Forgetting Me (Breakneck Book 6) by Crystal Spears (10)

Chapter Ten

Storm

Winter hangs up her call with Brax. We’re receiving information which will dictate how our safety is being handled, as retaliation is bound to come soon. I check on Melody one more time before I sit down at the kitchen table.

Berry has Miracle and baby Lana upstairs.

When Phil was killed, Berry tried to move on with another brother, James, but it didn’t end well either. She’s given up on love and said her place is here with her boys and grandchildren.

Am I having a problem with Berry having Miracle more and more? Yes, but I am more than a mother. I am a wife and an ol’ lady too. It’s my job to learn how to juggle it all. Winter as always, is supportive as hell and gifted Berry and I monitors we can clip onto our pants. They came right after my tryst with ZZ in the closet, and we love them. I can see my daughter anytime I want. All I have to do is push a button and it will vibrate Berry’s monitor, Berry then unclips hers and snaps a photo; or if Miracle is sleeping, Berry can clip hers to the crib and set it on LIVE mode. They run via Wi-Fi and Winter ordered plenty of extra batteries.

Best little invention ever.

I unclip mine and set it down on the table.

“The ladies are on protection duty for us,” Winter mumbles, her attention going back to her computer. “We’re to be packed and ready to move in one week.”

“We’re leaving HQ?” Storm questions Winter.

“Yeah,” she answers not looking up from her screen. “I’ve ordered a few trailers for the property.”

“I’m confused,” Jinx speaks up. “I thought we were ordering bulk for here.”

Winter is patient with her answer, knowing Jinx has never been through anything other than a simple lockdown. “We’re ghosting.”

Okay. I don’t even know what it means to be ghosting.

“I’m confused too,” I speak up. “Ghosting?”

“It means they won’t be wearing their cuts outside of these gates nor riding their bikes,” Winter explains. “We will become essentially invisible to those who don’t know us by face.”

“It seems a little extreme.” Piper stands and then holds her stomach. “I take it back.”

Winter lifts her head from the screen with a small smile. “Exactly.”

“Tea?” I say when I notice she hasn’t said anything to our news. “You okay?”

Tatiana lets her head fall backward and stares up at the ceiling. “We haven’t ghosted since I was a kid. You don’t understand how rough it’ll be. I do.”

She breathes out. “I haven’t had any friends in a long time,” she says, breaking my heart. “I love you guys, but it isn’t the same.” Tatiana leans forward and stands. “I’ll be in my room.”

“Tea….”

“I’m fine.”

When I hear her footsteps going up the stairs, I lean my head on the table and groan. “My step-daughter is not fine.”

“She will be,” Winter stresses. “Brax promises this will be the last time we ever go through this. He’s as fed up as we are.”

I flip my head to the side and press my cheek to the table. “He did?”

“He did,” she confirms. “He vowed it.”

“No shit?” Storm gasps.

“No shit.”

“I’m excited to get it over with then,” I say when I lift my head back up. “Like now.”

“I second that,” Jinx says. “I love you guys, but I’m a newly-wed who’d love to go house shopping with her man.”

Oh no.

Winter gazes over at Jinx dumbfounded.

“He has a place,” Piper says while shutting the fridge.

“Piper,” I chastise.

“Why are you guys being weird?” Jinx laughs. “I know he does. He’s selling it though.”

“You about gave me a fucking heart attack,” Winter groans. “He’s happy for the first time in a long time. I thought Piper done got him in trouble.”

“No. If I don’t know something when I hear it, I only have to ask him. Pyro doesn’t lie to me. We understand there’s still a ton we don’t know about one another.”

“I’m happy to hear it.” Winter relaxes. “Let’s get this ordering over with.”

Oh. My. God.

Why didn’t I let Berry help sooner? My child is sleeping when she’s usually awake. Berry’s performed voodoo magic on my infant child. I peer down at my sleeping daughter and then at my phone.

It’s decided.

I’m using my free time for something other than sleep.

I scramble through the motions of taking a shower as quick as I can. I don’t bother to blow dry my hair, for I’m afraid it’ll wake Miracle. I skip it and apply red-hot lipstick to my plump lips. ZZ loves for me to keep it fresh and only wearing lipstick, red lipstick at that; will throw him for a loop.

Satisfied with myself I move to my closet, drop my towel and slide into my red peep-toe stilettoes and a red silk robe.

