Chapter 24
“I had an amazing night,” Georgie sighed as she rested her head on Callum’s shoulder, while they rode up to their apartment in the elevator.
“I’m glad,” Callum replied, feeling happy that she had a good night. He did too, despite the two little bumps in the road, everything else was perfect. “Your feet must be tired from dancing. I don’t know how you ladies do it in those heels, which can I say, look amazing on you.”
“You like my shoes?” Georgie asked, lifting her foot to show off her silver, sparkly stiletto.
“Baby,” Callum growl as he pressed his lips to her forehead. “I love it all.”
“Really,” Georgie asked, looking up at him, with a smile that made Callum’s cock twitch.
“Really,” he replied, knowing that he was going to have her the moment they walked through the door to the apartment.
As the elevator stopped, and the doors slid open, Callum scooped Georgie up in his arms, then headed straight for the door. Once inside, he didn’t slow down. Heading straight for the stairs, Georgie squealed as he slapped her on the ass.
“This is mine,” he growled, looking into her eyes. He had never wanted anything more than he wanted her, right at that moment. He wanted to possess every inch of her beautiful body. He was going to devour her, making sure that she was his completely. When he was finished with her, she would never want any other man, but him.
He needed to know that she loved him. That she would never leave him like Shane said she would.
When they reached his room, he set her down on the floor, watching her closely, deciding what he wanted to do first.
Georgie stood in the centre of the room, waiting for him to make his move. He could tell from her breathing that she was both nervous and turned on. For some reason, this pleased Callum.
“Do you want to have a little fun?” He asked as he stepped behind her, sweeping her hair to the side before he pressed his lips to the bare skin of her shoulder.
“Fun?” She replied; there was a trace of uncertainty in her voice.
“Yes,” he whispered against her ear.
Georgie glanced at him sideways, smiling at him.
Callum stepped back, walking to the iPod he had on his nightstand. Hitting play, he turned back to look at Georgie, who was now turned to face him.
Music suddenly filled the room, as Callum smiled once more. The song was ‘Let’s Stay together’, by Al Green; one of Callum’s favourites. He walked back towards Georgie, as the smile on his face widened.
“Dance with me,” he whispered, holding out his hand to hers. Georgie smiled, slipping her hand into his, before Callum took her in his arms, moving their bodies in time with the music. Georgie wrapped her arms around him, as she too began to move.
As they danced, their bodies rubbed against each other. Every tiny movement made Callum’s already hard cock, harder still. He smiled as he watched her closely. Georgie knew exactly what she was doing. Her movements were slow, deliberate, and hot as hell.
Callum loved that she looked confident and sure of herself, a side to Georgie that he had never seen before. Feeling her moving against his body, Callum had never felt more turned on in his life.
Unable to hold back, he slammed his mouth against hers, kissing her hard, pulling her against him. He knew the smallest movement would be enough to make him erupt there and then. So he needed to slow this down. He needed to take control.
“Strip for me,” he breathed against her mouth, then smiled before he stepped back from her.
She watched him for a moment, a momentary look of uncertainty on her face, but then suddenly she smiled too.
She reached for the zipper on her dress, not wasting any time, her eyes never leaving his
“No,” Callum growled, stopping her immediately. “Slowly.”
Stepping back from her, as the song changed to ‘Cry to me’ by Solomon Burke, Callum walked to the bed and sat down.
Georgie stared at him for a moment, unsure of what she should do, until finally, she began to move in time with the music. Reaching up she eased her zipper down, her eyes never leaving Callum’s. Next, she unfastened the clasp at the back of her neck, before she slowly allowed her dress to slide down her arms, then billow down to the floor.
Callum’s cock strained against his pants as he watched her standing there, in stocking, stilettos and the most delicate, beautiful, lace underwear he had ever seen. He needed to have her, right then and there.
He moved to get up from the bed, but Georgie raised her hand, stopping him. She raised her finger, and wagging it from side to side, telling him no. Callum just smiled as he sat back down on the bed, deciding just to enjoy the show.
She began to move in time with the music once more, her hands caressing her body, as Callum held his breath.
Her hands glided across her breasts, allowing her thumbs to caress her nipples through the delicate lace, before she dropped one of her hands down, letting her fingers slide between her legs, as a tiny moan came from her mouth.
