Blue Alien Prince's Captive Bride: A Sci-Fi Alien Romance (Royally Blue - Celestial Mates Book 4) by Zara Zenia (28)

Chapter 28

Kadic

I woke up the next morning to my dearest fantasies actually being true in reality. Marissa slept soundly next to me in my bed, and she didn’t even protest this time.

I watched in captivation as her chest rose and fell with each silent breath she took. She was so peaceful, I hated to wake her.

I tried to ease out of bed without rousing her, but my efforts were in vain. As soon as my feet hit the floor, I could hear her stirring beside me on the bed.

I looked over at her as she arched her back into a glorious stretch. Her round breasts were full and luscious; her nipples were perky and pointing to the ceiling.

Her skin was soft like cream, and her hair delicately spilled over the pillow.

I couldn’t resist the urge to lean back over the bed and kiss her with as much passion in my tongue as I felt in my heart. “Good morning, beautiful,” I said as we separated briefly.

“Good morning,” she said and let out a soft sigh.

“How was your sleep?” I patted her thigh by her knee. Her skin was warm and inviting.

“It was incredible,” she said as she moved into a stretching position again. “This bed is seriously so comfortable.”

“I’m glad you were happy here with me,” I beamed at her as my heart skipped a beat.

I was falling madly, deeply for her.

Should I tell her? I was still torn, as my brain wreaked havoc on itself. Like a ping pong ball being hit and bounced between two people on a table, I went back and forth about whether I should tell her my feelings or wait it out and see what happened.

“What time is it?” Marissa moved to put on a pink silk robe from the edge of the bed by the nightstand.

“Well, you are in luck,” I said and helped her stand up as she rubbed her sleepy eyes. Her hair was tousled and adorable from sleep.

“Why’s that?” she asked curiously.

“It’s still early enough for us to catch the sunrise.” I smiled, knowing that she’d adore that concept.

“Wow, really?” She took my hand. “I would love to see the sunrise.”

“It’s just as magical as the sunset you saw last night,” I admitted as we walked down the stairs together.

I breathed in the scent of her perfume that was still faint on her skin from yesterday. Fuck, she is amazing and beautiful.

As if reading my mind, she grinned up at me and searched my eyes with her big blue ones.

“What?” she asked as her lips spread into a teasing grin.

“Nothing. It’s just…well, you are so beautiful.”

“Well, thank you,” she said and squeezed me tightly around the waist.

We walked into the kitchen, where I made coffee for both of us.

“This coffee is so weird, but in a good way,” she observed as she stared at her cup.

“How do you mean?” I asked, confused.

“Well, for starters, this coffee is yellow. Coffee back home is brown or black. Don’t get me wrong, it tastes great, almost like cinnamon.”

“What is cinnamon?” I asked with a grin. I was eager to learn as much about her heritage and her culture as possible. If she was willing to stay here with me on a foreign planet and adapt to life on Alpazon, I owed her that respect.

“It’s a spice, it’s kind of hard to explain.” She giggled.

I nodded. “Want to go outside and sit by the pool to watch the sun come up?” I suggested.

“More than anything in the world,” she said as I held open the door for her.

“Wow, it feels great out here,” she said as we walked toward the pool lounge chairs.

I noticed the soft breeze as well as it tickled my skin. The insects were still making their chirping noises in the trees and all the world was serene and quiet.

“Do you want to sit on my lap?” I offered.

“Sure,” Marissa said and slid onto my lap.

“I’ll try to keep my cock from vibrating,” I joked and Marissa laughed lightheartedly.

“You know, back home, girls would do anything to have a guy with a vibrating cock,” she admitted and looked up to the sky.

“Oh yeah?”

“Yep. Back home, women have these things called vibrators. They are these plastic toys you can use to fuck yourself or play with during sex with a partner.”

“How fascinating,” I said.

“Well, there’s nothing like the real thing.” She gave me a wink and patted my cock through the shorts I wore to make her feel more comfortable.

I hugged Marissa tightly to me as we watched the sun rise above my property line.

“I still think it’s unbelievably awesome that you guys have a lavender sky here during the day,” Marissa said as she pointed in the direction of the horizon.

At the current moment, the sky was turning pinks and purples as the sunlight softly lit the world.

“What is the color of the sky on Earth?” I asked as I breathed in the coconut smell of her hair.

“It’s blue,” she said dreamily. “It’s beautiful, too. We have white fluffy clouds there, too.”

“What’s a cloud?” I asked.

“It’s this area in the sky that is soft and pillowy, almost like the fog you get here. But sometimes it produces rain.”

“What’s rain?” I asked, and she laughed at my questions.

“It’s this wet stuff that falls from the sky and helps the plants to grow.”

“Oh. We have something like that here, too,” I admitted.

We sat in perfectly comfortable silence for a few moments as we woke up with the sun. The words I love you were ready to erupt on my tongue, but I held back.

Something made me afraid to say it. I didn’t know if she felt like things were moving too fast, or even if she felt the same way. One thing was certain; my loving feelings for her were growing by the minute.

I decided that as we lay there together soaking up the morning dew, it wasn’t worth the risk. I would wait it out and see if she said it to me first.

I would be so delighted and relieved if she admitted she loved me, too. Only time would tell what her true feelings turned out to be, but until then, I would revel in the magic and comfort of her company beside me. I could push my worries aside for another day.
