Prologue

Jensen rolled over and stretched. He thought it odd to feel sunlight on his face so early in the morning. He stretched his neck out to absorb the warmth, his eyes closed, just a few minutes longer before having to get up and rush to work. Just as he started to drift back to sleep his eyes darted open and he sat up, grabbing his phone.

“Shit. Shit, shit, shit, shit!” He jumped out of his bed and ran toward the bathroom. “Kristina!” he roared. He ran back into his bedroom with his toothbrush sticking out of his mouth.

The balcony doors opened and the warmth from the mid-morning sunshine wafted in. Kristina came strolling in, half naked with just a kimono dangling off her petite frame. She smiled and tried to put her arms around Jensen as she kissed him.

He grabbed her arms and pushed her away from him. “What did you do?” he growled.

“It’s Saturday. You don’t need to work on the weekends,” she purred. “You’re the CEO of the damned company for Pete’s sake. Come to bed and make love to me.”

At twenty-eight, Jensen Dean felt very lucky to be as successful as he was. He was the envy of his co-workers and peers, he lived in one of the best London Bay Homes available and he never needed for anything. He was the fantasy of many women with his dark brown wavy hair, bright blue eyes and chiseled jaw and had a gorgeous nympho for a girlfriend.

He ran back into the bathroom after hopping around the room with half his pants on. “You know…” he hesitated, spitting into the sink. “I have a meeting this morning. It was mandatory! I told you that!”

“I still don’t think you should go in. Just tell them you’re sick or something.” She plopped down on the side of his bed, her kimono falling off one shoulder. Kristina was gorgeous, perfect body, blonde, bright blue eyes and twenty-five. She was Jensen’s current girlfriend but quite the spoiled bitch. He used to like the way she sauntered in front of his friends and how she paid attention to his sexual desires, but after the novelty wore off, he found himself looking for reasons to get away from her.

“You act like it would be so easy.”

“It is. Here, I’ll show you.” She stretched out across the bed and grabbed his phone. As she searched through his contacts he went back in from the bathroom fully dressed but wishing he could have showered. “Hello. I’m calling to let you know Jensen Dean will not be in today. He is in bed and sick with the flu.”

Jensen’s nostrils flared. He lunged toward her and grabbed his phone from her hands. “Hello? Hello. No, I’m sorry. My maid…” he looked at Kristina with wide eyes “misunderstood me. I am headed in right now. Yes…. Yes…. Thank you, I’ll be there.” He leaned toward her with his hands in a vice ready for her throat. “One of these days you are going to be the death of me.”

She rolled her eyes and picked up a nail file. “So what the hell am I supposed to do all day?”

“I don’t know, take a trip to the beach, or better yet why don’t you and some of your girlfriends fly down to Florida for the weekend? I’m going to be busy working anyway.”

“Ugh,” she scoffed. “You suck.” She plopped backwards onto the bed exposing her naked body. She slid her hand up her leg and between her legs as he stood at the foot of the bed adjusting his tie, his eyes fixed on what she was doing. “Come here, lover.”

He licked his lips. “You are sexy as hell.”

“Come here, let me show you just how sexy I can be.”

He walked over toward her, stopped at the side of the bed, his eyes absorbing every curve she had to offer. He leaned down so close to her lips and picked up his cell phone. “You have officially made me late so you are on your own darlin’.”

“What?” she spat.

He shook his head, turned away from her, grabbed his case and walked out the door. As he walked down the hall, he heard her squeal and beat the mattress with her fists like she often did when she didn’t get her way. He smiled as he walked down the stairs and out the door.

“Dude, you’re late. Again?”

“It’s Kristina. She keeps sabotaging my alarm clock and fucking my life up. Ever since she moved in, nothing is sacred anymore.”

“Then why did you ask her to live with you?”

“I didn’t. She just…moved in!”

“You have to admit though, she looks sweet as hell.” He licked his lips. “That ass.”

“Dude…really?”

“Sorry. So, why did you offer to take weekends if you can’t get here on time?”

“I needed to get away from her for a while.”

“Dude, I can’t believe you don’t want that.”

“You’d know exactly what I meant if you were the one fucking her. Meeting start yet?”

“You know it did. Boss is going to have you on a platter.”

“Don’t worry about the boss. I have what he wants.” He held up a file and smiled.

“This is why you are my partner.” He slapped Jensen on the back of the shoulder and they went into the meeting together.

Jensen listened to his computer boot up as he stood in the large window of his office overlooking the city.

