Chapter 8

Chloe

“I am really trying to understand why we are working for someone who is not yet a client,” Tara Marks, Chloe’s friend and colleague said as she looked through a file. Even though Tara was a colleague, she was the only person Chloe was close to. They were not exactly best friends but the relationship they had was the closest one Chloe had ever had. Except for the fact that they didn’t sleep together, Chloe was practically married to Tara.

“For starters,” Chloe said as she walked in carrying two glasses of Chateaux Fonplegade. “I am the one working with no pay here. I am already paying you for your time.”

“Well, same difference,” Tara said.

Chloe raised an eyebrow and sat down next to her. She handed one glass of wine to Tara and took the file from her hands.

“You’ve been staring at this thing for hours. Take a break,” she said and Tara forced out a laugh.

“Who are you and what have you done to the real Chloe White?”

“What are you talking about?” Chloe asked before she took a sip of her wine.

“You are the same person who wouldn’t let us take a break after two sixteen hour days…” Tara started and Chloe put a finger up.

“That was injury time in our case. We had a choice between having a rest and saving a child.” She took another sip of her wine. “Forgive me for being human.”

“Good deed or not, you are not one to slow down when you are on a roll and everything you do is for P and A which is why I don’t get why you are working a case that still hasn’t been funded.”

“Pierre is good for it. I’m sure about it,” Chloe pointed out and Tara shook her head.

“Wait, Pierre?” she asked. “As in Pierre Savant from SSL?” she asked again and Chloe shrugged.

“It can be anyone. There are plenty of people out there named Pierre.”

“No, no, no. The strings attached are too many to ignore. I mean, the fact that you are working an unfunded case which makes sense since SSL is in partnership with P and A, and I am looking into Rafaela Montenegro, his ex-wife.”

“Again, it can be pure coincidence,” Chloe said, in a desperate attempt not to divulge any information.

“And the icing on the cake is that I know he was in Switzerland with you at the conference,” Tara went on and Chloe rolled her eyes.

“Fine! It is the same Pierre from SSL. Happy?”

“Oh my God. I can’t believe you would keep something like this from me.”

“You didn’t ask for the convention details,” Chloe said shrugging. “I have a strict don’t ask, don’t tell policy.”

“Seriously, when have you ever been one to keep mum when it came to gossip?”

“When it’s about me Tara. That’s when.”

“So there is something to tell, huh?” Tara asked.

“Will you stop being so dramatic,” Chloe said but her words only seemed to fuel Tara further.

“You wouldn’t be this apprehensive if something interesting didn’t happen.”

Chloe took another sip and exhaled loudly. She really wanted to get away from this…whatever it was. And judging by the way Tara was hounding her, she knew that she had to let something give because Tara was not about to slow down. She took a long deep breath and put her glass on the coffee table.

“Okay, fine. Something did happen in Switzerland,” Chloe started and Tara leaned back with a smile on her face obviously anticipating something juicy.

“Please, do tell,” she said, urging Chloe on.

“Pierre was there as was his team from SSL.”

Tara raised an eyebrow.

“This man actually attended a convention that a team from his company attended too? And he didn’t care for the extra…everything?” she asked.

“He is a billionaire, Tara. A few extra thousand dollars for air fare in his expense account would not be a big deal,” she said rolling her eyes.

“I guess not,” Tara said matter of factly.

“So, he talked to me and told me that he wanted some work done and…” Chloe’s words trailed off. She was trying to find the right words to say what was in her mind. She did not really have the right words for ‘I had sex with Pierre Savant’

“And what?” Tara asked. “You are killing me here, White.”

“I may have slept with him,” Chloe finally said and Tara almost choked on the wine.

“May have slept with him? This is not the kind of thing where you can afford not to be sure.” Tara placed her glass on the table next to Chloe’s. “Were you drunk or something?”

Chloe shook her head and then frowned.

“Well, to be honest I did get drunk at some point and….”

“Oh come on, White,” Tara said in a soft voice. “Two things we don’t do when we’re drunk. We don’t drunk dial and we don’t sleep in a bed that isn’t our own.”

