SEAL Cowboy by Ivy Jordan (19)

Chapter Nineteen

James

My arm stretched across the bed, searching for Evelyn, but coming up empty. I lifted my head from the pillow, turned towards what sounding like someone mumbling. Evelyn stood at the edge of my bed, naked, gorgeous as the sunlight beat against her skin from the bedroom window.

“I have to get home,” she mumbled, continuing her frantic search through my messy room.

I leaned up, resting my head on my hand and watched as she tossed my dirty clothes around, picked up towels from the floor, more dirty clothes, and then started shuffling through a laundry basket on my chair that was filled with clean clothes I hadn’t had time to put away.

“You are so beautiful,” I sighed.

Her cheeks were pink as she snapped towards me.

“I need my clothes, and you need to get up,” she demanded.

“I know exactly where your clothes are, and I’m already up,” I smirked as I pulled the blanket from my erection.

Her cheeks turned red now, but her eyes lingered on my manhood for a moment before turning her attention to my face.

“I’m serious,” she scowled.

“I am too. Come here and give me a ride, then I’ll take you home,” I pleaded.

“Didn’t I ride you enough last night?” she giggled.

“Apparently not,” I motioned towards my cock using my eyes.

“You have to take care of that yourself,” she said, but I could tell she was teasing.

Her nipples were starting to harden, and her eyes were filled with hunger as she glanced again at my arousal.

“At least come here and give me a proper kiss good morning,” I pouted.

She hesitated at first, but then slowly walked towards the bed. Her body smelled so good, of sex, sweat, and the mixture of my body wash and laundry detergent. I gripped her tightly around the waist and pulled her onto me in the bed. Her skin was warm, smooth, and felt amazing pressed so hard against mine.

“James,” she squealed as my grip tightened around her.

I knew she could feel me, hard beneath her, grinding into her with a yearning that I couldn’t control.

My lips covered hers, giving her a proper kiss, and then I released her to run away as she had pretended to want to do. She didn’t run. She didn’t move a muscle as she grew limp against my hard chest.

“See, was that so bad?” I asked.

Her head shook slowly, a smile rolling onto her face as her eyes stared into mine. I couldn’t remember ever seeing a pair of eyes so green before. She leaned in slowly, letting her lips press into mine as her hand slid between us, gripping me tightly by the cock.

I was fascinated with Evelyn Pierce, the little nymph that Axel sent into my life. She was smart, ferocious, and surprisingly uninhibited in the sack, at least once I could get her there.

She had her way with me, leaving me breathless on the bed, my legs heavy and my head light as she jumped up, back on her pursuit of her clothes.

“Come on,” she called from the living room as I finally settled enough to get up.

I grabbed my clothes, slid on what I could and carried the rest with me into the other room.

Evelyn wore the same navy skirt from the night before, the one I slid up her hips while she unlocked the door. She wore the same silk blouse that I unbuttoned while she pleasured herself on my table. I growled at the sight of her, my blood fighting its way back between my legs.

“What is wrong with you?” she laughed.

I moved towards her quickly, causing her to let out a high-pitched squeal. She moved back a step, and then two, and then took off running as I chased after her through the house.

Cornered in the kitchen, nowhere to run, she giggled hysterically as I approached her like a lion to its prey.

I was so hard I could slide her up into my arms and down onto me right there next to the fridge, but instead, I decided to tease her the way she liked to tease me. My hands pinned her in; my body pressed her against the wall where she stood. Her eyes widened, and tiny squeals rolled from her throat as I pulled one hand from the wall, giving her a clean escape route. She didn’t move. My hand slid to her skirt, then under it. She wasn’t wearing the panties she had the night before; instead, my fingers met aroused flesh, slick and swollen. One finger slid inside of her while a thumb massaged her pulsating clit. In and out, slow and steady as she melted into my palm. Her breathing grew wild, and those tiny squeaks turned to moans as she pushed her weight onto my hand, ground her hips towards me, then away. Warm cum swirled around my finger as her muscles clamped against my digit, pulsating with wild thrusts. My eyes locked onto her, watching every twitch of the eye, every lick of the lips, and every rising of the chest. She was the most beautiful creature I’d ever laid eyes upon, so raw, so real, so majestic.

I slid her long red locks from her shoulder and tucked it behind her ear. My lips leaned in close, kissing the tiny mole I exposed on the side of her neck delicately.

Her eyes opened. Her lips parted, and a sultry sigh rolled through them.

“Let’s go,” I smirked, taking a step back from her and adjusting my shirt.

Evelyn’s body looked molded to the kitchen wall as I turned back to make a face of impatience just to tease her further. I had to bite my tongue not to laugh.

I watched as she fixed herself, trying to put on her professional face once again. Even though she thought she was capable of hiding her attraction to me, she was dead wrong. I didn’t plan on ever telling her though.

