Double Down: An MFM Menage Romance by Sierra Sparks (15)

Chapter 15

Mason

My idiot brother had come home from drinking at five am.  Who the hell even keeps serving beers that late?  He was hungover and a mess.  I finally had to wake him up well past noon.  I nudged him with my hand.

“Hey,” I said.  “Douchebag.  Get up.”

“Oh, shit,” he said painfully.  “Why are you screaming at me?”

“I’m not screaming,” I explained.  “You were out drinking all night.  You okay?”

“Aw, my head,” he moaned covering his bloodshot eyes.  “Can you hand me some Advil?”

        “Yeah, sure,” I said obliging.

I handed him the two pills and he swallowed them dry.

“I just have one thing to say,” I whispered getting close to his ear.

        “What’s that?” he asked.

“I had sex with Faith!” I shouted in his face.

“Ow!  Fuck!” Logan clasped his hands over his ears and rolled his head in agony.

I backed away and laughed.  It was way more fun committing pranks then being on the receiving end.

“You asshole,” said Logan, reeling.  “Wait a minute.  What?  You had sex with Faith?”

“Yeah, yesterday,” I explained.  “What did I tell you?  She likes me?”

“So?  I had sex with her the other day when I went over,” he said.

“You didn’t have penetration,” I countered shaking a finger at him.  “Doesn’t count.”

“What do you mean it doesn’t count?  Of course it counts!  It more than counts!  I came in her mouth!”

“I came in her mouth too,” I explained.  “And twice inside her.”

“Dude!  Did you wear a condom?”

“Of course, I’m not stupid,” I said.  “Impressed?”

“Yeah, bump it,” he said holding out his fist.

I bumped it.  I honestly expected him to be angrier.

“But it doesn’t matter, we’re engaged, so---“

“You’re not engaged!” I snapped, rolling my eyes.

        “Totally am,” he insisted.

        “Bullshit!”

“Well, she’s my girlfriend anyway,” he insisted.  “Who do you think is saving her house?”

“Not you!  We lost the game!”

“You made the bet,” he pointed out.

“Kyle knows it was you, Einstein,” I said.

“Oh,” said Logan, rolling up into a sitting position.  “Well, either way, you’re not going to get her.  Because you’re never going to beat me in this.  Just give up.  I’ll set you up with one of her friends.”

        “Never!  You give up!”

I instinctively gave him a little push.  Normally, this would pass, but Logan was hungover.

        “Don’t push me!” he snapped.

We ended up in a bit of a wrestling match and then Faith walked into our dorm room.

        “Hey-hey!  Guys!  Stop!” she insisted.

“Faith!  Tell him we were meant to be together,” I insisted, holding Logan down by the shoulders.

“C’mon, Faith.  We have a thing, right?” begged Logan.

She looked back and forth between the both of us.  Tears began welling up in her eyes.

“You asshole, you made her cry!” I whispered to Logan and letting go of his shoulders.

        “No, you did!” insisted Logan.

“I’m sorry!” Faith wept.  “This is all my fault!  I just got swept up in the moment with both of you.  It wasn’t right.  The only fair thing for me to do is break it off with both of you.”

Logan and I froze.  Break up with us?  That was the last thing I wanted.

“No, Faith, please!” I begged.  “I want to be with you.  If you want to be with me, why shouldn’t that happen.”

“I need you too, Faith,” insisted Logan.  “Look, I may put on airs that I’m a womanizer and everything, but I’ve never met anyone like you.”

“Well, what do we do then?” she cried.

“Why can’t all three of us just do this?” suggested Logan, pointing to each of us one at a time.  “Mason’s my brother, I shared everything with him.  I’d share you.”

“Really?” I said, mildly surprised.  “You’d date Faith with me?  Together?”

“Why not?  Amy’s doing it, right?” said Logan.  “Her boyfriends seem cool with it and there’s like three of them.”

“I would try it,” I admitted.  “I mean, people might talk, but who cares?  We’re identical twins anyway.  They probably won’t even know.”

Faith walked away towards the window, biting her thumb thoughtfully.  She looked a little perplexed.

“I don’t know…” she said, unsure.  “You guys fight a lot.”

“Oh, that’s not real fighting,” dismissed Logan.  “You haven’t actually seen us in a real fight.”

“Yeah,” I agreed.  “It’s much meaner and quicker.  We’re brothers and we’re guys so what looks aggressive to you is actually just how we settle disputes.”

“Really?” said Faith, her eyes wide in disbelief.  “You wrestle for solve disputes?”

“Sometimes,” admitted Logan.  “Hell, the other day, I had to wrestle Mason for the TV remote.”

“That’s my TV remote,” I insisted, poking him in the chest.  “Don’t touch it.”

“We both have one, mine has the worn power button,” explained Logan.  “You got them mixed up and took the wrong one.”

“No, I didn’t.  You lost yours!”

“Boys!  Focus!” Faith snapped her fingers trying to keep us from getting distracted.  “I’m trying to make a decision here!”

“Look, we can do this,” I told her.  “I mean, I’m already warming up to the idea and seeing how it can work.”

“Yeah and if we were both your boyfriend, we could have you at different times, right?  You get sick of one of us, the other one could come in and hang out,” explained Logan.

“Worst case scenario, we break up and we’re back to where we started,” I said.  “So the reality is, we have nothing to lose by trying it for a few weeks.”

“Yeah and it would certainly piss off Kyle,” said Logan.  “That’s an added bonus.  I mean, that it takes two men to date you, that’s impressive.”

“I can’t think of anything else to do,” I added.

        “Me neither,” said Logan.

“What do you say, Faith?  Will you try it?” I begged.
