars being extra careful with the vampires telling them to keep the lighted tip away from their bodies.  Lighting Zachary’s pipe the group puffed their tobacco products with Calis being the first to put his out since it was repulsive.  Kirkland smoked his relaxing with it as he knew better than to inhale unlike Calis who was pretty green still from inhaling that cigar smoke.

 

“You ok Calis?”

 

Sebastian asked as he puffed on his cigar a bit.

 

“I will be when I get that nasty taste out of my mouth.”

 

Calis said as he spits trying to get the horrible taste out of his mouth.

 

Alex was the second to put his out as he was done since the experiment just reminded him of why he hated smoking in the first place.  William who had a cigar before puffed his not sure if he liked it or not.  The one he had before was a Cuban cigar and smooth where this one was a bit foul tasting.  Zachary started choking on his pipe smoke and William told him not to inhale it.  That was the trick to tobacco like this.  Allen was laughing his ass off at Zachary who was describing the nasty flavor of the tobacco as he poured out his pipe and stomped on the burning tobacco putting it out deciding he wasn’t doing that again.

 

Gabrielle was following William’s example trying to enjoy the cigar, but it was hard although he did not want to be the first non-vampire adult to give it up trying to be cool like the other guys although he did have tears at the corners of his eyes from the nastiness of the cigar.

 

Everyone waited for the men to finish their cigars as they enjoyed the beach with Gabrielle finally unable to take it anymore as he snuffed his out officially declaring himself a wimp since he did not know how the others could stand it.

 

William was enjoying this as it was a nice night and even if it wasn’t the best cigar he wanted to finish it while looking out at the water.  Leon was the next to put his out as he could not do this shit anymore.  Kirkland, Bob, Sebastian, and William planned to finish their cigars although Calis told Sebastian he wasn’t allowed to kiss him until he brushed his teeth and cleaned his mouth thoroughly.  Calis did not know how these men could smoke these awful things as they stunk and tasted like crap.  Kirkland was the most ridiculous looking one of them all since he had a cigar before and knew how to smoke them.  Still, it was the image that was so wrong as a ten-year-old kid with a big old cigar in his mouth.

 

Everyone was enjoying the silence of the night although there was minimal conversation going on.  Finally, Zachary had to ask Kirkland a question since it was bugging him.  It wasn’t that he did not necessarily believe Allen, but he wanted to know from Kirkland the truth about Allen.

 

“General Kirkland.  I was wondering.  Did you really rape Allen in hell?”

 

Zachary asked and Kirkland sat up pulling out his cigar from his mouth.

 

“I did many things I am ashamed of doing son.  Yes, I did rape Allen several times.  We were all like wild animals in hell abusing each other and using one another.  Being Lucifer’s favorite and also his General gave me immeasurable power in hell.  The only one above me was Lucifer during those times.  I controlled a lot of hell as Lucifer decided for fun he would let me choose who went where and it was as though I was his right-hand man.  I made a lot of decisions, some I regret and others I felt I had no choice in making.’

“When I met Allen, he was an untamed wild feral beast.   He was a mere baby, but the strongest out of many demons and stunningly beautiful.  I had intended him for the harems of hell, but I took a fancy to him myself which pissed off Lucifer to no end.’

“I made Allen my personal project as I treated him like a good pet when he was good and when he was bad I was harder on him than any other demon.  My goal was to make him stronger.  Allen had great potential that I could see in him.  Lia was his perfect counterpart at the time as she was older and did not need nearly as much discipline.’

“Allen was a little pain in the ass.  He was beautiful and knew it so he would try to push his way to try to become Lucifer’s next favorite.  Lucifer almost took off his head more than once and I had to save his little ass.  Just because he was my favorite did not mean Lucifer would put up with him.’

“I made the mistake of letting the power go to my head and was going to claim Allen as my second in command although I did not have that kind of authority.  Lucifer reminded me of my place rather painfully and told me I had to send Allen and Lia to earth as Lucifer did not want Allen to be a distraction for me any longer since he was jealous as hell of anyone I found attractive.’

“I did my best to prepare Allen and Lia for this having to send them out with no clothing on other than their natural demon clothing they are born with into a dead winter when it was freezing outside.  I feared they would not survive, but I had more demons to train and ready for battle.  I wasn’t allowed to concern myself over demons who did not follow their training.’

