I roll my eyes then fix Savvy with a glare. Her smiling face lets me know exactly what she’s doing and that she’s hit her mark. We pull up to a little restaurant a few miles outside the strip and exit the SUV. Zander opens the door and gestures for us to head inside. As I look around I’m surprised to see they don’t have any bodyguards with them. As I’m about to walk through the door I hear crazy loud music and a roaring engine which has me looking out into the parking lot. A little red convertible bombs around all the cars and pulls into a parking spot near where we’re standing.
“You’ve gotta be fucking kidding me.” Josh growls, clearly annoyed.
“He has a death wish.” Zander grits out.
“Does anybody want to fill us in?” Savvy questions.
Before they have a chance, Matt Kingsley and a few other guys get out of the car. He’s looking quite ridiculous today wearing clothing that is 12 sizes too large and gold chains around his neck. Josh slams his hand against it blocking him from entering. “Matty, get out of here. Have you taken up stalking now buddy? Are you that infatuated with me that you know my every move? I’ll make it easier for you and have my PA send you my schedule.” He stares him down and I see Matt’s resolve waver a bit. But only a little.
“I suggest you get out of my way Joshy boy or I’d gladly show you a preview of what’s coming your way Saturday night.” He steps up to Josh so they’re chest to chest. Well that escalated quickly.

“Do you even have to ask?”

“And Mrs. Adams?” Savvy questions.
“Blackjack.” Zander laughs.

A phone chimes and Zander pulls a cell out of his pocket. “That chicken shit went and bitched about Ashlyn. They’re saying she won’t be allowed at the fight now.”
“What?” I shriek.
“Un-fucking-believable. Alright let’s get out of here so we can fix this.”
“Wait, how are you gonna fix it?” Savvy asks.
“Seeing as the Cage brothers are the headliners, it’d be a shame for us to come down with a horrible bout of food poisoning.” Josh winks at me as we head out of the restaurant.
