The Draglen Brothers Domlen (BK 6 ) by Solease M Barner (7)

DOMLEN

Why the hell did I do that? What was I thinking? Tempest is not mine and never will be. But last night I couldn’t stop myself, I felt compelled to check on her and make sure she was okay. I was worried her pack might try to blame her for my actions, especially after I injured so many of the guards before I left.

And where did I find her? At a damn party talking to Sam, Corbin’s Beta. I was so fucking mad when I saw her with that sanctimonious young prick. I got no rest at all last night after returning home. Fuck, I’m still pissed and so is my beast. I spent the entire morning flying, hoping it would settle us both. I need to calm the fuck down, somehow get myself and my beast under control.

Maybe Tempest is right. I am acting like a crazy person. I don’t know why I’m behaving this way. I can’t really explain it. I don’t understand why I feel this way toward Tempest and I have no idea why I revealed myself to her last night in the bathroom. I have more important things I should be focusing on, like finding my missing sister. The entire kingdom is in an uproar and things are not likely to get any better until Princess Beauka is found and returned home.

It looks like my afternoon won’t be much better than my morning. I’m on my way to a meeting called by Draken for all the brothers, their Wellas, and anyone who might have information on Beauka’s disappearance. This is total bullshit. I don’t have time for this and I certainly don’t have time to be watching a she-wolf, not even one as beautiful as Tempest. I should be finding a new Giver rather than having to deal with this crap. As I walk through the halls, the servants take one look at me and scramble to get out of my way

I haven’t told anyone yet, but I did see Beauka the night of Gemi and Shalisi’s wedding. She was talking to someone near the outer edge of the garden but I couldn’t see who it was. That was the same night I left for Earth to begin my search for Tempest. It was just before I went through the portal so I was in a hurry and didn’t have time to investigate. I never dreamed she would pull a stunt like this. When I found out about her disappearance, I truly believed she would have returned by now, but she hasn’t. No one has heard a word from her, or if they have, they aren’t talking. My mother nor my brother, Layern, has been able to see her in their visions, which makes me believe someone is helping her to stay hidden. It sounds to me like magic may be involved.

I hurry inside the family meeting room and see Draken and Cess with their new twin heirs, both playing and gurgling happily on the floor nearby. Warton and Bree are sitting off to one side, talking and looking at some sort of book. Layern and Reseda have already taken their places at the table, but those two can never keep their hands off each other. I don’t even want to think about what they’re doing under the table. Hawken is sitting quietly by himself over in the corner, his features strained and distraught. I don’t see Showken, but that doesn’t surprise me since I know he and Marilyn have been trying for another Young. They’re probably off somewhere humping like bunnies. Gemi and Shalisi are also noticeably absent, but I assume they’re still on their honeymoon. Fewton waves me over to sit with him and Brumen.

“Did anyone see Showken on your way here?” Draken asks, his voice filled with agitation.

I glance over at him, the anger evident on his face. I know Draken is distraught over Beauka’s disappearance, but hell, we all are. With Draken being the oldest of my brothers and our father’s successor, there’s a lot of pressure on him. He’s already assumed many of King Dramen’s responsibilities, so I know this weighs heavily on him.

Showken needs to get his ass in here so we can get this show on the road. I have things to do other than dealing with this shitstorm. Our baby sister’s little stunt has caused a lot of trouble and I won’t tolerate it.

Layern whispers something to Reseda, then looks over at Draken. “Showken and Marilyn should be arriving right about…. and here they are,” he quips with a cheesy smirk.

Showken calmly strolls into the room, his right arm around Marilyn’s waist and his left slung over his young son’s shoulders.  I can’t believe how quickly Showlyn is growing. He’s so smart for his age…sometimes, too smart for his own good, which leads to a lot of mischief. He sees the twins and grins happily, rushing over to get their attention.

The reason for this meeting may be a solemn one, but none of us can resist smiling as we watch the next generation of Draglens. Draken and Showken seem so happy since they found their Wellas and even more so since their Youngs were born. Even Warton and Layern have changed since mating with their Wellas. I can hardly believe how much more mellow Warton has become since he and Bree have been together. I never pictured any of my brothers settling down with families, but I see the look of contentment on their faces. I never thought it possible, but strangely, I think I envy their happiness. Sometimes, it makes me think there’s something missing from my life, something I can’t identify. But the things I desire… no, the things I need… are vastly different from those of my brothers. I don’t believe that kind of happiness is in the cards for me.

Draken’s loud voice jerks me from my thoughts.

“I need everyone’s attention. I have the entire kingdom on high alert. I want Beauka found and returned home, immediately!”