“Allen came back to hell twice while I was still Lucifer’s favorite asking me why these Angels were killing them as he lost some of his memories from being an Angel when he was turned.  I told him Angels were natural enemies to demons although I was not allowed to tell him more than that.  Lucifer sent him out to go collect souls since Allen was just another demon to Lucifer.’

“I felt for Allen, but we were preparing for war and when the Angels came to fight us I had to be ready.  I taught thousands of demons how to fight so I figured since I saw no challenge in killing young Angels that were mere babies I wanted to go after the real enemy of our kind.  So, I fought directly with the Archangel Michael letting my demons do their jobs.’

“Lucifer was pissed since I was almost beating Michael, something which he had never done.  If it were not for those blasted chains of Michael’s, I would have had him several times.  We fought for days until Michael finally knocked the sword out of my hand knocking me out cold as he went after Lucifer.’

“When I woke from the battle, I was surrounded by Angels including Michael who commended me on a good fight.  He offered for me to go to the side of righteousness and to train his Angels.  I was foolish and told him no I wanted to go back to hell.  Michael said it was most unfortunate and hoped I would fight him again as this had been a good battle for him.’

“When I got back to hell, Lucifer was chained to his throne fuming at me.  He blamed me for the loss of the battle and sent me out of hell stripping me of my title as General telling me he hoped I died on earth and never came back to hell.”

 

Kirkland said and Zachary held the phone so Allen could listen as well.

 

“I was so sure of myself and since no one except Lucifer and I knew I had been stripped of my title as General, I used my title to continue to train demons and gather the best souls.  I was still more powerful than any demon before me.  I never saw Allen again, but I did search for him.  I searched for him for years as the concept of love crept into my thoughts since in some ways I had loved Allen even more than Lia or the others.  Thousands of years passed, and I grew old, but I was still very powerful.  I had not died as Lucifer hoped.  Then a young even more beautiful demon appeared at my door.  That was Leon begging me for training and protection.  I knew my heart was lost to Leon at first sight.’

“Leon was so young, so naïve, and somewhat stupid.  He reminded me of Allen with his curiosity seeing me as his whole world.  I regretted mating Allen to Lia, but I knew he was already mated thus unattainable to me.  However, Leon was unmated, practically unspoiled, and damn near identical in personality to Allen.  I refused to let him go as I lost Allen and I was not going to lose Leon.  I claimed Leon mating him immediately not hesitating for a second.  I would not lose him like I lost Allen.’

“I was so selfish and I swore no one would harm my mate.  I protected Leon fiercely using my stripped title as a way to scare the living hell out of demons who would come to close to our homes where I locked Leon into a room he could not escape putting spells everywhere.  I was happy even if Leon was miserable.  I fell in love with this young demon who started to hate me.’

“I know if I had found Allen, I would have done the same to him.  Leon became an obsession for me and I was constantly paranoid he would leave me.  I bought him various pets to keep him company, trained him daily, and made him write in journals that I stole since I was greedy wanting everything of my mate to myself.’

“If Leon was not in the mood to accommodate me, I raped him.  I was not going to be refused my own mate.  In my mind, I was still General Kirkland Dravenknight one of the most powerful demons to walk the earth.’

“Then on a cruise ship everything changed for me.  I did think of Allen that night praying he was doing well wherever he was wishing I could see him one last time.  I kept thinking of how much Allen would like Leon and then I thought of how dear Leon was to me.  I then realized if I died that night I would not be accepted back into hell and what would happen to Leon.’

“That very night I knew I had to live and in order to live I had to do the impossible for a demon.  I had to surrender my heart to the one I loved.  It was the first unselfish thing I ever did in my life.  I fell in love that night with Leon, my mate.  It was the most painful thing in my life to feel as I really thought I was dying when I was changed.  I cried, sobbed for my mate.  After the pain left I felt peace within and felt feathers on my back.  I plucked one finding it to be white as snow.’

“I was an Angel, but I still felt like a demon.  After pacing for a bit, I figured out how to hide my wings.  I knew I had to get food to Leon, but I needed time to think.  I knew now if I found Allen he would reject me as would most of my kind if they found out what I was.  I decided only one person would know and hopefully he would feel the same as me.’

