What Happens In Italy...: A BWWM Billionaire Romance (International Alphas Book 2) by Kendra Riley (30)

The Final Chapter

The days that followed were exactly what Jake had always dreamed of. He and Savannah were going over every detail of the house, picking out paint colors and furniture. He had enough of his ill-gotten gains left to allow her to pick out anything she wanted, especially since her taste ran more towards the comfortable than the extravagant. Often they worked together, with Brian nearby in a bassinet.

It was a few days later, when in a rare moment he and Savannah were separated, that things began to unravel. She was off with her mother to pick out a wedding dress. She had insisted that she could wear any of the lighter colored dresses that she already had since it was to be a small affair, but her mother had insisted.

He was out in their new garage, organizing things to start his motorcycle repair business, when he heard a group of bikes pull in to their driveway. Curious, he wiped his hands on his jeans and headed outside. There, to his surprise, sat his brothers idling on their bikes.

"Well, did you all miss me that quickly?" he asked with a smile. He was so excited to see them all that he didn't immediately realize the threat they presented to his future.

"Life was too dull without you, brother," Brian said as he jumped off his bike.

"Yes, do show us your little slice of paradise," Reese said with a smirk.

"Come on in," Jake said as he turned for the house, eager to get the motley crew off the street. With their pictures hanging outside of the sheriff's office, there was no telling who might put the clues together and realize who they really were.

"Where is your family?" asked his youngest brother.

"Off making wedding plans," he said with a sentimental look on his face that caused all of his brothers to laugh out loud.

"All ready soft," Reese teased.

"As whipped as could be," joked another as they all filed in to the living room and made themselves at home.

"I don't mind a bit," Jake said as he opened the fridge and started passing out beers.

"You have sure done well for yourself in a short amount of time," Brian observed as he propped up his feet.

"I think so," Jake said, trying to decide exactly how he would introduce everyone to Savannah when she returned home.

"We tried a job without you," Brian explained.

"How did it go?" Jake asked, though he could tell be their faces that it had not gone well.

"Not well," Brian said as he crossed his arms over his chest.

"Piss poor," Reese added as he cracked open his beer.

"I'm sorry to hear that," Jake answered, shaking his head.

"Not as sorry as we were. We made off with two hundred dollars and nearly got clipped by the police twice on our way out of town," Brian said, looking at Jake accusingly. It was then that Jake realized why they had truly come.

"We need you, kid," Reese added, sounding the most sincere he had in his entire life.

"I told you guys, I'm out. I have a family. You all told me to go on and have my life," he said defensively.

"We did and we do want you to be happy," said his youngest brother.

"But," Brian added, “we thought we could do it without you and we were wrong. Nobody is a better scout than you. Reese tried and almost got us all locked up. We need you to play your part."

"We all talked about it," another brother added.

"If you scout and plan for us, you will not have to come on the actual jobs. You will not have to worry about getting arrested or anything."

"Plus," Reese said, "you're going to need money to keep up this life and make your wife and kid happy."

"I have a plan for that," Jake said, not sure how to tell his brothers that he would never again help them.

"And what is that?" Reese demanded.

"I'm going to open a bike shop," he said, proud to tell them how he planned to spend his future.

"In this town?" Brian asked skeptically.

"Yes," Jake said, trying to keep himself calm.

“They are never going to accept you here. How can you even consider trudging through work every day when you could just keep working with us?” Reese demanded, his eyes bright with anger.

“I'm going to have my own business. I'm going to be a member of this community. They all love Savannah and they love our son. They will accept me once I prove myself,” Jake said, angry at the suggestion that his dream might be out of his reach.

“You keep telling yourself that,” Reese said angrily.

“That is enough fighting. Scout, you know that you belong with us. You would be bored as hell living the same life as these small town people. I'm not saying that you should not build a life with your woman and your son. I'm saying that you will be able to build a better life if you keep working with us. Think it over,” Brian advised, his hand on Jake’s shoulder.

“When do you want my answer?” he asked, considering for the first time that it might be the best way to support his family.

“We are going to do the job that we originally planned in this town and we are going to do it tomorrow night. We need you with us. You know this town better than any of us could in such a short amount of time,” Brian explained, his expression stony and cold.

