Healing Gabriella (Red Devils MC Book 8) by Michelle Woods (16)

Chapter Sixteen

Gabriella leaned back into the tree watching Molly and Bone. They sat near the fire with Molly cuddled in Bone’s arms. He grinned and laughed at something she said as he nuzzled his face into her neck. She had rarely seen Bone smile unless Molly or his daughter was present. From what she understood, he’d been a hard, cold man before Molly showed up. Not that he wasn’t still considered a cold hard man with anyone except his wife and daughter, but watching him laugh and cuddle Molly was weird. She’d actually seen it with most men in the club. None of them were men she would call gentle or soft, but when they were with their women it seemed like the hardness that normally surrounded them melted away.

It was the same with Kyle. He wasn’t real cuddly or kind with anyone, but with her he was downright gentle. Over the past month she’d finally figured out a way to give them both the pleasure they’d been starving for, making her notice how he did so many little things for her. Making her breakfast, kissing her awake in the morning, or just holding her late at night were just some of the things he did. Not to mention the massive orgasms he’d given her since they’d started having sex. As she’d become more comfortable with him they’d found a few more triggers that made her panic, but nothing that had led her into an incoherent blubbering blob. She was glad that they were past the trauma that she’d went through, and now had a relatively normal sex life. Even if she couldn’t handle any rough stuff in the bedroom, they were both happy.

At first, she’d been worried she wouldn’t be able to satisfy him sexually with the vanilla sex they were having. She was sure he’d want something rougher or maybe wilder, but if the relaxed look and the wide smile he wore anytime he was around her was any indication, she didn’t have anything to worry about. She felt hard arms sliding around her waist as Kyle slipped between her and the tree she’d been leaning on. Gabi didn’t need to look to see if it was him, she knew who it was by his smell and the gentle way that he cradled her as he nuzzled into her neck placing little kisses on her skin.

“You okay, firefly?” he asked when she sank back into him with a contented sigh.

“I am,” she replied, feeling truly happy for the first time since she’d been taken.

“Good, Log is going to need me to take a run this week and I wondered if you wanted to come with us. It’s a favor for an old friend and doesn’t have anything to do with club business. It should be safe. I know you’ve enjoyed riding with me on short trips, but maybe you might like to come on a longer one?” Kyle asked, his voice hesitant.

Gabi turned in his arms, her eyes searching his face. She realized the hesitation wasn’t because he didn’t want her to come with him, it was because he was scared she wouldn’t want to go. Her heart squeezed with love for this amazing man who just wanted to make her happy.

“I’d like that,” she said, kissing his chin.

Kyle’s eyes lit up as he grinned. “Yeah?”

“Yeah,” she replied, enjoying the happiness that spread across his face.

“Alright then. We leave in two days.” He leaned down and his lips took hers in a passionate kiss that nearly curled her toes. She wrapped her arms around his neck, her body tingling in all the right places as she allowed his tongue to spear into her mouth, making her moan and press her hardened nipples against his chest. Her hands were gripping his shoulders and she felt like she was going to explode. He pulled away from her lips leaving soft nipping kisses along her jaw down to her neck. Letting out a moan she wondered how long he’d want to stay.

“Geez, get a room.” Log grunted from behind them.

“Shut the fuck up, asshole.” Kyle replied, kissing her neck gently. “I thought you were going to find a sweetbutt to harass. Why are you annoying me instead?”

“Because I can.” Log replied laughing.

“Go away. I want to be alone with my old lady.” Kyle snapped, lifting his head to glare at Log. Gabriella smiled. Hearing that comment, she remembered four days ago when he’d come home early with a thin package he’d seemed super nervous about. He’d come into the cabin while she was cooking and sat down at the counter holding the box. He’d looked almost green, and at first she’d been worried he wasn’t happy and wanted to get rid of her.

“Don’t freak out, firefly.” He’d said, holding her eyes with his as he slid the package across the counter to her. She noted that he looked like he was going to crawl out of his own skin he’d been so wracked with nerves. Taking the package, feeling her own nerves twisting, she’d reached down and took the box about to open it, but his hand had stopped her. Covering hers as he’d stared into her grey-green eyes.

“This doesn’t change anything between us. We are happy and this just makes sure you’re safe and that people understand who we are. It isn’t a threat to anything, okay.” Kyle said confusing her. Unsure, she’d been almost afraid to open the damned thing, but when he’d released her she’d been too curious not to. Opening the box, she’d gasped. Inside the black tissue paper was a property cut. She’d pulled it out with tears burning her eyes. Kyle had freaked out when she started crying, telling her he’d take it back, but she’d growled no, surprising him. Then he’d began grinning, and soon after that she’d been wearing it while she rode his cock in their bed.

The memory had a smile teasing her lips and she rubbed the smooth leather of the property cut he’d given her. She’d started wearing it that night and hadn’t taken it off since. She was still worried that she wouldn’t make him happy, but she wasn’t giving up on them. He was her rock. The man who’d helped her heal and she wanted to be his, and this patch let everyone know that she was. She heard a loud shout, making her startle a little as catcalls and whistles went up from the crowd. Gabriella glanced around looking for the commotion seeing a large group over near the fire, but she couldn’t see what was going on. Kyle stood up frowning as he moved towards the large group of men, towing her behind him. He stopped several feet away and turned to Log who’d followed them.