“I grabbed a random passenger who was out for a smoke carrying the man like a sack of potatoes.  He was food for my mate and I did not care about his complaints or his fighting.  I told him to shut up or I would break his arms.  Leon was hungry and when I walked in the room with the struggling human I threw him on the floor then stepped on him to keep him from escaping.’

“Leon was pissed at me which was nothing new as he looked at the trembling man with his red glowing eyes. Leon needed food and I provided as always.  Leon asked me where my meal was.  I figured he most likely thought I ate without him which I did not do when we traveled by ship.  I told him I could not feed on souls anymore as I showed him my wings.’

“To say Leon freaked out was not quite right.  He went completely nuts on me.  He told me he hated me which broke my heart.  He did not exactly tell me, he screamed at the top of his lungs that he hated me blaming me for falling in love with him as if it were a curse.  It hurt worse than anything to be rejected by my own mate.  I told him I loved him as I once again locked him in our stateroom doing the usual spells to insure my mate could not leave me.  Leon took all his frustrations out on that little human and to say things were a mess was an understatement.  I gave Leon time to calm down.  When I came back for the body, Leon threw things at me telling me to get out of his sight.  I ignored his temper tantrum and got rid of the body after locking him in the room again.’

“I stood out by the bow of the ship letting the breeze blow on me and I did think about Allen again at that moment wondering if he would have hated me to.  Leon did not speak to me the rest of the cruise.  He cleaned up the mess from the human and I kept bringing him his meals since on a ship it is easier to get rid of bodies.  Leon eventually calmed down, but he did not stop hating me.’

“The one night I decided to show Leon the most love I have ever shown another being, I was going to give Leon more freedom.  It was a mistake on my part as I did not truly realize how much Leon did hate me.  It had been the happiest night of my life since I did not have to rape my mate and I thought perhaps he had come to love me too.’

“Leon did have a plan for me though. I was sleeping so he snuck away with our pet cat Mr. Tinkles and told twenty demons where to find me, so they could kill me.  I was in a dead sleep when they attacked and completely nude.  I fought thinking that Leon was in danger as I killed demon after demon I demanded from them where my mate was.’

“We had big windows on that house in France so Leon could see everything even from a distance.  Angels came to my aid slaughtering the rest of the demons and I worried they might have also killed Leon in their haste to defend me.  I was dying bleeding to death, but I had to find my mate.  I would have gone to hell for him if necessary to save him.  I loved Leon that much.’

“The last thing I saw when I died was Leon standing alive with Mr. Tinkles in his hands.  Leon killed Mr. Tinkles to bury him with me as now Leon was on his own with no protection.  My last dying thoughts were relief my mate was alive.”

 

Kirkland said and Zachary was wiping away his tears as this was a very sad story.

 

“When I was reborn in heaven I recalled everything, I knew everything and as I grew I practiced hiding from the Angels although Raphael always found me.  I was very good at hiding and when I felt I was old enough to leave I purposely hid by the portal to earth slipping inside with no one the wiser.  I was going to find my mate since I was very angry at him, but I also loved him.  I went back to France where our home had been that was now burnt rubble’

“I was crazed and I demanded demon after demon where my mate was.  Finally, I got a lead and donned my disguise going into Leon’s home literally throwing things in search of clues for finding him.  I trashed that house not giving a damn until I got to Leon’s things smelling his shirts and getting that scent that was still fresh.  I knew he did not leave that long ago and he had the wedding ring I had bought him when I told him I was going to marry him.’

“I waited for a while for Leon to show up then saw fresh tire marks out front.  I found a local paper that talked about a cursed house.  I knew he must have gone there.  I went inside the house and called a driver to come pick me up to take me to this Blue House.  I refused to let Leon leave me and I was going to force him to come with me even if he did not want to.’

“I donned my disguise as a priest and saw the Rolls Royce in the driveway that matched the tire marks from the other house.  I was excited since I knew Leon had to be here.  I used spells to get past the reapers and found my Leon chained to the bed by Archangel chains.  He had been punished and unbeknownst to me a tiny Archangel cherub tricked Leon turning him into a demon Angel.  I was going to kill his love interest since I would not have competition and if Leon did not love me than he could love no one else.  Leon did not love anyone still.  He was pissed at me and pissed at everything in general.’