“Brother, I know you’re upset but dial it down. We have Youngs in the room,” Showken says, looking angrily at Draken.

“If everyone is finally here, let’s get started,” Brumen rumbles. I see the women in the room shiver. Brumen’s deep voice does that to everyone.

Suddenly, Hawken raises his head and says quietly, “I don’t think Beauka was abducted. I think she just wanted to get away and left on her own. I know, sometimes, that is what I want to do.”

“I don’t see how that’s possible, Hawken. Some of us, if not all, would have known had Beauka just left the kingdom on her own, especially Queen Nala. You know our mother has a way of knowing everything and yet, even she has no clue as to what happened. Something is very wrong about this whole thing,” Draken responds decisively.

I glance around at all the faces in the room but remain silent, waiting to see if anyone else had seen anything the night she disappeared. I know I saw her that night but I’m hoping some of the others did as well. I’m closer to Beauka than any of my brothers. I know and understand her desire to see and experience life outside the palace, away from the suffocating influence of our family. I’d rather not say anything, but I may be forced to do so if no one else has any information.

“I think the queen is going to string us all up by our tails if the royal blood Draglen Princess is not returned home soon,” Layern interjects. And the sad part, he’s not kidding or exaggerating. Our mother will have all our hides, literally, if Beauka’s not found soon.

I was hoping Layern would speak up with something, possibly he’d had some sort of vision and knew Beauka was going to leave, but he remained silent. I wait several seconds to see if anyone else would volunteer any information but nothing. It looks like it falls to me to step up and reveal what little I knew. I need to move this meeting along. I have things to do, like finding a new Giver, but first I need to check in on Tempest to make sure she’s okay. I might as well get this over with.

“I saw her the night of the celebration,” I blurt out. The room goes silent as everyone turns their attention to me.

Layern and Showken frown as Draken narrows his eyes at me.

“Domlen, if you know something, don’t beat around the fucking bush. Spit it out,” Draken demands.

Draken can be such an asshole. I growl in response to his churlish behavior but continue, “You don’t have to be so rude, brother. Look, I was a little distracted that night myself. I was scheduled to leave for Earth and was in a hurry but was delayed by a confrontation with Tika. I had to terminate her services as my Giver but before I left, I did see Beauka,”

Everyone continues to stare as Layern and Draken stand abruptly and begin shouting in the old language of our people.

“ENOUGH!” I growl, then sigh loudly. “I saw her at the outer edge of the garden as I was leaving. She was talking to someone but I couldn’t see who it was and I couldn’t make out what they were saying. She didn’t appear to be in any danger and there was nothing to indicate she was leaving. Had I known what was going on, I would have stopped her. I don’t believe she has come to any harm, so everyone calm the fuck down. I’m sure we’ll find her.

“Why haven’t you said something before now, Domlen?” Draken asks angrily.

“In case you haven’t noticed, I’ve been a little busy with my own problems, brother. I didn’t realize it was important. Besides, this is the first opportunity I’ve had to share this information.”

“Fewton and Showken, go to her room and look for anything that may give us any information about where she went and why we can’t track her. And Domlen, you go with them,” Draken booms.

“Why the hell do you want me to go, Draken? It shouldn’t take three of us to search. I could be useful elsewhere,” Showken retorts irritably.

“Just do it, and stop questioning my orders. I need you to report back to me as soon as possible. At this point, I can’t trust anyone else,” Draken replies, staring directly at me.

“You know, brother, you don’t frighten me. If you think Showken or Fewton can control me, you are mistaken,” I challenge.

Draken moves toward me, but Cess quickly places a hand on his arm. He looks down at her and she shakes her head, then looks at the twins. Both have stopped their happy gurgles to look at their father.

I stand and storm out of the room. I move hurriedly toward Beauka’s suite of rooms, Fewton and Showken following closely behind. I need to get this done and return to Earth. I know I said I wouldn’t, but I want to check on Tempest. No, that’s not entirely accurate… I have this uncontrollable need to check on her. I seem to have no self-control when it comes to the beautiful little she-wolf. And the longer I stay away, the greater the chance that young pup will have to try to seduce her. Yeah, yeah, I know I said I didn’t care what she does, but I’m making it my business. It may not be my place, but only I will decide when it’s time for her to move on.

