Bet On It by Jaclyn Quinn (4)

Ty stared at the sink full of dirty dishes. He swore every time he blinked the pile got bigger. This shit sucked; there was nothing he hated more than washing dishes. It sure as hell wasn’t something he wanted to deal with after a long day fixing clients’ computers. Usually, he and Spencer would alternate dish duty since the house hadn’t come with a dishwasher. Now, Ty was stuck with the disgusting task until the damn bet was up, and of course, he’d let them build up in the sink.

He picked up a plastic lunch container with who-the-fuck-knew-what in it. That thing was going to smell so bad when he took the lid off. “Not gonna happen.” Walking across the room, he stepped on the pedal to open the metal garbage can and tossed the offending thing in there. Wasn’t the first time and it sure as hell wouldn’t be the last.

“Why did you throw that away?” Spencer passed Ty and sat down at the kitchen table.

“Because it was fucking disgusting. I don’t understand why you can’t just dump the rest of the food out if you don’t finish it.” Ty went back over to the sink and stared at the mess.

“Why should I bother when I have you to do it?”

“Yeah, yeah. I’d buy that excuse if you didn’t do this shit all the time.” Ty stacked the glasses on the counter next to the sink then piled up the silverware next to it. Cringing, he took the small basket strainer full of nasty, soggy food from the drain and placed a hand under it as he crossed to the garbage. Damn, he was cranky. It hadn’t even been a week, and he was already over this shit. Why the fuck did he ever think anything fun could come out of being Spencer’s goddamn servant for three weeks?

“Whoa…is that any way for you to talk to your Master?”

Ty huffed, walking back to the sink. “Pfft. I’d be so much better at this Master shit than you. ‘Do the dishes.’ ‘Do the laundry.’ ‘Make my lunch.’ So fucking lame.” Ty was grumbling to himself as he sprayed the sink down with cleaner. “No limits, my ass,” he mumbled.

“And what exactly would you do differently if you were in charge?” Spencer asked in Ty’s ear in that damn raspy baritone again. Ty jumped and could feel his cock filling, surrounded by Spencer’s body heat as he stood so closely behind him. He glanced down. Fuck! Leaning against the sink, he prayed Spencer didn’t see his sweats tenting. “Well?”

“I’m…I’m just saying… You know, I just figured…” He had never been this nervous around his best friend. Usually, they could say anything to each other. But how the hell did he say, “If I was your damn Master, I’d have you tied to the bed so fast your head would spin.

Would he though? Because, yeah, the thought made Ty’s cock perk up even more, but if he were being honest, he’d been picturing himself tied to Spencer’s bed ever since that night. And that thought was not helping to deflate the tent in his pants!

“It seems to me, you expected something different from this bet.” Spencer looked down over Ty’s shoulder, and Ty pressed closer to the sink, hiding his arousal. “Trust me, more things sprang to mind when we’d said no limits, Ty. Maybe it’s time I started taking this more seriously.”

Spencer moved away from Ty, taking all that body heat with him as he walked to the living room. Ty’s pulse was beating so fast he felt dizzy, and he grabbed on to the sink to steady himself. “What the hell just happened?” he whispered, afraid to look up at Spencer—afraid what he wanted would be written all over his face.

“I want you to get the shower ready for me. The dishes can wait.” The demanding tone of Spencer’s voice was reminiscent of that night a few weeks ago. It shot straight to Ty’s dick.

“Yeah. Okay.”

“You mean…yes, Sir.” Again with that strong, powerful tone. And the way he’d said it…

Ty looked over at Spencer, and the challenge in those blue eyes caught Ty off guard. “What?”

“From now on, you’ll address me as Sir.” Well, damn. If the ache in his pants was anything to go by, he’d say his dick was on board with that one. Now, if only the traitor wouldn’t make it so fucking obvious.

The next night, Ty found he was the first one home and relief swept through him. Being around Spencer that morning had been so awkward. Ty’s mind had been in overdrive lately and needed a quiet house and a cold beer. Spencer sent him a text earlier in the day to say he wanted pizza for dinner, which Ty picked up on his way home. With dinner waiting, he knew Spencer would be home shortly.

He’d just sat down with his beer, ready to stretch his legs out on the couch, when he heard the front doorknob turning. In walked Spencer, his black messenger bag across his body and plastic store bag in his hand.

“Hey,” he said as he walked over to the loveseat, lifting the messenger bag over his head then dropping both bags down. “Pizza here?”

“Yeah, it’s on the counter.”

Spencer arched a dark eyebrow, crossing his arms over his chest.

Ty rolled his eyes and huffed. “Yes, Sir, it’s on the counter.”

“That’s more like it. I had a long day. Think I’m gonna bring my dinner to my room and crash for the night.” As Spencer stood there and waited, Ty got the picture. He set his beer down on the coffee table and walked into the kitchen, getting a plate off the counter and grabbing a couple slices of pizza and a beer for Spencer.

Spencer picked up both of his bags off the loveseat, then went down the hall to his bedroom, Ty following behind with his food and drink. When he entered Spencer’s room, his eyes flicked to the big bed. He stared at the navy-blue comforter and striped blue and white sheets. Was it as soft as it looked? What would it feel like to be spread open and vulnerable, tied to each corner?

