Finally, Phillip: Rakes vs. Wallflowers by S Cinders (13)

How good of friends… Phillip

CHAPTER 12

At Phillip’s harshly drawn breath Eden realized exactly what she had just done. Mortification washed over her, and she tried to pull her hand away from his aching cock. But as quickly as she had touched it, his large hand had covered hers and pressed her hand more firmly against him. Her eyes shot back up to his. They were black as obsidian staring down at her, his nostrils slightly flaring as he took deep breaths to regain control

“Did I misstep?” Eden’s whispered hurriedly, not wanting to do anything to upset the balance of this precarious alliance.

His voice seemed to be much deeper when he replied, “Just when I think I have the upper hand, you go and show me that I haven’t a clue what I am doing with you.”

Eden frowned slightly, “Since you are the biggest rakehell in London, I am certain that you know what to do.”

“Never mind that now. Do you feel how hard I am?” He took her hand that he had covered and ran it the length of him.

Eden felt the tremendous heat radiating off him. He was long and thick. She could feel her own breaths coming faster, must more in sync with his. Her breasts felt heavy, and that secret place between her thighs - warm and damp.

“May I see it?” she asked hesitantly.

He closed his eyes, “Not here, it is not the time or the place. Someone could come upon us. But soon, that I promise you.”

She stood there in his arms, rubbing back and forth against his swollen member, exploring through his clothing until he couldn’t take it another moment.

“I am afraid that you must stop,” he ground out the words, and she glanced up questioning. “I cannot shoot my load off in my pants, Eden, not at a ball. And for the first time since I was a randy youth, I am desperately close to it.”

He took her hand and removed it from him, but then almost as if he couldn’t help himself he lowered his head again. He groaned deep in his throat as he gave her deep sinking kisses that ravaged her mouth. She clung to him, afraid that if it weren’t for him and the wall behind her holding her body up she would have sunk completely through the floor.

His hand on her hip was tight, and when he cupped her bottom, she wanted to move against him. She just hadn’t the slightest idea how.

Slowly he started dragging up the bottom of her dress. He kept himself in front of her and kissed her as if he was dying and she was the only cure. Her mouth was perfect for him, and he knew that he could go on kissing her without ever tiring.

When Eden felt his hand on her naked thigh, she gasped against his lips, “What are…”

He took her lips again. He didn’t have the time to play teacher in this moment. He just needed to touch her, just for a moment. His fingertips brushed against the curls between her legs, and his cock throbbed, reminding him of how long it had been since he had slipped into the heat of a woman’s warmth.

He would have done anything to be doing that right now with Eden.

He tenderly nudged her legs apart while gentling his kiss.

Eden was overwhelmed. Her womanhood was throbbing, in need of something that only he could give. She hadn’t realized that she’d been whimpering into his kiss until he spoke,

“Hush, darling, I am here. I will help you.”

She could have cried at his tenderness; this was not the man that she had known, but it was one she desperately wanted to. As his fingers slipped into her, he caught her low moan in his mouth in another soul-shattering kiss. She was so very wet: his fingers were doing dangerous things to her equilibrium and she was certain that she was either dreaming or dying.

Her hips began to move in rhythm with his thrusting hand, and her hands gripped his arms.

He broke away whispering, “You are perfection, Eden! You are almost there, darling girl. Come for me, let me see you come all over my hand.”

He brought some of the moisture up and started his ministrations on her clit with his thumb while he continued to thrust inside of her. It didn’t take more than a moment before she saw stars shattering the world around them. Her hips continued to pump until the last of her pleasure was spent.

Dazed and more than a little frightened she looked up at him.  He looked just as dazed as she did. His hand was still between her thighs.

“Ummm…” Eden wiggled a little, her eyes flashing back and forth, looking anywhere but at him.

Phillip seemed to gather himself and immediately pulled his hand away, helping her to straighten her dress.

She didn’t know what to say or do.

He gazed at her confusion and wished to hell he knew what to say to put her at ease. He should have known - he had been in this situation a million times before. And yet it was never quite like this. And it had never been like that before.

He tipped her chin up to look at him, “Are you angry with me?”

Eden blushed, “No.”

His eyes narrowed searching her face, “Are you sorry I touched you?”

Eden’s blush increased tenfold, “No.”

He felt a swelling inside of his chest that he had no wish to examine at that precise moment, but it was enough that he knew things were decidedly different.

He bent down and brushed his lips against hers, “I’m not sorry either.”

Eden looked at him before whispering, “Good.”

“You had better go to the ladies’ retiring room and freshen up. I would imagine your mother is looking for you about now.”

Eden’s face fell into a horrified expression: she had completely forgotten that they were at a ball in a hidden alcove. She shoved him to the side and made to leave, but stopped just before.

“Are you coming?”

He smiled ruefully, “I am not fit for company at the moment.”

Realizing that he was referring to their lovemaking, she blushed again before nodding and running off.

It wasn’t a moment later that an amused male voice was heard over the din, surprisingly close to where Phillip was standing.

“Eden Norfolk, Randall?! I thought we had a policy against innocents?”

“Moberly,” Phillip swallowed his humiliation. “I suppose I am glad it is you and not someone else.”

Daniel’s eyes were alight with laughter as he peeked around the fern. “I had to steer off many an amorous couple wanting the same location. Sadly, I recognized you, but I didn’t know the lady’s identity until now.”

Phillip’s face whitened, “Did anyone see her?”

Daniel shook his head, “No, none other than me, and you know that I can keep a secret. But this is not like you, Phillip.”

Phillip groaned, “It’s complicated.”

Daniel smiled at his friend, “With women it usually is. Is there a reason you are still hiding in there?”

Phillip was silent for a moment before saying, “How good of friends are we, Dan?”

Daniel’s grin widened, “Good enough to forgive those 100 pounds I owe you from the races last week, I’d wager.”

“I was afraid of that,” Phillip grumbled. “I need you to get me out of here unseen. I’ve had a slight incident.”

Daniel quirked a brow, “Incident…?”

“Just get me out of here,” Phillip ground out.

Daniel, being the good friend that he was, devised a brilliant plan and could get Phillip out the servants entrance without anyone seeing him. But it was not without a great guff of laughter when he realized the reason behind it all.

“Shot your load… this is priceless.” Daniel’s laughter could be heard through the streets.

“You bloody bastard, I hope you rot in hell,” Phillip muttered, although a slight smile could be seen if one was really looking.

“I love you too, Randall. You know I do!”
