My Perfect Fit: A M/m Age Play Romance (Pieces Book 2) by M.A. Innes (3)

Maddox

The ringing of Bryan’s cell phone just as I finished drying him made us both jump. “Saved by the bell, huh?”

He couldn’t seem to decide if he should smile or frown. With his hard cock and needy little shivers running through him, it was easy to see he had conflicted emotions about afternoon nap time.

Nap time might not be the right word exactly but it drove him crazy, so that made it the perfect description. We’d lay down with a book and his binkie, sometimes with him clothed and sometimes with him naked; then I’d read to him from his books. His age-play books.

Who knew there were so many kinky authors out there?

We’d just gotten to a good part yesterday when his mom had come home early and cut nap time short, so I was anxious to see what happened next. I had a feeling whoever was on the other end of the phone was going to ruin my plans.

Teasing his cock one last time with the towel, I let him go so he could see who was calling. His sexy, naked ass looked completely fuckable as he walked across the bedroom to grab the phone off the nightstand. I almost moaned when he turned sideways and ran his finger across the screen.

“Hello?”

The profile of his hard cock sticking straight out from his long lean body was incredible. It was so damned tempting. I loved touching him when he was like this, naked and needy. I was learning some restraint—I went back into the bathroom and hung up the towels. He was on the phone and then there was the whole punishment thing. So I had to be a little bit responsible.

It wasn’t any fun.

What I really wanted to do was go up behind him and start playing with his cock and ass while he had his conversation. Not grown-up in the least but possibly appropriate Dom behavior…or at least behavior I could justify.

Coming back out of the bathroom, I started getting more of the conversation. After a few seconds of “Yeah man,” and “Sounds like fun,” I figured out it was Aaron again. Bryan was happy to have more friends, but that guy made me crazy.

Jealousy was the only thing I could blame for what I did next.

Walking close, I let my cock brush his leg. I leaned in to give him a kiss right under his ear before I whispered, “Hurry up, B. It’s nap time.”

Then I climbed up on the bed and lay back. Did I mention I was still naked and getting harder by the second? Bryan watched me and licked his lips. Aaron must have realized he wasn’t paying attention to the conversation anymore because I heard a squawk from the phone and Bryan jumped.

“Sorry man, got distracted. What time was that?” He might have been trying to listen but his focus was completely on me.

When I let my hand slide down my chest toward my cock, I thought he’d stop breathing.

“You can’t do that!” He’d covered the phone but there was no way Aaron missed the angry need in his voice.

“Sorry. Mad just…never mind…um about an hour?”

Wrapping my hand around my half-hard cock, I slowly pumped it, enjoying myself, not trying to get off again. Bryan tried to turn away but he couldn’t manage it. Teeth biting his lip and eyes starting to lose their focus, he was doing his best to get off the phone.

Aaron had to be doing it on purpose because there were a thousand little comments coming from his side of the conversation. Bryan kept making these little agreeing sounds and saying “Sure,” and “Of course.”

Finally, he managed to end the call. Nearly shaking, he picked up a pillow and threw it at me. “You’re such an ass!”

“That’s no way to talk to—”

“Don’t even say it. You just wanted to drive Aaron nuts! Do you know how hard it is to concentrate when you’re doing that?”

He looked and even sounded mad, but his hard cock and blown pupils let me know he wasn’t that angry. Frustrated would probably be a better description. I don’t know if he was expecting an apology or something but considering I wasn’t sorry, that wasn’t going to happen. I gave my cock one last long stroke and let it relax against my leg.

“What did he want? Another movie?”

After the lake last week, we’d gotten a call inviting us to go see a movie with everybody. It was the latest big blockbuster and we hadn’t seen it yet so we’d figured, why not? It had been a lot of fun. Everyone had been talking about seeing the new space movie soon. What had made it even better was that Aaron had gotten stuck sitting in an entirely different row.

“No, he said they’re having a barbecue over at Melissa’s house and wanted to know if we’d like to come. Some kind of last-minute thing because someone’s parents got hamburgers on sale. Something like that. I might not have the details right because someone was trying to distract me.”

He gave me this look like I was supposed to be sorry or something. I blew him a kiss. “Sounds like fun. So in like an hour?”

He shook his head. “Yeah, but he wanted to know if we could go pick up some chips on the way over, so we don’t have that long.”

Suddenly my cock wasn’t quite as interested. “No nap time today?”

That sucked.