“I haven’t let him out of my sight ever since that day and refuse to.  I cannot make up for all I did in the past since that is impossible.  I am sorry for the harm I caused so many people especially Leon and Allen whom I both love.  Allen, I am sorry and I hope you will forgive me someday.  I never meant to abandon you or leave you guessing in a cold cruel world.”

 

Kirkland said and Zachary could hear Allen crying on the other line.

 

“Allen, are you ok?”

 

Zachary asked as he could hear the demon vampire damn near sobbing.

 

“I’m fine…………”

 

Allen sobbed out as he was pissed.  Kirkland had loved him and he would have given anything for that love back then.  Allen was pissed at Kirkland and Leon.

 

“You don’t sound fine.  You sound like you are crying.”

 

Zachary said and Allen got pissed.

 

“I said I was fine!  I am a demon and demons do not cry!”

 

Allen roared as he tried to deny it was happening although he could feel the tears pour down his face.  Allen was so angry and he felt cheated.  Leon did not know how damn lucky he was.  Allen in feeling this pain wanted to kill something to end it but he could not move.

 

“Zachary let me talk to Allen.”

 

Kirkland said as Zachary handed Kirkland the phone knowing that Allen was sobbing.

 

“Allen talk to me sweetheart.”

 

Kirkland said and Allen fumed.

 

“I don’t want to talk to you!  You gave up the search for me for that little demon who doesn’t appreciate you when I would have given anything for any form of affection from you!  I would have done anything for you! You forced me to mate that bitch and forced me out into the world to fend for myself!”

 

Allen roared since he was pissed.

 

“Even after I mated Leon, I did not give up the search for you Allen.  I traveled everywhere with Leon to find you.  Even after I bought the house in France and was killed I did not stop searching for you.  I just barely got back from heaven. I have not been back for very long.  I was so happy to find you, but you seemed to be settled with your mate.  I did not know the hardships you suffered, but I never stopped loving you.  I still love you very much.”

 

Kirkland said and Allen did not want to hear that.

 

“I can’t love you now!  If I do, Lia will win!  I hate you for doing this to me now!  I would have followed you to the ends of the earth Kirkland!  I have to love Zachary now!  You are totally fucking me up!  I don’t want to feel this!  It hurts too much!”

 

Allen sobbed out as he was losing it.

 

“Allen just because you love me doesn’t mean you can’t love Zachary.  Love is very painful, but it is worth the pain.  If you become a demon Angel tonight, you can still unmate from Lia.  Once the transformation begins the mating if it is not created from true love becomes null and void.  You can be free and this way you can properly court Zachary.  I do love you Allen and I want you happy.”

 

Kirkland said and Allen got pissed since this hurt.  He could feel the light within and it fucking hurt.

 

“Put Zachary on the phone Kirkland.”

 

Allen said and Kirkland sighed.

 

“He can’t help you get through this.”

 

Kirkland stated and Allen did not give a damn.

 

“I SAID PUT ZACHARY ON THE DAMN PHONE!”

 

Allen roared as he had to do this before it was too late.

 

“Hi Allen.  Are you feeling better?”

 

Zachary asked and Allen could not believe this man he was going to bind himself to tonight.  Was he an idiot?

 

“Zachary don’t ask stupid questions.  I want you to make a contract with me right now.  Don’t question it, just do it.  I am not mating Kirkland so you better fucking listen to me and do this now.”

 

Allen said and Zachary frowned.

 

“But you said you won’t do a contract with someone unless you love them.”

 

Allen rolled his eyes trying to ignore the pain.

 

“If everything that has happened since I met you is correct, I am fucking in love with your dumb ass.  Now say you want the contract with me so we can be mates otherwise when I am done with the change I will come out there and physically restrain you to whip the shit out of you!”

 

Allen yelled and Zachary did not like the tone of Allen’s voice.

 

“I don’t know if I want to talk to you right now.”

 

Zachary said and Allen freaked out.

 

“Zachary please don’t do this now!  Your wish is to be loved like no one else will ever love you right?”

