Ace (High Rollers MC Book 1) by Kasey Krane, Savannah Rylan (21)

CHAPTER TWENTY | ACE

When Bingo and I pulled back up to the house, Daisy was waiting in the driveway to greet us.

“Hey baby,” Bingo said, pulling her in for a kiss. She resisted, narrowing her eyes playfully.

“I thought you were under strict doctor’s orders not to ride again until you got that sling off,” she said sternly, planting her hands on her hips.

“It wasn’t a ride,” he said sheepishly. “Just a little spin around the block.”

She rolled her eyes, but she gave in and let him kiss her.

I diverted my eyes as I peeled off my helmet and hung it over my handlebars.

“Hey, Ace,” Daisy said, turning towards me. “There’s someone here that wants to see you.”

“Someone here?” I asked, confused.

“Stay here,” she said. “I’ll be right back.”

Daisy disappeared into the house, and I turned to Bingo.

“What’s that all about?” I asked. He shrugged and shook his head, just as clueless as I was.

As I climbed off of my bike, I worked through the list of people who would pay me a visit at Bingo’s home. It had to be someone from the High Rollers.

Who else would know to find me here?

I was still working through that list of names when I heard the door squeaked open. When I glanced up, my mouth fell open with shock.

“Sienna,” I said. “What are you doing here?”

Bingo’s face lit up, and he gave me that goony smile.

“Sienna” he asked eagerly. “As in super secret undercover agent Sienna?!”

I rolled my eyes.

“Sienna, this is Bingo,” I said, making a hasty introduction. “Bingo, meet Sienna.”

“Nice to finally meet you,” Bingo said, flashing Sienna the gap in his teeth. “I’ve heard so much about you.”

“You have?” Sienna’s eyes floated back to me.

“Strictly business stuff,” I said quickly. “I was just telling Bingo about our plan—”

Right,” Bingo shot me a dramatic wink. “Well I’ll give you lovebirds some privacy.”

He sauntered back into the house, and once the door slammed shut behind him I turned back to Sienna.

“Sorry about him,” I said. “He’s on a lot of pain pills at the moment.”

“He seems nice,” Sienna insisted diplomatically. “So Bingo is Daisy’s boyfriend?”

“That’s right. But they’ve been together for so long, that he might as well be her husband at this point.”

“They must be doing something right,” Sienna said thoughtfully. Then, “I guess opposites attract.”

I remembered Bingo’s lecture earlier, and I sniffed and stared at the ground.

“I guess,” I shrugged. “So… how’d you find me here?”

“I was looking for you at the shop,” she explained. “Obviously you weren’t there, but I ran into Daisy. She offered to give me a ride back here.”

“And you accepted?” I scoffed. “That was brave of you.”

“I’m still recovering,” she joked, cracking a small smile. Then her smile faded. “I need to talk to you about something.”

“What’s up?”

“The Gaming Commission is re-opening their case against the High Rollers,” she said, lowering her voice to barely a whisper. “My boss told me this morning.”

“Okay,” I nodded slowly. “Well I’m sure—”

“That’s not all,” she cut me off. “They’re assigning another agent to take over the investigation. I’m off the assignment.”

“Why?”

“I don’t know,” she admitted with a shrug. “I guess my boss wasn’t satisfied with my last report. He wanted someone more thorough to poke around. That’s how Kaplan operates. He wants blood, and he’s not going to give up until he finds it.”

“We’re gonna give him blood,” I told her. “Just not the blood he’s looking for.”

“Yeah, well that might be harder than we thought,” Sienna sighed. “I dropped Mr. Money’s name into the conversation, and it turns out Chief is his number one fan. He thinks Mr. Money can do no wrong. Convincing him otherwise is gonna be a tough sell.”

“It was always gonna be a tough sell, but we’ll figure this thing out.”

“I don’t think you’re listening. I’m off the case,” she said. “That means that if the agency finds something, there’s nothing I can do—”

“Then I guess I better make sure they don’t find anything, huh?” I grinned.

Sienna frowned, folding her arms over her chest.

“This is really bad, Ace,” she said. She took a shaky inhale and I saw her face twist with worry.

“Okay, breathe, Blondie,” I said, stepping over to her side. I draped my arm over her shoulder and rubbed my palm on her back. “Just breathe.

She made her lips into a tight little ‘o’ and blew out a long, even exhale. Then she took a deep breath in, and I saw her face slowly relax.

“That’s it,” I rubbed her back gently. “We’re going to figure this thing out, okay? Don’t worry about it.”She nodded, taking another deep, long breath.“Are you okay?”

“I’m fine.”

“Good.”

Suddenly I got an idea. I glanced at my bike, then back at Sienna.

“I think I know a way that we can get your mind off of this,” I said, grinning. “Come on.”