“You got her?” Kyle asked, looking grim.

“I do.” Log responded.

Kyle moved closer to the group, his face grim as Gabriella realized something bad was happening in the middle of the group of men. Most of them weren’t Red Devils, but they were part of a patched over club, the Black Skulls MC that had been included in the bon-fire party tonight. Gabriella watched as Kyle shoved his way past the first few men as a feminine scream reached her ears making her flinch. Log moved closer, standing right beside her trying to reassure her without touching her.

“What the hell?” Bone asked as he set aside Molly and moved over to the large group, also shoving his way inside. It took a few minutes before a shot rang out and the men started moving back as Kyle and Bone guided a young woman out of the group with grim looks on their faces. The woman was holding her top which was ripped and she looked like she was in shock as she was guided over towards them. Molly had stood up and was now waiting beside her.

“What the hell happened?” Molly demanded, her face twisted into an angry frown.

“I handled it. Marnie, what the hell are you doing out here?” Bone demanded when they came to a stop near the small group.

“I—I was looking fo-for Rock.” She whimpered.

“Fuck, didn’t he tell you not to come out here to the bon-fire. Especially this late into the party?” Bone demanded.

“He di-did, but I—,” she stopped and let out a little hiccup and a sob. Gabriella couldn’t help the anger pouring through her veins as she looked at the young girl. Seeing the way her shirt was ripped and her face covered with tears, she hugged herself with one arm and held her shirt up with the other.

“Stop yelling at her! It’s not her fault they attacked her.” Gabriella growled, moving to hug the other woman, but before she could Rock came storming up.

“What the fuck is going on here?” He gruffly demanded. He moved close to Marnie pulling her into his arms. Kyle moved closer to Gabi, pulling her into his side. She leaned into Kyle seeing that Marnie was currently clinging to Rock, who’d already jerked off his cut and used his shirt to cover her while glaring at everyone. “Somebody better start explaining what the fuck is going on.”

“She got caught up in a group of drunk Skulls. I was just trying to find out why the hell you didn’t warn her to not come out here, mother fucker.” Bone barked.

“I did warn her. Marnie, honey why did you come out here?” Rock asked, gently pulling her away from him.

“I—I wanted to apologize for be-being a brat earlier, so I came looking for yo-you.” Marnie stuttered out between sobs, slamming her face back into his chest. Rock let out a little growl and scooped her up into his arms.

“Thanks. I’ll handle this.” Rock muttered, already heading away from the small group that had gathered. Gabi noticed that Tank and Tiny were both standing with them now.

“You okay, firefly?” Kyle asked, staring down at her.

Gabi nodded, even though she wasn’t sure how she felt about what had just happened. She’d always thought that she was safe with the club, but after what had just happened it made her wonder. She knew that Kyle, Log, and the rest of the main Red Devils club members were safe, but she hadn’t considered that maybe if she wasn’t wearing Kyle’s patch, or if she hadn’t been Mark’s sister before that, that she might be in danger with them. It was a bit of a shock. Her insides felt like worms squirming and twisting as she clung to Kyle trying not to panic.

“Let’s go home,” Kyle said, his eyes troubled as he watched her carefully. He seemed to sense her inner turmoil. Not that it surprised her, because he always had. Even when she was first found he’d read her like a book. Any time she was scared or hurting, he’d known.

“Okay.”

He led her away from the group that was now talking in hushed voices as Bone, Tiny, and Tank talked about what had happened with Marnie near the fire. Log followed behind them until they were close to the front porch of their cabin. As they walked up the steps to the door, Gabi felt a shiver of uncertainty flutter down her spine and sink into her skin.

Pretty Boy held the door open for Gabriella, his guts in a knot. If he had any idea what would happen at the bon-fire party tonight, he would’ve made damned sure to skip it. Even if it meant that nobody would have been there to help Bone rescue Marnie. Gabriella had finally begun to find her footing. He didn’t want anything to set them back, but he had a real bad feeling about what had happened out by the fire.

Gabriella didn’t say anything as she headed into the bedroom, her eyes looking haunted and her back was stiff. He wanted to punch something because he could tell she was struggling with what those drunk Skulls had done. Not that he thought they would have done more than terrify the girl, mainly because they’d been too drunk to realize she wasn’t a sweetbutt. Her shirt had only been ripped because when Bone had grabbed her to pull her away from the guy who’d been trying to kiss her, and the thin strap had caught on a one percenter pin the Skull’s MC guy had attached to his cut. Pretty Boy had shot off his gun when they’d started complaining about him and Bone taking their sweetbut.  It hadn’t taken the Skulls long to back off when they realized that he and Bone were serious. Being a patched over club meant that they followed the Devils rules, not the other way around.

