I knew the fossil dig would be fun. Of course, I didn’t expect Lucy to ask Alex and me to take her, but I’m more than happy to accommodate.
Lucy’s party started to wind down after the cake was served, and I was itching to get my hands on Alexandra. She did a good job of avoiding me after Lucy put her on the spot.
I texted her a few times from across the yard. I saw her read them, shake her head, and put her phone back in her bag.
Before I head out, Mac, Daniel, and I make plans to take a day off in a few weeks, and go out fishing on Daniel’s boat. I almost get away from the party before either mention Alexandra’s name. Almost.
“So, you and Alex are going to take Lucy to the animatronics show and the fossil dig, huh?” Mac asks.
Knew it was coming.
“Seems so. It’s hard to say no to that kid.” Blaming it on Lucy seems childish, but I do it anyway.
Daniel laughs. “You know Lucy wants you and Alex to be boyfriend and girlfriend, right? She’s playing Cupid.”
I act offended. With my hand over my heart, I tease him, “You mean I’ve been duped by a little girl? She doesn’t really love me.”
We all get a laugh out of Lucy’s plan. But secretly, I hope it works. It’ll be nice to take a day trip a few hours away. No one will know who we are, and we can get to know each other better.
I make my rounds, saying goodbye to everyone. Stopping where Nicole and Alexandra are standing, I give Nicole a hug and extend my hand to Goldie.
“Looks like we’ll be seeing each other soon,” I say, knowing full well I mean today, but Nicole will assume in a few weeks.
Alexandra shakes my hand. “Yes, I’ll see you soon.” She squeezes just a little when she says it.
I hop on my bike, and head to my place. I’m only home for twenty minutes when I get a text from my woman.
Alexandra: Jesus, that was crazy. Where are you right now?
Me: My place.
She doesn’t respond right away, but when she does, I can’t hide my smirk.
Alexandra: Meet me in the gazebo in the park down by the marina. I’ll be there in an hour. Oh, and bring your truck, not your motorcycle. Park it facing the water.
It’s an odd request, but I’ll go along with her for now.
Me: See you then.
I take a quick shower, throw on some clean shorts and T-shirt, and head out to the park. At her request, I drive my pickup.
It’s a little before sunset when I arrive. I hop out of my truck and head to the gazebo. Alexandra is already there and hot damn, she’s still in her dress.
“Goldie.”
“Beefcake,” she replies with a smile.
“I admit I’m a little intrigued as to why you wanted to meet me here, and with my truck.”
I walk over to her, and feel as though I’m a moth being drawn to the light.
She wraps her arms around my waist. “What if I told you I have a fantasy about having sex outside as the sun goes down?”
My dick immediately responds before I can say anything. Alexandra must notice because she starts to grind herself against me as she lays her head on my chest.
“So, you’d rather have sex and not yell at me for what happened at the party today? I’ll take that as a double win.”
She looks up at me. “Oh, you and I are going to have a talk about today, but only after you fuck me in your truck.”
My mouth waters at the thought. I move my hand down her back, gripping her ass. It’s the best ass. “You sure about that, darlin’?”
“God, Colton. You had me so turned on at the party today. The way you interacted with Lucy, the way you gave me that sexy smirk. Hell yes, I’m sure.”
I take her by the hand and lead her back to my truck. It’s getting a little darker with the sun going down. My truck is parked in such a way that we’ll be able to watch the sun set over the water.
When we get to my truck, Alexandra pushes me up against it. She’s on her tiptoes as she crashes her mouth to mine. I guess I should let Lucy be my wingman more often.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m loving this, but I feel like something’s wrong here. I pull back a little.
She’s breathless when I do. “What’s wrong?”
I run my hand through her hair. “I just want to make sure you’re OK, Goldie. This seems a little out of character for you, though I’m not complaining.”
She looks up at me with a fire in her eyes. “I haven’t been able to get you out of my mind. I’d like to experience this with you.”
Alexandra waves her hand around. “We’re just surrounded by some much beauty that I thought it’d be romantic.”
I move my hands to both sides of her face. “There certainly is beauty out here.”
She swallows hard, so I move my mouth over to her neck, giving her light kisses.
“Oh God, Colton. Please, I need you right now,” she whispers.
We both fumble for the door handle. Laughing now, I boost her into my truck, taking the opportunity to get my hands on her ass again.
I run over to the driver’s side and hop in. I catch Alexandra looking at herself in the mirror. “Don’t worry, darlin’, you can’t get any more beautiful than you are right now.”
