Bet On It by Jaclyn Quinn (13)

Every time Ty closed his eyes, he remembered the night before: the fullness of Spencer inside him; the connection with him; the orgasm as it swept throughout his system.

He was sure, after last night, what he wanted…and what he wanted was Spencer. He had two days to convince Spencer that this thing between them was worth upping the ante. There was no way they could go back to the way things were, and Ty wasn’t going to let another tied-up, begging booty call in their house.

“You might as well take the rest of the day off.” His father’s words startled him out of his daydreaming. “You haven’t done a thing since you got here.”

“Dad, I’m sorry.” Ty looked down at his desk and saw the same work order in front of him that he’d taken out an hour ago and realized what little he’d done all day.

“It’s okay.” His father laughed, obviously knowing Ty was thinking about Spencer, but saving them both the embarrassment by not asking him about it. “It’s Friday. Why don’t you just call it a day? I’ll see you on Monday, and hopefully, you’ll be back on track then.”

“Yeah, I guess that’s a good idea. I can’t seem to focus lately.” Ty rubbed his right hand over his face and then through his short brown hair. “I intend to fix that this weekend.” He looked over at his father now, understanding flowing between them. There was comfort in knowing he didn’t have to say it out loud for it to be heard.

“All right, well, I’ll see you on Monday.” His father started to leave when he stopped and turned back around. “Oh, and Ty...good luck.” And with that, he walked away, leaving Ty grateful for the parents he had.

After picking up Spencer’s dry cleaning and putting it away, Ty straightened a few things around the house and tossed a load of laundry in. He tried anything to keep busy so he wouldn’t constantly be trying to figure out what his next move should be. Exhaustion had Ty lying down on his bed at around five o’clock. He hadn’t had much sleep the past few weeks, and his emotions had been on a rollercoaster. It didn’t take him long to drift off into a much-needed sleep.

By the time he’d woken up, the clock read ten. Fuck, he’d slept for five hours? He’d been tired, but obviously, his body needed more sleep than he’d thought.

“Oh shit,” he scolded himself, realizing he hadn’t been ready when Spencer got home. He shot out of bed and crossed the hall. Spencer was lying there in a T-shirt and sweats, reading a book.

“Hey, figured you’d be out for the night.” Spencer put the book down and locked eyes with Ty. He had on wire-framed glasses he only wore for reading, and they somehow added to how sexy he looked.

Ty walked into the room and closed the door behind him. “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have slept that long.” He reached the bed and wasn’t quite sure what to do with himself. Should he sit? Lay down next to Spencer? Stand there? Ty must have looked as awkward as he felt because Spencer grabbed his hand and pulled him down to lay with him.

“What are you sorry for? You were obviously tired. You never nap like that.” Spencer leaned over to put his glasses down on the nightstand then held Ty so his head was resting on his chest. The way they fit together was so perfect. Ty closed his eyes and let the comfort surround him. He played with the tie on Spencer’s sweats, pulling it through his fingers.

“I feel like I ruined another night.”

Spencer lifted his chin until they were looking at one another. “You haven’t ruined anything, Ty. These past two weeks have been unbelievable.” Spencer kissed him softly...taking his time and making Ty crave more.

They undressed each other slowly, an intimacy they hadn’t shown until this point. This wasn’t hurried or demanding. It wasn’t part of some stupid bet. It was real and emotional. Once they were skin to skin, passion took over. They pressed against each other, heat and sweat covering their bodies. Ty kissed over every inch of Spencer, memorizing all the spots that had him writhing. His tongue swept down Spencer’s hard length and slid over his sac to his hole. Ty hesitated for a mere moment before swiping his tongue over it a few times, watching Spencer come undone a little more with each lick.

Spencer reached over to the nightstand to get the lube and a condom. He put some lube on Ty’s fingers then positioned them outside of his entrance. Ty pushed the first finger in slowly, nervous because he had no idea what he was doing.

As if sensing his worry, Spencer reassured him, “It feels so good. Add another one.” Ty obeyed, wanting to do everything he could to make this moment one Spencer wouldn’t forget. He needed to make him feel so amazing that he wouldn’t want it to end.

Spencer quickly removed Ty’s hand and flipped them over. He began his assault on Ty’s body, covering inch by inch with his tongue and lips. He was tender yet thorough, bringing Ty to the brink over and over again. Ty could feel he was close. Spencer must have sensed it too because he opened the condom and unrolled it down Ty’s cock. Ty had no idea how much he wanted to be inside Spencer until that moment.

Straddling Ty’s hips, Spencer worked Ty’s hard cock inside of him. Warmth wrapped around Ty’s shaft as it disappeared into Spencer. They moved together as lovers do. Being able to look into Spencer’s eyes while his cock was buried deep inside him...it was all so intense. This wasn’t fucking; it was so much more.

Spencer leaned over and kissed Ty while clasping their hands together above Ty’s head. Lifting his hips up and down, Spencer rode Ty’s cock, bringing them both toward release. Ty let go of Spencer’s left hand and started to stroke his cock. The rocking sped up, both of them ready to let go.

Eruptions flowed from their bodies, one after the other. When the spasms subsided, Spencer collapsed on Ty’s chest, making Ty slide out.

Ty knew in his heart, they’d just made love. It was all-consuming and significantly more fulfilling than anything he’d ever experienced. He held on to Spencer, not wanting to let go of this moment, and it didn’t seem like Spencer wanted to let go either. Why did they have to? Ty couldn’t come up with a single reason, so he held on tighter, stroking his hand up and down Spencer’s back.

