EMMA

I'm lying in bed willing myself to move, but I don’t want to face Jimmy. I saw him last night, hearing him say my name as he came. That was the sexiest thing I have ever witnessed. I went to get a glass of water before heading to my own room but was stopped in my tracks by the sight of Jimmy stroking his cock, moaning my name in pleasure. I should have turned on my heels, but I stayed rooted to my spot, watching and waiting to hear what else he would say.

Shaking the thoughts from my mind, I try to think of my next step. I need to get back to school, get back to my life. I will not let Javier take anything more from me. Besides, being stuck with Jimmy every day is bound to make me do something stupid.

Jimmy makes me nervous but in a good way. I feel like I can let my walls down, that he won’t judge me for the stupid shit I’ve done. I’m comfortable with him, which makes him one of the two men that I can say that about, the other being my brother. I want him to wrap me in his arms, kiss me like I matter, fall hopelessly in love with me.

My bladder gives me no choice but to get up and face the day. Once I’m showered and dressed, I decided to make breakfast. I’m scrambling eggs on the stove as Jimmy comes in and leans against the counter.

“Do you have to get back to school?”

“I plan on heading back to school today actually. I’ve already missed a lot, so I’m behind.”

“Do you need anything? Books and shit?”

I look at the pan, I hate that everything I own is gone, it makes me depend on everyone around me.

My cheeks are red, embarrassment covers my face.

“I need everything.” Defeat in my tone.

With just one finger, he lifts my chin to look at him.

“I have you covered, Little Bit,” he says, handing me a wad of cash. “Use what you need, get some lunch, whatever.”

“I can’t take this! You’ve done so much already!” I try to give it back, but he won’t take it.

“I’ve got an agreement with Justin, don’t worry about it.” I’m pretty sure he’s lying, but before I get a chance to call him on it, he changes the subject.

“You’re welcome to take my truck, I don’t go many places anyway.”

I can’t stop the smile. “You must be a city boy, or you wouldn’t be letting me drive your truck.”

“They key word there is ‘boy.’” He chuckles.

“I can still make it to my classes today if you don’t have any plans with the truck.”

“It’s all yours.” He looks relieved. Probably because I won’t be bothering him constantly.

With a smile, I race to my room to grab my stuff, only to be reminded that I don’t have anything except my phone. No backpack, not even a damn pencil. Closing my eyes and leaning back against the wall, I let out a sigh. How did I let my life get so screwed up? Straightening my shoulders, I march back to the living room with the only thing I have left - determination to change.

* * *

When I grab the keys from Jimmy, he doesn’t even give me the speech about driving carefully and not scratching his baby. I’m excited to head back to my life, see my friends, but I’m not looking forward to having to deal with Javier or one of his goons.

I have to park off campus and rush to my first class. Without a word, I slide into the seat next to my friends, a smile covers my face. I’m immediately bombarded with questions when they notice me. “Oh my god, what happened to you? Are you okay? Where have you been? Why didn’t you respond to my texts?”

I take a deep breath, soaking in the feeling that people care about what happens to me. Javier had me convinced that no one cared or would notice if I disappeared.

“Sorry, guys, it's been a crazy few weeks, but I’m back now. I really don’t want to talk about it, especially the bruises.”

The day continues, moving from class to class, chatting with friends, pretending that nothing has changed. I feel free for the first time in a while.

My friend, Clay, walks me back to Jimmy’s truck

“Uh, this is definitely a guys truck.”

I laugh. “Yeah, a friend of my brother is letting me borrow it.”

“Well, it doesn’t look like it would even start. Are you sure you should be driving this thing?”

I roll my eyes at him, being a girl and scrawny, makes boys feel like they have to take care of me. My brother is a SEAL, I’m not exactly defenseless.

“I’m fine, see you tomorrow,” I say as I climb into the truck

“Hey, Emma, if you don’t have plans this weekend, maybe we can go to the movies,” Clay says as he shuts the door.

We’ve been friends since the beginning of the semester, but I never wanted to be anything more than friends. I’m not exactly sure the right way to go about this without ruining everything,

“With everything going on right now, Clay, I don’t think that is the best idea. Maybe when everything settles down,” I say with a smile.

“I get it. See you in class tomorrow, Emma.” He turns and heads back toward campus.

I head back to the bar, jamming out to the radio, acting my age for the first time in weeks. Not even traffic gets my mood down, I’m high on life. Pulling in behind The Mission, I grab my school supplies and head inside to get started on homework. I toss my stuff on the kitchen table and twirl around with a giggle. I can’t remember the last time I had such a good day, and it’s all because of Jimmy.

JIMMY

I feel like a terrified parent as I pace my kitchen waiting for Emma to come back through the door from class. When I sent her off to class this morning, I wanted her to get back to her normal routine, but I never thought I would worry this much. I worried if that asshole snatched her while she was on campus, if the truck was giving her a hard time, if I gave her enough money, or just plain worried if she was alright.

I let out a deep breath as I peek out the window one more time. How the hell long does one person spend in class anyway? I mean it’s college for Christ sake! It’s not like she’s in elementary school and has a set time she has to be there. Just as I’m getting ready to check the window again, I hear my truck door slam. Not wanting to make it obvious that I’ve been waiting for her, I make a beeline for my bedroom. I shut the door just in time to hear her come in the door, giggling and humming.

I head down the hall and can’t help but chuckle as I catch her dancing around the kitchen table. “Have a good day, Little Bit?”

Before I can say anything else, she launches herself into my arms and gives me a tight hug. I wrap my arms around her waist, hugging her back. I can’t stop myself from burying my nose in her hair and breathing her in. What I wouldn’t give to have her in my arms every day.

Before I can get lost in thought, she whispers, “I can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve done for me.”

Standing on her tiptoes, she places a chaste kiss on my cheek. A huge smile breaks out across my face. “Well, if I can get more of those, you can borrow my truck whenever you want.” I chuckle before letting her go. My arms ache from the loss.

She giggles again before making her way toward the fridge and pulling out a soda. “Working tonight?”

I watch as she takes a big gulp of the soda, the lip of the can resting against her lips. I gulp as I think of my cock sliding between her lips hitting the back of her throat, my cock begins to grow in my pants.

“Yeah, it’s shouldn’t be too busy today since it is the middle of the week.” I reach down and try to adjust myself as I head toward the door.

“Great, I’ll bring you down some dinner.” She leans against the kitchen entry and gives me a wink.

“I was doing just fine before you got here, Little Bit,” I say as I open the door and head out. “Lock it behind me, I have my keys.”

“Sure thing, see you in a few hours, Jimmy,” she says before closing the door.

As I make my way down to The Mission, I think about how much things have changed since Emma has started staying with me. Besides my cock being hard all day, every day, it’s nice to have someone to come home to or who cares about whether you eat every day. I’ve always had Katie around, but it’s not the same. Now if I can just get my dick under control, this may not blow up in my face.
