Double Brother Trouble by Katerina Cole (26)

Claire

I had been scared to death to take it. Even more petrified to buy it. But I knew I had let things go on too long. About three weeks too long.

I stared at the pink stick in my hands. My fingers trembled.

“Oh my God. I’m pregnant.” The little line was as clear as it could. I ripped open another test just in case and peed on it.

I wasn’t taking any chances.

I paced in the living room, waiting for the timer to go off when there was a knock on the door. This was the worst timing.

“Look, if you’re selling anything, I’m not interested,” I explained as I pulled the door open.

I gasped, stunned by the vision standing in front of me.

There they were. Tall, muscular bodies, chiseled faces, dark hair and even darker eyes. I’d seen their faces in my mind non-stop ever since the day I left the ranch, yet somehow, even my own memory had forgotten how breathtaking they were in person.

Caleb and Nash.

How had they found me? How did they get here? What did they want?

Was I dreaming?

“Hello, Claire,” Caleb said.

“Hey, baby.” Nash winked.

“Can we come in?”

“Caleb? Nash? W-What are you doing here?”

“Maybe you should let us in. Let’s talk a minute. We came straight from the airport.”

I blinked. “Oh yeah. Of course.” I stepped back and let them walk past me.

“I’m here,” Caleb started. “Because I haven’t stopped thinking about you from the very moment you left the ranch. From the very moment you left me. I need closure, Claire. I need to know what happened, and why you left without saying a word. I need to know what part I played in this.”

I was speechless. My eyes darted to the counter where I had left the first pregnancy test. Oh shit. What if one of them saw it?

“Please, Claire, just tell us what happened. We won’t get mad, baby. We just need to know.”

“You think I owe you an explanation instead?” I asked.

The men exchanged a confused look. “Yes. You walked out without a goodbye. No note. No email. Nothing.”

“Why would I do that after what you two did to me?”

“What we did was something between three consenting adults. I asked you so many times, Claire,” Caleb explained.

I exhaled. “I’m not talking about that. Not the sex stuff.”

“Then what?”

I wasn’t ready to have this conversation. Not after what I had just learned on that stick.

“You have no idea what you’re guilty of?” I pressed.

Nash sighed and looked down to the floor. “All right. Fine. If I’m guilty, it’s for falling for you too quickly. You were like a breath of fresh air coming into the ranch and I just couldn’t get enough. It was like I’d been suffocating and hadn’t even realized it until you showed up. So I’m sorry, all right? I’m sorry if I smothered you and misread the signs. I didn’t realize you weren’t as into me as I was into you. If you wanted me to take a step back, then you should have just told me. Told us. We would have understood. But the way you left…” His voice trailed off and he shook his head. “I’ve lost I don’t know how many nights of sleep over you, Claire. I thought we had something, but I was wrong. And I’m sorry. I’m sorry that I actually contacted your boss to find out where you lived, and I flew all the way over here just because I knew I wouldn’t be able to live the rest of my life if I didn’t get some form of closure over the girl who got away. Caleb is here for the same damn thing.”

“I am. Every word he said. I couldn’t sleep. I couldn’t eat. Darlin’, you left a huge hole in Montana. We want you to come back.”

I blinked. I was sure my ears had to be deceiving me. What in the world were Nash and Caleb talking about? Had they really come all the way out here just to fill my head with more pretty lies?

I crossed my arms and narrowed my eyes at them. “That sounds so sweet and noble, Nash and Caleb. But I’m not going to fall for it. I won’t fall for you two a second time. I know the truth.”

“Claire, what truth? We just told you the truth! Any other version of the truth that you have isn’t real.

“I doubt it.”

“Since we’re here, can you at least tell us what it is that you’re thinking right now?” Nash pressed.

“I heard your staffers. I know that you were only trying to show me a good time so that I would leave a good review for the ranch to help boost tourism and help you get out of whatever debt you were in. I know that everything between us was all an act. You never cared about me. You just wanted to toss me in bed in order to put a down-payment on a good review. Do you have any idea how hard it was for me to write that review, to pretend that you hadn’t crushed my heart the way you two did? Knowing that I’d been taken advantage of? The only thing that made me go through with it was knowing that Luanne and Rosa didn’t deserve for the ranch to close and leave them jobless just because you were such insincere assholes!”

Caleb recoiled. “You heard the staffers saying what?” he asked through gritted teeth.

“Don’t act shocked now. And don’t you dare go back to the ranch trying to take it out on them. They aren’t responsible for your actions.”

“You honestly think everything that happened back on the ranch was just because we wanted you to write a good review? If that was the case, why would we have come all the way here if we’d already gotten what we wanted?”

I remained silent, feeling uneasy about the very valid point Caleb had just made.

The review was out. It was all over. Why were they here?