 

Allen asked as the light was really pissing him off.

 

“Yes.”

 

Zachary said since he did want that.

 

“I am giving you that.  Now make the contract since if you don’t it will be too late.”

 

Allen said sternly and Zachary sighed.

 

“Fine, but if you fuck with me I’ll make you regret it.”

 

Zachary said as he made the contract as Allen’s symbol was now a permanent feature on his neck.

 

“Now listen to me Zachary, I need you to talk to me to get me through this shit.  I am in a lot of pain right now so tell me about another one of your boyfriends you ran from.”

 

Allen said as the light was now spreading and it really burned.

 

“Well, there was Craig who I met shortly after Richard dumped me.  He was another model and we both were young.  Craig was eighteen and I was barely seventeen.  I was just getting into photography and I met Craig at the shoot I was apprenticing at.  My job was to move the lights around and help put up the sets.’

“Craig saw me and stopped to help me out.  He was very nice and I thought he was cute.  He had dimples when he smiled and was the first blond I was attracted to besides Richard.  He flirted a bit with me and I shyly flirted back.  I thought he was into me so I was going to pursue it as he asked me out for drinks after the shoot.’

“I was still trying to get over Richard and I thought Craig was the guy to make that happen.  We started to kiss when Craig’s ex-boyfriend showed up accusing him of cheating since apparently he did not get the text from Craig that it was over between them.’

“Craig’s ex was a big guy and he told Craig that a text was no way to break up with someone and he wouldn’t accept it as he dragged Craig out of the bar.  I was going to call for help, but next thing I knew Craig’s ex was kissing him and apologizing all over the place for a fight they had.  They made up that night and I never saw Craig after that.  I had to find my own way home which sucked since I did not drive there so I ended up walking home which was a long fucking walk and I almost got lost since I wasn’t too familiar with that part of town.”

 

Allen frowned since that was not an amusing story.  It pissed him off.

 

“You really don’t know how to pick them.  You seriously need help since you keep picking up assholes to date.  I know I am an asshole, but I wouldn’t leave you at a bar to go off with an ex.  Are there any more boyfriends I need to find and pummel?”

 

Allen asked since he hated the humans and the vampire that Zachary had dealt with now that he knew he loved Zachary.  He wanted to punch Richard in the nose for fucking with his boyfriend and every other asshole who thought they could fuck with what was his.

 

“Well hopefully you won’t beat them up.  Most of them other than Daniel are long gone.  There was only one more male I tried to date and it was one where I did run and I mean I really ran.”

 

Allen grit his teeth as talking to Zachary did help with this mess.

 

“What did this asshole do to you?”

 

Allen asked as he could feel all those souls within him leave as he grit his teeth in pain.

 

“Well it was a blind date.  My friend wanted to introduce me to her gay guy friend so she could go out with his roommate who was supposedly very hot and super cool.  Sure, if you like asshole jocks who rip on gays every five seconds.  I was told by my friend to be nice since her gay guy friend was a bit eccentric and liked to dress up.  So, I thought when she meant he liked to dress up that meant he dressed nice and I had associated with eccentric gay men before.  I mean you have met Richard so I was thinking someone like Richard.’

“When I got to the door, we knocked and waited.  The roommate that my friend wanted to date answered the door and asked if I was the “fairy” interested in his roommate.  Every other word was an insult and I was getting ready to leave since I did not need that shit.’

“He yelled to his gay roommate calling him a bitch that his ‘girlfriend’ was here referring to me.  I went to walk away only for my friend to grab my arm and drag me in.  When I got inside, I heard a very feminine just a minute as my supposed date was still getting ready.’

“After the fourth derogatory comment from the jock asshole I told my friend I was leaving and she could deal with the jerk since I was not staying.  She begged me to stay and promised me it would be worth it since this jock guy said his roommate was decent looking.’

“I waited for only another three minutes before I saw my date and I ran.  I jumped in the car squealed the tires to get the hell out of there and booked it.”

 

Zachary said and Allen wondered now what Zachary saw.  This was a funny story and it was helping.

 

“What did he look like?”

 

Allen asked and Zachary shuddered at the thought.