Callum’s heart was hammering fast now, as Georgie’s closed her eyes, she pulled her hand back up, then pushed it beneath the lace of her panties. This time her moan was louder like she was feeling it deep in her soul.
When she opened her eyes once more, she smiled at Callum before she reached up, slowly pushing the straps of her bra down from her shoulders. Then reaching behind her, she unfastened the clasp at the back, but before she dropped it from her body, she spun around, turning her back to Callum.
Glancing over her shoulder, she smiled again, before she held the bra out, dropping it to the floor.
“Oh Fuck!” Callum groaned as he reached down and undid his pants, freeing his rock hard cock. Taking it in his hand, he began to stroke it, longing to take her, burying himself inside her.
Georgie smiled, and Callum knew she was enjoying this. Finally, she reached for her panties, easing them down over her backside, then bending down to take them off, so Callum could see every inch of her as she did.
“Not the stockings,” he told her as she slowly stood back up. “Or the stilettos.”
Georgie turned slowly, her eyes not leaving his. She was stunning. Her body was perfect.
She walked slowly towards the bed, climbing over Callum when she reached him.
“Now it’s your turn to strip,” she breathed against his lips. Callum loved this confident side to Georgie. Okay, maybe it was the champagne she had been drinking, but it didn’t change how much he loved seeing her like this. Relaxed and even a little naughty.
She began to open the buttons on his shirt, her mouth kissing his bare chest as she moved down. Finally, she reached the last button, as her tongue glided down his abs, all the way down to the happy trail, as she called it, to his cock.
Callum knew where this was going. He held his breath as she moved down further. She took his cock in her delicate hand, caressing it slowly, as she glanced up at him from beneath her long lashes.
She gave him a smile, before she dropped her head once more, taking his cock into her mouth, sliding her lips almost completely down the entire shaft.
“Fuck, Georgie,” Callum groaned loudly. “You’re going to make me cum.”
Callum could feel her smile against him, as she pushed down once more. He knew he had to stop her, or this would be over before they even got started.
Reaching down, he pulled her back up onto him, claiming her mouth with his, as he rolled them both on the bed.
“Now it’s my turn,” Callum breathed against her mouth, as he reached down, pushing his trousers down before he settled between her legs. “Wrap those legs around me, Baby. This is going to be hard and fast.”
Callum pushed into Georgie with one thrust, making her cry out, but he claimed her mouth, swallowing her cries with his.
He stopped, allowing his heart to calm a little, he knew he was close, but he didn’t want this over just yet. Georgie stared up into his eyes, waiting for him to move.
When he didn’t, she wiggled against him, longing for some relief. Slowly he pulled out of her, almost all the way before he slammed into her once more.
“I fucking love you, Georgie,” he groaned against her mouth, pushing into him, once more.
“Callum,” was her breathless reply, as she held on to him tighter. Callum knew she was as close as he was to cumming.
Pulling out once more, he pushed into her again, this time he erupted inside her, as his orgasm thundered through his body.
“Yes! Yes!” Georgie cried out, as she too, found her release, holding him tightly as her entire body trembled with pleasure. Callum crashed down on to the bed next to Georgie, as they both tried desperately to ease their ragged breathing.
“That was… “Callum gasped, looking over at Georgie, giving her a wicked grin. “Amazing.”
Callum moved once more, so he was over her once again.
“I want to do this for the rest of my life,” Callum said, looking down into her eyes. “Promise me that this is forever.”
“I promise,” Georgie replied with a smile before Callum claimed her mouth once more.
Callum woke up, instantly stretching out on the bed for Georgie. His eyes snapped open when he felt her side of the bed empty. When he sat up, he looked around the room, but there was no sign of her anywhere.
Callum sighed as he pushed back the bedclothes, climbing from the bed. Without even thinking, he hurried out of his room, and down the hallway to Georgie’s room, where he found her sitting on the end of the bed, tying her shoelace.
“You’re awake,” Georgie exclaimed with a bright smile when she saw Callum standing in the doorway, completely naked.
“What are you doing in here?” He asked, giving her a questioning look, confused why she was back in her room.
“It’s after midday,” Georgie replied, giving him a look that said she was surprised by his question. “I thought I would go get Macy.”
