To my other (deviant) half, Ella Frank: You keep me on task when it’s difficult, you hold my hand when it’s impossible, and you’re my biggest cheerleader when it’s sunshine and rainbows. There are not enough thank you’s in the world, and I wouldn’t even know where to start. I adore you, my FLF, and there’s no one else I’d rather be on this insane (seriously—are we crazy?) journey with.

Brellas! Thank you for making our Naughty Umbrella group such a happy place for both me and Ella, and I hope for all of you too. You share your lives with us and we truly think of you as our little book family. Love all of your (hooker) faces, and I can’t wait to see many of you on the road! Oh…and you know I grab many of my character names from you guys, so thanks for letting me steal your first or last names. I hope that when you see it, it makes you smile. (Most of my Faaabulous Hooker Team is a Brella, but just figured I’d shout you guys out too. Thank you for being my “firsts” for every book. MUAH!)

The initial concept of this book was born out of heartbreak, as many novels are, and though it’s taken quite a few turns to get it exactly where it needed to be and no longer resembles much of the original, I’d be remiss if I didn’t thank SM for not choosing me.

I hope you’ll stick around, because there’s so much more to come! Shaw’s story is just itching to be told, so I think I should get back to it…
