Extended Epilogue

A giggle built up inside Lynn as she set eyes on Adam. “What’s going on? Why are you dressed like that?”

“This old thing?” Adam did a twirl in his new blue coveralls and grinned. “Pete the Plumber at your service.”

“I can’t help it,” Adam said modestly.

“Not you.” Lynn nudged him in the ribs, but he caught hold of her and pulled her into his arms.

“I love you, Lynn Williams.”

“I love you too, Adam Williams.” They kissed, and her life flashed before her eyes, as if it was all leading up to this moment. Their lives were good, they completed each other. And as they kissed and laughed, she gave thanks to her Uncle Freddy, the man who had made this all possible.