Even after the long nap he’d had earlier, emotionally and physically, he felt drained. Wrapped in each other’s arms, they drifted off to sleep.

Ty stood in the kitchen the next morning, staring blankly at a carton of eggs. He was on edge today and knew the reason why. A pivotal moment in his life would happen this weekend. He wasn’t sure when they would talk about it, but they had to talk about it. He had to know before his imagination took over any more than it already had.

Ty wasn’t focusing at work, he was exhausted, and he didn’t know how to act around their friends anymore. They could no longer avoid the conversation about what all of this meant. Ty hated this feeling of being in limbo. He felt like he was in a sexual purgatory, not knowing where all of this was going.

What pissed him off even more was the fact that Spencer didn’t seem to be bothered by any of it. Was it so easy for him to turn his emotions on and off like that? Ty would be damned if this was going to drive him crazy while the reason for his insanity slept peacefully in his room, as if he wasn’t confused by any of it.

Ty found himself taking his anger out on the eggs, getting angrier by the minute. Satisfaction flowed through him when he slammed each egg down on the side of the bowl to crack them open.

“Hungry? Jeez, how many eggs were you planning on eating?” Spencer walked into the room, his hair disheveled from sleeping. Ty had been so lost in thought, he hadn’t realize he’d cracked open the entire carton of eggs. Spencer passed Ty to get a coffee mug then shuffled over to the coffee maker. Pouring himself a cup, he turned around and leaned back against the counter. He looked so calm—it pissed Ty the fuck off.

“Why do you care how many eggs I eat?” Ty snapped, knowing full well he was being ridiculous but unable to stop.

“What’s your problem?”

“Nothing. I have no problem at all.” Ty went over to the stove. “So, how do you want your eggs? You seem to like to stir things up. Want some scrambled eggs?” Ty took the frying pan out of the cabinet and slammed it down on the burner. “Or how about over easy? You seem fine having things both ways, so fried on the outside, runny on the inside...best of both worlds right?” Ty was on a roll now and couldn’t control the emotions that had been building up inside of him. He yanked the spatula out of the container on the counter. “I know…sunny side up, right? Things seem to be very one-sided around here. I think that’s perfect.” Ty turned around now to face Spencer.

“Not talking about eggs, are we?” Spencer stood there, a smug grin on his face, and Ty wanted to punch him.

“What are you smiling at? Is everything always so funny to you? Don’t you take anything seriously?” Because none of this was funny to Ty. He felt like he was losing Spencer, even though his best friend was standing right in front of him.

“Oh, I take a lot of things seriously.” Spencer’s tone and expression darkened, sending delicious chills down Ty’s spine, but he refused to let that sexy voice get to him. Not this time, Benny. “Like the fact that you’re not wearing your uniform…again. I take that very seriously.”

“It’s just one more day, right? So who cares? Things will just go back to the way they were, right?” Ty tossed the spatula on the counter and walked out of the kitchen.

He heard Spencer follow him but refused to turn around. Before he made it to the hallway, Spencer grabbed his arm and spun him around.

“What the fuck is wrong with you?”

“I said there’s nothing wrong with me.” Ty ripped his arm out of Spencer’s grasp and pushed his chest hard then turned back around. He was almost at his bedroom door when he felt a weight crash into him, crushing him onto the carpet.

“You fucking tackled me? Get the fuck off of me!”

“No! Not until you tell me what your problem is!” Spencer tried to pin Ty to the floor, but Ty bucked his hips, knocking Spencer slightly off to the side. Ty went to roll out from under him, but Spencer pinned him again, this time using the strength of his legs to hold Ty’s down while immobilizing his hands above his head. All of his weight held Ty down, pushing him into the carpet. Damn it, Benny! Not now!

Meeting Spencer’s eyes, the storm still raging inside him, Ty said nothing. The atmosphere was so thick with sexual tension, he found it hard to breathe. They both were panting, staring intensely at each other. Spencer crashed his mouth down on Ty’s, forcing his tongue past Ty’s lips. Ty struggled to hold on to control, finding it more difficult as Spencer began grinding their cocks together. And then Ty moaned. Moaned, for fuck’s sake! Jesus, did he have any fucking willpower at all?

Spencer abruptly pulled away and stood, yanking Ty up with him. “Color.” Not a question, an order.

Goddamn it. You can make this stop. You have the control right now, asshole. “Peachy.” So much for willpower.

“Bedroom. Now,” Spencer growled. The heat in Spencer’s eyes was fierce and intoxicating. He shoved Ty through the doorway to his room, knocking him off balance. Before Ty could steady his legs, Spencer shoved him again, forcing Ty to land on Spencer’s bed. His cock was so hard, the power in Spencer’s voice transporting currents straight to it.

Tugging Ty’s shirt over his head roughly, Spencer pushed him back then grabbed the waistband of his sweats. Everything was happening so fast, and Ty seemed paralyzed to stop it, not that he wanted to. Quickly, Ty was naked and shocked, not really sure what was happening, but Benny was on board.

“You’re so fucking stubborn!” Spencer was angry now. Good!

“Finally showing some fucking emotion about this whole situation!” Ty yelled back.

“Trust me, my emotions have been in this for a whole hell of a lot longer than yours! I knew this was going to be difficult, but I have waited patiently for four fucking years!”

Four years? What the hell is he talking about?

“That’s right, Ty.” Spencer used Ty’s shock to his advantage and grabbed both of his hands, holding them above his head while he grabbed something out of the nightstand. Next thing Ty knew, he was handcuffed to the headboard.

And Spencer was beyond pissed.