“Good afternoon, Mr. Dean.”

“Hi, Annie.”

“Most of the others went home after the meeting. Is there a reason you’re sticking around today?”

Annie was Jensen’s secretary and a damned good one too. Only reason she was still there was because she was pushing fifty-two and quite stout for her five-foot height. Kristina didn’t feel threatened by her so she was safe.

“Honestly, I just don’t want to go home.” He smiled at her. “You don’t have to stay. I’ll see you Monday.”

“Have a good weekend Mr. Dean.”

He smiled and sat at his large oak desk. He just started getting his mind into his work when he heard some commotion out his door.

“Annie? Did you forget something?” he asked without lifting his head from his work. When he didn’t get an answer he looked up. Kristina stood in the door with a tan trench coat on, red heels and a red negligee that any man would crawl through crushed glass to get a hold of. Jensen closed his eyes and sighed. “What are you doing here? I told you I have to work.”

“Yeah, it looks like everyone here is hard at work.” She said putting her head back out the door.

“This is my deal, Kristina. No one can finish it but me.”

“Well,” she sauntered toward him. “Let me be one of your deals. Work on me, baby.”

“Let me finish up here…” he began.

She pushed his paperwork to the side and sat on his desk in front of him.

“Kristina, really?” He backed his chair up to retrieve the mess she made but she cupped his face, pulling him back in her direction.

She picked up his hands and put them on her ass as she slid down onto his lap, leaning forward into his ear. “Fuck me, Jensen.” Her breath was warm on the side of his face and it stirred something inside of him.

“Sometimes you make it very hard for me.”

“That is my intention.” She reached down between his legs and grinned her cute little mischievous grin.

Jensen seemed to forget all about the papers strewn all over the floor. His eyes cascaded down her body as she leaned back and teased him the way she knew he liked to be teased. She slid down between his legs and made herself comfortable on her knees between him and his desk. She unbuckled his pants with one hand as her blood red fingernails slid down his chest and to his zipper. She unzipped it quickly and pulled his cock free.

It sprang out and she devoured it immediately. Jensen put his head back and just let the sensation overtake him. It didn’t take long for his orgasm to take over and fill her pretty little mouth.

She stood up and wiped her lips with her fingertip, straddling him and grinding her pelvis into him. She always knew how to manipulate him, how to change his mind and how to get her way.

He stood up, grabbed hold of her ass and set her down on his desk. He backed away from her and turned her around so she was bent over. His hand came down on her ass cheek three or four times until she started to giggle. He grabbed a fistful of her hair and slowly slid his cock inside her as he slid his hand down her back. Kristina had amazing curves. She knew how to take care of herself. It was one of the things Jensen loved about her.

He hooked his fingers into her hips and gave her exactly was she was there for, starting slowly and building up speed and stamina. The little movements she made with her body aroused him again and fed his desire for her. He loved watching her reactions. She wanted to turn around and wrap her body around him like she often did when she was close, but he wouldn’t let her. He held her in place and pushed in harder causing her head to rear back and her body to stiffen up. Small yelps escape her mouth with each thrust he pushed into her. Even though she liked to wrap herself around him during her orgasms, he knew she loved to be dominated even more.

“Mr. Dean, I need to talk to you about your girlfriend.”

“Is she here?”

“No sir. She stormed out when I refused to do her laundry.”

“You know how she is.”

“Yes, I know exactly how she is. I work here…for you. I take care of your mansion and your penthouse. I take care of things for you. Not her! She seems to think she can order me around. I am your housekeeper, not her slave.”

“I know.” He took Paulina’s hands and pleaded with her. “I’m sorry, again. I will have a talk with her.”

“It does no good Mr. Dean. I am telling you, I have worked for you for ten years. The last two…” she swished her arms left and right, “no good! If things do not change I will quit!”

“I told you. I will talk to her. Don’t quit. I love you here. You take care of me.”

“You! Not her!” She threw her hands up in the air and walked out of the room.

The hot tub felt exceptionally good as Jensen soaked the rest of the afternoon away. He sipped his scotch and let the heat from the water massage his muscles.

“Jensen….”

He closed his eyes and pretended he didn’t just hear Kristina call his name.

“Jensen….”

It was no good. Her voice got louder. He downed the rest of his drink and thought about submerging himself under the water.

“There you are. Why didn’t you answer me?”

“The…bubbles…” he pointed toward the water. “Sorry. Want to join me?”