Surprisingly, the door is unlocked and swings open. I look inside but nothing appears to be out of place. Everything looks neat and orderly, just the way Beauka likes it. Fewton, Showken, and I stand in the doorway, hesitant to enter. Beauka may be younger, but I think all of us are a little afraid of her. Even when we were Youngs, Beauka has always been strange and a little frightening. She’s threatened all of us at one time or another, and Beauka is not one to make idle threats. We’ve always known better than to enter her private quarters. She may not be here, but she wouldn’t like us invading her privacy. Yeah, I’ll admit, it scares the shit out of me.  Showken motions for me and Fewton to enter ahead of him.

Fewton looks over at Showken and teases, “Don’t be a coward, brother.”

“I’m not a fucking coward, you wanna-be-player. That’s like the pot calling the kettle black. You’re just as afraid as I am. We all know she likes to leave traps for anyone who dares to snoop into her things. I don’t need this crap. I have a Wella and a Young I should be looking after,” Showken snipes back.

“Wanna-be? There’s nothing wanna-be about me, brother,” Fewton snaps back.

“Stop! Are the two of you finished?”  I demand and then add, “Both of you are acting like you’re still Youngs. “

They narrow their eyes and give me a cold glare. I don’t care if it pisses them off. I need to find something that will help us find Beauka, sooner rather than later, so I can get back to Earth. I need to see Tempest.

I cautiously move further into the room and look around, then turn to my brothers and say, “Fewton, search the desk and nightstand. Showken, you look around in her closet. I’ll go through her dresser and bureau.”

I carefully sift through the contents looking for any clues that might help us. Just when I’d almost given up, in the last drawer I see five jars containing herbs for Beauka’s teas. But upon closer inspection, I realize the contents of the last container is different. I pull it out and place it on the table nearby.

Fewton turns to look at the jar, then shakes his head. “Have you found something, brother? If that’s some of Beauka’s crazy tea, I’m not touching it. You need to be careful. That shit will knock you out cold for days.”

“I don’t think this is tea. I think it’s a clue,” I reply, looking more closely at the contents.

“She’s definitely not doing this shit alone, and when I find out who’s helping her, I’m going to break their neck,” Showken grumbles.

I remove the lid and pour the contents on the table. Fewton and Showken step closer. There’s no way to miss the distinct smell… fire.

“This is not tea, guys. I’m pretty sure it’s ashes. The little minx has burned something. It looks like it might have been paper. If it was important enough to burn, it must be something she didn’t want us to find. Now, we know she’s done all this on purpose.”  I poke the contents with my finger and dab it to my tongue, then continue, “it’s definitely paper.”

“What do you think was on the paper, Domlen, and why would she have burned it?” Showken asks.

“We’re all expert trackers and have always been able to track anyone, especially our blood, yet none of us can find her. Maybe, whatever was on this paper has something to do with how she’s been able to stay hidden from us,” I answer, my mind working furiously, trying to think what it could have been and who would have assisted her.

“Well, shit! The queen is going to search the entire universe for her,” Fewton says angrily.

Don’t ask me how I know, but I know Beauka is on Earth. This is my opportunity to kill two birds with one stone. I can return to Earth to search for my sister and see Tempest as well. I know I frightened her in the bathroom, but I can’t stand the thought of her seeing that pup. It’s pissing me off. Ever since I had my fingers in her tight little pussy, I can’t stop thinking about how it would feel to bury my cock inside her. I know I said I would never take her virginity, but I feel like she’s mine, and I cannot allow someone to take something that belongs to me. I may not want it, but he damn sure can’t have her. Yeah, I know it sounds crazy but I can’t explain it.

“I need to go back to Earth. I’ll search for Beauka alone, brothers.” I turn and walk to the door.

“Why are you going alone?” Fewton asks.

Showken looks at me quizzically and I know he suspects something. He’s going to run and tell Draken. Showken and Draken have always been close. Damn tattletale!

“Well for one, if she smells anyone other than me, she will attack. And two, she’s obviously upset about something and I’m closer to her than any of you,” I reason.

I don’t have time to wait around for Showken to report back to Draken. I’ve already wasted an entire day. It’s already past midnight where Tempest lives on Earth.

“Wait, you can’t leave like this, Domlen,” Showken protests.

I ignore his request, pull out my portal and press the button. Thankfully, I land exactly where I’ve wanted to be all day…. right outside Tempest’s bedroom window.

She’s already asleep and thank heavens, she’s alone. There are no lights but I have no difficulty seeing her inside the darkened room. She has kicked the covers down to the foot of the bed, revealing her lush curves. And fuck me, she’s wearing only a thin t-shirt that has ridden up to her waist and no panties. I can see the outline of her nipples through the shirt and her sweet pussy is bare.

Heaven help me!