“I thought that you didn't need me to go on the actual jobs with you?” Jake asked, realizing that they were never going to let him move on from the life of crime that they had all enjoyed for so long.

“This job is different. We need you with us on this one. The rest you can just do recon. It isn't like anyone will be the wiser. Do this for us and the rest will be a piece of cake. You will only need to plan. You will never have to participate again,” he said, so sincerely that Jake almost believed him.

He thought, then, of Savannah and of her family. Her brother would realize in a second if he was involved and Savannah’s ex, Tony, was a cop too. He would fill him with bullets and spit on his corpse to get him out of Savannah’s life.

“I will think it over. You all need to go, though. Savannah will be home soon and I don't want her asking too many questions. If I do this, she can never know about it. It would hurt her too much,” he said thoughtfully.

“We understand that completely,” Brian answered. “When can we meet your woman and my namesake, though?”

“The wedding is in a few days. I would like you all to be there and I know that she would like it too. It's going to be at an old abandoned church outside of town. Let me write down the address and the time for all of you,” he said as he reached for a notebook.

“Your woman and her family will not mind us crashing?” another brother asked.

“No, she has been feeling bad for days that I wasn't going to have any family there. Besides, her family are religious folks. They wouldn't forbid anyone from coming to a church,” he explained.

“Why is it in an abandoned church and not the church in the town? Do they not allow sinners there?” Reese asked with a laugh.

“It's a special place for Savannah and I,” he said, reluctant to say more. He wanted to keep what was between Savannah and him in that church private.

“We look forward to meeting her and your son,” Brian said. “I hope that you will be with us tomorrow night. Meet us at the motel. You know the one. It will all be fine and we will all be able to give you quite the wedding present.”

“I will consider it,” he said as they all walked towards the door. As his brothers mounted their bikes and drove off, he couldn't help but think about how much easier things would be for him if he rode with them the next day. He would never be short of money and he could give Savannah and their son all the best of what life had to offer.

More importantly, though, he wouldn't lose his brothers. He wasn't foolish enough to think that their relationship wouldn't change completely if he didn't join them the next day. He couldn't imagine a life without his brothers, but he wasn't sure that he was prepared to risk his future with Savannah for anything, even them.

Minutes later, Savannah returned. She parked her car and pulled Brian from his car seat. Jake walked over to meet her and kissed her passionately before taking Brian from her arms and kissing him on the cheek.

“What was that for,” she asked with a laugh.

“I just missed you,” he said with a sigh.

“Maybe I should spend time away more often if that is the kind of reception that I get when I come home,” she said, wrapping her arms around him tightly.

“No, I don't like it when you're not here. Everything feels wrong,” he admitted, his voice heavy with emotions.

“What is wrong?” she asked, concern in her beautiful eyes.

“I just saw my brothers,” he said, studying her face as he spoke to see what her reaction would be. All he saw, though, was disappointment.

“I cannot believe that I missed them. I wanted to know them and I was so eager for them to meet our son. Have they left town already?” she asked. There was no suspicion or anger in her voice. Only a desire to know those who he loved.

“They have, but they are coming back. I invited them to the wedding and they are going to try to be there,” he said, relieved by the broad smile that spread across her face as he spoke.

“That is the best news! Oh Jake, I'm so happy! Will they be your groomsmen?” she asked, her eyes sparking with tears of joy. She knew what his brothers meant to him and she respected that. All she wanted was his happiness and that made him love her even more.

“They are not really the groomsmen type,” he said with a laugh, picturing his brothers in suits standing at the altar with him.

“But they are coming,” she said with a sigh of relief.

“Have I told you lately how much I love you?”  he asked as he bent down to kiss her again.

“You told me this morning, but I never tire of hear it,” she teased as she lifted the baby from her arms and kissed him on the cheek.

“I love you,” he said as he watched her there, holding their baby in her arms in front of their home.

“And I love you. Are you sure nothing is wrong? Your thoughts feel far away,” she said, looking deep in to his eyes as she spoke.

“Everything is fine,” he said, taking her hand in his.

“You know that I have all the faith in the world in you, right?” she asked, studying his expression.

“I'm not entirely sure that I deserve that,” he whispered.