“Why didn’t you wake me?” He asked, leaning against the door frame, still watching her closely.
“You looked so peaceful,” Georgie replied, as she stood up, walking slowly towards him. When she reached him, she slipped her arms around him, then leaned up, kissing him softly on the lips. “Besides, you work so hard all the time; I thought you could use the rest. Especially after last night.”
Callum smiled at her comment, as thoughts of the night before filled his mind. Instantly his cock was hard. He slipped his arms around her, drawing her into his arms, pressing her body against his enough that she could feel his arousal against her.
“Can’t I talk you into coming back to bed with me?” Callum asked, giving Georgie a hopeful smile. “I’m sure Mom won’t mind holding on to Macy a little longer.
“Tempting,” Georgie replied as she leaned up and pressed her lips to his. “But I promised her I would take her for ice-cream, then stop by the park. I can’t let her down. Besides, I miss her.”
“Well then, let me get changed and I’ll come with you,” Callum offered, but Georgie smiled once again.
“I won’t be long,” she assured him, as she kissed him once more. “Why don’t you go have a shower, and when we get back, we can go to the park together?”
“Are you sure you don’t mind going to get her?” Callum asked, giving her a questioning look.
“Of course I don’t mind,” Georgie replied, then added with a grin. “Besides, it’s my job.”
“I think I might have to change that,” Callum said, pulling her closer to him once more. “I don’t want you to be here because it’s your job. I want you to be here because this is your home, and we are your family.”
“I didn’t mean…” Georgie said, her face flushing with embarrassment.
“I know you didn’t mean it in that way,” Callum assured her. “But I do mean it. Georgie, I want you to be a proper part of this family.”
“I know,” she replied, smiling at him.
“So, I was thinking, for starters,” Callum continued. “I want you to move into my room. Properly, I mean. Your clothes, your things, all of it. Today.”
“Really?” She asked, looking up at him.
“Of course, really,” Callum replied with a grin. “I want to wake up with you beside me, every day, for the rest of my life.”
“I’d like that,” Georgie smiled, before she leaned up, kissing Callum once more. “I’ll move my stuff when I get home.”
She kissed him once more and smiled before she hurried out of her bedroom.
Callum followed her to the top of the stairs, still completely naked.
“It’s not too late to change your mind,” he called after her with a laugh. Georgie turned back to look at him, with the biggest grin on her face, before she blew him a kiss, then disappear down the hallway. Moments later, the apartment door slammed shut.
I’m going to marry that girl, Callum thought to himself, with the biggest smile on his face as he turned and headed back to his bedroom.
He walked into the bathroom, switching on the shower, letting the water heat up. He stared at his reflection in the mirror and smiled to himself. For the first time in his life, he knew he exactly what he wanted, with whom he wanted to share the rest of his life with.
She needs to say yes first! He thought to himself as he turned back to the shower and climbed beneath the water.
Ten minutes later, he was climbing out of the shower, with a whole plan of action decided on. He was going to propose to Georgie. Callum knew that while it may seem soon, there was no point in waiting. They were already living together, he knew he loved her, and he was almost certain that she loved him too. So why not just make it official.
The doorbell to the apartment sounded, as Callum stepped out into his bedroom. He quickly pulled on a pair of jeans before he headed for the door. He knew that it was most likely one of his brothers, or maybe Georgie has changed her mind and had come back for some more grown-up time.
He smiled as he walked down the stairs at that thought. Though he knew she would have her key, so most likely it wouldn’t be her. Still, he hoped.
When the doorbell sounded again, this time for longer than before, Callum picked up his pace as a feeling of dread settled inside him.
He had just reached the door when the bell sounded again. Callum pulled open the door, to find a worried looking Landen standing there.
“Hey,” Callum said as he stepped back to let Landen into the apartment. “You look like you’re ready to kill someone. Is everything okay?”
“Not really,” Landen replied, as he turned to his brother, giving him a look that said something was very wrong. Taking a deep breath, Landen handed Callum a newspaper, then added. “You might want to sit down.”
Callum glanced down at the paper before he looked back up at his brother. He walked to the sofa and sat down before he lifted the paper once more.
The moment he saw the headlines, his heart slammed against his chest.
There printed in bold letters was Callum’s worst nightmare.
It said. “The Billionaire, the nanny, and the love child,” above a photo of him and Georgie outside the ball the night before.