 

“He was wearing a dress with high heels with unshaven hairy legs, hairy chest, full beard, with makeup, and very heavy set.  I mean really big person.  Totally gross since he was missing teeth and he reeked of some kind of perfume that gave anyone around him a raging headache.’

“My friend dared to tell me that this crossdresser that wanted to date me was not that bad.  She said he even cried stating he got dressed up all pretty for nothing.  I am not a jerk that won’t date a crossdresser, but not a bulging, fat, hairy whatever that was.”

 

Zachary said as he did not want to think about that night.  It was a horrible nightmare.  Allen was laughing his ass off since that was fucking hilarious.

 

“Well you know those big hairy types need loving to.”

 

Allen teased as white wings burst out of his back and Zachary not noticing this also had white wings.  No one around noticed except Kirkland who sighed as it was official now that Zachary had made the contract.   Allen was finally in love and taken.

 

“Don’t even go there Allen.  I have dated psychotic models which is bad enough, but even I have my limits.”

 

Zachary said and Allen chuckled.

 

“So, do you have your wings now?”

 

Allen asked Zachary as Zachary wasn’t sure what Allen was talking about until Kirkland pulled on one of Zachary’s wings showing the young man he was now an Angel.

 

“I guess I do.  Did you know this would happen?”

 

Zachary asked and Allen smiled.

 

“I hoped it would.  I wasn’t too sure if we caught it in time.”

 

Allen said as he regarded his white wings and the fact he was indeed naked now no longer with his demon clothing on.  He also noted he was still a vampire which kind of sucked since he had wanted to try food.

 

“Can I fly?”

 

Zachary asked and Allen smiled.

 

“Yes, you can, but I would not recommend doing so in that city.  I will take you flying with me when we are together again.”

 

Allen now wanted the towels off as the chains no longer burned him.

 

“So how do I make them disappear?”

 

Zachary asked and Allen thought about it, but it was best Kirkland explained this to him.

 

“Have Kirkland help you with them.  He can tell you how to make them reappear also.  Is anyone else around except you guys?”

 

Allen asked and Zachary looked around.

 

“No, it is just us.”

 

Zachary said and Allen smiled.

 

“Keep them out for a little while longer.  I like the fact I am talking to a real Angel and one who isn’t trying to kill me.  I bet you look beautiful right now.”

 

Allen said and Zachary blushed.

 

“You’ve only seen me once Allen.”

 

Zachary stated feeling a bit unsure about these compliments.

 

“I remember your face and your body.  I pay attention to things and I am very good at remembering people.  I can’t wait to see you.  When I make you my consort I want your wings out so when you change I can watch my sleeping Angel.  I love you Zachary.”

 

Zachary sighed as he was sure it was too soon to be saying those three words he always wanted to hear.

 

“Don’t say that.  Not yet.”

 

Zachary said since he was not ready for this and Allen smiled.

 

“Zachary, don’t run.  I do love you.  I love all of you.  I love hearing your voice as I feel I can’t breathe without hearing you at least once a day, I can’t sleep unless I hear your soft breath on the phone as it brings me peace, I love the way you talk to me, I love how you trust me even when you knew I was a demon, I love your gentle heart, and I hate that I am so far away from you.  Ever since I met you all I can think about is you.  Yes, I love your soul, but I love the rest of you to.  I love how you run when you are scared and how shy you get with me.’

“I want you to love me to.  I know now I want that more than anything in this life.  Stop running from things and run to me.  I will be waiting with open arms for you and only you.”

 

Allen stated and Zachary started to cry.

 

“Please don’t be teasing me……………I can’t be hurt again.”

 

Zachary sobbed out and Allen gently hushed Zachary.

 

“I’m not teasing you.  Please my Angel don’t cry.  I really do love you.  I am going to prove this to you somehow.  I really wish I could hold you right now.  We can take our time with this since it is new to me also.  I promise I won’t push you to do more than you can.  It is going to be literal hell to behave myself as you drive me crazy with how much I do want you, but now we have forever to be together.  You freed me and saved me so I am going to save you.  I promised you I would drive away your fears and I am going to do just that.’

“I am also going to punch Richard in the nose for hurting you in the first place.  No one hurts my Angel and Daniel I am going to make him back the fuck off.  If he doesn’t get the hint, I will hurt him.  As long as I am around no one fucks with you.”