“Will you stop jumping the gun for a second?” Chloe asked. “What I meant to say was that I was drunk at the hotel bar and he took me to my room. I made a pass at him while drunk but he never did anything. He actually tucked me in bed and then left.”

“What a gentleman,” Tara said as she looked at Chloe.

“I know, right? And he even sent up an array of hangover juices the next morning. I mean, freshly squeezed orange and pineapple juices, four different kinds of water and…I don’t know, maybe it was the whole knight in shining armor thing but that’s when it happened,” Chloe finally said.

“I wouldn’t blame you. A man who looks half as good as Pierre would have me out of my panties if he did that for me,” Tara said.

“Well, actually…that’s not all that happened.”

Tara shrugged and shook her head.

“What do you mean by that?” she asked.

“I mean, I didn’t sleep with Pierre just the once.”

“Chloe White, you are just full of surprises today. Aren’t you?” Tara said grinning widely.

“Okay, whatever I am about to tell you is kind of weird to some people so…” Tara waved her hand dismissively.

“Please, if I was to judge you I would have done so a long time ago.” She took a sip of her wine and shrugged. “You are forgetting just how long I have known you for.”

Chloe smiled.

“I guess you have.”

“Yeah, so nothing you would say would take me by surprise,” Tara pointed out.

“So, even if I told you that I ran into a guy I knew from high school who was a geek back then and has now grown into this perfect guy?” Chloe asked and Tara shook her head.

“What’s so wrong with that?” she asked.

“Well, he kissed me in the elevator and then he came to my room and…” Chloe shook her head. There was no polite way of saying what she had on mind. “Long story short, I slept with him too. And Pierre.”

“Wait. On the same day?” Tara asked and Chloe nodded.

“In the same bed and at the same time,” she said.

She watched as Tara’s eyes grew wide.

“You had a threesome?” Tara asked in a low voice even though there was no need for whispering.

“Yeah, and it was amazing!” Chloe was excited.

“So, who was this guy from high school?” Tara asked.

Chloe took a deep breath.

“Matt Zimmerman.”

“Why does that name sound so familiar?” Tara asked.

“Ever heard of Zimmerman Security?” Chloe asked and Tara raised an eyebrow.

“I think I have…” she started as she reached for her phone. She typed something on the screen and then sighed. “Tell me that this is not the guy because if it is I am officially jealous of you,” Tara said as she showed her Matt’s photo.

“Fine. Then I won’t tell you that I had a threesome with Pierre Savant and Matt Zimmerman,” Chloe said nodding.

“You know I always thought that being you was terribly hard. You know with your hard long hours and everything. And I never ever wished I was in your shoes, until today.” Tara sipped on her wine. “Right now I wish I was freaking Chloe White.”

“And what’s worse is that I am thinking of setting up another date,” Chloe went on.

“With Matt?” Tara asked and Chloe shrugged.

“I already have a dinner date with Matt. But I want to see them both again.”

“You mean, together?” Tara asked and Chloe nodded. “I can hardly handle one man, Chloe. How are you able to handle two men at the same time? Is it that one man complements the other one or…what is it exactly?”

“No, it’s not that. God knows that the two men are equally gifted but somehow I feel so complete…having both of them. And it works too because those two are actually business rivals so you know that they will work extra hard trying to outdo each other which only works in my favor.”

“So, there are no strings attached?” Tara asked and Chloe shook her head.

“Well, I did have a wild crush on Pierre for the longest time. But that was just it. A crush.” She took another sip of her wine. “It’s amazing, trust me. Maybe you should try it sometime.”

“Spencer and I are quite happy with our arrangement, thank you very much,” Tara said in a soft voice.

“Really? How exactly does that work out?”

Tara shrugged.

“What are you talking about? Spence and I are perfectly okay.”

“You got married and then divorced and then married again…and eventually separated…and now you are together?” Chloe shook her head. “I don’t really understand the two of you.”

