My Perfect Fit: A M/m Age Play Romance (Pieces Book 2) by M.A. Innes (11)

Maddox

“You gonna to be all right over there?” Yeah, I might have been teasing him a little too much, but he looked so cute when he blushed and squirmed. The fact that my words only made his hard-on worse was fun too.

Bryan turned toward the window and tried to control his wiggling, but he couldn’t quite stop it. If he was really upset with me, his erection would have gone away by now so I wasn’t worried. Instead, I finished turning off the car and leaned over closer to him. “You know, your special place has been hard since you gave Daddy kisses in the shower.”

Beautiful.

His head fell back against the seat and his hands came up to cover his face. His words came out muffled and whiny. “I can’t help it.”

I liked that he couldn’t help it.

Fighting the urge to reach down and cup him, I tried to sound stern. “I think the next time you have to be punished, we’re going to need to get you a little cage for your special place. Daddy can’t take you to have fun when your special place is begging for attention.”

He’d been hard as a rock since we’d gotten home from helping Mr. Haslet out. The shower probably hadn’t helped, but it was so easy to see that he’d been looking forward to it. Even without being able to orgasm, Bryan still liked pleasing me and submitting.

It was a difficult call to make. Come on, it was impossible to deny either of us when he sank down to his knees in the shower, the water running over his sexy, naked body and asked if he could give me kisses. I would have had to be a monk to say no.

There was also no hiding the fact that he liked the denial. He liked not being able to come and surrendering that choice to me. After only a couple of days, he seemed as if he was more confident in our relationship. I had to think that his punishment had something to do with it.

He wasn’t hiding nearly as often. He’d been able to go into a sex shop, for goodness’ sake, and stand there while I talked about orgasm denial and toys. Even a week ago, Bryan would never have been able to do that. He would have probably worried himself into a heart attack in the car on the way over.

What I couldn’t decide was how much control and denial to use on a regular basis. I didn’t want him to feel like he was being punished all the time, but if it made him feel more secure then I had to figure out a way to work it into our daily life. Right?

Another question for a more experienced Dom…or Domme.

All right, if we were ever going to be able to get out of the car and go down to the lake, we had to get his cock under control. Time to stop teasing and talk about something else. “What did you think about Mr. Haslet’s offer to go back down tomorrow and weed the flower beds?”

Offer was a nice way of saying he’d told us to be back down earlier tomorrow so he got more done before his shows came on. Bryan laughed and his hands came down to rest on his lap. “He’s so funny. His stories were great.”

“When he said he’d rather shave than weed around the tomatoes I thought I’d die. The look on your face!”

“I was so confused! I didn’t realize he meant his legs!” Bryan’s hands started waving around. “Who says something like that? We’re basically strangers!”

“He’s open about who he is, I’ll give him that.”

“Then he looked down at his skirt and asked what we thought about it! My kinks don’t line up with rating women’s clothing.”

“I thought it looked nice. You could have come up with something nice to say too. It was very colorful and the length was probably good on him. I can’t picture him having great gams at this point.”

“For the love of—” Bryan was shaking his head.

I’d had a great time, but Bryan had been constantly in a state of shock. He’d never been around anyone like Mr. Haslet. He was so open and honest about who he was. The first time the old guy had said something colorful, Bryan had just looked at him, not sure how to respond. The older man had shrugged and told us that he’d hidden who he was for too long and he wasn’t going to worry about it anymore.

Personally, I thought that Michelle must have dropped some kind of hint that Bryan needed to see people who were more open. A couple of times, the funny old man had winked at me when Bryan’s back was turned. He seemed to be going out of his way to make sure we knew he was frustrated by all the time he’d wasted hiding from who he was.

Hopefully, Bryan wouldn’t realize that. I had a feeling it would make him too nervous to go back over there tomorrow if he did. But it was good for him, for both of us probably. What we wanted wasn’t going to ever be something that was really open for everyone to see, but we didn’t need to hide from everyone. There were always going to be people that we could share more of who we were with.

Sarah and Richard came to mind right away.

It probably wasn’t the right time to bring that up to Bryan, though he was getting closer to accepting it. At breakfast, when I mentioned emailing Sarah, he’d turned red but hadn’t hidden. He’d nodded his head and took a couple of deep breaths. It was a much better reaction than I’d expected.

“What do you want to do when he lets us escape tomorrow?” Bryan was relaxed in his seat now, leaning against the door and smiling.