Bryan blushed a little but didn’t look away. “No. By the time we finish getting ready, we’ll need to head over to the store. Maybe later? Like…like at…at bedtime?” Now he looked down at his phone, pretending to be interested in something on the blank screen.

“That’s a good plan.” Then a thought occurred to me. “We don’t have to be over there forever, do we? Dinner and stuff sounds fun, but I want time for just us tonight before it gets too late.”

He looked up and shook his head, “No. I was thinking we’d eat and hang out for a while then head home early.” He blushed and looked down again, hiding. “I like bedtime.”

Climbing off the bed, I gave him a quick kiss and wrapped him up in my arms. “I like bedtime too. I like getting you ready and snuggling while you play with your binkie, teasing you and touching you.”

“You can’t do that to me…” His voice was breathy and low and I could feel his erection bumping into my hip.

Staying in sounded much better than going anywhere, but he needed this. So I pulled him tightly one last time. Then ran my hands down to squeeze his butt because I had to. “Damn, you’re so sexy, Bryan. Can’t wait…” I waited a second. “…until your punishment’s over.”

That got me a dejected sigh. “Me too.”

Giving him a little tap, I stepped back. “Okay, let’s get ready before you distract me more.”

He gave me an indignant look. “Sure, blame the distractions on me.”

“Yup.” Then I had to dance away as he picked up another pillow. “Clothes on, dude. You don’t want to be late, do you?”

He shook his head and put the fluffy missile down. “Saved by the clock.”

I blew him a kiss before I made a dash for the bathroom. I heard the thud of the pillow as it hit the door just as I shut it. I knew he could hear me laughing, but I didn’t try and hide it. He was too funny.

Once we stopped teasing each other, getting ready didn’t take that long. Soon we were dressed and heading out the door. We’d even remembered to leave a note for his mom. Just not mentioning the lawn stuff.

“Did he say what kind of chips and how much we were supposed to get?” I wanted a little more direction for the trip.

Bryan shook his head as he climbed into the driver’s seat. “No, just to grab a couple of different kinds and that it would be the same group that was at the lake with maybe a few extra people this time.”

“If there’s extra, then we’ll bring them home. We could use some groceries anyway.” I’d made us some sandwiches earlier and there hadn’t been that much to choose from.

“Yeah, do you want to go do a bigger trip tomorrow? Mom said something about needing to go, but that way she wouldn’t have to do it this weekend.”

“That should be fine.” I could see the wheels turning in his head. “As long as we have a list. I’m not sure she wants a whole pantry full of dorm food.” I laughed and relaxed back in the seat while he pulled out of the driveway.

He smiled. “Yeah, I can see her reaction if we came back with a car full of ramen and TV dinners.”

“Um, no, that wouldn’t be funny. Okay, a list is a good idea.”

We started making the grocery list as we drove over. The trip to the grocery store didn’t take very long; what really took the longest was picking out the chips. We stood in front of the display for an insane amount of time. If we were shopping for just us then I’d have grabbed salt-n-vinegar for me and plain rippled ones for him, but we couldn’t figure out what everyone else wanted.

“He should have given us a list,” Bryan mumbled as he reached for a bag of barbecue-flavored ones, then pulled his hand back indecisively.

“Agreed.” I was starting to feel stupid. It was just snacks. We were overthinking it. “Okay, we can do this.” It was only chips. They could kiss my ass if they didn’t like what we bought. So maybe I was getting a little stressed.

I grabbed the ones I knew we liked then added a couple of bags of other flavors that didn’t suck in case we had to bring them home. Five bags might be overkill, but they’d eaten a mountain of food at the lake so probably not.

Bryan looked relieved to have the decision made and started pushing the cart toward the front of the store. “It’ll be easier tomorrow, right?”

“Yeah, we know what we like and your mom will give us a list for the rest.” I knew I could take care of us; it was guessing what other people wanted that was harder than it should have been.

We were still obsessing over the chips by the time we got to the party. Aaron had texted directions that were surprisingly easy to follow, and we got there right on time. We knocked on the door, and it was opened by a blonde girl that looked a little bit familiar. From the lake, I think because I didn’t remember her from the movies.

“Hey! You guys made it. Oh, chips, great! Thanks.” She grabbed the bags and tilted her head toward the back of the house. “Come on in. Some of the guys are playing video games in the living room.” She gestured down a long hallway. “And the rest are either in the kitchen or out in the backyard trying to figure out how to use the grill.”

She giggled and shook her head then started leading us through the boxy rooms. “I think we’re probably going to have to go find my dad and ask him to help. My parents are hiding from everyone upstairs.”