“You don't have to be sure. I'm sure. That is all that matters,” she said with a smile that lit up his entire world. In that moment, he knew that he couldn't join his brothers the next day. He couldn't jeopardize his relationship with Savannah for anything. His brothers were his family, but she and his son were his whole world.

“I don't know what I did to deserve you,” he said with a smile as he pulled her and his son close.

“You deserve to be happy. After a hard life, I think the universe is rewarding you for being the amazing person that you are,” she said, laying her head on his shoulder. It was then that he knew that he couldn't just stay away from his brothers.

He owed her more than that. He owed the town that was now his home more than that. He needed to protect his new home and his relationships there. It had not occurred to him before that someone could get hurt if things went sideways and that person could very well be her brother.

“I promise to make you as happy as you make me,” he promised.

“You already do,” she said with a smile.

“I think I need to make some peace with your brother. Where could I find him?” he asked, knowing what he needed to do.

“I don't know that is the best idea,” she said, clearly nervous about what they might both say to each other without her there to keep the peace.

“It is. I promise you, it's for the best,” he said, kissing her on top of the head.

“I'm glad that you're going to reach out to him. He will respect that,” she said with a hopeful look on her face.

“Let’s hope that you still feel that way when it's done,” he said with a chuckle.

“This time of day, he is probably at his house. He has a workshop out back where he does his woodworking. That is probably where you will find him,” she explained.

“Well, I better get going before I lose my nerve,” he said, unable to believe what he was really about to do. He was actually going to go to an officer of the law and rat out his brothers. He wasn't at all sure what he would say, but he knew that it had to be done.

With that, he went to his bike and took off. If he delayed any more, he knew that he would lose his will to do it entirely. The entire ride to her brother’s house, he thought over and over what he would say. He didn't want to betray his brothers and have them arrested.

He just needed to make sure that they didn't pull off a job in his town. Jake still had not come up with a plan when he arrived at Sam’s house, but he parked his bike and headed around back anyway.

It didn't take him long to find Sam in his workshop, exactly where Savannah had told him he would be.

“Samuel,” he called out as he knocked on the door.

“Jake?” Sam asked, rather shocked to see his sister’s fiancé standing at his doorway.

“Can we talk?” he asked, still not sure what to say.

“Come on in,” Sam said, confused about what Jake might have to talk to him about.

“Thanks,” he said, walking over and leaning against Samuel’s work bench.

“Can I get you a drink or something?” he asked, taking his seat again and waiting for Jake to start whatever conversation he had come to have.

“No, I'm good,” Jake said, running his hand through his hair as he prepared to speak.

“Look, if you're here to get my blessing before your marriage, you don't need it. I trust Savannah. You and I might not know each other, but I know her and I trust her. That is all that I need to accept her decision,” Samuel explained.

“Thank you for that, but that isn't why I'm here,” he answered, his heartbeat pounding in his ears as he tried to find the words to explain what he knew.

“Then what?” he asked, looking suspicious. It was then that Jake realized just what he needed to say to keep both his town and his brothers safe.

“Look, you know I'm opening a bike shop, right?” he asked.

“Sure. My mom and sister were telling me about it the other day. It's a good plan. Nobody in town really services bikes,” he said, looking confused.

“Well, a group of riders came through today. I'm not sure how they found out about me. I don't even have a sign up yet. They needed a few of their bikes serviced. I overheard them talking about trying to rob the bank in town tomorrow night. I figured you were the right person to tell about it,” he said, forgiving himself for the small lie. Other than how the men had come to his home, it was the truth.

“They talked about it boldly, right in front of you?” Sam asked, his suspicions not eased.

“Yes. Maybe they were legitimate or maybe they were full of hot air. I just couldn't sit by and do nothing,” Jake said, unwilling to provide any more details.

“It's worth being safe,” Sam admitted. “I will talk to the sheriff and see if we can’t increase patrols around the bank for the next few days.”

“Thanks,” Jake said, relieved. He knew his brothers well enough to know that they wouldn't try the job if they noticed any policemen in the area.

“Why didn’t you come to see me at the office?” Sam asked.

“I wasn't eager to run in to your friend Tony again,” he explained.

“I cannot blame you for that,” he said, shaking his head at the memory of what had happened at the courthouse a few days before.