“Claire, we’re here because we don’t have what we want. What we want is you.”

I blinked, shaking my head. “But they said—”

“Those guys are a couple of young idiots who have a habit of talking about things they don’t always know about. If you wanted to know the truth, you should have come to me or Nash, not them.”

A long silence stretched between us, and slowly, Caleb and Nash moved closer. I watched them with baited breath, trying to determine if all they had just said could possibly be true.

When they were just inches away from me, Caleb gently grabbed my face with his strong hands and stared into my eyes, forcing me to look back into his.

“Claire, tell me. Did you feel anything between us? Because if you didn’t, I’ll turn around and leave and you’ll never have to be bothered with me ever again. But if you did. If you felt what I felt. I can’t be without you. And I won’t. Or are you going to run away from me again? Why did you run, Claire? Why did you run instead of just talking to me?”

He stepped back and Nash ran his thumb along my bottom lip. “Baby, baby. Why did you leave us? We want to take you back to Montana with us. We want you. All of you. Why did you run?”

“Because I was afraid,” I whispered.

“Afraid of what?”

“Afraid of what I was feeling. Of how strongly I was feeling. I’ve never been the kind of girl who could stay in one spot for long. I’m not meant for settling down. That’s why my ex left me for someone who could. But I found myself wanting to stay in Stonecreek with you. Both of you and that scared me. I didn’t know what to do or to think. I guess when I heard your staffers talking, I saw it as a way out on some level, so I ran instead of coming to you for clarification like I should have. The three of us seemed too good to be true. It made sense you were using me. It made more sense that the three of us together.”

“Claire, we were never using you. Everything I felt, and everything I still feel for you is genuine. I’d swear it on my parents’ graves.”

I swallowed nervously, seeing Caleb’s face drawing near. He left a rough kiss on my lips. “Do you believe me now?” he asked.

Nash growled as he descended on my lips. His tongue lashed wildly against mine. I fell into his arms as he passed me back to Caleb for another toe-curling kiss.

“Do you forgive me?” I asked.

Caleb nodded. “Do you want to hear something crazy?” he said.

“What?”

“I love you, Claire.”

“Brother, I wanted to say it first.”

I spun back into Nash’s arms. He grinned. “I love you, baby. So damn much.”

“I love you too.” I smiled. “I love you, Caleb.”

They kissed my neck and throat. They undressed me until I was naked in my living room. Caleb landed on his knees. His tongue went straight to my heat, prying my folds apart. Stretched wide and open while his tongue danced inside.

I wanted to tell them about the baby, but I needed them first. My hips bucked forward as his tongue lashed at my clit and inside my pussy. It felt so delicious. Even better than before. I realized pregnancy sex might be hotter than before.

I heard Nash unzip his pants and drop them to the floor.

“I’ve missed you, baby,” he moaned as he kissed my shoulders. I leaned into his chest.

“I missed you so much.”

He plucked at my nipples. “I think we need to move her to the bed.”

Caleb looked up from between my legs. His chin glistening with my juices. He smiled.

I pointed to the door at the end of the hall. They shed their clothes along the way. We walked into my room. Two decadent men with giant cocks pounced on me at once. I was in heaven. Nash slid his shaft in my mouth and I sucked viciously while Caleb splayed my legs wide and thrust inside me.

I tried to moan but my groans were gargled by Nash’s enormous rod. He pumped in and out. I loved having them back. I loved having them fill my body. I loved feeling the euphoria they gave me as my body crested with one orgasm after another.

Nash pulled out and immediately spun around. Caleb swapped places with him, thrusting to the back of my throat. I gagged for an instant and then took his swollen cock to the far recesses, welcoming his savage power. He was unleashed and untamed in bed. His reserve always disappeared. Maybe it was what I loved most about him. He looked over his shoulder at Nash.

“You look like a goddess when he’s deep inside you.”

My eyes welled with tears. What would they think when they found out I was having their baby? A beautiful baby we would raise together on the ranch. It would grow up riding horses and learning how to cook in Rosa’s kitchen. What would they say?

“Get on your knees, baby,” Nash coaxed.

My eyes widened. This was what I loved the most. When I would have both of them. I just prayed they didn’t ease off when they found out about the baby.

I looked at Caleb. “Take me,” I whispered. “Deep,” I urged. I didn’t know how many more times he would give me this gift over my pregnancy. I needed it now. I needed him to fill my ass.

I lifted my hips as he sank his giant cock into my tight hole.

“Ohh,” I cried. It had been a month since it had been touched. It was tight again.

Caleb growled. “So fucking tight, darlin’.” He pushed deeper and I hissed with pleasure.

“Please, Nash. Fill me.”

He shook his head. “It looks like you’re back at the beginning, baby. Let me watch Caleb fuck your sweet beautiful hole.” He combed his fingers through my hair.