“His mother is kind of the reason for the entire hullaballoo but now that she is in the care facility things are better for us,” Tara said and Chloe frowned. “I know what I said makes me sound like a terrible person and everything but to be honest, it is just…the woman knows the right buttons to press and when she actually presses she…” Tara exhaled loudly. “I’m just glad that I don’t have to deal with her anymore. Everything is simpler this way. I don’t have to pretend to like her jokes or even bite my tongue around her.”

“You really hate your mother-in-law, don’t you?” Chloe asked, smiling.

“Hate is a strong word but to borrow from one of my favorite songs, I really, really don’t like her,” Tara said matter-of-factly.

“Hey, you don’t have to tell me twice.”

“So, this Matt guy. What is he like?” Tara asked and Chloe shook her head.

“He is interesting. Very outspoken and…everything he wasn’t back in high school.”

“And if you don’t mind my asking, how does he compare to Pierre?”

Chloe took a long deep breath.

“They are both good looking, they are both men of character and they both want to sleep with me.” She shrugged. “So, I guess the situation is generally balanced.”

Tara smiled and shook her head.

“I think something came loose in your head at some point,” she said, smiling.

Pierre

“Papa, when are we going to see mama?” Ariadne asked as she walked into the study where Pierre was. He looked up from the iPad in his hand and smiled.

“I’m sorry, mon amour. But your mama has a few things to take care of. But it shouldn’t be too long before you can see her.”

Ariadne nodded.

“Come here,” Pierre said patting his lap. “And where is your sister?”

“Outside playing with the puppy.”

“Have you named him yet?” Pierre asked and his daughter nodded enthusiastically.

“Justin Bieber,” she said without a second thought.

“Excuse me?” he asked, surprised. “Isn’t that the name of some singer?”

“Only the best singer papa.”

Pierre smiled and gently pushed a lock of her hair from her face.

“And whose idea was that? Yours or Adele’s?” he asked.

“We both wanted that name.”

Of course you did,” he thought as he looked into Ariadne’s eyes. “Hey, sweetheart tell me something. Would you like to stay here?”

“Is mama going to come here?” she asked. “Maybe she will not sleep a lot when she’s here.”

Pierre sighed and shook his head.

“No, it will just be you and me and Adele.”

“And Justin Bieber?” Ariadne asked and Pierre laughed.

“And Justin Bieber,” he echoed.

“It would be fun!” There was a dimple in Ariadne’s left cheek when she smiled.

“Yeah it would be.”

“Mr. Savant, I…” Pierre heard Callie’s voice and he looked up. “I’m sorry. I didn’t know that you were busy.”

“It’s okay.” Pierre looked at Ariadne. “Why don’t you go and play with your sister for a while and then when I come we can call for pizza.”

“Can we have Hawaiian? Me and Adele like that one.”

“Honey, it’s Adele and I…” his voice trailed off when he saw the confusion on his daughter’s face. “Never mind.”

“Can we have the Hawaiian pizza?” she asked. He took a long deep breath.

“Sure baby. Why not?” Pierre asked and Ariadne ran out happily. “Callie, call Pizza Hut and ask for two pizzas. A Hawaiian for them and a meat deluxe for me. There is no way I am having breakfast meat and pineapple on pizza dough. That’s just terrible,” he said as he picked up his iPad.

“Of course,” Callie said.

“Did you want something?” he asked when he noticed that she was still standing there.

“Actually, I wanted to talk to you.”

He put his iPad down and turned to look at Callie.

“Yes? What’s going on?” he asked.

“Well, I just wanted to know if things are fine…you know…with us.”

Pierre raised an eyebrow.

“Did I miss something?” he asked.

“No…I just…I thought that we were going to be able to have some alone time in Switzerland but nothing ever happened while we were there. You didn’t even come to my room once.”

“Callie…” Pierre started as he ran his fingers through his hair. He knew where this conversation was going. “I was busy. The convention was all about networking and that was exactly what I was doing out there. Networking.”

“Yes but that was why I was there. To help you but I barely got to see you…”

“Callie, I pay you, not the other way round. You were at the convention at my behest,” Pierre scolded her. “Why do you keep on making such a big deal of everything? It is easier when you just follow protocol.”