They had scared Marnie more because they were idiots, not because they had meant to harm her, but he knew it would look different to Gabi. Seeing the ripped shirt and the way the men had been crowded around her would lend a darker light to the occurrence. Gabi would build this up in her head if he didn’t get her mind off of it soon, and she’d end up trying to leave him again. Feeling grim, he pulled off his gun setting it on the dresser. He turned towards Gabi finding her sitting on the edge of the bed taking off her shoes. She looked a little lost as she set them aside and gazed up at him. He walked towards her, needing to hold her and assure himself that she was okay. He couldn’t bear to lose what they had. Gabi looked up at him as he stepped up between her legs and reached out to cup her face. He stared into her grey-green eyes wanting to erase the last hour from her mind.

“Are you sure you’re okay, firefly?” He asked.

“I’m fine.” Gabi replied, quickly. Too quickly.

Letting out a sigh, Pretty Boy kissed her forehead and pulled her lips to his. He knew she was lying. What she’d seen had frightened her and he knew that she wasn’t okay, but there wasn’t anything that he could do to force her to see that what had happened wasn’t what she’d seen. Her trauma was clouding her view of things and if he pushed her tonight, she might end up pushing him away and he couldn’t handle that. As he kissed her softly with his hands cupping her cheeks, he felt relief when her arms wrapped around his waist.

Kissing his way down from her cheeks to her neck, he left small nipping kisses along her collar bone. She let out a little moan and squeezed his ass. Pretty Boy’s hands slipped beneath the edges of her property patch, sliding it off gently before lifting her shirt off revealing her breasts. She hadn’t put on a bra earlier and he was able to cup her rose tipped globes in his hands, slowly stroking her nipples. His cock jumped in his pants as he touched her. It was always that way with Gabi. Every time he touched her, his body seemed to recognize her and go haywire. He knew that she thought making love to her gently was hard for him, and it was, but not for the reasons she thought it was. It was hard for him only because he worried he wouldn’t be able to control his need for her. Gabi worried that she wouldn’t satisfy him, or that sex with other women would be better, but nothing could be farther from the truth. Sex with her was mind blowing and every other woman before her paled in comparison, because he loved her. Fuck, he’d finally admitted it to himself. He fucking loved this woman, he knew that he’d never be able to live without her.

His hands tightened on her breast as he sucked one of her nipples into his mouth. Grinning when he heard her moan and let out a little whimper of desire as she clung to him. Pretty Boy was on his knees between her legs sucking on her sweet little nipples while she clung to his shoulders trying to tug his cut off. Needing her touch as badly as she did his, he pulled back as he quickly ripped his cut off and tossed it towards the dresser. He didn’t care about where it landed, disrespecting his colors for the first time in his life. His shirt quickly followed before he sucked her nipple back into his mouth, swirling his tongue around the tip again, laying her back on the bed.

He didn’t cover her because they’d learned last week that it was one of her triggers, he instead laid beside her, his mouth caressing her. His fingers slipped down unbuttoning her jeans as he moved inside rubbing her clit. Gabi gasped, and Pretty Boy felt a growl rise in his throat as he kissed her from her breasts to her navel and back again. He felt her press up into his hand with satisfaction. He loved giving her pleasure. She shifted beneath him whimpering.

“Please,” she begged.

He knew what she wanted, and he would give it to her, but he needed to taste her sweetness first. They hadn’t tried oral since the night she’d been drunk, but tonight he wanted to drink her in. He wanted to feel her explode against him mouth as she screamed his name. His hands moved to her hips tugging at her jeans, pulling them off along with her panties as he tossed them aside. Gabi didn’t fight him as he spread her legs, settling between them ready to bring her to her peak. Gabi stared down at him as he looked up at her while holding her hips in his hands. He watched her eyes darken with desire, a triumphant growl forcing its way out of his throat.

When she whispered please again, he dove in, giving her what she needed by sucking her clit into his mouth and swirling his tongue over the tight bud. Her body shook as she grabbed his hair and moaned like she was dying. He grinned against her sweet pussy and lapped up the juices that flooded his mouth with greedy sounds of happiness. She pressed up into his mouth as he licked and sucked her into three orgasms before he slowly crawled up her body like the animal he was. He rolled to his back and pulled her on top, seating her slick cunt on his cock in one swift motion that earned him a gasp from her parted lips. She sank down on him slowly, pushing up and down while he held her breasts caressing her nipples.

She looked like a pleasure goddess riding his cock in a slow gentle glide that left them both breathless and content. He let her ride him in that slow gentle rhythm until she came, then starting to slam up into her as the movement of her body on his became erratic, afterwards she fell onto his chest in exhaustion. It didn’t take him long to come after he took over the thrusting, and he came as he cried out her name with his arms wrapped around her tightly. He gently shifted her off his cock and grabbed his shirt, which had somehow landed on the bed earlier. Using it, he cleaned them up before tossing it to the floor. He pulled her back into his arms, resting her against his heart, kissing her forehead gently. Gabi sighed happily and kissed him deeply before tucking her nose into the crook of his neck. Pretty Boy’s arms held her tightly and they fell asleep that way, wrapped up in each other.