“Well, I better get back to the house. Savannah is over there with Brian. We are working on the nursery,” he said, turning and heading for the door.

“Before you go, there is something that I want you to know,” Sam said.

“What is that?” he asked, stopping at the door.

“I'm glad that my sister has you. I might not be thrilled about the way you two came together, but I know you love her,” he answered.

“Thank you,” Jake said, stunned by Sam’s words. The entire ride home, he thought about what his brother-in-law had said. The acceptance that he felt shook him to his core.

The next day, he and Savannah continued to work away at the nursery. However, his thoughts were consumed by his brothers and what was to come that night. He knew they would be hurt when he didn't come to meet them, but that wouldn't have been enough to deter them from committing their robbery. He had done what he needed to do to prevent it, now all he could hope for was that they were smart enough to walk away from the robbery and not land themselves in jail.

It wasn't until late that night when his phone rang that he got his answer. He had expected it to be Brian, calling him out for his betrayal. Instead, it was Samuel’s voice on the other end of the line when he answered.

“Hello,” Jake said when he answered.

“Jake?” the voice on the other end asked.

“Yes,” he said, not entirely sure what else to say.

“This is Sam. I just wanted to let you know what happened tonight,” he said.

“Did it turn out to be nothing?” Jake asked, keenly aware that he had heard no sirens coming from the direction of the bank.

“No, it was something. The boys and I kept an eye on the bank. The same group of guys on motorcycles cruised by a dozen times. Each time they caught sight of us, they drove off, circling back about half an hour later. I don't doubt that if we had not beefed up security, they would have tried to rob the bank. You did the right thing by telling me,” Sam explained.

“I'm glad it all worked out,” Jake said, so relieved that his brothers were still free and his new town was safe.

“So am I,” Sam said.

“Well, I will see you at the wedding then,” Jake said, finally feeling as if his future was secure. Still, he couldn't help but ache at the thought that his brothers must now hate him. They might not know that he was the cause of the increased police presence, but they knew he had not joined them. He couldn't imagine them forgiving him for that.

“Yes, I will see you then,” Sam said before hanging up.

When the day of the wedding arrived, Jake couldn't contain his excitement. In anticipation of the ceremony, he and Savannah planned to stay separated the entire day until the evening when the ceremony began. Since he had returned to town, they had not spent a full day apart. The distance between them, even though it was temporary, was difficult for him. Having her by his side was such a source of calmness for him.

He was so eager to marry her and truly live with her as husband and wife. He had not laid his hands on her sexually since the night he had returned. It had been his idea, to make the night of their wedding all the more sweet. Still, now that the evening was upon them he felt as though he might jump out of his skin at the thought of entering her once more. Each day he spent by her side, he ached for her more and more.

He knew that she was off with her mother and her friends putting the finishing touches on the church. Then, her plan was to stay at her parents’ house and get dressed for the ceremony. He had offered to help at the church, but had been ordered to stay away for fear that he would see her before the ceremony began. Instead, he stayed at home and dressed by himself.

It was a moment where he would very much have liked to have his brother’s by his side, but he knew that it wasn't possible, especially after what he had done. He had been forced to choose between his two worlds and he didn't regret choosing Savannah, but he was heart sick over the fact that they would never forgive him for what they would see as a betrayal.

What Jake didn't realize was that his brothers were, at that very moment, on their way towards the abandoned church. It had not taken them long after abandoning their attempted robbery the night before to realize that the increased police presence was no coincidence.

Reese had been the first to suggest it and the others, no matter how hard they tried, couldn't deny it. All of their recon had suggested that the patrols of that side of town happened every hour. Each time they drove by, though, a cop was right outside the bank. They had been betrayed and they knew that it was Jake who had done it.

They had been initially divided on how to respond. Some had suggested that they just ride off, but Brian and Reese were so hurt that they couldn't allow his betrayal to stand unanswered.

After they had all decided to respond with a betrayal they saw as equal to his own, ruining the wedding was the only option. He had given them the address and the time of the ceremony. They decided to arrive early and wreck his plans as he had wrecked theirs.

When they arrived, though, they found more than they had expected. Instead of an abandoned church, they saw a beautiful girl playing with a baby boy in the yard outside of the church.