“Protocol? Like some kind of black ops program?” Callie asked

“Well, we have the guidelines set for a reason. You cannot just…” his voice trailed off. Every time they had this conversation he found himself wondering why he had to keep up with her drama. It was all too much. Life was easier when she was not part of his picture.

“I don’t want to seem needy or anything but I miss spending time with you, Pierre. I don’t remember when the last time we were together, just the two of us was.” She got on her knees in front of him and began undoing his belt. “I need you.”

“Callie, what the hell do you think you are doing?” Pierre asked as he pushed her away. He walked to the door and looked out into the hallway to make sure that his daughters were not within earshot of his study. He sighed in relief when he heard their excited squeals from downstairs. He closed the door and locked it before he turned around to look at Callie. “My children are in the house, Callie. Seriously!”

“But I…” she started as he walked back to where she was.

“I told you before. We only meet when I say we do,” he said in a commanding tone.

“I just want to make you happy Pierre,” she said in a low voice. She was still on her knees.

“Get up,” he ordered her as he made his way to his desk. He was undoing his belt as he made his way to the desk. “Come over here.”

He was looking right into her eyes as she slowly walked over to where he was. He pushed off his boxers and gestured for her to get on her knees. He held his cock in his hands and as if she was reading his mind, she took his still limp cock in her mouth. He closed his eyes and thought back to Chloe’s room in Switzerland. The way she had taken him into her mouth, the way she had ridden him. He could not help but thrust into her mouth. He was so lost in his own thoughts that he could not hear her gagging noises. He looked down at her when she pulled her head away.

“Get up here,” he said in a hushed whisper as he pulled her up. She looked that him and reached for his neck but he was not about to do that. Kissing was the last thing on his mind at that moment unless of course it was Chloe. And Callie was most definitely not Chloe. He held her against him for a long second before he quickly turned her around and bent her over the mahogany.

“Remember, you have to be very quiet,” he said as he pushed her dress up and pulled down her panties. “I wouldn’t want to confuse my kids.”

“Yes sir,” she said as he opened the top drawer of his desk that he always kept locked and got a condom. He rolled it on before he reached for the tube of lube in there.

“I want all your holes today, Callie,” he said as he squeezed the cold lube into his hand.

“Yes sir,” she moaned as he applied the lube on her pussy and then on her tight ass hole.

She suddenly let out a loud gasp when he shoved his cock into her pussy, filling her up in just one swift move. He held her waist as he pulled out and pushed in hard and deep. He pulled back and then pushed forward again as hard and as deep as he could. She was shivering in his arms and he loved the way she was reacting to his thrust. She held on to the edge of the desk as he moved himself in and out of her, each thrust harder than the last. She whimpered when he pulled his cock out of her.

“Are you sure you want this?” he asked as he toyed with her opening.

She looked at him over her shoulder and nodded.

“More than anything,” she said in a soft voice.

She had come a long way since meeting him. When he first told her he wanted to enter her ass she had been scared. He could actually see the fear in her eyes. But she had taken him into her ass so willingly that he wondered how psychologically prepared she really was. It had taken some work but she had managed to take him all in. He didn’t know what it was but she felt tighter on that day. He might have been fucking her but in his head he was thrusting into Chloe. It was all he had been thinking about for the last few days. He suddenly pushed forward and she stifled a moan as he came into her.

“Fuck!” he said through gritted teeth before he pulled away from her.

He sat down and Callie turned around, her hand on her clit.

“Go on. I want to watch you finish,” he said as he leaned back.

Callie began rubbing herself as he looked at her but all he could think about was what he was going to do the minute his assistant left his office. He was still looking at her when his phone rang. He would have ignored it but he knew that it was Chloe. He had assigned her a custom ring tone. He reached for his phone on the desk.

“Hey,” he said, still looking at Callie. “I was thinking of calling you today.”

“Well, it’s a good thing I beat you to it then,” she said. “I was thinking that maybe we should have dinner.”

“Dinner sounds great. When?” he asked.

“Tomorrow night. I’ll text you when I decide where.”

“I’m looking forward to it,” he said in a soft voice before he hung up.