“Let’s go walk around those shops downtown. Then we can get something to eat. Maybe try something different since all you’ve tried is the diner.”

“Sounds good.” He reached for the door handle. “You want to carry the cooler and I’ll grab the blanket and stuff?”

“Sure.” We’d packed for an army knowing that we might run into his friends. Neither of us was looking forward to it, but it probably couldn’t be helped. There were only a couple of people that I didn’t want to see, but we might not be able to avoid them. Letting them chase us away from the lake wasn’t an option either. Bryan was very firm about that.

Surprisingly firm.

I’d expected him to be nervous or to even consider not going. He shook his head and said that he loved the lake. I kept my fingers crossed that we wouldn’t have to deal with anyone today. A nice relaxing afternoon with just the two of us sounded perfect.

Looking around as we got the stuff out of the car, I wasn’t sure that was going to be possible. Bryan saw me searching the groups, but he didn’t say anything. He just stood a little straighter and shook his head like he didn’t want to talk about it. Defiance was better than hiding.

Probably.

As we got down to the edge of the water, he pointed to a spot that was still fairly empty. It was a bit of a walk for people with kids and stuff so hopefully, it would stay that way. The cooler felt like it weighed a ton by the time we weaved our way through the crowds.

“What did you put in here? Bricks?”

“Wimp. It’s drinks and stuff. I know we’ve already had lunch but I’m starving already.”

“We’ve been going nonstop since first thing this morning. That old man didn’t go easy on his free labor.” We flopped down on the blanket, laughing. I yawned and stretched out but jerked when something landed on my chest. “Hey!”

“Sunscreen first, then nap, or you’re going to end up regretting it.” He smirked and I was tempted to say something to tease him back but then we’d run into the whole erection problem again. Trying to behave myself was hard.

“Thanks.” The tone of my voice didn’t hide my irritation.

He grinned even bigger. “You’re welcome.”

Shirt off and lotion on, I was almost asleep when I heard a low, “Shit.”

Opening one eye, refusing to give up on the idea of a nap just yet, I looked at Bryan. “Everything okay?”

He took a deep breath then ran his hand over my chest. “Yes. Everything is fine. I’m going to read and you’re going to nap.”

That definitely meant something was wrong.

Two guesses what, and the first one doesn’t count. “They’re here, huh?”

“Yup. Just pulled in. I plan on ignoring them. You close your eyes and at least look like you’re napping. I’m going to go back to my book. Hopefully, they’ll take the hint.” He gave me a firm nod that looked like he was taking this very seriously then went back to staring at his phone.

I closed my eyes. “Getting to a good part?”

He tried to sound like I was crazy. “It’s a mystery.”

“A gay romance mystery?”

There was a pause. “Go back to your nap.”

I snorted but tried to follow his directions. Between working on both yards and the blowjob in the shower, I was beat. I was fading back to sleep when I was jerked back to functioning by giggles and laughter. Shit.

They couldn’t take a hint.

Opening my eyes, I was greeted by the lovely sight of three assholes and a bunch of people who were assholes by association if they didn’t let me get back to sleep. Not that it was going to be possible now. I shouldn’t have to protect my boy from his friends.

“You guys got the message! When you didn’t pick up earlier we were afraid you wouldn’t come.” It was what’s-her-name, the dirty book girl.

I looked at Bryan, raising an eyebrow. They’d called? He looked a little bit guilty and mouthed voicemail before shrugging. We were going to have a talk about the best way to avoid people. Listening to the message would have been a good idea.

They laid out blankets and made trips back to their cars to get food and stuff, but eventually, they were all settled and chatty. Why did the dicks always want to sit by the people who were trying to avoid them?

On one side was Aaron grinning and trying to chat up Bryan, who was still trying to read his book. On the other side, I had the pleasure of tweedle-dick and tweedle-nosy. Lovely. Deciding that going back to sleep would make me a dick too, I started digging around in the cooler.

Grabbing water and a sandwich, I sat up and tried to ignore everyone. It didn’t work. Zach piped up and I couldn’t decide if he was trying to ignore how weird everything had been the other day or if he was just that stupid.

“Hey, you guys left the barbeque pretty fast. I was hoping we’d get to play you guys.”

Good God, we weren’t going to do this, were we? “Yeah, maybe another time.” That was the best I could do. Anything else was going to come out aggressive or obnoxious. Bryan wasn’t having fun either. Aaron kept trying to look over his shoulder and see what he was reading. That ass was getting entirely too close to my boy.