 

Allen said and Zachary stopped crying as he did not want Allen to punch Richard in the nose.

 

“Don’t hit Richard.  Please don’t.”

 

Zachary said and Allen frowned.

 

“Well, I am going to tell him what an ass I think he is.  Your soul is wounded because of him.  You were hurt and I don’t take that lying down.  He owes you an apology and his money is not good enough an apology for taking your precious virginity, something I would cherish having you share with me.  I may be an evil fuck, but I would not hurt you.  I never want to hurt you.”

 

Allen said and Zachary nodded since somehow, he knew this was true.  Allen would never intentionally hurt him.

 

Kirkland taught Zachary how to hide his wings and how to make them reappear at will before they left the beach.  Kirkland was truly happy for Allen and Zachary although he worried for Zachary since the boy was afraid of showing his feelings for Allen.  Zachary’s soul was indeed wounded and it would take time to heal such wounds.

 

After brushing his teeth very good from the tobacco taste, Zachary got back on the phone with Allen who was waiting for him.

 

“I promised I would let you sleep my sweet Angel so we won’t talk more tonight.  However, do keep your ear by the phone so I can hear you sleeping and know you are well.”

 

Allen said to Zachary as Zachary settled into bed.

 

“Goodnight Allen.  I hope you can rest to.”

 

Zachary said and Allen waited for Zachary to fall asleep.  Tonight, Allen was going to work on healing that wounded soul as he spoke with his new now much lighter soul to let Zachary’s know he was protected and nothing more would harm him if Allen could prevent it.

 

Kirkland had really almost fucked everything up.  Allen had loved Kirkland, but Zachary was the one he truly loved and Allen did not know what he would have done if Zachary had refused to make the contract with him.   Trust was a big thing with his beautiful wounded Angel.  Allen would not break that trust no matter what.

 

As Benjamin climbed into bed tucking Allan in, he noted the change in Allen as Allen had not hidden his new white wings.  The little former demon was also nude without that interesting little outfit he usually wore.  Benjamin almost missed those tight leather clothes and those crazy high heeled boots as they had suited Allen’s personality.

 

Allen did not really rest or sleep, instead he concentrated directly on his Angel’s precious soul trying to heal all the hurt, the distrust, and the deep seeded pain.  For the soul to be bitter, angry, and a bit hateful was one thing, but a wounded soul was a fragile thing.  Allen blamed Richard for starting the wound, but noted that the wound had started with the loss of Zachary’s parents and family.  Being that Zachary was an orphan meant he desired family and the closeness of such.

 

Richard either knowing so or not had used that knowledge to build trust with a boy with a wounded soul.  In the act of taking Zachary’s virginity at such a young age then abandoning him, it left a gaping bleeding wound in the soul that never healed.  Trust had been broken and badly.  The one-person Zachary saw as his family had used him and thrown him away like refuse which pissed Allen off to no end.  This wound had to be repaired as the soul was bleeding to death.

 

Eventually, with a badly wounded soul it would affect the body especially the heart and mind.  Zachary’s very life force and physical self was deteriorating in the most painful of ways.  Even as a demon, Allen knew Zachary’s soul was a precious thing to be cherished as it was a rare soul.  Nothing pissed off a demon more than finding a rare soul like Zachary’s that had been wounded like this.  A demon normally would kill whatever caused the wound to heal the damage.

 

Zachary did not want the person who caused this terrible wound to die even if Allen knew that would heal most of the damage.  There were other wounds as well but those were not that hard to fix.  Zachary’s fears and running away every time a bad situation arose caused many small wounds.  If Allen had to, he would use force to make Zachary run to him for help.  Allen would be Zachary’s hero and savior.  Allen was saved by Zachary and now he would do anything for the man he loved.

 

It was going to take time to get the bleeding to stop, but he did slow it down a bit.  It was going to take all night to get the bleeding to a level where the soul was not in so much pain.  Allen knew that if those words I love you were thrown out again and Zachary was abandoned again the soul would be so wounded that it would completely bleed out in which Zachary physically would be effected so badly he would possibly die from heartache alone.   Allen refused to let that happen.