Savannah had sent her mother and friends off to get some rest. It seemed only right to her that she spend some time alone with her son before the wedding. After all, it had begun as just the two of them and she needed him to know that he was still the most important thing in her life. As nobody ever came up to the abandoned church, especially on vehicles, the sound of motorcycles startled her. For a moment, she thought it was Jake breaking their deal to stay apart for the day, but she soon realized that it was far too many bikes to be Jake alone. When she looked up, she knew in an instant that it was his brothers.

As they dismounted their bikes, each of the brothers turned to look at Brian so that they could follow his lead. Unfazed, he walked towards the church, hell bent on getting his vengeance. What he didn't count on was the fact that the small baby in the woman’s arms had Jake’s eyes and reminded him of how his old friend had looked when he was a young boy, scared and alone in their foster home. He forced himself to look away from the child.

When his gaze fell on Savannah, though, he was shocked yet again. He had expected to see fear or anxiety. Instead, he saw excitement and relief on her beautiful face and he wasn't sure how to react to it. He didn't have long to decide though, because she sat the baby in a small play pen she had set up and began to walk towards them.

“Are you his brothers?” she asked, smiling so warmly at them all that none of them could bring themselves to answer her with the aggressive tone they had planned. Instead, all simply nodded and looked at her as though she was some kind of unearthly thing.

“Yes, we are Jake’s brothers,” Brian said, his voice cold. By calling them his brothers, she had brought back the pain of betrayal that he had felt when he realized that Jake had not only abandoned them, but also warned the authorities of their plans.

“Oh I'm so glad you're here,” she said, shocking each of the men when she threw her arms around Brian’s neck. None were more shocked than him, though. He froze as she embraced him warmly as a brother.

“Were is Jake?” Reese asked, trying to keep himself immersed in his own anger.

“Did he not tell you? I banished him from the church until the ceremony. I know it seems so old fashioned, but I think it's important that we don't see each other before the ceremony. He has already had such darkness in his life. I just think that we need to start our marriage with as much positive energy and good luck on our side as we can.

That is why I'm so glad that you have all come today. I know that it's because of all of you that he had any family at all. Thank you so much for all that you have done for him. I know that you're all the family in the world that he has ever had. Thank you for loving him,” she said with tears welling in her eyes.

“We have all done what we could to support each other,” Brian said, trying to hold on to his anger so that he could seek his revenge. It was hard though, with Savannah standing in front of him, not to understand why Jake had made the choice that he did.

“You have done more than that. You're all the reason that he is the man that he is, the man that I love. I really cannot thank you enough,” she said, her smile so warm that they could each feel their anger fading away.

“You really love him, don’t you?” Peter asked, an expression of awe on his face.

“Very much,” she said, looking at his quizzically.

“The he is a very lucky man,” added Reese. The look on his face was also one of amazement. Clearly, his brother’s had doubted that she could love him as they did. Now, though, it was hard to deny that she cared for him more than anyone ever had. “I know that I should wait for Jake for this,” she said, “ but I don't think I can stand to wait. Would you all like to meet our son?”

“Very much,” Brian said, though he was still working hard to keep his emotions in check. He wasn't one who wore his feelings on his sleeve. That confirmation was all that she needed though. Savannah turned quickly and gathered up the baby who was happily giggling and babbling away as she carried him towards them.

“This is Brian. I'm guessing that you're the original Brian,” she said as she smiled back at him.

“That I am,” he said, grinning down at the baby as though he himself was his father.

“Would you like to hold him,” she said as she held the baby out to him.

“Very much,” he said as he swept the baby up in his arms. Though he had long suppressed that part of himself, Brian had a soft spot for babies. When they were brought in to their foster home, he had always helped to care for them.

“He looks so much like Jake,” Reese said as he stepped up beside them.

“Yes, he does,” Peter and the others echoed as they gathered around.

“He does,” she said with a fond smile. “Looking like his daddy is all that kept me from going mad during these last few months without him in our lives. Every time I looked at our son, I knew that I would always have a part of Jake with me,” she said, her eyes bright with tears at the memory of those emotions.

“I don't think I have ever seen a sweeter baby,” Brian said as she held the little boy close.

“I agree, but I may be a little biased,” she said with a laugh.

“We are so sorry. We should not be bothering you on your wedding day,” Reese said, turning a bit shy around Savannah.

