Eriq: A Shadow, Inc. Novella by Cass Alexander (14)

Two weeks later …

“I told you to keep your eyes open, Kitten.”

Sofia whimpered. Eriq was withholding her climax for what felt like forever.

He was behind her, gliding in and out, taking his time. He knew he was torturing her, but he wanted her to watch.

Her hands were pressed up against the glass of the one-way mirror. They could see into what was known as the Black Room.

The Black Room was dark, with no natural light. Only the dim mood lighting illuminated what was happening on the large sectional couch.

Adam, the new House Dom, was overseeing a newly-hired succubus as she fed from a club member.

Eriq and Sofia, after many lengthy discussions, decided neither of them was ready to involve others in their play. They’d revisit the idea, but for now, it made them both uncomfortable.

Sofia was more than enough for Eriq. She’d assured him he was more than enough for her. Though, it didn’t mean they wanted to refrain from participating in all things kinky.

The day with Lucy in the training room confirmed Sofia had a fondness for voyeurism. She liked watching, and Eriq got off on how much his Koshenya enjoyed it.

So far, she’d been open to everything he’d suggested. It meant a lot to him to have that kind of trust. Sofia was even trusting him with things outside the bedroom, allowing him to help her figure out what sort of career she wanted.

The hotel industry wasn’t what she wanted. She had a passion for art and was an amazing painter. He’d already started converting one of the rooms in his private home into a studio for her.

He presented her with a few new brushes and canvases. Seeing her eyes light up the way they did, he knew he had to do more. He’d buy her anything she wanted.

He was a sucker for Sofia. Eriq would do anything for her. Well, anything except tolerate her disobedience when he was plowing deep inside her pussy. His dominant tendencies would never go away.

“Are your eyes open, Sofia?”

“Yes,” she sighed, pushing back, seeking more.

“Do you know why I want you to watch them?”

“Because it’s so very naughty?” she joked.

Eriq slapped her ass and she giggled.

“You’re the one that’s naughty. But I’m serious. Look at them.”

Sofia concentrated. The succubus was straddling the male. Her head was thrown back as she rode him. His eyes were on her ample breasts as he thrust upward.

She could have been anyone. Neither had bothered to make eye contact for most of the session.

Eriq withdrew and spun her around, pressing Sofia’s back to the glass and entering her again. He held her by the nape of her neck, forcing her to make eye contact.

Eriq shoved deeper, breathing out as she breathed in. Their bodies worked in tandem, without thought, without forcing it. The were connected on base level.

“Tell me, Sofia. What’s missing?”

Sofia swallowed, her dark eyes flashed to black with emotion, then back to blue.

“Connection,” she answered. “They could be with anyone and it would be the same scene, the same feeling.”

“While I agree with your assessment, Koshenya, I was thinking more along the lines of this.”

Eriq clasped her hand and put it over his heart. He leaned closer, nuzzling her cheek, then her ear.

“Keep your hand there, Sofia. Feel my heart as it beats for you. Feel our connection.”

Sofia shivered with emotion. Her Dom was being terribly romantic … inside a viewing gallery at a sex club, but it was still romantic to Sofia.

“Do you feel it?” he rasped, grinding into her.

“Yes,” she sobbed.

“It’s yours, Sofia,” he told her, picking up his pace. “My heart. It’s all yours. I love you.”

Sofia cried out and he kissed her hard, savoring the scent of her sweet cream filling the small room as she came around his shaft.

He’d intended to tell her when they were in their bed, or at dinner earlier. But it all seemed too planned.

When he saw the couple on the other side of the glass, he knew he could show Sofia the difference between fucking and making love. No matter how or where he took her, it was always making love.

Sofia grabbed Eriq’s hair and pulled his hair, wanting to see him.

“I love you, too, Eriq. So much.”

Eriq sighed happily, greedily reveling in his own contentment. He’d found the other half of his soul. His siblings had always scoffed at the idea.

As a soul-taker, a being who could literally see another’s soul whenever he chose, he knew otherwise. Some souls just fit together. Sofia was his match, in every way.

Done with show and tell, he teleported them to their bed where he could love her without distraction.

Aphrodite pinched the bridge of her nose. That was the least romantic expression of love she’d seen in years. But it seemed to work for them, so who was she to question it?

The Universe told her Eriq and Sofia were a pair, so she did her best to make it happen without pissing off the Fates.

These nephews of hers were giving her a headache. She would need to focus on her niece soon. She was impatient to help Angelique.

Unfortunately, there was another sibling whose ass needed kicking first.
