Welcome to the Cameo Hotel by K.I. Lynn (7)

When I arrived to work the next day, James was working on something at his desk.

“How was class?” he asked.

“Fine,” I said with a sigh. “Only a few weeks left.”

“You’re going to leave us, aren’t you?” James asked.

My mouth popped open, but then closed. It was an odd question, because we’d talked about it before. “You know I am.”

“I’m going to hate seeing you go.”

“I’ll visit.”

He rolled his eyes. “No, you won’t.”

“No, I won’t.”

“Good thing I’ve got your number,” he said with a smile and a wink.

Whatever I had with Mr. Grayson was so new and strange and overwhelming that I’d forgotten about the feelings I’d once had for James. They’d disappeared, completely overtaken. I didn’t know how to break it to him.

We both walked out to the counter to give Caleb a break and catch up on business when Mr. Grayson walked in through the door leading to the parking garage. He glanced over, and for a brief moment our eyes locked before he returned to looking forward. Even that small look held so much promise and sent the butterflies in my stomach into overdrive.

“That’s weird.”

I turned to James. “What is?”

“He’s early.”

“You know what time he arrives?”

He nodded. “Oh, yes. With a guest like him, I’ve got his schedule down. I know you’ll be here to take the brunt of him.”

“Gee, thanks.”

He turned to lean on the counter to face me. “You have a relationship with him.”

That kicked my heart into overdrive. “Excuse me?”

“You’ve built up a rapport with him,” he clarified. Internally I sighed in relief. “He only wants to talk to you.”

“Do you ever think he continues to be an ass because he started and doesn’t know how to stop?” I asked.

James laughed. “I’m not sure. All I know is that he likes picking on you. Maybe he likes you.”

I rolled my eyes and tried not to blush as I played it off. “He’s a grown man.”

“I’m a grown man.”

I quirked a brow at him. “And?”

“And I like you.” Our eyes were locked and I could see how much he meant it, how deep his feelings were.

I looked away, out into the lobby. “And you’re my boss, remember?”

He shrugged and moved closer. “One small detail. For now.”

A few months ago, I’d welcomed his advances, a chance to try again, but the only man I could even think about now was the enigmatic Mr. Grayson. James was a great guy, but Mr. Grayson made me feel so much more.

We returned to the daily update before James headed out for the night, leaving me with Caleb and Jaqueline to handle the check-in rush.

It didn’t take long before the aforementioned Mr. Grayson was calling me up to his room.

He was taking off his watch, his jacket long gone but his vest still on. Rarely did I see a three-piece suit, but he wore one every day, and I happily enjoyed looking at him. His suits were my favorite. Sexy, powerful—just like him.

Watching him was my version of a strip tease. I began to wonder what he would look like in jeans, since he was sin in a suit. His chest was beautiful, and I could just imagine a pair of jeans hanging low on his hips.

I was lost in my appraisal, glued to his body and the way it moved.

“Emma, are you listening to me?” he asked, one of his brows quirked. He was fighting a smirk, and I knew I had been caught staring at him. Either way, it was bad.

Flustered, I spoke without thinking. It was the answer for most everything, after all. “Yes, Mr. Grayson, you were complaining yet again about the staff and how we are all incompetent morons.”

He stared at me, wide eyed for a moment before his head tilted back and he let out a loud laugh, making me jump in shock.

He was laughing so hard he had to lean over, his hands braced against the edge of the dresser. His shoulders shook.

“That’s new,” I said as I watched the very unusual behavior.

“Well, that was quite far from the conversation that you missed out on. Though true on all levels with the exception of the inclusion of yourself,” he said.

He stalked toward me, a grin still lighting up his face, and I was mesmerized by it. He leaned down to my ear, and his hand settled on my hip, breath tickling the hairs on my neck. My need for him combusted the second he touched me.

“What I was saying was how delicious you would look splayed out naked on the bed. Your thighs open, exposing your sweet pussy, and how I would love to taste you on my tongue.” Heat flooded my face, and I swallowed hard. “You would like that, wouldn’t you, Emma?”