Evelyn’s home was actually an apartment situated between my ranch and Amarillo.

“How can you stand living without any land?” I asked before I could stop myself.

“I’m hardly ever home,” she smiled.

“I can see why,” I laughed.

I helped her out of my truck kissing her gently on the cheek before she could squirm away. She was nervous, obviously flustered by a neighbor waving at us as I planted my lips on her soft skin.

“I’m sorry. I have to run,” she breathed, turning quickly to rush towards a large white door with the number four on it.

I sat in my truck for a moment before leaving, watching the building she rushed into. A couple seconds after she entered, a light flicked on in the front apartment on the third floor. I chuckled at the thought that she liked to be on top, no matter what she was doing.

There was plenty of work waiting for me back at the ranch, and I planned to use it to keep my mind occupied, and off of Evelyn.

That plan worked for the first few hours, banging nails into fresh wood to finish up the urgent repairs on the fence surrounding the ranch. I was hot, sweaty, and that only made me think of Evelyn more. Fuck, that little redhead is tearing me up.

“C’mon, Queen, let’s go for a ride,” I stroked her smooth gray coat gently before I climbed onto her back.

Without commands, Queen took off, running towards the lake, towards the place I planned to build my home one day. The wind cooled my skin, calmed my yearnings, and reaching the spot where my house would be brought a new series of thoughts into my mind, still of Evelyn. Would she like living out here with all this land, or did she prefer the close quarters of neighbors? Would she even be interested in entertaining the possibility that what we had was much deeper than just sex?

“I know you’d approve of this one,” I spoke to the sky, to the heavens where I knew old man Jasper watched down on me.

My watch flashed three o’clock. The doc was coming by around four to check on the new calf and his momma. I had to hustle.

“Let’s go, girl,” I squeezed Queen with my thighs, sending her back towards the barn.

While I waited for the doc, I shot a quick text to Evelyn.

Me: I would love it if you came out to the ranch tonight for dinner and maybe a moonlight ride…

I started brushing down Queen, cleaning her hooves, and making sure she was in tip-top shape before she went back to her stall for some fresh water and a surprise carrot.

My phone finally beeped, displaying a response from Evelyn.

Evelyn: Like I said earlier, haven’t I ridden you enough? LOL

Heat shot to my cheeks as I chuckled aloud alone in the barn.

Me: Never. Be here as soon as you can. Come hungry, and bring what you need for the morning. I don’t plan on returning you tonight!

I waited for a few seconds, staring at the screen of my phone like a lovesick teenager, but she didn’t respond before Doc surprised me.

“I didn’t even hear you pull up,” I gasped.

The old potbellied man laughed, his belt bouncing with the blubber it held in with each chuckle. He’d gotten old. His hair was mostly gone, but what little he had was combed over the top of his age-spotted head like thin white yarn. His cheeks were bright red, exaggerated circles high on his jawline like pictures you see of Santa Clause around Christmas time. Old man Jasper and the doc went back a lifetime, and I knew he missed him as much as I did.

“I’m glad to see you here, James,” Doc smiled as he patted me on the back.

“There’s no other place I’d rather be,” I sighed.

“I hear you’re having some trouble with the kids,” Doc inquired.

I nodded.

“Nothing I can’t handle,” I smirked.

“Martin told me time and time again that he wanted this place to be yours,” Doc inserted.

“Yeah, he knew I’d kill myself to keep this place running, to get it back to what it was, even better if possible,” I grinned.

Doc nodded, letting out another belly buster that bounced his belt.

“So, where are momma and baby?” Doc asked.

I guided Doc towards the pen and started explaining how scared I was delivering the calf without old man Jasper. He laughed but encouraged me with nods of approval as I explained how I’d handled it.

I leaned over the fence from the outside of the stall as Doc inspected the little calf first.
“He looks healthy, how’s he eating?” he asked.

“He took to it right away, but he seemed to be struggling a bit this afternoon,” I noted.

Doc gripped the heifer’s udders in his hands, stroking each one and fiving a tug to get milk to squirt towards the hay. He guided the calf over, got him to start feeding, and stood to look the mom in the eyes. He made everything seem so easy, just like Jasper always had.

“She’s running a fever,” Doc said calmly.

The calf laid down in the hay, giving up on feeding while Doc tended to his mother.

“Has her placenta fallen out yet?” he asked.

“No, but it’s only been a couple days,” I queried.

“Usually they are okay to drop it themselves, but I think it’s retained,” Doc stated.

I knew what that meant, and if I knew Doc as well as I thought I did, he was gonna make me do the dirty work.

“Grab the gloves,” he nodded towards the long pair hanging on the post behind me.

I must’ve had the look of death on my face because Doc couldn’t stop laughing as I moved towards the back of the heifer.

Elbow deep into Gretta the Heifer, and of course, Evelyn’s car starts up the lane towards the barn.