***

Whenever I needed to escape from the world and clear my head, I would take a ride along the winding weathered roads that circled Red Rock Canyon.

Today, Sienna and I both could use an escape.

With her arms hugged around my waist, I steered my bike along the desert road. All around us, vibrant orange cliffs jutted out of the desert landscape. Clumps of sun-bleached sagebrush dotted the flat patches of earth, but the rock formations were bare naked.

The sun would set soon, and a mile-long procession of cars flooded into the national park to see the canyon at sunset. They were in for a real treat. When the setting sun hit the rocks, the whole place glowed.

The park would also be packed with asshole tourists. The kind of people who were so damn busy chasing after their kids or trying to snap selfies with their smartphones, that they couldn’t spare even a second to appreciate the beauty all around them.

I didn’t want to be anywhere near people like that. Luckily, I had a special little spot where nobody would bother us. A place where we’d have the entire canyon to ourselves.

I steered by bike away from the procession of cars driving into the park.

“Where are we going?” Sienna shouted over the sound of the engine.

“Trust me,” I shouted back.

I turned off the road and sped over the rough desert floor. The bike bucked up, but I kept a firm grip on the handlebars and Sienna kept a firm grip on me.

We weaved around patches of sagebrush and cacti until we reached the unmarked trail. It was narrow, just big enough for the bike. Nobody came out this way, not even the park rangers. This was no man’s land… and that’s exactly why I liked it so much.

The path started to climb up a steep hill.

“Hold on,” I called to Sienna, even though she already had me in a vice-like grip.

I twisted the throttle, feeding the engine more gas as the bike bucked up the sharp incline. We finally rounded the top of the hill. Sienna loosened her grip and almost breathed a sigh of relief before she realized that the path ahead was just as perilous.

We were on the side of a cliff, and the only way forward was along a narrow shelf that jutted out from the side of the rocky wall. It was no more than three feet wide, tops, and then it turned into a sheer drop straight down into the canyon.

“Don’t worry, Blondie,” I called back over my shoulder. “We’ll be on the other side before you know it.”

Then I twisted the throttle and sped forward, skirting the cliff ledge. True to my word, it took all of about five seconds to reach the opposite side of the cliff where the path widened. We drove under a rock formation that had formed an archway over the path, and then I made a sharp right turn and landed on a flat plateau that overlooked the entire valley. I cut off the engine, and suddenly everything was perfectly silent.

You could see out for miles in all directions: desert, rocks, and, in the distance, Vegas. The only thing you couldn’t see was people. We were completely alone. All of the tourist viewpoints were miles away.

“Holy shit,” Sienna gasped as she slid off the bike. She yanked off her helmet and slowly turned around in a circle, taking in the full view. “How did you find this spot?!”

“My dad used to take me out here,” I said, pulling off my own helmet. “When I was a kid, I—” I stopped myself. “Never mind.”

“What?”

“Nothing,” I said. “It’s just a stupid story.”

“Tell me,” she insisted. She had the most beautiful desert landscape right in front of her, but out of all of the places she could have pointed her eyes, she chose to stare right at me.

“You ever watch Looney Tunes?” I asked.

“The cartoons? Yeah, of course.”

“When I was a kid, my Pops and I used to watch them together every morning,” I explained. “My favorite was Wile E. Coyote. I used to think that it was real, and he lived out here in the desert.”

“Really?”

“Yeah,” I nodded, feeling a pang of embarrassment.

Why am I telling her all of this?! I’ve never told anyone this.

“My dad would go along with it,” I continued. “He’d take me out for rides around here so that we could try to find the coyote or roadrunner.”

“Did you ever find him?”

“Nah,” I shook my head, chuckling. “I never did find that damn coyote.”

“What about your dad? Do you still see him?”

I shook my head again. “He passed away ten years ago. Truth be told, I lost him way before that. We used to be best friends, but when he married my step-mother, everything… changed.”

Sienna was silent, but I could feel her eyes watching me closely. The back of my neck itched from the attention, and to break the silence, I kept rambling.

“Coming out here still reminds me of him,” I said. “Sometimes I’ll even look around for that coyote. I don’t know what I’m expecting to see. I know that I’m all alone out here. There’s no cartoon coyotes or roadrunners. My dad isn’t going to suddenly appear out of thin air. I know that. But… I still look, anyways.”

I was still straddling the bike and my eyes were locked on the gas tank. I couldn’t look up at Sienna, but I heard her take a step towards me… then I felt her hand slip under my chin and guide my head up, so that my eyes met hers.

“You think I’m crazy, huh?” I asked.

“No,” she said, whispering in a voice that was as soft as fucking Snuggle fabric softener. “I think that I was wrong about you, Ace.”

It was my turn to be silent as her eyes dug into mine.

“Maybe I’m not the only one wearing a disguise,” she said. “Maybe you put on this tough exterior—the leather, the tattoos— because you don’t want anyone to see the real you.”