My hip unconsciously pushed up into his hand, and I felt myself getting wet. Yes, I would like that very much. Weak knees, trembling body, I desperately wanted that.

He pulled away, smirking at me as he backed up, returning to unbuttoning his dress shirt.

He turned from me before speaking again. “Actually, I was asking what your drink of choice was at Starbucks.”

My legs lost all strength, weakening and almost collapsing out from under me, forcing me to lean back into the wall before sliding down. The room became unfocused as my heart beat at a rapid pace and my blood heated to the point of boiling. In three sentences he had managed to reduce me to a puddle on his hotel room floor. Then again, he’d been chipping away at me for two weeks.

I heard his heavy steps as he dashed over to me.

“Are you all right?”

I tilted my head up, and even I knew my lids were heavy and full of lust. My tongue peeked out to wet my lips as a small moan slipped out.

I watched the way his eyes darkened as he gazed down at me, lighting me up even more. He reached up and tugged at his hair.

“Fuck,” he growled, his hands braced on the wall before me, his torso and hips rocking as he reined something in.

“Please,” I whispered, my hand slapping over my mouth almost immediately.

“You don’t know how much I want you,” he ground out, his hands clenched into fists against the wall.

After staring up at him for a moment, I decided to take the initiative, to be bold. Otherwise, how else were we going to get over the constant game that left us both a mess of need?

I leaned forward and nuzzled the bulge, the evidence of his arousal, through his suit pants. “No, but your friend here wants to tell me.” He let out a groan as I ran my nose and lips from the base to the tip of the large, hard cock that lay beneath the fabric.

I held his gaze as I closed my mouth around the head, causing him to draw in a sharp breath.

My hands moved to rest on his thighs before walking up to his belt buckle.

“Emma . . .”

“Yes, sir?” I replied in a husky tone, my fingers pulling the leather through the hook on his belt.

I watched his chest heave, and in his expression I could see the carnal desire of what he wanted.

“Suck it,” he commanded.

“As you wish, Mr. Grayson,” I replied, licking my lips.

I worked his pants open and hooked my fingers under the waistband of his boxer briefs, pulling them over the bulge beneath. It had been too long since I’d had sex and I was dripping in anticipation for the beast that stood before me.

As soon as the head was visible, my lips and tongue were on him. It’d been years since I’d given head, and I was a bit apprehensive, but the obscenities coming from him as I sucked his length into my mouth encouraged me. I hummed around him, earning an involuntary thrust of his hips.

I swirled my tongue around each inch I worked into my mouth, tasting every bit of him I could.

“Fuck . . . that’s it, baby . . . you’re so fucking good,” he mumbled.

His hips began to flex, thrusting his cock further into my mouth until I was gagging each time. He was braced against the wall while my hands were braced against his thighs as he fucked my mouth. It was only a few strokes of him pushing in as far as he could before he tugged at my arm.

“Up.”

The second I was on my feet, he was pulling my suit jacket from my shoulders, then hastily working open the buttons of my blouse. Dipping down, his mouth latched onto my lace-covered nipple before he grabbed it with his teeth. A cry left me, my nipples hardening and sending sparks directly to my clit.

The sensation caused an involuntary arch of my back and my fingers to pull at his hair.

He must have liked that, because he immediately detached. His mouth was electric as he licked, sucked, and nipped his way up my neck and pushed me back. As soon as my back pressed into the wall, his lips found mine. Soft, hard, needy, delicious, pussy exploding.

I lost all train of thought when his lips met mine. All that was left was need. I needed him closer. I needed him deeper.

I needed him inside me. Fuck, did I need him inside me.

“Jesus fucking Christ, are you wearing thigh-highs and a garter belt?” he asked, panting into my neck. I hadn’t even realized he’d been pulling my skirt up. His hands stopped on the back of my thighs at the flesh just above the silk stockings.

“Yes,” I was barely able to reply before he was kissing me again.

He reached down to grab behind my knee and pulled my leg up to his hip. I wrapped my arms around his neck before he dipped down to repeat the move on the other side.

