I was a little hesitant to even bring up the idea of being friends with benefits because I didn’t know how she would respond. There was a good chance that she would be furious with me for even suggesting it.

For the record, I didn’t want to be just friends with benefits. But if that was my only other option besides never seeing her again, I was going to take it.