That seemed like a good idea to me. I could just see us blowing up their house or having raw burgers. I looked over at Bryan. “Didn’t Aaron make it sound like they knew what they were doing?”

He grinned and nodded. “Yeah, made it sound like they did this all the time.”

She laughed as we walked into the kitchen. “No, my mom got a good deal on the meat and thought it would be fun to have everyone over. We usually get banished to the lake with picnic stuff that the guys can’t wreck.”

She put the bags down on the counter and started talking to the group that was crowded around the table. I leaned over to whisper to Bryan when she turned her back. “What’s her name?”

“Shelly, she’s the book girl.”

Oh. “Okay.” No wonder I couldn’t figure out her name.

“You throw me to the wolves again if she starts talking about dirty books and I’m going to kill you.” He gave me a look like I was supposed to understand how serious he was.

“So you don’t want to talk recommendations with her or something? Ask her about that spanking scene in—” Oppff. He elbowed my stomach. Brat.

“I swear if you tell her what—”

I gave him a kiss.

The whole PDA thing totally slipped my mind; he was too cute. “I won’t. Don’t worry so much.”

“You make me crazy.” His eyes started to glaze and I leaned in to kiss him again.

“You guys are too cute.” Shelly’s voice broke the sexual haze that had started to wrap around us.

Damn. I gave Bryan a sheepish look. “Sorry.”

He blushed a little but shook his head and whispered, “It’s okay. I’m fine.”

Deciding that a change of scenery might alleviate some of his embarrassment, I gave Shelly a smile. “We’re going to go check out what game they’re playing. I think I’ll leave the other guys to explode the grill.”

And that was the perfect distraction. “Oh! You really think they might?” She buzzed around the table and headed toward the back door. “I’m just going to go check on them. At least I know how to turn it on.” She started mumbling about idiots as the door slammed behind her and I winked at Bryan.

“You’re terrible.” But he grinned and shook his head.

“Let’s go find the living room.”

We wandered through the house until we found where they were hanging out. It was actually some kind of old kids’ playroom turned into a game room, not a real living room because there were still a few stickers on the wall and a box of kids’ toys in a corner.

I recognized several guys from the lake. However, there were a couple of other people I didn’t recognize. Bryan plopped down in an overstuffed side chair and I sat down on the arm, watching as they blasted zombies away on the screen. We got nods and quick hellos from everyone before they went back to the game.

“Ah, busted your ass all to pieces, man!”

“In your dreams. You just shot your own boyfriend!”

“What!”

One of the other guys tossed his remote on the ground, frowning, and leaned back against the couch. “I was on your team, dumbass.”

“Man. Shit! Sorry. All these zombies look alike.”

“I’ll let you make it up to me tonight,” the dead guy said with a wink.

Bryan was just watching it all, completely absorbed. He finally leaned over. “They were in my math class like all through high school.”

I thought I could guess who he was talking about but I gave him this confused look and he blushed a little.

“The couple. I would have never guessed…” He drifted off and went back to watching the interplay between the guys.

From what I could tell as we watched them battle to the death, two of the guys were a committed couple and two others were flirting but not dating yet. The rest were just friends whose girlfriends were all in the kitchen or the backyard.

We had other gay friends at school and had even done some of the stuff with the LGBTQ society. Not much, but it wasn’t like Bryan didn’t have other gay friends. This seemed to make him think. I guess it was one thing to have heard that some of the guys you’d gone to school with were gay, but it was another to see it in person. He’d felt so alone in school that this had to be eye-opening.

“You did it again! No, don’t give me that shit about all zombies looking alike. You’re killing me on purpose because of last night!” Dead Guy, whose name was actually Zach, threw down the controller, this time with more force.

“I have no idea what you’re talking about.” Innocence was not this guy’s strong suit.

His boyfriend hit him with a pillow from the couch and growled at him. “You’re so dead when we get home. I’m getting the belt out this time.”

His cheeky boyfriend, Matt, may have blushed a little but he grinned and winked at Zach. “Yes, Sir.”

Bryan’s eyes got wide and his head looked like a ping pong ball as he watched their banter. One of the other guys, who was hanging out on the couch, not playing but talking shit, looked over at us. “Sorry. They’ve been weird since high school. Just ignore them.”

Zach looked over. “Sorry, we forget new people aren’t used to us. We can tone it down.”

