Evex (Warriors Of Ition) by Maia Starr (11)

Chapter Nine

Evex Ein

When I saw the human female Imuna, I felt my entire body turn hot. I even felt my cock stir; my body wanted her. There was nothing that I could do to stop those feelings from happening, and seeing her in the flesh let me know that I still had that desire for her. It was a shock to see her in that hallway; I wasn't expecting it. I didn't know what she was doing at the council building, but I didn't care. I let my eyes get their fill of her. I was suddenly very glad that Councilor Vilox had called this meeting. At least one good thing had come from it; I got to see Imuna. Now I knew I had to see her. I knew that I would visit her that night, I had to. I couldn't leave Earth without touching her again. Just thinking about it made my mouth water.

“Thank you for coming to the council meeting, Leader Ein,” Councilor Vilox said.

I sat down in the same chamber that I always sat in.

“Yes, I had to rearrange some scheduling conflicts, but I am here. Now tell me what I can do for you, Councilor Vilox?”

“I have some very delicate questions to ask you,” he said.

“I am ready. What is this all about?”

“We want to ask you about one of our pilots. A Sion Parker; he was a pilot on a mission almost three months ago. His ship exploded upon reentry.”

“This is the first that I am hearing of it. Why do you ask me about one of your own pilots, Councilor Vilox? This does not make sense to me.”

“Yes, of course. The reason that I have called you in is because we have found information from his ship. It seems the pilot made an unscheduled stop. The vicinity of the stop was along the path that your ships tend to take. We are wondering if you saw anything? Whatever you can tell us. It's possible that our pilot stopped on an asteroid, or someone else's ship, a larger ship. We don't have the details. It is a puzzle that we are putting together. He didn't stop on your ship, did he?”

I could tell that he was fishing for information in a way that was meant to be deceiving. He wasn't just judging my answers; he was judging my body movements and posture. He was waiting to see if I grew nervous. He was waiting to see how long it took me to answer these questions. I could tell that he thought that the pilot had stopped on my ship, but he wasn't going to say that. He wasn't going to create tension.

“No. He did not. If he had, I would have been alerted to it. I am sorry about your pilot. You said that he had an accident upon reentry; was that entry at his destination, or upon return?”

“Return. It was entry to Earth.”

“Well then, it seems that there would be information from your bases, perhaps even on the moon. But I will search my logs to see if there is any information of a human ship passing any of our ships. If you give me the information on the type of ship your pilot was driving, that would be helpful in my search.”

Councilor Vilox was quiet. He looked at me, processing what I had just said, but trying to look deeper to see if I was lying. Of course, I was, but nothing gave that away.

“I will give you that information before you leave the council building.”

“Why did you need me to be here in person to ask me about one pilot? That does not make sense to me. I assume that with the travel that the humans do, you must lose a few Pilots here and there over and over. We have never been summoned before when you lose a pilot. I understand wanting to know about the unscheduled stop he may have made, but why could you not ask me this over communication?”

“It is a delicate matter, Leader Ein. One that I cannot give you a straight answer to. It is a classified case. I can't have that kind of information leak over the communication lines. I hope that you will understand and can make some use of this meeting on Earth.”

“Yes, I have already seen to it. I have me in buying some much-needed mechanical parts. I was going to do it when I came for the scheduled meeting we have on the books, but since we were coming to Earth…”

“Of course. Then I will hold you no longer. Please see to your needs, and if you will wait just a minute longer, I will get the information about the ship type our pilot was driving.”

“Take your time.”

He got up from the table and walked to the door where he whispered something. Then he came back inside.

“The information is being gathered for you on a disc that you can use with Ition technology,” he said.

“Good. Thank you.”

A few minutes later, I was walking out with a disc of information about the pilot that I had killed. It was ironic, but this was what happened in a cold war. It wasn't all-out battle; it was secrets, lies, and deception. We were enemies pretending to be friends.

But as soon as I left, I took the disc back to my ship and waited for nightfall. I wasn't going to leave without seeing her. I had to. I couldn't get her off my mind since I saw her in the hallway.

Later that night, I walked onto the familiar terrace. It was where my obsession with this human female all started. I walked to the glass doors; they were unlocked. I walked in. It was dark and quiet inside the apartment. I wondered if she was even there. I walked around the human rooms. Empty. It didn't seem as though anyone was truly living in there at all. Yes, there was furniture, but not really signs of life. It was strange; it was cold.