“You’re staring at my bed like it holds the secret of life,” Spencer said, startling Ty out of his fantasy. Nope, not the secret of life. Just the secret of my damn cock, apparently.

Ty set the plate of pizza and the beer down on Spencer’s nightstand and turned for the door.

“Oh, I almost forgot,” Spencer said. Ty stopped in the hall right outside of Spencer’s door and turned around. Spencer crossed the room, plastic bag in hand. “Your punishment for talking back yesterday.” He tossed the bag at Ty, making him quickly reach out to catch it. Spencer stood with one hand on his door and the other on the doorframe. “Just so you know, I’ll be quizzing you in the morning to make sure you actually carried out your punishment. No limits, right, Ty? Night,” he said just before he closed the door and left Ty standing in the hallway.

Ty found it suddenly hard to swallow as he slowly brought the bag to his room. He closed the door behind him and walked to his bed. With his eyes closed and his heart pounding, he turned the bag over and emptied it onto his mattress.

He picked up the thing that fell out of the bag…a big bottle of lube with a handwritten note attached that read: You must go to these links and watch Lord of the Cock Rings and Spartacum. Heat surged to his face and traveled down his perspiring body as he stared at the note his best friend had written. Is he fucking serious? Ty could feel himself blushing, even with no one else in the room.

Gay porn?

Fuck.

Ty sat on the end of his bed for a minute, staring at his laptop across the room on the desk. It sat there, taunting him like Pandora’s Box, holding Spencer’s evil joke…or Ty’s fucked-up curiosity. He didn’t want to do this…did he? With shaking hands, he unbuttoned his jeans and slowly pulled the zipper down. It made sense to strip down to his boxers, but only because he was sweating buckets, not because he was aroused by the thought of this shit. You’re a damn liar.

Would Spencer seriously quiz him on this in the morning? Yeah, that bastard would. So, he had no choice, right? He crossed the room and picked up his laptop. Ty walked back over to his bed and put the computer on his mattress in front of him. He found the first video and, with a shaky hand, pressed play.

“Let’s get this over with.”

As the cheesy music began to play, Ty settled back against his headboard, watching the guy walk onto the screen with nothing but a loincloth on. He snorted out a laugh and rolled his eyes. “Jeez. Some fucking punishment, Spencer.”

Ty walked into the kitchen the next morning in boxers and a T-shirt, hoping to catch a break and get to some coffee before he had to deal with Spencer.

No such luck.

“Finally! I didn’t think you were ever gonna come out here and get to work.” Spencer shot Ty a cocky grin and drank his coffee.

“Do you have to be so fucking loud?” Ty growled, opening the cabinet to grab a mug.

“Uh oh, sounds like Scroto Baggins spent a long night trying to save Middle Earth,” Spencer mocked.

Ty gave Spencer a look of death then turned to pour his coffee.

“Did you forget how you’re supposed to address me? You know, with this attitude you’re giving me, I’d swear you like being punished.”

Whipping around to look at Spencer, the coffee sloshed out of the coffee pot and went all over the counter. “Shit!” Ty grabbed paper towels to stop the river about to flow off onto the floor. All the while, Spencer was hysterically laughing, wiping the tears from his eyes.

When the laughter subsided, Spencer stood up, his expression becoming unreadable. “Ty, you’re blushing so hard right now your ears are red.” He walked over to Ty and stalked around him in a circle, as if he were sizing up his prey. “If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you enjoyed watching those movies last night.”

The air in the room became so thick it made it difficult to breathe. Ty could feel heat coming off Spencer’s body, rolling over him, enveloping him. Why the hell is it so hot in this fucking house? He could feel Spencer behind him now. Ty closed his eyes, hoping that when he opened them he would be back in his room, still in bed. The hairs on the back of Ty’s neck alerted him to the close proximity of his best friend.

Warm breath caressed his ear when Spencer whispered, “You got off, didn’t you?” Spencer was asking, but it was obvious he already knew the answer. Chills shot down Ty’s spine. No, he wasn’t dreaming.

With the smallest nod of his head, Ty confirmed what they both already knew to be true.

“Words, Ty. Let me hear them.”

Ty swallowed hard and whispered, “Yes, Sir.”

“This is an interesting turn of events. I’m glad you didn’t try to deny it, considering I can clearly see for myself you’d be lying.”

Sure enough, Ty’s body had committed the ultimate betrayal. His flag was raised in defeat, all but screaming YES! It fucking turns me on! I want more! He kept his eyes closed, not willing to see the victory on his best friend’s face. Ty didn’t know what was happening to him, and he was starting not to care. His only thought now was what would Spencer make him do next? His cock jumped at the images swirling through his mind—fantasies he’d been having of Spencer since seeing him with that guy.

Clearing his throat, Spencer startled Ty out of his daydream, and he opened his eyes wide with embarrassment. He knew the blush was blanketing his entire body this time.

“I’m not gonna lie, Ty,” Spencer backed up and turned to walk toward the front door, “this changes,” Ty turned around, one last look from Spencer pinning him in the middle of the kitchen, “everything.”

And with that, Spencer left, leaving a confused, hot, sweating…excited Ty standing there with his mouth hanging open.
