Chapter Ten

Saffron was sitting in the apartment wondering why the first thing she thought seemed to come out of her mouth. Xander had dropped her off and taken the two suitcases she asked for upstairs. He was going to put the Jeep away, and she was sitting here like a lump. Her stomach was in her throat, and nothing she said was going to make her feel better.