A moan left me as my legs wrapped around his waist and I felt the heat of his cock at my clit. A little piece of cotton and lace was all that separated us.

“I need you,” he whispered against my lips.

“Then take me,” I replied, taking his bottom lip between my teeth.

“I hope these aren’t your favorites.” There was a pull between my legs, then the sound of fabric ripping as he destroyed my panties.

My nails dug into his shoulders and my head titled back into the wall, mouth slack, eyes wide, as he lined up and pushed forward. My breath hitched before a mewling sound left me. Every nerve tingled at the sensation of being so completely filled.

I couldn’t think of anything except the feeling of his toned body pushing me into the wall, his hips crashing into mine.

The sexual tension that had been building between us these past weeks fueled us. His hands dug into my ass, pulling me down harder onto his cock, pushing him deeper.

“Mr. Grayson!” I cried out.

He chuckled into my ear. “Gavin.”

His lips found mine again and my tongue found his as his hips sped up their motion. Faster. Deeper. Driving me to the point of insanity.

Everything tightened and then suddenly snapped.

I screamed out his name as I clenched around him, his thrusts never letting up, unrelenting and manic in their drive.

“Shit, baby, uhg . . . coming.”

Reality dawned after a brief second. “Wait! I’m not on the pill!” I cried out in panic.

“Shit!” he cursed.

He frantically reached down between us and pulled his cock out. His moans echoed around the room as his hips bucked, his cum spraying all over the wall just beneath my ass, a few droplets hitting my skin.

“Fuck,” he growled.

I nearly came again at the expression on his face, twisted in what looked like pain, but there was nothing but pure pleasure in his eyes.

He leaned forward, his forehead resting on mine for a moment before he pushed off of the wall and dropped to the floor. I flopped forward onto his chest when his back hit the ground. We were both breathing heavily and I was afraid there would be an awkward silence, but Gavin had me giggling with his first sentence.

“This hotel is growing on me,” he said between pants, his fingers lightly threading through my hair.

I shook my head, smiling. “Such an ass.”

He chuckled. “Yes, but I’m growing on you.”

“If you’re lucky,” I scoffed.

“I believe you make your own luck, and therefore I am a very lucky man.”

“I’m lucky you were able to pull out,” I said. The last thing I needed was some accidental pregnancy.

“It was difficult, believe me,” he said with a groan. “Not coming inside you is a tragedy. I’ll pick up some condoms for next time.”

“Next time?” I asked.

“A big box of condoms.”

I shook my head, then glanced over to the clock. Panic shot through me as I realized I’d been away from the lobby for almost an hour. I pulled myself from the warmth of his arms, grabbed my blouse, and ran into the bathroom to straighten myself out.

“Shit, shit, shit,” I chanted over and over as I frantically put myself back together. I heard Gavin get up in the other room and jumped when he appeared in the doorway.

“I shouldn’t have done that,” I said absently.

“Emma?”

“I can’t afford to lose my job over sex. Even if it was great sex.” I looked into the mirror and pulled at my hair to get it back up into a ponytail.

“Great?” His lips twitched into a smirk.

I rolled my eyes at him. “You know you were great.”

“So were you.” He reached up to caress my cheek.

“What was wrong today?” I asked.

A confused expression washed over his face before it dawned on him what I was asking. “I’m out of coffee.”

“Coffee? Seriously?” I quirked a brow at him as I buttoned my shirt.

He shrugged his shoulders and handed me my jacket. “The maids are doing too good of a job now. I’m grasping at straws to get you up here. Coffee is all I had to go with.”

“That’s because you threatened to have them all fired,” I said with a sigh. “Your eccentricity knows no bounds.”

He leaned down and pressed his lips to mine one last time. “Good night, Emma.”

It was enough to level out my panic a little. “Good night, Gavin.”

With an alibi for my absence—coffee of all things—I headed back down to the lobby. Shannon stared at me as I walked across the marble flooring, searching for battle scars. I looked for patrons and found the lobby to be empty before I went into my cover rant about the asshole and his damned coffee.