“This isn’t a costume,” I said. “This is the real me. I’ve done a lot of bad things, and I’m capable of doing even worse.”

“Everyone has done things that aren’t proud of—”

“I’m a monster, Sienna.”

“You’re human,” she grabbed both of my hands and held them loosely in hers, then she repeated, “You’re human.”

I stared down at my hands, marked with tattoos and faded scars. They looked out of place, held in her own petite and pristine hands.

“I’ve killed with those hands,” I told her. “I’m a killer.”

“I trust you.”

“You shouldn’t.”

She lifted my hands and placed them around her neck. Her flesh felt soft and smooth under my palms, like the skin of a peach, and I could feel the gentle beat of her pulse straining through her veins. She placed her palms on top of mine, holding my hands in place.

“I trust you,” she repeated softly.

The sun set in the distance and the desert canyon was drenched in orange light. Against the glow of the vermillion sky, Sienna’s skin sparkled and her hair looked like pure gold.

I slid my hands up her neck and tilted her heads towards mine, and then I kissed her. It was a dangerous sort of kiss; the slow, intoxicating kind that moved at the speed of sticky sweet molasses slowly trickling out of a glass jar.

Her lips unfolded around mine, pulling me in and silently begging for more. I could feel the urgent drum of her heartbeat through her neck, pounding in perfect rhythm with the pulse that throbbed through my cock.

I was hard and hungry for her and I could tell that she was hungry, too.

Her hands abandoned mine on her neck and slipped down, finding the zipper on my jeans.

“You sure you want to do that, Blondie?” I murmured between kisses. “Haven’t I gotten you into enough trouble already?”

She pulled back and her eyes flicked up to mine. For a second, she was frozen. Wide-eyed, staring meaningfully at me. Then she blinked, and the expression on her face changed.

“I’m not going to worry about that right now,” she said. “All I ever do is worry. For once in my life, I just want to live in the moment. I just want to be right here, right now.”

“And what is it you wanna do right here, right now?” I asked.

Her hands teased my shaft as she tugged at the zipper on my jeans, and my cock swelled eagerly.

“I want to finish what we started the other day,” she said. “I want to taste you.”

Holy. Fucking. Shit.

I was hard before, but those words turned my dick into Mount motherfucking Vesuvius. My cock was full of hot lava, and I was ready to erupt.

She got the zipper down and her hand slipped through the open fly and pressed around my briefs, trying to find an escape route for my shaft. When she finally found the opening in the front of my briefs, she reached in and grabbed me.

Her grip was so tight that I nearly lost it on the spot. I sucked in a sizzling hot breath and grabbed her wrist, preventing her hand from exploring any further.

“I’ve got a better idea,” I said.

I kept my legs wrapped around the bike’s frame as I slid down on the seat, reclining until I was on my back with my head resting on the rear fender. Sienna twisted her legs together as she stood next to the bike, watching with a look of uncertainty.

“What’s the matter, Blondie? Are you waiting for step-by-step instructions?” I teased.

“Sorry,” she wrinkled her nose meekly as her cheeks turned pink. “I’m kinda new at this…”

For some reason, that made my cock throb even harder.

“Well in that case, I’ll give you a hint,” I said. Then I cupped my hand over my mouth and whispered loudly: “This is the part where you take your panties off and get the fuck over here.”

Sienna bit her bottom lip to stop herself from smiling as she slowly reached under the skirt of her green dress and slipped her panties down over her legs, carefully stepping out of them. Then she glanced back up at me and took a deep breath before stepping forward.

Facing me, she slowly raised her left leg so that she could mount the bike backwards and straddle my lap.

“Uh-uh,” I shook my head, stopping her. “Other way.”

“Huh?” she dropped her leg back to the ground and took a step away from the bike.

“Turn around,” I instructed her.

She frowned, but she slowly turned to face the front of the bike, so that her back was to me.

“Now grab the handlebars,” I said. “Like you’re going to ride the bike.”

She obeyed, wrapping one hand around each of the black grips.

“Good,” I told her. “Now take a step backwards.”

Still holding the grips, she took a tiny step back towards me.

“Bigger step,” I said. “One more.”

She took two more steps back, so that her back was bent forward and her ass was in the air. Her dress slid up, and I caught a peak of her glistening folds under the hem of her skirt.

Fuck, I wanted to be inside of her… but I had to exercise restraint.

“Okay,” I said. “Now climb on.”

She glanced over her shoulder at me and I saw that her cheeks were as red as the canyon that surrounded us.

“But if I get on like this, I’ll be—” she stopped, and her face clenched into a panicked expression.

“You’ll be… what?”

“Sitting on your face,” she finished in a tiny whisper.

“I know,” I grinned. “That’s kinda the point, Blondie.”