“Don't be silly. You see, Jake and I made a deal that we wouldn't see each other today and I have been going mad from missing him. Getting to finally meet you all and being surrounded by Jake’s family has made it much easier to tolerate,” she said with a laugh.

“We will leave you alone now. I'm sure that you have much to do. We are going to go over to the house and see our brother. We must have gotten the time wrong,” Brian said as he reluctantly handed the baby back to his mother.

“I'm so glad that he will have you all today. I want both of our families to be around us as we finally say our vows,” she said as she embraced Brian first, followed by each of the other brothers.

“We will see you this evening,” Brian promised as they all jumped on their bikes and rode off.

To say that Jake was shocked when he heard his brothers’ bikes pull up to his house was an understatement. He walked outside hesitantly, no doubt in his mind that they were there to break ties with him forever.

“We know what you did,” Brian said before Jake even had a moment to gather his thoughts.

“We know that you told the cops about our plans,” Reese said.

“I didn't tell them who you were or how I knew what I did. I just told them that they should beef up security around the bank. I wish I could tell you that I'm sorry, but I'm not. I had to do it. I couldn't risk it. I couldn't risk my future with Savannah and my son. I couldn't let you all pull a job in this town either. I couldn't let it all fall apart,” he said, bracing for their anger.

“I will not lie to you,” Brian began, “we went to your wedding site earlier to cause a bit of chaos.”

“What did you do?” Jake asked, worried at what they might have done in retaliation and how much it would hurt Savannah.

“We didn't do anything. We really wanted to, though,” Peter added.

“That is, until we met your girl,” Reese said, smiling warmly.

“You met Savannah?” Jake asked, worried at what they might have said to her.

“And your son,” Brian added.

“What happened?” Jake demanded, his protective instincts rising.

“She changed our minds,” Brian said as bluntly as possible.

“What do you mean?” Jake asked, trying to imagine how that might have happened.

“I can see why you did what you did. A woman like that and a child like that, they are worth protecting,” Brian said.

“Then you don't hate me for what I did?” Jake asked, shocked.

“No, we don't,” Reese answered.

“We have to go now,” Peter said, much to Jake’s disappointment.

“Yes, we have a wedding to get cleaned up for,” Brian said with a smirk.

“You're coming?” Jake asked in shock.

“Of course,” Reese answered.

“We couldn't very well let you get married without your family, could we?” Brian asked with a wink. With that, the boys jumped back on their bikes and drove off to the hotel. Knowing that they would be there that night to stand by his side meant more to Jake than he could even say.

When he later arrived at the old abandoned church where he and Savannah had begun their journey together, he was thrilled to see their bikes were already parked outside. That joy faded, though, when Savannah’s brother came to stand beside him.

“Those bikes look familiar,” Samuel said.

“Do they?” Jake asked, not sure what he could say to explain the situation.

“You know, my sister told me once that you had foster brothers who were the only family you had in the world,” he said as though it was the most casual thing in the world.

“Yes, they are,” he said, staring at the bikes and thinking of his brothers waiting inside the church.

“I think the hardest thing in the world would be to take a stand against people you love so deeply to make sure that your future is safe,” Sam added.

“Yes,” Jake said guardedly.

“Any man who would do that proves that he is putting his wife to be and son first, hypothetically of course,” Sam said with a smirk.

“That is very true,” Jake said, confused by Sam’s reaction.

“That is the kind of man I would be happy to have marry my sister,” Sam said, patting Jake on the back and then walking in to the church, without looking back at Jake or his shocked expression.

With that, Jake followed him in to the church and took his place near the altar to wait for the love of his life. She and her mother had outdone themselves in preparing the space. Every surface was covered with flowers and candles. In truth it looked like something out of a movie scene. Seeing her family and friends filling the pews as well as his own brothers crowded together on the groom’s side of the church made him feel more at home than he ever had before.

All thoughts went out of his mind, though, when Savannah and her father rounded the corner. Looking at her there, wearing a beautiful lace gown, he lost his breath. He felt the tears welling in his eyes and couldn't help but choke up as he looked at her, with one arm linked with her father and the other arm holding their son.