 

Allen also knew Zachary’s mental state was in anguish.  Zachary feared the things he should embrace all because people took advantage and hurt a truly sensitive caring loving man.  Allen was surprised the soul did not roar with hate as normally it would.  Everything about this soul echoed in pain.  It made Allen wonder how many other souls Richard had wounded intentional or not.  It wasn’t until Allen felt true love that he knew how powerful and extremely painful love could be.

 

Lia had always thrown out love as just another word to coerce and lie to get what she wanted.  Allen knew Lia fed on wounded souls and did not care about the souls she feasted on.  Harvesting souls took work and Allen worked to heal the souls he fed on so they were whole and complete.  Granting a wish was more than just making a dream happen, it took great care since Allen did learn from Kirkland how valuable a soul was even a filthy one.  A wounded soul did not make for a good feast, it left a demon hungry and wanting for more.   Allen had learned quickly the ways to make a meal last so he could find more worthy souls rather than just feasting on scraps.  Lia, being the bitch she was, ripped the best souls he had harvested from his body as if it were her right to do such a thing.  Being her mate was the worst thing that Kirkland had done to him.

 

Now that Allen was free he could finish his curse and destroy the bitch who had stolen from him using him to feed her fat disgusting ass.  To the public and perhaps to even some nonhumans Lia looked like a beautiful woman, but Allen had seen her true form and it was fat and repulsive.  Lia had become a squatter demon; a glutton and she was ugly as hell.

 

Zachary was beautiful and as a human his aura sparkled attracting Allen right away.  When Allen first met Zachary, he wanted to blow off such attraction as a fluke since the boy wanted to simply be friends and Allen had no time for that.  Allen knew now that had he let Zachary slip through his fingers he would have lost his one in a lifetime chance to be truly happy and free.

 

Allen as a demon and Angel knew this friendship thing Zachary was trying to do was a way to protect himself.  Zachary was already running away and did not even know it.  The scared little rabbit forgot how to fight and only knew how to flee.  Zachary was running out of places to hide and that frightened his wounded Angel.  There was some fight in Zachary, but it was going to take some serious work to get this silly little rabbit to stop running and start fighting for his life.

 

Allen had dealt with many frightened timid little humans that ran away all the time.  They bored him and there was no challenge to feeding on them.  Allen did not care for cowards.  Also, sweet could be very disgusting and annoying.

 

Zachary was sweet in a different way.  He also showed he had a backbone once in a while and this timid rabbit was fast at running since he had done it for so long.  Allen’s wounded Angel was good at hiding when he did not want to be found and so the chase was actually quite fun since it did challenge Allen as he was slowly opening up new things about Zachary who like a gift was full of surprises.  Allen also knew if he got his little rabbit to fight back Zachary would kick and scratch like a wild beast to get free.  Allen of course would never let go even if Zachary bit him, scratched him, and kicked him to try to escape.  Allen was fast and knew how to catch Zachary off guard slowly pulling him out of the burrow he had buried himself in to try and hide from the world.

 

Allen would take this frightened little bunny and soothe him, calm him, and make him feel safe.  Allen would stand over him to protect him from any enemy.  Eventually his little wounded Angel would be healed again feeling stronger and not so afraid to face the world as he would have his hero at his side making the whole perfect package of Zachary shine like the brightest star in the sky.

 

By morning Allen was exhausted from all of his work on Zachary’s soul but waited patiently for Zachary to wake.  Allen would have to feed soon so he hoped Zachary would wake soon.  Allen heard the tell-tell signs of Zachary’s breathing starting to speed up a bit meaning his dearest love would wake soon.  Allen refused to go feed until he said good morning to Zachary and heard that voice that he needed to hear just to function now during the day.

 

Slowly but surely, Allen heard Zachary wake and the sound of the alarm going off in the background.  Suddenly he heard Zachary get up and go to the bathroom first.  Zachary seemed to be in a bit of a rush to do that.  There was running of water and then Allen heard the door open.  Allen heard a bit of shuffling and then the dipping of the bed as Zachary grasped the phone.

 

“Allen, are you up?”

 

Zachary asked in a whisper as though he did not want to wake Allen if he had been sleeping.

 

“Good morning beautiful.”

 

Allen said with a wide grin.