“B-but—”

“Don’t be shy,” I said. I reached forward and gently guided her right thigh up. She slowly lifted her leg the rest of the way over the bike until she was straddling me on her tiptoes and her slit was hovering a few inches above my mouth.

I shoved her dress up over her hips and dug my fingers into her luscious ass.

“Take a deep breath,” I told her. “Relax.

I heard a low, shaky exhale, and I felt her body soften above me.

“Now sit,” I commanded.

She slowly lowered herself onto me, and I greeted her with my tongue.

Sienna might have been shy, but her pussy sure as hell wasn’t. She was already dripping wet, and I could feel the heat rolling off of her skin in waves. I licked her clean, lapping up the juices that poured from her slit.

She moaned and her body relaxed some more. I held her by the hips, guiding her up and down as I fucked her entrance with my tongue.

“Fuck, Ace, that feels so good!” she gasped, leaning forward and holding onto the handlebars for dear life. She made another breathless moan, and then I felt something that made my entire body go stiff.

Her hand around my cock.

I guess she did the math and solved for 69, because she suddenly dropped forward and tugged my cock the rest of the way out of my jeans.

One thing was for damn sure; she wasn’t being shy anymore.

Gripping my shaft in her hand, she slapped my cock firmly against her tongue, making a wet THWACK!

“Ugh!” I grunted as hips bucked involuntarily, responding to the tremor that her tongue sent through my entire body.

She didn’t stop. Still holding me tight, she planted her tongue at the bottom of my shaft and licked me from base to tip.

I buried my lips between hers to stop myself from moaning as she circled her tongue around my head, flicking and prodding over my glans.

I raised her hips and glanced down, watching as her tongue went to work on my shaft. She licked me up and down, like I was a jumbo-sized popsicle and she was trying to lap me up before I melted.

“I thought you never did this before?” I panted.

“I haven’t,” she said. Then her eyes flicked back to me. “Why? Am I doing something wrong?”

“No way. You’re doing everything right. Too right…”

Her eyes lit up and, she stretched her lips around my head and took me into her mouth. Then she slowly lowered her head, swallowing me inch by inch.

Fuuuuuck,” I slammed by head back onto the bike’s rear fender. I wasn’t gonna last much longer. If I was going down, I had to take Sienna with me.

I gripped my hands around her ass cheeks and yanked them apart, spreading her slit wide open over my mouth. Then I drove my tongue into her.

The deeper she took me in her mouth, the harder I drove my tongue into her folds. I bit her lips and tugged until she squealed. I flicked her clit mercilessly with the tip of my tongue. I nibbled at the soft skin that surrounded her mound...

When her lips suddenly clenched tightly around my cock and her hips shook as she lost her balance, I knew that she was coming. I gripped tight onto her hips to hold her steady, then I pinched her clitoris between my lips and drove my fingers deep inside her.

She reacted by burying my cock even further into her mouth. When I hit the back of her throat, I felt the vibrations of her suppressed moans.

I couldn’t fight it anymore. I gave in, and immediately I felt my balls clench as my cock went rigid in her mouth. Then it was pure ecstasy.

She sucked even harder, milking my dick like she was a fucking dairymaid. I felt my cock erupt, shooting streams of my hot lava into the back of her throat. She started to pull back until just my head remained inside her mouth as I released my seed, filling her

Sienna swallowed, then she licked her lips and slowly pulled herself forward on the bike, so that she was straddling the front of the seat and her arms were draped over the handlebars. I eased myself up, too. Then I moved her and wrapped my arms around her waist pulling her towards me, hugging her back against my chest.

I kissed her neck, following the curve of her jaw until I found her lips. When I tried to kiss her on the mouth, she pulled back.

“I thought guys didn’t like kissing girls after a blowjob,” she whispered.

“Are you kidding me?” I scoffed. “Where’d you hear that? Back in middle school?”

“It’s… just something my roommate told me,” she shrugged sheepishly. “She said that guys get grossed out by it.”

“Well you should tell your roommate to stop hanging out with douchebags,” I said. “Seriously. Any guy that’s gonna act like that doesn’t deserve to be with a woman in the first place.”

Her lips curled up into a smile, and then she let me kiss her. Twice, just for good measure.

The sun had melted in the west, leaving the sky jet black. The only light came from Vegas in the distance, and from the speckle of white stars that twinkled overhead.

“It’s beautiful out here,” Sienna said, leaning back into my embrace.

Then her shoulders stiffened.

“Did you hear that?” she whispered.

I trained my ears, but all I heard was the fuzzy silence of the desert at night.

“No, what—”

“Shh,” she hushed me, pressing her fingers over my lips. “Listen

And then I heard it.

A coyote.

It was in the distance, maybe miles away, but I could hear the sound of its howl loud and clear. It was unmistakable.

I couldn’t believe it. After all of these years… I had finally found that damn coyote.
