CHAPTER 26

“Have you seen Mandy?” Elliot had just walked out of his study and greeted the older woman with a smile.

Mrs. H gave him a knowing look. There was a definite twinkle in her faded eyes.

“I believe she is freshening up for supper,” the older woman continued to set the elaborate dinner table. “Her sister and Nate called, and they will be here in about fifteen minutes. It seemed that something came up to delay them.”

Elliot had a good idea what had come up. It was the same thing that tended to salute his favorite sister as well.

“I am just going to go and check on her,” he mumbled before internally rolling his eyes at himself. He didn’t need to explain his actions to the woman.

Even though he had known her most of his life and especially through the hard times, he didn’t have to answer to her.

Mrs. H only nodded as if it were the most natural thing in the world.

Elliot knocked on Mandy’s closed door, but there wasn’t an answering call. Testing the knob, he said a silent thank you that she hadn’t locked it and slipped inside.

He immediately heard rustling in her bathroom followed by the sweetest soprano voice singing a popular song on the radio. Elliot had no idea that Mandy could sing. She was good, not a diva by any means, but there was something hauntingly beautiful in her tone that wrapped around his lungs and embedded itself in his heart.

There was a click, and the bathroom door opened, and Mandy walked into her room halting when she saw him standing there.

A flush stained her cheeks, and Elliot could no more have stopped himself from going to her than he could have stopped the earth from revolving around the sun.

She was the center of his universe, and he was starting to see that he was in over his head.

Elliot gathered Mandy into his arms, “I had no idea we were housing such musical talent.”

Mandy’s shy smile had his cock on alert, “You are just being nice.”

Elliot laughed, “It is not often that I am accused of being nice.”

She leaned up and kissed the underside of his chin, “Then they don’t really know you.”

Fuck it, Elliot thought as he leaned down to kiss her. They really didn’t have time for this, but he didn’t care.

Their lips met gently at first. He could taste the toothpaste that she had just used, and her light perfume swirled around them causing him to harden even further. She was becoming braver in their exchanges, and Elliot found that it turned him on when she tried to dominate him.

Mandy pushed Elliot backward until his legs met with her bed and he sat down. She slipped between his legs and cupped his face in her small hands. She loved the stubble abrading her palms and the way his silky black hair slipped through her fingertips.

She tilted her head and began to really taste him with long, broad strokes. When a growl erupted him his throat, she felt her panties dampen even further. There was a heady kind of power knowing that she could bring this powerful man to his knees.

Mandy pushed him back on the bed and went for his belt buckle.

Elliot wasn’t about to stop her and wondered what she was up to when she pushed his slacks and underwear down on his thighs. But nothing prepared him for when she licked a broad circle around the rim of his mushroomed head.

“Fuuuck!” he cried out as his hands clutched the bedding beneath him.

Mandy smiled and looked up into Elliot's eyes. And then not breaking contact, she took him into her mouth.

Elliot had never in his life seen anything more erotic than Mandy sucking on his cock while staring straight at him. There was a confident glint in her eye that caused his heart to swell. He wanted Mandy always to feel this way, which she could do whatever she wanted and that he didn’t give a damn about where she had come from.

He hated the things she had endured at the hands of her parents. But she was starting to see that she was more than just a drug abuser’s daughter.

Mandy sank down to take more of him into her mouth, and Elliot swore as his eyes tried to roll back at the intense pleasure. She used her hand to cup his balls, caressing them gently as she licked and sucked at every inch of his cock.

She angled her mouth over him, and he slid all the way to the back of her throat. He knew that he wouldn’t last, not with her deep throating him.

He tried to pull himself away from her, but Mandy grasped his hips and sucked harder.

“I’m going to come, Sweetheart! You need to let me go!”

But she wouldn’t, and he shot off his load into her hungry mouth. She didn’t stop until he had given her everything. It was one of the most humbling experiences of his life. She smiled after using her fingers to wipe the corners of her mouth.

“Fuck, Mandy,” he was still panting.

She laughed, “You alright?”

Elliot shook his head, gathering her close, “No! I think you killed me.”

Mandy snuggled into his arms and sighed as she felt him kiss her temple.

“I want to tell your sister about us,” the words were out before Elliot could consider the repercussions. He was speaking from the heart.

Mandy pulled back out of his arms, “What about us?”

Elliot frowned and before he spoke he pulled his pants up and fixed his clothing. He needed time to think about what he was going to say.

“I care about Mandy,” he began. “I don’t want to scare you away. But could you just think about the idea of there being an us?”

Mandy felt her stomach turn, but not in a good way. What would happen when Elliot found out that the baby really was his? Should she tell him?

“Look,” he continued, “I want to be with you, I want to be there for you when the baby is born.”

Her anxiety skyrocketed.

“Elliot, you don’t understand.”

But he didn’t want to hear Mandy tell him all the reasons why they couldn’t be together.

“You don’t need to make a decision right now,” his voice was patient, but she heard a hint of exasperation that usually wasn’t present.

“No,” she swallowed the panic that was racing up her throat.

He looked sick, “No? What do you mean?”

“I don’t want to think about it,” her words were rushed, and her hands began to shake.

“Mandy,” his whispered plea almost broke her heart.

But he wasn’t getting it. She needed to explain better.

“I don’t need to think about there being an us,” she continued like he hadn’t spoken. “I care about you too. I want there to be an us.”

He crushed her in his arms his mouth crashing down into a hungry possessive kiss.

“You won’t be sorry, Mandy! I swear it, I will do everything in my power to make you happy.”

Mandy felt overwhelmed by the emotion in his voice and the guilt that seemed to have taken up permanent residence in her heart.

“Elliot,” she began, “There are things you need to know.”

There was a knock on the door and Elliot called, “Yes?”

Mrs. H’s voice rang out, “Nate and Kim are here!”

Elliot stood and pulled Mandy up with him.

Mandy tried to stop him, “Elliot, I need to talk to you!”

He grinned at her, “There is so much I want to talk to you about as well. We will tonight after your sister and Nate leave. Does that sound okay?”

Mandy knew that the longer she waited, the harder it would be to tell him. But the coward in her loved that she was being given an opportunity to let it slide once again.

She nodded, and they joined their guests.