The ceremony went by as though it was a dream, with her father officiating. The entire time, with his hands gripping hers, he felt as though he might wake up at any moment and find himself alone again. It wasn't until her father pronounced them husband and wife and he pressed his lips to hers that he truly felt as though she was truly his to hold forever.

Everyone around them cheered and threw rose petals at them as they left the church. Her parents had agreed to watch Brian for the night to give them a night to themselves to celebrate their union. He eagerly helped Savannah on to the back of his bike before climbing on and zooming off down the road towards their home. The feeling of her arms wrapped around his waist moved him so completely that he couldn't even have described it with words if he had to.

When they got to their house, he climbed off the bike and helped Savannah off as well. Neither of them spoke. Savannah just held his hand tight and smiled at him with the kind of love that could make a man feel like he could conquer the world. When they reached the door, Jake swept her up in his arms and carried her across the threshold. As soon as they entered, Jake smiled at her and said, “Welcome home.”

“I love you, my husband,” Savannah said as she pressed her lips to his.

“And I love you, my wife,” he said as he sat her back on her feet so that he could explore her body with his hands as he kissed her passionately. Wordlessly, Savannah captured his hand in hers and led him towards the stairs. As they climbed, the anticipation filled them both. He could feel his body demanding her, wanting to conquer every bit of her, to truly claim her as his own.

When they reached the bedroom, Savannah gasped. Jake had filled the room with bouquets of roses and covered the bed in rose petals. The scent was intoxicating and Savannah was overcome with her love and desire for him. Without saying a word, she wrapped her eager hands around his neck and pulled him down for a searing kiss.

“You like it?” he asked with a grin.

“It's perfect. Everything is perfect,” she said as tears of joy began to form in her eyes.

“You're perfect,” Jake said, tangling his fingers in her hair.

“Take me. Make me yours, now and forever,” she whispered, her voice so full of desire that it nearly unmanned him. He was frozen in place by her words, but Savannah was impatient. Gently, she put her hands behind her and unzipped her dress. As the white lace fell in a pool on the floor around her, her mocha colored skin was revealed. She stood there, wearing only her slip and he could barely control his desire for her.

“With pleasure,” he growled, lunging for her and sweeping her up in his arms. When he deposited her on the bed, her breasts bounced in such a delightful way that he couldn't help but stop and smirk at her.

“Are you going to make a lady wait?” she asked with a laugh.

“No, I don't intend to make you wait a moment longer,” he said as he crawled on to the bed. With each motion, he drew closer to her until he was poised above her, studying her beauty as she lay back and waited for him to enter her.

“Jake, I need you,” she said as she writhed with desire beneath him. It took all of Jake’s will to keep from entering her immediately, but he had other plans for her.

“Not quite yet,” he murmured as he lowered his lips to her stomach. She shivered at the sensation of his tongue exploring her skin. Slowly and methodically, he worked his way down her body until his mouth reached her feminine folds. Her back arched up at a mixture of shock and desire as he lowered his mouth to her most sensitive place.

Her entire body was flooded with desire as he worked to ensure that she felt more pleasure than she had ever known before. It wasn't until she began to scream his name as the waves of pleasure overtook her that he lost all control.

As her voice filled his ears and her scent surrounded him, his senses became too consumed with her to hold himself back. His hands soon found the sensitive inner flesh of her thighs and he eased her legs open to give himself better access. Then, as slowly as he could manage, he pulled himself up and paused at her entrance.

“Do you really love me?” he asked as the tip of his penis pressed against her.

“You know that I do,” she said as she arched up and rubbed herself against him wantonly.

“Say it,” he said as he began to rub himself against her clitoris.

“I love you. I love you so much,” she cried. That was all he needed. He crashed into her, thrusting in and out wildly. He fucked her with all that he had, like there was no tomorrow. Jake felt sure that he would die if he didn't fill her with his seed and make her truly his. It didn't take long for them both to reach their pleasure, so overcome were they by their love and lust for each other. As they came in unison, Jake was sure that he would never know a greater pleasure.

“Say it,” Savannah whispered as he lay on top of her, his head pressed to her chest.

“Say what,” he asked, his mind dizzy with pleasure.

“I said it to you. Now say it to me,” she ordered softly.

“I love you, Savannah,” he whispered as he drifted off to sleep, more content than he had ever known he could be.
