Xander (The Wolves Den Book 3) by Serena Simpson (12)

Chapter Twelve

Xander ran to Saffron who was lying on the floor unconscious. Caden was trying to wake up Sage who was also unconscious.

“All they need is sleep.”

“Ven,” Xander roared at him.

“Don’t Ven me. I’m telling you what I know they need sleep. Ask Cait, and she will say the same thing.”

Xander picked Saffron up and headed for the door.

“Oh,” Ven yelled at both the couples disappearing backs. “When they wake up, tell them not to touch. They’re not ready for that yet.”

He pulled out his cell phone.

“Mom, I’m at Xander’s, and Caden’s can you and dad come over?” He took another bite of his steak before he looked around the empty kitchen. Ven picked up his plate and slid half of his vegetables onto Xander’s plate and the other half onto Caden’s. Then he reached over for Sage’s lasagna figuring she wouldn’t be eating it and placed it on his plate.

When his parents walked in, he was happily eating steak and lasagna with a big smile on his face.

“Where is everyone,” Deja asked him.

“The females touched hands and sparked electricity through the kitchen before they passed out. I figured since they wouldn’t be eating it was a shame to let lunch go to waste.”

Enzo stared at his son before he turned to look at his mate. She shrugged and pulled out a chair.

“Come eat dad.”

Deja took one look at the sparks that flew in Ven’s eyes and shivered. There were times she was sure her son was older than anyone in the compound. But how could that be?

“I love you, mom.”

“I love you too, son.” And she did, she’d kill to keep her family safe. She turned so she could see both of them before she took a bite of her lasagna.

Saffron opened her eyes to see Xander peering down at her. Her fingers went up to touch his lips.

“Why the frown?” She moved and groaned. “Was I hit by a car?”

“You don’t remember what happened?”

“We went to your house to eat. Is this your bedroom?” The walls were unfamiliar, and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud.

“It is.”

“I remember sitting at the table and meeting Ven. I was hungry and wanted a roll to go with my food.” She frowned trying to remember what happened next. “Did something happen to my heart?”

He shook his head. “Your heart is fine. Cait came and checked you out. She said you would wake up today.”

“Today?”

“Lunch was yesterday.”

She used her arms to push herself up on the bed. “What happened?”

“You and Sage reached for a roll at the same time. Your fingers touched, and electricity leaped between the two of you and around the room. Then you both passed out.”

“I’m out of here.” She slid her legs to the side of the bed and almost hit the floor face first. Xander caught her sitting her back on the bed.

“Where are we going?”

“We?”

“I’m going where you go.”

She lowered her eyes unable to maintain contact with him. Instead, she looked around the room that was bare. He needed some design assistance. He had a dresser and not much else no pictures no nothing. Her eyes caught a small object the size of a credit card on his wall.

Once again, she slid her legs to the side of the bed. This time she stood carefully making sure she had her balance before she walked across the room. When she got to the wall, she felt so many conflicting emotions she didn’t know what to do. Her driver’s license was hanging there in a place of prominence. Xander had put her picture up, and her heart was beating fast.

“I hate that picture.”

“I like it.”

She turned still being careful and walked to him. She placed her arms around his neck and leaned into the heat of his body. Just holding him gave her a comfort that she hadn’t felt in a long time.

“I guess I can stay, and we can figure out what is happening together.”

“I’d like that.”

She went to her tiptoes, and he lowered his head, so she could kiss him. Their lips touched making her remember the feel of him deep. Not right now, she wasn’t up to it, but soon she would have him again.

“Would you go get my suitcases?”

“I brought them over in case you decided to stay.”

“I see what you’re up to. Where are they at?”

He led her out the room and showed her the den where her all her earthly possessions were sitting waiting for her. She went to one trunk and opened it. She placed things neatly on the floor until she found what she wanted hastily wrapped in a newspaper.

“There was a time I was upset because there wasn’t a picture of me in my own house. So, I went and got one professionally done.” She stood and carried the frame to him that she had pressed against her breasts.

She handed it to him and waited. The look on his face when he turned it around made the butterflies in her stomach flap their wings.

“You’re beautiful.”

“I want you to have it.”

“Thank you.” He leaned over and kissed her forcing himself to make it quick.

“I hate to say this, but I’m starving. What happened to Sage?” She kicked herself for not asking sooner. “I thought she probably had the same experience I did.”