“Oh fuck!” Callum groaned, as a knot of panic formed in his stomach.
“That’s not the worst part,” Landen replied.
Callum quickly read through the article, and it told how Callum had recently discovered that he had a four-year-old love child that he never knew existed, and how he was literally left holding the baby. Then it went on to say that he had broken up Georgie’s relationship with her fiancé, to have her come and play happy family with him and his daughter. It also said that he had beaten up her fiancé when the young man came to confront him at the Charity Ball, the night before.
“Are you fucking kidding me with this shit?” Callum exclaimed as he threw the newspaper across the room in a temper, before he jumped up from the sofa.
“Did you know that there was a boyfriend?” Landen asked as he watched Callum pace up and down.
“I knew there was a boyfriend,” Callum confirmed with a sigh. “But I didn’t know he was her fucking fiancé. She said she caught him fucking some girl, so she left. That was when we met, she needed a place to stay, and I needed help with Mace.”
“But you didn’t beat him up last night, right?” Landen asked, but the worried look on his face told Callum he wasn’t sure he was going to like the answer.
“He turned up last night at the event,” Callum explained. “He was drunk, demanding to talk to Georgie. Liam and I handled it.”
“So, you didn’t hit him or hurt him in any way?” Landen asked. Callum stopped and gave him a look that confirmed he had. “Jesus, Cal. How many times have I told you; you can’t go around hitting people, not unless you’re willing to lose everything.”
“Oh, he was asking for it…” Callum began to say, but Landen cut him off.
“Like Liam was?” Landen replied, stopping Callum mid-sentence.
“That was different,” Callum sighed, but he knew in his heart it wasn’t. He had once again let his emotions dictate his actions. He stopped pacing, turning to his brother. “This is the last thing I wanted. I just wanted to keep her safe. Just like I want to keep Macy safe.”
“Then now is probably not the right time to tell you,” Landen sighed, as Callum's heart fell further down into the pit of his stomach. “Amelia said that this Shane guy confronted Georgie outside the beauty parlour yesterday. She said he was angry and had threatened her. Amelia said Georgie was going to tell you; she just wanted to wait until after the ball. Amelia said that Georgie didn’t want to ruin last night for you. She said that Georgie seemed afraid of him, or nervous, she wasn’t sure.”
“Are you fucking kidding me?” Callum growled as he pushed his hands through his hair, releasing a long, frustrated breath. “What the hell was she thinking not telling me about this?”
The buzzer for the front desk sounded suddenly, making Callum jump with a start.
“Where’s Annie?” Landen asked, giving Callum a questioning look.
“She is staying with her daughter for a few days,” Callum explained. “Her baby is due any day now.”
“Then I’ll get it,” Landen said as he hurried toward the hallway. “The last thing we need is you saying the wrong thing and making it worse.”
Callum flopped down on the sofa, blowing out a sharp breath as he tried to process what was going on. He had no idea what Georgie was thinking, not telling him about Shane.
Her fiancé! He thought miserably. How did I not know this? What does that make me?
“That was the front desk,” Landen groaned as he walked back into the living room. “They said there are a bunch of reporters downstairs. They want a statement from you. The doorman has called the police.”
“FUCK!” Callum sighed as he dropped his head back on the sofa. That’s when it hit him. Georgie had gone to get Macy. She would be back soon, and they would be walking right into the lion’s den when they got back. “Shit!”
“What is it?” Landen asked as he watched his brother grab the phone from the coffee table, and punch in a number.
“Georgie will be back soon with Macy,” Callum said as he hit dial, then brought the phone to his ear. “I need to warn her. Get her to take Macy back to Mom’s until I figure this out.”
He waited for her to answer her phone, but it just kept ringing.
“I can hear a phone ringing upstairs,” Landen said, as he looked from the staircase to his brother.
“Surely she wouldn’t have left without her phone,” Callum replied as he hurried for the stairs. When he reached Georgie’s room, he found her phone, ringing on the bed. “How could she be so stupid?”
But even as Callum said the words, he knew that it was his fault. She was getting ready, and he distracted her. Still, none of that changed the fact, that Georgie and Macy were about to arrive home to a sea of reporters and paparazzi that would stop at nothing to get the perfect picture.