“Ugh, no. It will wrinkle my skin.”

“How did your photo shoot go?”

“They love me.” She sat down on the edge and kissed the top of his head. “What’s for dinner? I have been starving myself all week.”

“Listen. I need to talk to you.”

She ran her fingers through his hair. “Ya know, you should put highlights in your hair. It will make you look more distinguished.”

“Kristina, listen to me. You need to lay off Paulina. Be nicer to her will you?”

“Are you kidding me? You want me to hobnob with the staff?”

“I didn’t say you needed to hang out with her, but you can be civil.”

“Hey, maybe we can go get our nails done together,” she said with a fake smile on her face. “I can show her how to match color to her wardrobe and she can try to get it to match those ugly uniforms she insists on wearing.” She rolled her eyes and lost the smile. “I don’t think so. If she doesn’t like the way I treat her then maybe she needs to go…find something else to do.” She waved her fingers in the air toward the door.

“You know, Kristina? You really are a bitch. Go home.”

“I am home.” She looked insulted.

“My penthouse is not your home nor has it ever been! If you continue to act like a spoiled…little bitch…it never will be either!”

Kristina stuck her bottom lip out and put her head down. “But snookums, what about the way I take care of you?” She scooted closer to him and leaned toward his neck. Her teeth grazed his skin sending a cold chill down his back into the hot water.

“Don’t. Don’t do that.”

“I’m trying to tell you that I’m weally weally sowwy.” She slid into the water with her clothes still on and wrapped her arms around him. She kissed his neck again and pressed her body into his. She pulled her mouth up to his ear and licked it. “Let me make it up to you, baby.”

“Promise me you’ll be better to Paulina?”

She drew an X over her heart with her fingertip, nodding seductively.

He leaned forward and pressed his lips into hers until they were half naked and grinding against each other. “Let’s take this upstairs.” He picked her up out of the water and followed her inside and up the stairs leaving a trail of water behind them.

Jensen woke up from dull shouting in the distance. It interrupted his only morning he was allowed to sleep in and he wasn’t happy. “What the hell?” He sat up and looked at the bed. Kristina wasn’t next to him. The shouting sounded stronger and he jumped up out of bed. “Shit.”

He grabbed his pajama pants and threw them on as he ran for the door. He booked down the stairs, toward the shouting match. It got louder as he got closer to the kitchen.

When he skidded around the corner, he was just in time to see Kristina slap Paulina across her face. Paulina jumped back and held her face, a look of shock in her eyes.

“Did you see what she just did?”

“You deserved it!”

“Mr. Dean. I told you I was through. I will not put up with her abuse.”

“What happened?” he demanded. Paulina turned away and refused to talk. “Kristina?” His eyes burrowed into her and she knew he was serious.

“She always puts those awful herbs on my omelet. I want a simple omelet and she can’t even do that right!”

“I have always done that. You know that!” she screamed waving her hands in the air. “You never ask for a plain omelet! And besides, why do you have to hit me? Over an omelet?”

“Apologize to her.”

Kristina looked at Jensen, shocked that he would dare ask her to do such a thing. “Me?”

“Now!”

She crossed her arms and pouted, mumbling her apology in a half assed manner. “Sorry.”

“If you ever….”

“Mr. Dean. No need.”

He turned away from Kristina and looked at Paulina. “Paulina?” He knew what was coming.

“I’m done. I quit. She wins.”

“Paulina, please don’t go.”

“Bah!” She threw her hands up and walked toward the door. “I will send for my things.”

Jensen stood there feeling defeated as the door closed on the only woman who knew him the best.

“How dare she!” Kristina scoffed.

Jensen slowly turned toward her and clenched his jaw.

“What? Why are you looking at me like that?”

“I want you…out of my house.”

“But snookums,” she pouted, jutting her lower lip out. She slid her arms around his neck and purred at him.

“No.” He grabbed her arms and pushed her back away from him. “I’m done with your bitchy attitude, your self-centered needy bullshit and I want you out!”

She tried to get close to him once more but quickly stopped when she realized he meant business.

“Get out of my house and out of my life. I’m done.”

She slowly walked toward the door and kept looking back as if he would change his mind.

He picked up his phone and hits a button.

“Security. Mr. Black.”

“Retrieve all of Kristina’s things and have them delivered to her place. Make sure she is with them.”

“Yes sir. Anything else?”

“I need you to run an ad for a new housekeeper.”

Jensen ended the call and watched the door close quietly.
