Triple Threat: An MFMM Romance by Daphne Dawn, Liz K. Lorde (61)

Epilogue

I walk up to the boys from the front of the house. They haven’t seen me yet. They’re sitting in the courtyard just outside the kitchen. It hadn’t been used much before I moved in, as the boys were always too busy.

Now that it’s the four of us running the business, we’ve found that there’s always time to enjoy a few hours together.

I personally had the deck fixed up, planted new flowers and had it re-paved with light grey rock. The dining set is comfortable, just perfect for lounging on a hot day. Over-hanging branches of sweet wisteria add a cooling shade. It’s very warm today, and the boys are sitting around the table, drinking iced tea.

I know they’re waiting for me. I savor the view of them talking and laughing. They have no idea I’m watching, and I’m letting my eyes feast on how beautiful and different they all are.

My loose, soft white dress tosses about me in the breeze. My hair falls around my face, and I lightly brush it away.

I’ve never felt as comfortable and safe as I do here. I know it’s not just the beauty and security of the old mansion. It’s my three boys and how they make me feel loved.

It’s been over a year since it all went down. The senator was arrested during the gala dinner and dragged in. He only stayed in jail for one night. He had excellent legal representation and got out on bail.

By then, all the Watch Dogs had come crawling out of the cracks and ran after him like ink on a page. The cops didn’t have time to move.

The amount of people he hurt was unbelievable. Agents like Sammy who had been on the run. Innocent men set up and forced into crime. People seeking help and refuge who were put to work in his sex factories.

Once he got out on bail, there was no stopping it. As if they were born bounty hunters, every single person he had double crossed came after him.

It was Sammy that got him, on a cliff outside his private mansion, about to take off in a helicopter. She shot him as it was taking off, and his body fell into the ocean.

Sammy runs the agency now. She knows more about the senator and his dark deals than anyone else. It made her an excellent spy and an even better boss. I would’ve been more than happy to work for her, but I’ve retired from spy work.

I have plenty of things to keep me busy.

The boys still run the business, but it’s all for charity now. Marco takes sick children out for a ride in his Ferrari and his private jet. He organizes adventures for people and helps them get into all sorts of mischief.

Antonio paints all day and puts on art shows and raffles off paintings for vast sums of money.

Franco still runs the escorts. No street hookers or forced prostitution anywhere in sight. All our escort girls are well-paid and top class.

I help out with all the paper work, mostly working from home. Old Reginald still helps me out with venues, and we plan lavish balls together. Everyone wants to be invited. Everyone wants to put their money into the cause. All of the publicity with the senator only made the boys more famous. The more news it got, the more people pledged to help the family.

Family.

I smile as I step forward from my hiding spot, walking towards the boys as they laugh and joke and sip their iced tea. Marco sees me first and jumps up, knocking his chair to the ground. The others look up immediately and come rushing over.

In seconds, I’m surrounded by their arms and their kisses. Marco supports me with his arm and Antonio takes the other side. Franco kneels down in front of me and rubs my belly, grinning like a fool.

“Well?” he asks. Marco looks intently at my face, and Antonio smiles, hugging me close.

I can’t speak for a moment. I’m so overwhelmed by the feeling of being loved by such gorgeous men.

“Is everything okay?” Marco is starting to get worried.

I laugh and nod. “Yes. Everything’s fine. I’m perfectly healthy.”

“And the baby?” Antonio asks, putting his hand over Franco’s. They rub my belly gently. I’m only a few months along, but my belly is swelling considerably. The boys have been so scared that something was wrong, but we know the reason now.

“Babies,” I say quietly, my grin stretching across my face as I look at each of them.

“Babies!” They all exclaim at exactly the same time. I lean back into their arms as the three of them usher me over to the table. Marco sits me down and puts a cushion under my back, while Franco pulls over another chair and puts a cushion on it so I could prop up my feet. Antonio pours some iced tea and brings it to me.

“How many?” Marco asks as he stares at me. Antonio kneels beside my chair as I take the iced tea. He grips my hand as I take a sip.

“How many, Sofia?” Antonio looks like he’s about to cry.

I put my tea down and smile up at my boys.

“Three,” I say softly. “Three babies.”

They go wild, slapping each other on the back, hugging me, hugging each other, yelling nonsense. I can’t stop laughing.

“Wait, wait!” I wave my hands. “That’s not the end of it yet!”

Stunned, they turn back to me, gathering around my chair again.

“They’re all boys.”

The laughter and wild yelling starts up again, and I can’t stop laughing. I never thought I’d be worthy of the love of one man, let alone three. I never thought my heart could be so full.

We’re a family, and we’re going to be a big one.

Looks like life can only get better from this—and it’s about to.
