Kellan
Two days after my talk with Katy, we left again. Her not being with me sucks.
Sure, I talk to her every day and text but it’s not the same. I plop down on the couch.
Dane and Kane are playing some game, but Kane turns long enough to smirk at me,
“there’s the love-sick puppy.”
I give him the finger.
“You’re not my type.”
We al laugh. Maddox goes back to his phone and Jasper is reading a book.
A little while later, Jasper looks up from his book, “What’s wrong with you, other than being a love-sick puppy?”
I have been thinking a lot about this woman and her being pregnant, and for the life of me, I stil can’t remember if I slept with her
or not. The more I think about it, the less it comes together in my head. I usually am the one that can remember everything but since I was drunk most of that time, I am having one hel of a time with it. I haven’t told the guys yet about this, but I wonder if any of them would remember her.
“The last time we were in, a woman showed up at Katy’s and told us that she was pregnant with my child.”
All the guys heads pop up. They are all staring at me. So, I tell them what happened and what the papers said. When I am done, they are all stil staring at me.
Maddox is the first to speak. “Do you have a picture of this woman? I remember a lot of their faces, since I was the one to show them the door, the next morning. Maybe I can look at it and tell you if her face rings a bel .”
“Yeah,” Kane jumps in, “I saw some of the women too. Maybe, I wil recognize her.”
“How is Katy taking the news? Dane asks
“She said she would stand by me no matter how it turned out, but I know this is really messing with her. She wouldn’t tell me, but I can see it, every time we are together. I also contacted Bradley and asked him to run a check on her and Colt.”
“What does Colt have to do with
this?” Jasper questions.
“Wel , the reason she broke up with him was because she overheard him on the phone with someone, telling someone he loved them. He has continued to send her flowers and show up at her work. She said when he saw the picture of us together he lost his shit and went off on her in her store. So, I got to thinking, since he has been trying his hardest to get back with Katy and she continues to tell him to get lost, then when he found out we were together and when he got pissed and started talking shit, Katy put him in his place, may he didn’t like that too much. We
all know he doesn’t like me. Now, this woman shows up and she is all of a sudden pregnant and she goes to Katy’s house, not mine, to tell us. Something isn’t right somewhere.”
“Ok, I agree. Has Bradley contacted you with any news?” Maddox asks.
“Not yet.”
“He wil . Just give him time.”
Maddox walks over and sits beside me.
“Want to tel me what else is bothering you?”
I lay my head back against the back of the seat. Damn, sometimes I wished my friends couldn’t read me so well. The fact that Katy thought I would cheat on her is still messing with my head. She knows I don’t cheat and yet she still thought I would do that to her. I don’t know if it’s because of the douche bags she dated before me, or what but I need her to trust that I wouldn’t do that.
“If you wanted a girl to know how much you cared about her, what would you do?”
“Tel her or show her.”
“Done both.”
I tell Maddox about my conversation with Katy from the other night. His brows reach into his hair line.
“You mean to tel me that she
thought you were going to break up with her or that you cheated on her. She really doesn’t know how much you love her, does she?”
“I told her I love her many times, but for some reason that was her first thought.”
“Let me think on this one. I wil get back to you.”
The next day, I call and have six dozen roses sent to her. When my phone pings, I smile.
Katy: I love you
Me: I love you too
Katy: thanks for the flowers
Me: what flowers?
Katy: your joking, right?
Messing with her is fun. I laugh out loud.
The guys all look at me.
Me: yeah. Glad you like them
Katy: you’re an ass
Me: your ass
She doesn’t respond back
Maddox elbows me, “you look happy. Get everything figured out?”
“I am happy and maybe.”
“Good.”
“How’s things with Suzanne?”
“Same as usual.”
“Are you going to take Katy’s advice and get help?”
“I’m fine.”
“I take that as a no.”
“I said I’m fine.”
He’s fine for now, but we both know he is actually far from fine. I decide to drop the subject.
“How’s Axel?”
Maddox smiles, “he’s good. next time we’re home, I get him. I wil bring him by, if you want to see him.”
“Of course, I want to see him.”
I love that kid, like he’s my own. I might only be his surrogate uncle but I would kil anyone who tried to hurt him.
When my phone pings, I look down at it.
Katy: I’m glad you’re my ass.
I laugh again.
We just finished our meet and greet and we are walking back to the bus, when two girls start running toward us. Luckily,
our body guards stop them before the reach us. We climb on the bus, and I head to my bunk. I left my stage clothes and my phone on my bed. When I open the curtain, I am stunned silent. Katy is laying in my bunk. She is propped on her side, looking at me. I take her in from head to toe. She has on a black skirt, blue shirt with a guns and roses emblem on it and her hair is braided down one shoulder. She is the most gorgeous thing I have ever seen.
“Hey babe, miss me.”
I grin at her. Hel , yes, I missed her. I climb up into my bunk and pull her under me.
Looking down at her, I can see all the love she has for me, shining through her big beautiful green eyes.
“You know I did. When did you get here?”
“Um…only about ten minutes ago.”
I kiss the side of her mouth, then her neck.
“I wanted to surprise you.”
“It was a very nice surprise.” I tell her, before kissing her collarbone, then between her breast.

I look up at her, “yeah.”
“Colt came by the shop again. I made him leave and threatened to cal the cops, if he came back. He didn’t do anything, but I wanted to let you know.”
This guy is really starting to get on my nerves.
“I’m glad you told me. Anything
else?”
She scrunches her brows at me, “no I don’t think so. What about you?”
“Nope.”
“How much time do we have before
you have to be on stage?”
“About an hour and half.”
“Then let’s move to the big room.
Unless someone is in there.”
From the look that crosses her face, I can tell she is remembering when she walked in on Maddox. I smirk at her.
“Come on Katy. Don’t be such a
prude.”
“I’m not a prude. I like adventurous sex but numerous partners…well that goes beyond anything I have ever wanted to do.”
“Don’t you have fantasies?”
“Well yes. Doesn’t everyone?”
I grin, “I guess they do.” I raise a brow at her, “want to tel me some of these fantasies of yours?”
“No, not right now, maybe later.” She states, as she flushes red.

“What?”