“Hey, B. Let’s go cool off.” The water looked like the only place where we were going to get some privacy.

“Sure.” He looked relieved as he locked his phone and stuck it in the bag. Standing, I took his hand and pulled him up. Aaron was watching—I couldn’t help myself. I gave Bryan a little kiss and kept his hand as we walked down to the water.

He wasn’t mad. He laughed and shook his head at me. “Jealous much, caveman?”

“You have no idea.”

Tightening his grip on my hand he smiled. “Thank you for behaving then.”

“Welcome.” He was right. Compared to what I’d wanted to do, I’d been very well behaved.

We waded out deep enough for Bryan to lie back in the water and float. Since there was no way I was going to do that, I just held his hand and kept him from going too far. He looked relaxed and sweet, but the way the water beaded on his chest and made his swim trunks cling to his body had me thinking dirty things.

“You’re thinking naughty things, Daddy.”

It didn’t take a psychic to figure that one out. “Oh, yes.”

“No goofing off today. There are too many people watching us.”

He was right.

I hated that.

“Well, if I’m not allowed to entertain myself then you have to do it for me. Talk to me about something.”

“That’s vague.” Bryan frowned but stayed floating in the water, pulling himself around by my hand. “About what?”

“Anything. I’m supposed to be taking a nap and you’re supposed to be reading about some kind of sexy detective who’s probably got a freaky partner or something.”

He laughed, “Freaky boss.”

“Even better.” I moved him back and forth in the water.

“Do you want to stay here or should we go? I’m not in the mood to deal with everybody. Aaron won’t take a hint, and moron one and moron two are too pushy.” He frowned but still hadn’t opened his eyes. “I still don’t know why they thought we’d be open to talking to them.”

“I’m not opposed to talking about it in general—”

“We saw that at the store.”

“Don’t interrupt.” He laughed and I was glad to see he was starting to relax about it.

“They just didn’t make me comfortable and were too…pushy.” Bryan’s description was the best one I could think of but nosy would work too.

“It was like they were trying to take the decision out of our hands. You should be the one to decide that, not someone else.” He cracked open one eye and gave me this look like he was offended on my behalf.

“I should decide, huh?” That was interesting.

“Well, yeah. I’m not the best person to make that decision so it’ll be like the sex thing.” He closed his eyes again but managed to say the whole sentence without trying to hide. Of course, he would have probably drowned if he tried to, but still.

“What if you disagree with me?”

He thought about it. “Like not happy with it or actually don’t think it’s a good idea?”

“Either one.”

“I trust you. If I’m just uncomfortable, you’re going to make me do it anyway because it’s the right decision—like talking to you about stuff. If I think you’re wrong, like if you would have tried to share lots of stuff with Matt and Zach, then I would have said no and you would have stopped.” He was very matter-of-fact and really talkative for him.

“What about Sarah and Richard?”

“The people from the store?” He said it like he was hoping they would magically turn out to be someone else.

“Yup.”

Now there was a pause. “I don’t know.”

“You don’t know or you don’t want to talk about it?”

“Door number two?” It came out as more of a question, so I decided that he was probably just getting uncomfortable.

“What if I said I wanted to do something like go out to dinner with them?”

He sank like a rock.

I pulled on his hand and he came up sputtering and coughing. “You weren’t supposed to drown, B.”

He blinked and coughed again. “Wasn’t expecting that one.”

“Obviously.”

“Hey!”

I laughed and pulled him close, letting him hide his face in my neck. “So, what do you think? Now that you can’t drown and all.”

“I…I don’t know.”

It wasn’t a no.

“All right, Baby.” If it wasn’t a no then it was up to me. Time to switch topics so he didn’t swallow the lake. That would’ve been gross. “What do you want to do this afternoon? There’s only so long we can hide out here.”

He thought about it for a minute. “You want to make Mom dinner?”

“Trying to butter her up, huh?”

“Oh, yeah. We’re going to distract her by showing off how functional you are.”

He was serious but I thought it was funny as hell. Once I caught my breath, I gave him a quick kiss. “Sounds fun.” At least it sounded better than hanging out with everyone else. “Do you know what you want us to cook?”

“You’ve got to be kidding, right?” I got the “You’re an idiot” look again.

He was right. “Okay, I’ll pick.”

“And cook. We’re trying to impress her, not burn down the house.”