The moon is almost full, casting a silver glow across her enticing body. She looks almost surreal, like a beautiful angel. But my lovely little temptress writhes restlessly in her sleep. She lowers one hand and cups her mound, then visibly relaxes. I wonder if she’s dreaming of me.

If this is the garden of Eden and I’m being tested, then give me the damn apple!

I use my device to transport directly into her bedroom and take a seat in a chair near her bed. As I sit and watch her sleep, I feel so conflicted, both happy and angry. I’m happy to see her, but angry because I know she left the party with Sam last night. I don’t think she feels the same way toward him that she does me. I can sense the way her body reacts to me and I can smell how aroused she becomes when she’s near me. I don’t believe she truly desires him, but I need to know for sure.

I know I’m playing dirty but I always do. I begin sending arousing images into her mind. First, I show her on the bed in my dungeon, her wrists and ankles bound to the posts at each corner. I follow it with another image of me slipping two fingers inside her tight channel, her eyes open and lock on mine as her hips rock against my hand. She groans softly in her sleep and her back arches off the bed. I surround her with my smell and see her breaths quicken to short pants. She moans loudly and by the dragon gods, I want to hear more. Tempest is an addiction growing inside me, but one I should not feed… she’s a fire I can never stoke, a need to which I can never succumb. She’s a wolf and a virgin, two valid reasons we can never be together, but I can’t stop myself. I want her to desire me and only me.

Am I an asshole? Absolutely!

I pull back from her dreams and she whimpers, “Don’t stop, Domlen.”

I tilt my head to get a better look at her face. Her eyes are still closed and I realize she’s talking in her sleep. Remember when I said I was an asshole? Well, make that an arrogant greedy asshole.

I know I’m taking a huge risk. Soon, the pack guards will detect my presence and sense trouble. Well, call me trouble, but I can’t resist answering her.

“Beg me, Tempest,” I command.

“Please, touch me, Domlen,” she pleads softly.

“If you want me to touch you, you must beg harder, my lovely little wolf.”

“Please, Domlen. Please, please, please touch me like you did before,” she whispers, her voice laced with sleep and arousal.

“I spanked you before. Do you want that, too?” I demand.

“Yessss!” she hisses loudly.

I feel my body heat as my cock hardens painfully in my pants.

“Open your legs, Tempest,” I command.

Her knees bend and fall to either side, revealing the evidence of her arousal glistening on the curls between her legs.

“Touch me,” she demands and I smile at her boldness, even in her sleep.

“Don’t be so impatient, my lovely. Patience is a virtue,” I reprimand.

I stand and lean over the bed, then brush my hand over her mound. I think I’ve died and gone to heaven. With her legs now open, the scent of her arousal is stronger and so intoxicating. It smells delicious, sweet, fruity, and irresistible, better and more potent than anything I’ve ever experienced.

Kill me now!

I take two fingers and swipe them through her slick folds, then place them on her beautiful swollen clit, engorged by her arousal. I roll the hardened nub slowly between my fingertips, then begin gently tapping it in a short staccato rhythm. A strange sound builds and reverberates from her throat, almost like a purr. A purr? A wolf doesn’t purr, do they?

I want to hear it again… no, I desperately need to hear it again so I increase the pressure and speed of my movements. I’m rewarded with another loud moan and purr. I know I shouldn’t do it and more importantly, I don’t deserve it, but I can’t resist. I lean down further and take a big lick. Delicious! And because I’m greedy, I take another lick, and another, plundering her sweet little pussy with my tongue, like the arrogant entitled dragon I am. Her body arches off the bed and I take even more, feasting on her sweet essence to get my fill.

“Yes! Please don’t stop!” she cries.

I bring her to the edge but pull back before she tips over. She doesn’t deserve an orgasm after leaving the party with Sam. I will withhold it from her as her punishment, but I want her to know it was me who has brought her this much pleasure. My rules… My way.

“Tempest, wake up,” I command, straightening, and quickly stepping away. She opens her eyes and blinks, then looks around the room. Her eyes widen in shock when she sees me standing by the bed. She gazes at me questioningly and I flash her a devilish grin. She sits up suddenly, her expression immediately morphing into one of pure rage. If heated looks could kill, I’d be overcooked and dead, but dying with my tongue inside her sweet pussy would be so worth it. What a way to go! I don’t like to brag, okay I do, but I’m quite pleased with my performance. I do believe my little experiment was a resounding success. There’s no doubt, Tempest Shellin still has the hots for me!

“WHY THE FUCK DID YOU DO THAT?” she screams angrily.

Fuck me, she’s beautiful when she’s mad. What a woman!