Bryan’s mouth opened and closed several times but he couldn’t manage to say anything. He looked over at me, obviously asking for help. Just what he always wanted, to be the center of attention during a discussion on kink.

It also had to have completely blown his mind to know that at least a couple of people in high school had been into different things too. If the situation were reversed, I knew it would have blown mine. Hell, watching them tease and talk like that in public made me want to squirm—and not in a good way.

“That’s okay, guys. We’re not offended. Just be yourselves.” That seemed simple enough, but Zach gave me this look like he knew something was up. He went back to the game, but I knew he wasn’t ignoring us.

I was trying for subtle but Bryan’s reaction probably blew that all to hell. Still, I leaned down casually and let my hand rest on the back of his neck. That had to look innocent enough. Whispering low and giving him a squeeze, I tried to get him to calm down. “Deep breath, B. That’s good. Just relax. No one knows anything about what we’re doing. It’s okay.”

Once he seemed to have backed away from the panic ledge, I sat up and tried to look like I was watching the game. I was mostly keeping an eye on Bryan. He was doing better and leaning back in the chair again, but I could still see the wheels in his head going. Probably in circles like a little hamster or something.

I wanted to drag him out and see if he was really okay, but that would look incredibly weird. Either they’d guess we were doing something odd or they’d think we were offended. Neither option was a good one, so I sat there trying to look casual—and failing at it, miserably.

After another twenty minutes or so, the longest twenty minutes ever, someone hollered out from the back of the house that the burgers were ready. So the guys paused the game and we all headed out to the backyard. Bryan seemed to have found his footing again and was no longer looking pale enough to be one of the zombies.

“Hey, Bryan, come help carry some stuff out to the back,” Shelly called out as we headed through the kitchen.

Bryan gave her a nod. “Sure.”

We both headed over but she smiled at me. “Maddox, would you see if they need any more help setting up the food that’s already outside?”

There was no way to tell her I’d rather stay with Bryan right now without looking clingy. So I gave her a nod and him a little wink before I kept heading outside. The yard was big and open with a trampoline over in one corner and a small garden in another. The rest of it was filled with chairs and makeshift tables.

Turned out that they didn’t need any help. Just someone to occasionally move things from one table to another while they sorted the mishmash of stuff. I was moving a plate of brownies when Zach came up to me trying to look like his ending up there was completely unexpected, but the planning was obvious.

“Hey, man.”

“Hey.” I decided to play along. “You think this is where the girls meant for me to put the brownies?”

“Yeah, it should work. Everything else is desserts and stuff. You want a drink?”

Now we were getting somewhere. “Just a Coke is fine.”

“The coolers are over there by the chairs. Let’s go grab one before they make you organize something else.”

“Sure.”

We both grabbed sodas that were mixed in with beers and other stuff and found some empty chairs tucked away from everyone else. Yup, very subtle. The fact that we were probably the only guys without a beer looked a little odd too.

I wasn’t sure what he was going to say, so I didn’t have a good response when he looked down at our drinks and cocked his head. “Can’t play without a clear head.”

It was something simple enough that someone else might not have understood the reference. But I’d done enough reading lately to understand what he was saying right off the bat. The question was…what was I supposed to say?

Ignore it and pretend we were completely vanilla?

That might be what Bryan would prefer, but I wasn’t much for playing ostrich. Zach could probably tell I was trying to figure out how to respond because he sat back and waited, watching me. I nodded and took a sip of my drink. “Not a good idea. You’re right.”

A look of understanding flashed across his face. “Bryan seems…shy.”

That was an understatement if we were talking about kink stuff, and I had a feeling we were. “Yup.”

“I should have guessed. All of us bus kids turned out pretty interesting.” Now his smile was full of suppressed laughter and he shook his head.

“Bus kids?” I thought I knew what he was talking about, but I wasn’t going to guess.

“I’m sure Bryan’s told you by now.” Leaning back more, he took a sip of his drink. Then looked around before pointing to some short guy with longer hair over by the trampoline. “John’s brother was kinky as hell in college and didn’t hide it very well. John was the guy who brought the stuff to school.”

The guy didn’t look that sketchy now, but he must have been something else when they were all younger to have brought that stuff around. I wasn’t sure what to say. I couldn’t quite tell where the conversation was going so I nodded and raised an eyebrow.

He laughed. “Just about everyone from that day has turned out a little more interesting than everyone else. We either turned toward the kink or as far away from it as we could. We’d always thought that Bryan fell into the latter group…but that wasn’t right, was it?”

Now I was backed into a corner.
