Trish, Just Trish by Lynda LeeAnne (21)

CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE

Tony didn’t get home until almost seven o’clock, and when he walked in the front door, I had no idea how to greet him. The nerves that didn’t consume me this morning were holding me back now. He’d changed his attitude toward me overnight and I was uncertain of how he felt about me now.

I stood in the foyer and watched him watch me.

“What’s wrong?” he asked with sincere concern.

“Thank you for replacing the mattress,” was the first thing out of my mouth.

He ignored that, closed and locked the front door behind him, and headed straight for me. His hand wrapped around the back of my neck and he tilted my head back to give me a soft, yet deep closed mouth kiss. His hand untangled from my hair and his thumb touched the apple of my cheek.

“What’s wrong?”

“I was worried you’d be back to hating me again,” I answered truthfully and I hated to see him close his eyes.

“I don’t hate you, Trish; far from it,” he responded before sealing his lips over mine once more. His arms wrapped around my back and he lifted me to my toes to deepen the kiss.

When we finally broke free, I wasn’t hungry for food.

“I made dinner if you’re hungry,” I breathed.

“Who knew there was a domesticated Trish in there,” he said through a huge smile. It hit me like a sack of potatoes when I saw it. It was the first time I’d seen him smile like that since I arrived.

I threw myself at him. He took a step back, caught himself and I smashed my mouth against his.

When I finally let him go, he asked, “What was that all about?”

“I missed your smile.”

He smiled again and I knew it was just for me. “Come on.” He grabbed my hand. “Let’s go eat before it gets too cold.”

After dinner, Tony walked with me to the stable to check on Starla. Poor girl was in so much pain. I talked to her and petted her while Tony watched.

When we got back to the house, Tony asked if I wanted to watch a movie since it was still pretty early.

“Can we watch G.I. Jane?” I asked as I looked through the movie selection.

“You really want to watch G.I. Jane?” he asked with genuine interest.

“Well, just so you know, I have a major girl crush on Demi Moore. The first time I saw that movie I was fifteen and Lex dared me to try the one handed push-up thing. I fell flat on my face.”

I smiled at the memory. “Lex called the paramedics because my nose was gushing blood. It wasn’t funny at first because it hurt so damn bad, but Lex was flipping out, and crying…” I shook my head. “Good times,” I finished, still smiling.

“I’m curious about this one-handed push-up. I think you should show me,” Tony said through his own smile and I waved the idea away with my hand.

“And break my face… I don’t think so.”

Tony thought on that. “Now that I think about it, I’d hate to see anything happen to that adorable little nose of yours.” He bent and kissed the tip. “Go put it on and I’ll pull out the sofa bed,” he said, and I felt that stupid tingly feeling all throughout my body like a giddy teenager. I didn’t want to feel it, but I couldn’t stop it.

Tony walked away to get the blankets from my bed, and as soon as he came back, right in the middle of the previews, he undressed me. I undressed him and we got in bed.

I was still a little sore, but not enough to stop this from happening. Tony had propped the pillows up behind our backs so we were half-way sitting up. His arm was wrapped around my shoulders, my head was on his chest, my arm draped over his stomach and my leg thrown over his. We watched the movie.

That was all we did for the first half.

I took a quick glance in his direction and his eyes were locked on the T.V. I couldn’t pay attention to it so I lifted my hand to his chest and traced circles with my fingers. I did this for a while until I bitched up let my hand travel down his rock hard stomach. When I made it to the top of the sheet that covered his waist, I peeked at him.

I had his undivided attention now.

“What are you doin’?” he asked roughly.

“Touching you,” I whispered and lifted to place a kiss on his chest. I decided that wasn’t enough and lifted completely. I’m took the sheet with me so I could climb between his legs. This, I could do with no worry. It’d been a while, but I still knew how this worked; I especially knew how Tony liked it.

The quick lesson I’d gaven BJ that morning in the kitchen had been the truth.

I climbed up to take his mouth as my hand found his erection and he groaned. I pulled back just enough to make him open his eyes and I kissed him again while we gazed at each other. My hand remained stroking the silky head beneath the sheet.

