Full Night's Sleep: Omega of His Dreams Book 2 by Kiki Burrelli (13)

Chapter Thirteen

Grayson

Of all the ways that Grayson could have told Lochlan he was moving him in, threatening to chain him in his room was probably the worst way. Lochlan had gone quiet after that and Grayson could see his wheels spinning. He wanted to run, just like he had wanted to run back during their first meeting with Bryan. Grayson could see the fear in his omega's eyes then as clearly as he did the second time.

He'd called his security team the moment after declaring his claim on Lochlan and ordered them to the hospital where they waited for Lucy to be able to be discharged. As a group, they'd gone to Grayson's penthouse apartment at the top level of Davenwood Research. He could control who came and left from there while still being able to keep an eye on what happened below with the business. It wasn't a set-up that could last, but until everything settled, it would do.

There was enough space for Lucy to have her own room with her baby and for Pax to have his own room, across the hallway from Lochlan's. Grayson had wanted to move Lochlan in with him in his master bedroom, but Lochlan had yet to speak to him. Grayson may have been the type of alpha who brought an omega away from danger against his will, but he certainly wasn't going to force him into his bed.

He looked down at the paper's his lawyer had sent to him that morning. Lochlan was going to freak out when Grayson showed him the official adoption papers he'd had drawn up for him to take full guardianship of Pax. Like it or not, Grayson couldn't think of any other better way to protect Pax until this issue with Bryan was dealt with. He'd meant what he had said before, when it came to the law, possession was a big part of it. As long as he had possession of Pax, the courts would likely grant him custody. It helped that he had an amazing reputation and was also a billionaire.

He stepped through his apartment, barefoot and in his lounging sweats, a shirt and cardigan. Lucy sat in the living room with her son cradled against her chest.

Despite her age, she'd taken to being a mother better than most. Grayson had an idea to introduce her to Willoughby when this all blew over. "Lucy, you have an appointment today," he reminded her. "Someone is coming to escort you there and wait with you. After, I thought you and Pax could swing by the ice cream shop?"

"That sounds great!" she said exuberantly and then it was as if she caught herself. "I mean if you are okay with it."

Grayson didn't frown even though he wanted to. Lucy wouldn't understand the expression and would find fault in herself from it. "I am."

"Do you want me to tell Lochlan since…I mean he hasn't…"

"Spoken with me?" Grayson smiled kindly. "No, I will tell him. Can you be ready to leave in ten minutes?"

"Ready now."

Grayson continued down the hallway to Lochlan's room. The door was open and the room empty. Though the sight made Grayson's heart pound, he realized that likely meant Lochlan was across the hallway. Grayson knocked gently on Pax's door.

"Come in," Lochlan said, obviously thinking he was Lucy. When Lochlan spotted Grayson, he scowled and turned away.

"Grayson!" Pax shouted running and jumping so that Grayson would have to catch him or let the boy fall. Grayson doubted Lochlan had ever failed to catch Pax. "Hey, buddy. Do you want to tag along with Lucy at her appointment and then get some ice cream later?"

"Yeah!"

"Go get your shoes on," Grayson said, setting him down.

Lochlan turned toward him and moved to pass Grayson, but he put his arm out across the doorway. "I want you to stay back with me. They'll be okay. I'm sending them with a bodyguard each."

Lochlan pressed his lips together into a thin line. "I'd like to go with my son," he said.

"So you can speak. I wondered."

The omega stared him down, his cheeks red, his eyes narrowed. "You know I can speak. I just don't make it a habit of wasting my words. Since you don't care to take what I say into account, I don't see why I should say anything. Excuse me."

"Lochlan, you're staying. I have something to speak with you about."

"What is it? Say it now."

Grayson sighed. He turned from Lochlan and went into the living room where the bodyguards were helping Lucy get her jacket on. Grayson saw them out, waving as the elevator doors shut. When he was alone, he turned, spotting Lochlan standing in the hallway, looking at him with an expression that shot daggers. "Do you want to sit down?" Grayson asked.

Lochlan folded his arms over his chest.

Anger rose up inside of Grayson at the way Lochlan looked at him now, like he hated him. He approached the omega, his steps purposeful as he got in his face, ignoring any semblance of a personal bubble. "Everything I have done has been for your safety."

Lochlan snorted.

"Running away wasn't an answer, Lochlan. You were too scared to see that."

Any other omega would have cowered down from Grayson's stance and tone. Not his omega. He stood tall. "Maybe it was a shit idea, but I'll never know because you took away my choices! Now I am locked in here pretending everything is fine for the sake of my kid—"

"Like he doesn't notice how you won't speak to me. We used to be friendly. Used to be more than friendly."

"And then you proved that you were just like every other over-bearing alpha out there," Lochlan replied, poking Grayson's chest.

