The Krinar Chronicles: Alien Infatuation (Kindle Worlds) (A Hot Alien SciFi Romance Book 1) by Josie Walker (13)

CHAPTER THIRTEEN

Sarah

I can’t believe you were actually serious about building a sand castle,” I say hours later.

I’m wearing a pale blue bikini and Vorek has on white swimming trunks. We’re both crouched down, and playing with the sand. Silly me, I’d been envisioning dumping plastic buckets full of sand for a traditional fort structure and decorating with seashells and whatever materials we could salvage from the beach. But what Vorek had in mind was far more sophisticated.

“What can I say? I know how to show a girl a good time,” he grins and once again I can’t get over how much I love his fun, light-hearted personality. And I’m not just saying that because he’s an alien.

“What’s that thing?” I ask when he holds up a small electronic device.

“It’s called a fabricator,” he explains. “It’s a way to control nannos to build virtually anything you could want.”

“Is that what you used to make your helicopter thingy?” I ask, fascinated by the ingenuity of Krinar technology.

“Actually, I have a more powerful one embedded in my palm,” he replies. He holds up his hand which in turn lights up, revealing a small display screen. “This one is for you.”

“I have no idea what to do with this thing,” I admit honestly. “I’m afraid I’m going to break something and it looks super expensive.”

He rolls his eyes at me, something he likes to do whenever I mention the taboo subject of money. Pardon me if I haven’t lived a life of privilege. I wasn’t born with a silver spoon in my mouth and I know what it is to go hungry.

“We’re going to have a little friendly competition. We’re both going to build something with sand . . .”

“Does it have to be a castle?” I interrupt him.

“Definitely not.”

“What do I get if I win?” I ask, and okay, so maybe there’s a sultry tilt to my lips as I speak.

“The winner chooses where we’re going to make love next,” Vorek says huskily, and heaven help me, my insides clench in anticipation.

“I see.”

Just like that I am determined to win. If nothing else I can distract him until it’s a draw. I saw a hammock back behind the house, and I totally want to do it there next. I’m not very coordinated, so there’s always the chance I’ll fall off and break a bone or two. But I’m certain that Vorek has some of his magic pills with him so I’m feeling daring.

I grab the fabricator and play around with making a few simple items to practice and get a handle on how it works. I make a bucket and a small trowel to dig in the sand with, and I’m surprised at how easy it is to accomplish. I’m having so much fun that I hardly even glance at what Vorek is doing.

Even though I know I don’t have to actually make a castle, I decide that I want to anyway. I wind up re-creating Cinderella’s castle, and I can’t remember the last time I’ve indulged in such a simple pastime. It’s almost like Vorek has given me back a taste of the childhood I missed out on.

If my father hadn’t abandoned us would my parents have taken Amy and me to make sand castles on the beach? Thinking of my sister makes me sad, so I focus my attention back on my silly project, adding a pumpkin carriage complete with horses, a staircase with a lone slipper, and of course Cinderella dancing in the courtyard with her prince.

When did I start yearning for fairy tales? Once I’d added every detail I could possibly dream up I turned my attention to Vorek. So much for my plans to sabotage him, I was too late. We weren’t even competing on the same level. Holy smokes, his creation had moving parts.

I dropped to the sand beside him, content merely to watch. Complex spheres which I could only assume where planets, floated a few feet off of the ground, spinning in lazy circles. I didn’t recognize any of them from my science classes. When he’d finished finalizing his design, he fabricated a large beach blanket and we both snuggled up beneath it to admire his work.

He pointed out the names of a series of planets in a whole new solar system that so far as I knew humans had yet to even discover. There were two suns, and although one of them was significantly smaller than the other, they both supplied plenty of light and warmth to the surrounding planets.

There were three moons, all of equal size. They weren’t a pale grey like our moon. Actually, these moons seemed closer to purple than any other color I could ascribe to them. I wondered if they cast a purple glow on the planets when the suns set. How lovely that must be if they did.

“This planet is called Sagren,” Vorek explained.

Of course, we couldn’t remain that close to each other without someone’s hands starting to wander. Things started to heat up quickly, which meant we needed to select a winner so we could relocate to wherever the next round of lovemaking was going to be taking place.

“I think we both know who had the better sand castle,” I say. Without putting up a fight I cast a dismissive look at my princess themed paradise.

“You did a very good job,” he tells me warmly. “You have a natural aptitude for the fabricator. Most people don’t pick it up so easily.”

“Okay. Thanks. But we both know yours is still better.”

He nods, and I graciously admit defeat, but only because the consolation prize is so very enticing. Location aside, I still get to have steamy times with Vorek so what’s there to complain about? Before I have time to question what he’s doing, he’s scooping one hand under my knees while the other glides around my back. He’s racing towards the surf, so fast that the wind whips hard against us.

“No!” I squeal, but it’s too late. I tense, expecting the water to be freezing, but the temperature is actually perfect. That doesn’t mean I don’t splash him in the face though.

“I’ll get you for that,” he mock growls.

And then we both take turns dunking and splashing each other. He has a not so secret agenda and first my top and then my bikini bottoms disappear, sinking swiftly to the ocean floor. Turnabout is fair play, so I yank down his trunks. And then there’s no more time for teasing, because his mouth is on my breast and I’m reaching down to sheath his mast deep inside me. I moan when he’s seated fully to the hilt, and then there’s the delicious fullness that I always feel when we’re joined together.

My feet are locked together by my ankles, which I have wrapped around his waist. I’m grateful for the fact that we’re on a secluded island, because I don’t think that either of us would be capable of stopping now that the tsunami of lust has been unleashed. He grips my hips and slams me down so hard on his shaft that I can’t help but cry out, but not because I want him to stop.

Far from it . . . I never want this to end. The surf pounds against us, but his legs are planted firmly and we manage, miraculously, to stay upright. I grip on tight, kneading and clutching at his muscular back. I’m so close that when he reaches between us to fondle my clit I fall to pieces in an instant. And then he’s roaring my name as his seed jets powerfully into me, and even though it shouldn’t be possible I’m clutching hard as my second climax blasts through me like dynamite.
