Knocked Up by Brother's Best Friend: A Bad Boy Secret Baby Romance by Amy Brent (154)

Chapter 18: Sammy

“You look like you had a big weekend,” Denny said as he sidled up next to me and bumped my arm with his elbow, nearly spilling the tall cup of coffee I had just gotten from the coffee bar on the first floor. “If I didn’t know better, I’d think you spent the weekend at Club D with Carina thinking up new ways for her to ride your monster snake.

I picked up the cup and scowled at him. “How do you know I didn’t spend the weekend at Club D? It’s not like you ever show up anymore.

“Because you spent the weekend with Andrea Nichols.

“And how do you know that?”

“Come on, Sammy boy, you can’t keep secrets from me,” he said as he dumped creamer into his cup until it barely resembled coffee. “Okay, fine, Isaac told me you had a date with Andrea on Friday night and I didn’t hear from you all weekend, so I figured you were getting busy, I mean, you were busy. You’re welcome, by the way. I was just assuming you spent the weekend playing hide the sausage with Andrea and your face confirms it.

“You’re such a fucking asshole,” I said, giving him a hard stare that broke into a grin. “However, you are not wrong.

“Wow, look at that smile,” he said, making a goofy face.

“Shut up.” He was right. I couldn’t stop smiling. I’d been smiling since knocking on Andrea’s door Friday night. “And thank you. She is amazing and we had a great time.

“Don’t mention it,” Denny said. He picked up his cup and we started walking out of the coffee bar, which opened into the lobby, which was buzzing with hundreds of employees coming in to work. We headed for the elevators, but both froze when we heard a familiar voice, one heavy with a Russian accent, calling from the front door. We turned to see the guard at the reception desk holding a beautiful woman in a very short dress at bay.

“Sammy! Denny!”

“Is that…” Denny mumbled.

I almost dropped the cup of coffee. “Holy fuck…”

We turned to see Carina yelling and waving as she brushed past the guard and hurried across the lobby toward us. Even at eight o’clock on a Monday morning, she looked amazing, and was stilled dressed her Club D finest: a strapless, gold mini dress that barely covered her big tits and ass. She was wearing six-inch stiletto heels and had her purse strapped over her shoulder.

“What the fuck is she doing here?” Denny asked as he forced a smile and waved back at Carina.

“I don’t know, but we need to get her out of here before anybody sees her.

Carina hurried over and fell into my arms. When she pulled back, I could see that she had been crying. “Carina, what are you doing here? You know you’re never supposed to come here.

“Oh, Sammy, terrible, I did not know where else to come!”

Denny took her arm and pulled her over to the side, out of the flow of the busy lobby traffic. He handed her the napkins he was holding under his cup. “Carina, calm down. What’s going on?”

“It is the police,” she said, dabbing the napkins to her eyes. “Terrible. Terrible.

“The police?” Denny and I gawked at each other. “Did the police raid Club D? Why the hell didn’t Lemon call us?”

“No, no, no, not the club,” she said, clutching at the front of my shirt. “They arrested Niko, my brother. He was at a bar last night and a fight broke out and he beat someone up. They have him in custody this morning!”

“So just post bail,” I said, putting my hands on her shoulders to try and calm her down. “It’s not that big a deal.

“I don’t know how to post bail,” she said, wiping her nose on the back of her hand. “And his Visa is no good. Oh god, Sammy, I am afraid they will deport him back to Russia. You have to help me, Sammy. You are my best friend. You have to help me!”

Carina moved quickly, wrapping her arms around my waist and burying her face in my chest. She was sobbing, squeezing me. I looked over at Denny, who had a horrified look on his face. We had worked very hard to keep Club D a secret, and to keep our ownership and involvement an even deeper secret. Now, our star attraction was in the IDS lobby hanging on to me like a long-lost love. Everybody was turning to stare at us. One guy started to take a picture, but the look on my face told him I’d shove that phone up his ass if he didn’t put it away.

Denny tried to stand between us and the crowd, then said over his shoulder, “Sammy, you need to get her out of here, fast.

“Okay, okay, okay, calm down, look, I’ll help you,” I said, pushing her back so I could look her in the eyes. “I’ll go with you to the police station and Denny will call our lawyer and have him meet us there. Okay, just calm down. We’ll get Niko out of jail and get his Visa reinstated. Somehow. Just please, calm down and let’s go.

“Oh, Sammy, I knew I could count on you!” Without warning, Carina wrapped her arms around my neck and planted a kiss on me that would have made lesser men melt in their jeans. She clasped my ears between her hands and shoved her tongue in my mouth and pressed her tits against my chest. She brought up her right leg and hooked it around my leg and ground her pussy against my thigh. She held on tight. It took me a moment to pry her loose.

“We can’t do that here,” I said, my hands firmly on her arms to keep her back. She reached for my belt and gave me a sly grin.

“Maybe we do it in the car on the way to the police station,” she said, eyes sparkling now. “Little high-speed fuck and suck?”

“No, dammit, Carina, stop it!” I turned to Denny. “We’re going to the police station. Call Carl King and have him meet us there.

“Got it, now go,” Denny said, pushing me toward the door. “Before anyone gets suspicious.

I put my arm around Carina and led her out the door to my car. She kept clawing at me playfully. Any other time I would have banged her right there in the parking lot. Or taken her to my house and turned her every which way but loose. But this morning, my cock ignored Carina’s advances. It was still sleeping peacefully in my jeans, dreaming sweet dreams of Andrea Nichols.