“She did, and she’s up now too. If you want to take a shower, we can all reconvene and try to eat lunch together.”

“Sounds good. I just have to remember not to touch her. I don’t think that will be hard.”

He took her back to the bedroom and showed her the attached bathroom. She loved his bathroom. It was newer. There was a large shower and a huge soaker tub that would fit both of them. Ideas of what they could do in here teased her even as she took her clothes off and started the shower.

“Are you coming in?” her voice was husky when she saw him walk in.

He shook his head and sat on the seat that went to the vanity. When she realized he wanted to watch her all her fantasies from when she was younger rushed back.

She stepped into the shower and eased into the water as it poured over her skin making her silky and wet. He gave a slow nod of appreciation that only encouraged her.

She picked up her sponge and poured a generous amount of bath gel on it. She stopped to allow the smell of roses to invade her senses. When she turned, she gave Xander a sultry smile and lifted an arm. She took her time washing it, using her sponge to caress her arm as if it were his hand. When she was done, she turned and did the other arm before she finally took her sponge and squeezed it over her breast. His groan of appreciation set her off.

She eased back under the water allowing it to wash away the soap before she applied more to her sponge and began washing one of her breasts. She started at the top taking time to make sure she didn’t miss an inch. Then she picked it up and washed underneath before she finally got to her nipple.

Her mouth opened wide in pleasure when the sponge touched her hard nipple, while her hips thrust out just a little looking for intimate contact. Her pussy contracted and a sound of need was ripped from her. She washed her other breast lathering it in her hands before she pulled on the nipple. Then she pinched it a hiss of pleasure coming from her lips. She bit her bottom lip and picked up the sponge and ran it over her stomach.

She flashed Xander a smile and washed her legs and feet before reaching for a back brush. When she was done, she lathered her hands and placed her foot on the bench that was installed in the shower. Slowly, she began to wash between her legs.

Between one blink and another Xander was pressed against the glass of the shower watching her. Her fingers slid against her clit playing with it, teasing it until it was engorged and sensitive. Her throat was working as she tried to remember what she was doing and not lose herself to the pleasure.

Taking two fingers, she slid them up and down her slit before she started to press them inside her pussy. The heat of the shower gave way to a draft as the door opened. Xander picked her up and held her against the wall as he pressed his dick against her pussy. All I took was one hard thrust, and he was deep inside of her.

A shout of pleasure came from her as she tried to adjust to having him inside of her with that one long stroke. She placed her legs around him helpless to do more as he pounded into her. Hisses of pleasure were mixed with moans of need as she whispered into his ear urging him on.

“Harder, I need to feel you deep within me.” Her words came out on breaths that were barely there, but he heard her as he increased his pace. His long strokes were becoming shorter as he was losing himself to pleasure of being inside her.

Do not lose control he told himself, but his hips had a mind of their own. His thrusts became harder. Saffron screamed and fell over the edge that was calling her name. She convulsed around him dancing on his dick while he was still pounding into her.

“Come with me, Xander.”

He stiffened quickening his pace until he felt pressure overtake him claiming his body. He climbed the heights of pure desire with her and jumped when she did.

Together they free fell. Her head went against his shoulder.

“I’m going to make you the god of making love,” She whispered a bit incoherently.

He turned them around and sat on the bench. His legs felt weak. He’d tell her, but the smile on her face told him she was already proud of herself.

Saffron stretched; she was feeling good. Xander had brought her back to the room and made love to her again after she felt like she could move. With the stealth of a ninja, he went to the kitchen and retrieved a picnic lunch for them.

“You know you’re eventually going to have to get out of bed.”

She looked over at him and stuck out her tongue, which brought images to mind of licking him. Was it possible to entice him back to bed?

“I’m not sure I like that look on your face.”

“Trust me, you’ll like it.”

He walked across the room. Caden yelled dinner time, so they could hear him and went silent.

“I guess we have to go?”

“You can’t avoid Sage forever.”

Wanna bet? She got up waiting for one of the voices inside her head to speak, she realized they had been silent.

Do any of you have anything to say about Sage? What about you, alien in my head? Why are you so quiet?

Well, that made her nervous. She grabbed a pair of jeans and a T-shirt going for the casual and comfy feel, just in case she ended up passed out on the floor again.

“Forget eating you need to go to the building Richard uses.”