I peer down at my daughter one last time before snagging the monitor and leaving the room.

“Keep an eye out for my daughter,” I ask Winter as I toss the monitor onto her bed.

“He’s gonna shit,” she laughs

“Wrong room, darlin,” Braxxon chuckles shutting off their bathroom light.

“I got her,” Winter assures me.

“Thank you.”

I hope I don’t have to search for him. I didn’t bother texting him to see where he’s at. It’d have ruined the surprise.

The sound of my heels gives my entrance into the clubhouse away, and I make quick work locating my man playing pool with Krew, his back is to me, and he’s completely focused in lining up his next shot; oblivious to the room growing quiet with my arrival.

Silly man.

I hold a finger to my mouth and shake my head when Shadow is seconds away from informing Mason of my presence.

Dizzy gives me an approving wink.

Krew gaps at me for a minute and then urges ZZ on. “I’d take the shot,” he chuckles. “Take the fuckin’ shot, brother.”

“Shut the fuck up,” my man grumbles. “I’m concentratin’.”

Krew starts stroking his pool stick and nods in my direction. “There’s a beauty in red behind ya.”

“I’m far more fun to play with than Krew,” I giggle as ZZ turns slowly, his pool stick falling from his grasp when he takes me in. Mason’s chiseled jaw ticks as his chocolate eyes show me he’s pissed I’m in a silk robe in front of his brothers, so I take the opportunity to play with him a little. “Hi, I’m Storm, and you are?” I giggle playing with the tie of my robe.

“Sweet Jesus.” Seneca whistles.

ZZ grips the edge of the pool table behind him and smirks, ignoring Seneca’s comment. Mason’s a smart man, he wants the game, our game, to continue. “ZZ,” he answers low.

I sashay until I’m a breath away. “Does it stand for anything,” I say seductively trailing a finger along his jaw. “I’m a curious little kitten.” I bite my lip, trying to hide my grin when some of the brothers groan. “Fuck it. I’m out,” he groans and sweeps me off my feet, and I let my head fall back with laughter.

The brothers all laugh with me while ZZ practically races us down the hall.

“I win,” I whisper when I steady myself in his arms.

“This round,” he growls throwing the door to his old room open.

“I always win,” I tease when he puts me on the dresser and spreads my legs open. I prop one leg up and put a hand between my legs as he works his jeans off.

“Baby,” he warns. “No.”

I don’t listen.

I dip a finger inside my pussy and moan when I pump in and out. I bring my wet finger to my mouth and suck.

“Fuck!”

We’re about to.

“I fuckin’ love those heels.”

I know.

Mason palms his hard cock and gives it a tug and smirks when I gasp. It’s so swollen with want.

Gimme. Gimme.

“I want it against the wall,” I order. “Hard.”

“Do you now?” he teases.

“Please,” I beg.

“If we must,” he chuckles when he wraps my legs around his waist. “It’s such a chore.”

I moan when his mouth comes down on my breast, and he spreads my pussy open and enters me in one hard stroke.

“Fuck, darlin,” he mumbles with a mouthful of tit. “You’re soaked.”

“Wall.”

“Yes, ma’am.”

I wrap one arm around his neck, my nails biting into his skin and bounce off the dresser and onto his glorious cock.

Up. Down. Up. Down.

“What’s gotten into you,” he murmurs pushing my back into the bedroom wall.

“You.”

“Hands above your head,” he orders, and I comply. “I wanna watch those beauties bounce in my face.”

I come with his words.

“Shit, Storm. What the hell,” he groans while pinning my hands above my head. “I’ve barely fucked you.”

“I’ve missed you,” I moan when he makes a circular motion, and that’s his breaking point. The wall rubs my back raw as my man fucks me so hard I lose all my senses. The barbells of his Jacob’s ladder pinch and pull at my pussy lips while he pounds into me furiously. Then Mason sucks on my neck, my cunt flooding his cock with so much come, it drips out when he pulls out to push back in. “Fuck. Fuck. Fuck,” he chants into the skin of my neck when I orgasm again. “That’s it, baby.” I throw my head back with a long moan when he fills my pussy with his hot come.

I pant in his arms as he catches his breath. “My stamina is fuckin’ shot.”

My fault.

“It’ll be back to normal in a week,” I gasp when his cock twitches. “Fuck.”

“In a second,” he promises with a laugh.

“I love you.”

“I love you, too, darlin.”