I knew the instant it started feeling good to him. I felt liquid coat my palm and I let my hand linger on the tip, demanding more.

“Trish… fuck…” Tony groaned against my mouth and I pulled back. He was ready and I didn’t even bother working my way down his stomach. I sat back, bent over and took him fully with my mouth. His hips lifted and I took him deeper. I lifted and sucked on the head as my hand worked the length.

I did this over and over. My pace randomly picked up and slowed down. I cupped him as I took him deep once more. His hand tangled in my hair just before he groaned, “I don’t want to come like this, but I don’t want you to stop.”

I wasn’t stopping unless he forced me to.

I kept going until his entire body stiffened. He worked his hips twice more before he came; groaning quietly and breathing wildly until he was sated… or so I thought.

I lifted to kiss my way up his stomach, but his reached down, locked his hand under my arms and rolled me over.

“I didn’t want to come like that,” he growled before kissing me and his hand hit my sweet spot. “This is what I wanted,” he said as his fingers worked my clit. His mouth moved to my breast and he played until I begged for more.

“I need more,” I whispered. He moved down my body to replace his fingers with his mouth. I worked my hips until couldn’t take anymore.

“I’m coming,” I moaned in a raspy voice as I arched my back and fisted his hair to hold him closer. I cried out his name shamelessly. I didn’t even recognize the noises coming out of my mouth. When I was completely spent and unable to take anymore, Tony lifted and took my mouth with his.

“I love the way you taste,” he whispered and there was no mistaking that he was ready again. I felt his hand move between us and he entered me.

“You make me lose my mind,” he said.

I didn’t want to stop him, I wanted this so much, but it wasn’t right.

“Tony, please go get a condom.”

He froze and looked down at me.

“I want this with you,” he said. I could have cried at the determination behind his words, but I knew he didn’t want this for the right reasons.

“Tony,” I said in a tone that commanded his attention. I gazed into his eyes and ran my palm across his now clean-shaven face. “You know I’m in love with you. I would love this with you and you know that too, but getting me pregnant won’t make you trust me. Having a baby will only make things worse if we’re not already fixed as a couple.”

I hated seeing him squeeze his eyes shut because he knew I was right. I continued, “I want you to trust me again and I’ll do anything to prove that to you, but I know it’s going to take time.”

He sighed loud and drawn out and he worked his hips a few more times before he sighed again in disappointment as he pulled out.

“I trust you, mi reina, but you’re right. We need more time. I’ll get a condom, but...” his voice trailed off as he stood. “…fuck I forgot how good it felt to go bareback,” he finished, and on that note, he walked away.

I rolled my eyes.

He didn’t trust me. He might want to trust me, he might even think he did, but he didn’t. It was too soon.

Tony came back in an instant with a condom and by the time we finished, I could easily attest to the fact that the feel of a condoms sucked, but they were necessary.

I blinked my eyes rapidly and as soon as they adjusted to the darkness, I took in my surroundings. Other than the dim light shining through the front windows it was pitch black. My hand flew to my throat. I was parched. I looked at the clock.

Four in the morning.

And no nightmare.

Thank god.

But I was thirsty. Tony was plastered to my back and I softly touched his arm around my waist. When I tried to lift it, it refused to budge and squeezed tighter.

“What’re you doin’,” Tony grumbled half asleep and I smiled at how sexy he sounded, his southern accent really coming through. I twisted my neck and kissed him.

“I need some water; my throat’s so scratchy it woke me up. Just go back to sleep, babe,” I whispered and kissed him again.

He didn’t open his eyes when he mumbled, “Probably from all that screamin’ you did.”

“Screaming?” I asked.

“Screamin’ my name while I made you come.”

“Oh my god! I can’t believe you just said that.”

“Yes you can.” He still hadn’t opened his eyes.

“You’re so conceited... yes, my throat’s scratchy from all the screaming I did. Now that your ego has been stroked, may I go get some water please?”

“Well… since you admitted to it so easily, then yes, you may go get water, but will you bring me some too. You know, my throats scratchy from all the screaming you made me do,” he said.

I giggled.

This was the Tony I loved. I kissed him again, but this time he pressed deeper and squeezed me tighter.

Then, he let me go.