Finally, I found the bedroom; the figure lying on the bed was unmistakably hers. Her ample mounds sticking out from underneath the soft sheet that covered her. I moved to her, remembering what I had done before. I put my hand on her ankle and moved it up her leg, softly touching her. My cock grew hard instantly. Damn my body missed her. I continued moving my hand up; she let out a soft whimper in her sleep.

“Imuna…” I whispered.

“Evex…” She responded. But her eyes were still closed; she was asleep. This gave me great pleasure to know that she knew my voice even in a deep sleep. Perhaps she was even dreaming about me. I'd like to know that. I pressed my lips against hers. I kissed her with soft movements brushing my lips back and forth over hers. She moaned and kissed me back. But then I felt her become awake.

“What? Am I dreaming?” she said waking up and pushing back from me.

“I had to see you.”

She scrambled from the bed, in a panic. She stood up and turned on the lamp. Her green eyes were wide as she looked at me.

“Are you crazy? You cannot be here! It is dangerous, for both of us.”

“I don't mind the danger. I am an Ition. I live for danger.”

“No, you don't understand. There are things that you don't know about. I just need you to leave. Please go now,” she said.

“What things? Are you expecting someone else?” I looked toward the door feeling immense anger and jealousy. If another male walked through that door as her lover, I would have to kill him. I wouldn't be able to control my jealousy. This human was mine; no one else could have her.

“What? No, there’s no one else. I just need you to go,” she said.

“There better not be anyone else, Imuna.”

“There is not,” she said as she moved over to me. She put her hands on my chest trying to push me back out of the room. But she was weak; I didn't even take a step backward. But having her touch me was exactly what I wanted. I put my hands on top of her hands and move them up and down my chest.

“It feels very good to have you touch me again, Imuna. I have thought about nothing else since your return to Earth. I can still feel your kiss on me every night before I sleep. I want to be inside you again and again. You are all that I think about. I made a mistake returning you to Earth, but it was your wish. I wanted you to be happy, especially after the sadness that I saw on your face all the time,” I whispered looking down at her.

She looked up at me, her green eyes searching mine. I could tell that her eyes were beginning to water again. What could I do? She always seemed sad and vulnerable. What Now?

“Does that make you sad? Me telling you the truth? What can I do to make you happy? What is it? Why do you cry now? I only want to touch you,” I asked.

She cried. “I can't tell you, Evex. I just can't. Please go,” her lips trembled.

I needed to kiss her. I had to. I pulled her into my arms and pressed my lips against hers. She went limp in my arms, giving in to the kiss. My hands moved up and down her back, holding her up to me. She moaned as I kissed her. I pulled her white silk nightgown up with my hands pulling it further and further along her thighs. I kissed her deeply, her mouth opened letting my tongue in. I moved the silk up over her hips and belly until I was pulling it over her head. She moaned in ecstasy. I couldn't wait to put my cock inside of her. I leaned down to scoop her up into my arms. Then I stopped.

“What the hell?” I said as I looked at her body.

She gasped and put her hands over her belly: her blue belly. I looked at her, searching her face.

“Why didn't you tell me, Imuna? You are pregnant? That is why your belly is blue. This only happens when you are pregnant with an Ition’s child. It is my child! You weren't going to tell me?”

“I am sorry. Please don't take it from me. It is mine. Please just go,” she trembled as she grabbed her slip off the floor and put it on.

“Go? You want me to go and just leave you here with my child? I can't do that. Do you know what they will do to that child on this planet? Do you know what they will do to you? No. I can't do that.”

“That is not your choice! This is my body, and this is my child. You cannot tell me what to do.”

“And what are you going to do? You plan to just give birth to this child in secret and lock it in this apartment forever? No, no child of mine will be treated badly.” I was angry, but we also had to move. Now that I saw that she was carrying my child, everything changed. It wasn't just lust and desire driving me; it was life. The life of my child. I moved into her closet and grabbed a large bag. I set it on the bed and begin to put her clothes in it. I tossed a warm sweater and pants to her with a heavy coat.

“Put that on. We are leaving in two minutes,” I said.

She quietly put it on. Even though she was protesting, she knew that I was right. An alien hybrid child could not be raised on this planet. It was impossible.