“No,” I moaned. “I need you inside me. Do it.”

His eyes widened. He rolled under me on the bed as Caleb positioned me on top of him. I loved how they worked together. How they took care of my body.

He sliced into me and I felt the fullness. I felt how full I was. The tears rolled down my face as I looked into Nash’s eyes.

“Are you ok? Is it too much?” he asked.

I kissed him. “I’m having your baby.” I smiled. I looked over my shoulder at Caleb. “Your baby too.”

I saw the look of shock take them over and I giggled just a little. Then Caleb grunted as he exploded inside me. Nash lost it next, skyrocketing to his climax. I came only seconds later. My body buzzing with an entirely new set of hormones.

I nuzzled between them. I grabbed Nash’s hand and then Caleb’s. I pressed their palms to the small swell of my belly.

“Your baby is in there,” I whispered.

“Really? Our baby?” Caleb chocked.

I nodded. “I just found out when you knocked on the door. I took a test and a backup just in case. It’s your baby. A miracle baby. The baby I was told I’d never have.”

Nash kissed the top of my head. Caleb leaned down, sucking my nipple in his mouth. I purred.

“You’re our miracle, Claire. Our perfect miracle. I’m so happy about the baby.” His tongue played with my nipple in the most erotic way.

“Do that again,” I whispered.

Nash took the other side and they both sucked and lapped until I felt an orgasm shatter me. I reached between my legs and pinched my clit to steady myself, but my body was fiery and raw. They sucked harder until another orgasm burst and I scream my release.

Caleb ran his tongue over my nipple.

“So now you come from that? Impressive.”

I giggled. “I didn’t know. But now I do.”

“Now we do,” Nash corrected. “We’re going to take such good care of you.”

“You realize Rosa is going to cook you anything you want. Everything you can think of. All the healthy pregnancy stuff.”

I sighed. “You two think you have this all figured out?”

“We do,” Caleb admitted. “Our baby and you. We’re living at the ranch together. We’re not letting you get away a second time.”

I stroked his strong jaw while Nash ran his fingers through mine.

“And what if I said I wanted to stay in Chicago?” I tested.

Nash laughed. “You want us to move here?”

I twisted my lips together. “Would you? For me and the baby?”

“Hell, yes we would. No questions asked.”

I stared at them in disbelief. “This is unreal. You know that? I was never supposed to get pregnant. And now…we’re having a baby.”

“We’re having our baby.” Nash waggled his eyebrows. “And apparently, someone loves pregnancy sex.”

I giggled. “Someone does. Very much.” I moaned when he climbed on top of me.

“I think I love fucking you when you’re pregnant, baby.”

My heart fluttered. “One and then the other?” I looked over at Caleb. He was watching. But his eyes were different. They were filled with love. Filled with the kind of unconditional trust and caring I’d always been searching for.

“Yes.” Nash took my wrists and pinned them over my head. “We’re going to make this beautiful new body of yours feel pleasure for the rest of the night.”

Caleb grinned. He propped up on his elbow, before leaning over to suck my nipple again. “And in the morning, we’re packing you up and taking you back to Montana.”

“Ohh,” I whimpered when Nash thrust inside me. My eyes locked on Caleb.

I couldn’t believe this was my life. I couldn’t believe this was going to be my happily ever after. I couldn’t believe after all the heart break, our hearts were finally healed. This was my future. My life with these amazing men. It started the instant they landed on my doorstep.

I came three more times that night. I came twice the next morning. I had sex every way I loved. And I few new positions we had never tried.

We discovered the kind of love that was rare and special. The kind of love that came from fully opening our hearts to each other. Our baby was proof that it existed. That happiness and love came from what we had made together.

The next day, my cowboys did exactly what they promised they would do. They packed everything in my apartment, insisting I not lift a finger. I even invited Valerie over to meet them, jokingly making her promise not to try to steal one away.

When she laid eyes on them, I had to keep elbowing her to pick up her jaw. There was something about seeing Nash and Caleb in person that was hard to explain. These men were mine. Both beautiful, sexy cowboys belonged to me. I think Val had to see it to believe it.

We told her about the baby together. It had to be the biggest surprise of all. She hugged me and cried. She knew how much I had mourned the idea of never having a baby. She was the only one who knew what it meant to me to conceive the way I did.

Valerie waved goodbye two days later when we finally left the city with a big moving truck and my tiny car in tow. I knew she would visit. She would want to throw a huge baby shower and meet everyone in Stonecreek Valley. But more than anything, I knew she wanted to discover Double Canyons ranch where the kind of love I found exists.

And who could blame her? What I had was the kind of stuff that I never dreamed could happen to me. Maybe one day it will happen for her. My fingers are double-crossed.