Even an angry touch felt good from his omega. Grayson's dick hardened in response.

"I wish I had just gone through with it," Lochlan snarled. "I was supposed to tear your company apart. The AOE was counting on me. But I let my feelings get in the way, and now look what happened."

"Look what happened?" Grayson hollered. "You found a sanctuary where you and everyone you care about is safe," he roared. "They will continue to be safe too. I'm adopting Pax. Sign the paper," Grayson snapped dropping the adoption paperwork at Lochlan's feet before spinning away. He made it to the living room before he fell forward, an unexpected weight at his back.

Lochlan's growl in his ear told him that the omega had attacked him and was currently trying to get him into some sort of headlock. Desire and anger fueled Grayson's movements as he rolled over, pulling Lochlan to him so that he could rotate, with Lochlan pinned to the carpet below him. "I take it you have concerns," Grayson replied sardonically, but then he looked into Lochlan's face.

There was anger there, but there was also lust. His pupils were blown, and while he squirmed to get free, he also gyrated his hips, brushing his erection against Grayson's crotch.

"Where are your pills?" Grayson asked between his teeth.

"Gone," Lochlan snapped. "Not like I can get a refill while I am a prisoner."

Grayson held his body up. "I'll get you some. Wait."

"No. This isn't an aggressive heat. Fuck it all, I want you. Some of this is omega hormones. But most of it is me. What the hell is wrong with me? How can I want you despite all that you've done to me?"

Grayson didn't bother pointing out all the places Lochlan was wrong with his statements. He was too fixated on the part where this wasn't just hormones.

He wanted Lochlan too. Who cares if they wouldn't be fated mates or that he couldn't give him his knot? He could still sink into that sweet body, something he'd wanted to do for longer than he cared to admit. He dipped his head down, pressing his lips against Lochlan's as the omega moaned and bucked. It had been so long for Grayson, and they were both already upset. He needed to be careful that he didn't hurt the omega.

Lochlan bit Grayson's tongue in his fervor to kiss him back. He strained his neck up to keep their mouths together. His hands went to Grayson's pants, undoing the buckle as he pushed his pants down. Grayson ripped Lochlan's shirt off his body, before doing the same with the soft lounging pants he wore. In one moment, he was in between his omega's legs, his lubed cock primed and ready to finally enter into the man he had already claimed as his own.

Lochlan grabbed Grayson's hips, urging him forward and Grayson thrust down. Past Lochlan's tight ring, into his greedy channel. He gave Lochlan all of himself in one brutal push and Lochlan's scream of pleasure was his reward.

"Yes, oh God you fill me up like nothing else."

Grayson growled at the imagery of Lochlan, alone and horny using toys or whatever else he could find in the hopes of creating this feeling. Nothing would compare to his cock as no other hole would ever feel as good wrapped around Grayson's throbbing dick.

"Nothing else can make you feel like this. It's me, Lochlan. I give you this feeling."

Lochlan wailed as if unhappy about that, but there was no denying it. As Grayson set a pace that had him sliding in and out of Lochlan's hole, they clutched at each other, shaking from the anticipation of this moment.

Lochlan looked up at him, and he could see something had changed. The air in the room felt warmer, and Lochlan's skin shone from a light layer of sweat. He was going into heat, Grayson's dick, his pre-come, had likely triggered it and there was no way Grayson could stop anything now. He pulled out and spun Lochlan around on his hands and knees. Lochlan looked back, his lips swollen from their kiss and his own teeth.

"Fuck me. Breed me, Grayson. Give me your seed!"

Grayson plunged his dick into Lochlan's sweet hole. His balls tightened as his orgasm approach. The moment before he was sure he would come, something odd happened, his dick felt like it was swelling, growing too large to pull out of Lochlan body.

Holy fuck.

"Grayson!" Lochlan wailed as he came. Creamy liquid painted the carpet below them. Grayson could do nothing but hold on to Lochlan's hips as the impossible happened. He was knotting inside of Lochlan, which could only mean, the omega was his true mate.

Later, he could wonder what that meant about his memories of Coran, right now, he could only feel. As his orgasm peaked and pushed him over, he felt as though he was a geyser waiting to explode or a fire hose that had spent years building pressure. He emptied the contents of his dick inside of his mate. Not a drop would be wasted, and there was a lot there. He could imagine waves of white fluid, like a tsunami, coating Lochlan's insides and increasing their chances of procreating.

Below him, Lochlan was a whimpering mess. He had orgasmed three more times before dropping flat on the carpet only to shudder and moan as Grayson continued to come inside him. Grayson roared, holding his omega in place. For once he did not have the guilt of the past on his shoulders, he could only feel the pleasure of the present and hope for a future with Lochlan by his side.
