Daddy Dearest by Isabella Starling (38)

Evangeline

I couldn’t sit still for the ride there.

I didn’t want to tell Carter where we were going, because I wanted it to be a surprise. I just gave him the address and the driver took us there himself. I wore a pretty summer dress I’d found in my closet, and it felt good against my naked skin. Carter didn’t let me wear underwear, but I didn’t fight it. Instead, I giggled when his hand brushed my naked thigh in the car. It felt nice.

Being so excited almost didn’t feel natural. I’d spent most of my life worrying about getting revenge, feeling the wrath of everything that had happened in the short time I’d been alive. But for that night, I decided to let myself live in the moment and stop worrying about anything and everything. I just wanted to enjoy the night with him, and worry about the consequences the next morning.

“So where exactly are we going?” he asked me, his hand resting on my lap.

I looked away from the window and smiled at him. “I can’t tell you yet, but you’re going to see soon. And I think you’ll like it.”

He pondered this information as I looked back outside. The city was flying past us as we drove through. The spot we were going to was technically still in the city, but it was a bit farther away from the center. I was so excited, I couldn’t hold back from telling Carter a little bit more about it.

“I used to come here a lot,” I said, my voice soft. His fingers tightened on my thigh and I gave him a fleeting look before fixing my gaze on the spot where his fingers dug into my skin. “With my mom and dad. We came here a lot when I was a kid.”

“You never talk about them,” he said thoughtfully and I shook my head. I couldn’t say anything, it was too painful.

He made me look up at him, and I blinked away the tears that had gathered in my eyes.

“One day, little toy,” he said affectionately. “One day I’ll find out every single thing there is to know about Evangeline Lovell.”

“Maybe,” I smiled, his words suddenly feeling cryptic in the confines of the car.

Just then, we pulled up in front of the address I’d given him. From here, it was only a short walk to our destination.

He helped me out of the car and I let him hold my hand as I guided him towards my favorite spot in the world. I hadn’t been there in years. Perhaps over a decade. Mom rarely brought me there alone.

We rounded the corner and my eyes widened as we took in the sights.

The Ferris wheel caught my eye right away, standing proud in the middle of the amusement park, like a big mechanical beast. The merry-go-round was still there, too, and so was the arcade, at least from where I could see. But unlike the last time I’d been there, all of it was dark and quiet. There wasn’t a single soul there, and a large iron gate barred us from entering the site.

“Oh no.” My bottom lip trembled as I wrapped my hands around the gate. “I didn’t know they’d closed it down.”

Carter dusted off the sign leading into the site, and read the name off it. “Fantasy Fair. Looks like it’s seen better times.”

I felt miserable, like I was going to crumple in on myself. I’d really been looking forward to seeing the park again, and I’d gotten all worked up about it. Now, it felt like such a huge disappointment I could barely stay upright. It felt draining.

“Come on, little toy,” Carter said placatingly. “I’ll take you out to dinner instead. We’ll still have a good time, I promise.”

Reluctantly, I followed him back towards the car. If the driver was surprised by our sudden return, he didn’t show it.

We got into the car and I was silent as Carter gave him the instructions. We were going into the city now, and I felt sad and underdressed for the restaurant we pulled up in front of. At least Carter was wearing a shirt and appropriate trousers. He rolled his sleeves down, hiding the ink that covered his forearms. I felt so out of place.

He helped me out of the car and then into the restaurant. I felt so many pairs of eyes on me, it felt daunting. Socialites, beautiful women I could never compare to in my simple sundress and ballet flats. I felt silly, and I felt foolish.

Carter led me inside, where they gave us the best table. It seemed as if it was enough for him to flash a smile to get exactly what he wanted. And his name would open any door for him in case that didn’t work.

We were sat down across from each other, and the long tablecloth draped over my legs. Sadness overtook me as Carter ordered for us, a bottle of wine so expensive it made me do a double take at the menu, and some food he promised me I would enjoy. And once the waiter left, he must’ve noticed how miserable he was, but he didn’t do a thing. Instead, he told me to wait while he made a call.

He was gone for almost ten minutes. I sat there feeling so very sad, and with the eyes of every woman in the restaurant glued to me. They snickered and laughed, probably wondering what Carter was doing there with a girl half his age. He could’ve had anyone he wanted – why would he settle for me? It didn’t make any sense.

He finally returned what felt like ages later, not paying any attention to my bad mood. Instead, he poured me some cider – non-alcoholic, which only served to remind me that I was younger than him and could never compare to the other women he’d had.

“Evangeline,” he said, and I looked up at him, trying not to let my sadness show. “I need you to do something for me now.”

“What?” I asked, my voice about as excited as I felt about the task.

“You’re going to touch that pretty cunt for me.”

I blushed deeply as he wiped his mouth with a fabric napkin. I looked around us nervously, but it didn’t look like anyone had heard.

“I want you to come by the time the food gets here. I’ll count down for you, pretty little toy,” he smirked at me.

“Please, no…” I looked around us, feeling the blush creeping up my neck. “I don’t want to, not in front of everyone. Please…”

“Please what?” he asked, looking careless as hell. “And did you magically forget what you’re supposed to call me, slut?”

I could feel the couple next to us sneaking glances. They couldn’t hear us, but they were definitely curious.

“If you don’t obey me,” he said. “We’ll have to repeat our little experiment from a week ago. Except this time, we’ll go for forty, not twenty.”

I stared at him, letting the anger boil inside me.

“Now, little toy,” he said simply. “Are your fingers between your legs yet?”

I wanted to hit him.

But instead, I pushed the fabric of my dress aside, opened my legs a little and touched my swollen pussy. I didn’t want to, but I moaned so lightly only Carter could hear.

“Good girl,” he praised me, just as his phone rang. “Keep fucking touching. Countdown starts now. Twenty-five.”

I fingered myself, and my eyes rolled back.

“Twenty-four. Oh, look,” he said with a wicked grin, flashing me his phone. “Daddy dearest is calling. Twenty-three. Better take it. Twenty-two, twenty-one. Hurry up, toy.”

I moaned at the sight of Barron’s name on the screen, and Carter answered his phone.

His hand sneaked under the tablecloth, and his fingers forced my own hand deeper inside me. I gasped out loud, eliciting more looks. I wanted to hurt him physically for this, but instead I just gave him a dirty look as he chatted on the phone.

“Well, yes, Barron,” he said pleasantly. “She’s sitting right across from me. Twenty. She’s a little busy right now, though. Nineteen. Yes, I’ll tell her you said hello.”

He kept chatting, counting down for me. As he talked, I stared at him and my fingers worked my cunt until my breaths were short and needy. He was getting me off, and he knew it. His eyes were evil as he looked at me. He was really going to humiliate me like this, in front of fucking everyone.

He was down to ten when he ended the call. And down to five when I saw the waiter coming over with our food.

I was whispering by then, a mixture of soft pleading noises begging for who knows what, and his name. Never Daddy though. I was too scared right there in front of everyone.

“Look at me, toy. Four.” His voice was commanding and I struggled to keep my eyes open, my soaked fingers working towards my climax. He was so painfully handsome. “Three. Keep fucking going. Two. You’ll come for me on one, and you’ll say what we both know you want to call me. Clear?”

“Y-yes,” I whispered. “Please, please…”

“Please what?” He took a sip of his wine, taking his damn time. It was driving me insane. “Tell me, little girl.”

“Please hurry,” I begged.

“Don’t forget the magic word,” he grinned. “One.”

Daddy!”

“Here’s your fillet–”

I gasped over and over again, leaning against my chair, my hand flopping uselessly to the side. Carter laughed out loud as I came, bright fireworks exploding before my eyes and making me groan. Everyone was looking and I didn’t give a shit. I merely giggled as I came down from it, and the waiter placed our food on our table.

“Miss, are you feeling alright?” he asked me, and Carter slid a hundred-dollar bill into his hand.

“She’s fine,” he winked at the waiter, and they exchanged knowing looks. It hurt to know maybe he’d done this before.

Carter stared at me as my eyes rolled back, and I slowly came to.

“Eat up, toy,” he told me, and I stared at the food in front of me, my body not following any orders. I was exhausted, and my thighs were shaking under the table. “Does Daddy have to feed you, Angel?”

I whimpered as he reached over and cut up my fillet mignon. And when he reached up with a forkful of meat, I opened my mouth obediently, sucked it off the fork and ate it.

“Good girl,” Carter grinned at me. “I love girls that swallow.”

I walked out of the restaurant feeling more embarrassed than ever after having my dinner fed to me because my hands shook too much. I didn’t even want to look at Carter as he held the car door open for me.

We started heading back, and he paid no attention to me at all, just swiped his phone this way and that, as if I wasn’t even there. It made me so upset.

“We’re making one more quick stop before we go home,” he told me without looking away from the screen. It made my blood boil in anger.

“Fine,” I muttered, crossing my arms defensively.

We spent the rest of the drive in silence, with him scrolling through his phone until we finally arrived.

I looked out of the window sulkily and was surprised to find we’d parked in the same spot we’d been in before at the amusement park.

“Did you forget something?” I asked Carter, and he nodded.

“Yeah. Come on, little toy.”

He opened the door for me and I scrambled out, then followed him towards the amusement park.

I knew something was different from the moment we started approaching the Ferris wheel.

The whole park was lit up in brilliant lights, shining as brightly as it used to when I was just a little girl.

It was operational again, and the balmy summer night was lit up by the sounds and lights of the amusement park.

I turned to face Carter, my mouth gaping open in surprise. “You did this… for me?”

“Happy first outing, pretty toy,” he said with a grin. “I wanted you to have a special night out tonight.”

And standing there with him, under the lights of the city and my childhood, I knew it would be very special indeed.
