Chapter Eight
Lilly
Walking into the Strip Club I felt my heart rate go up and I had a flash back to the asshole in Reno slamming me up against the wall and pulling at my G-String. I take a deep breath and feel Tink squeeze my hand “We don't have to do this Lilly”
“Yes, we do” I tell her “Come on” I pull her through the doors it's not what I expect, the lights are all on and I see people walking around cleaning. I turn and see a woman behind the bar and she turns and looks at us as we walk over to the bar
“No underage kids in here” she says looking at Tink
“She not she's just small” I tell her
“Than what can I help you with?”
“Are you still hiring”
“You looking to strip” I nod “Give me a minute” she walks off to the back of the club, where standing there a few minutes when a very handsome older black guy walks towards me (dam)
“You looking for a job darlin'” he says and I nod, he looks at me than at Tink
“So, you wanna be a stripper or you just need the money”
“The later” I tell him and he nods his head towards a seat and we sit facing each other
“Any experience”
“Yes, I've done it before in a club in Reno”
“Reno why'd ya leave”
“Honestly”
“Straight up girl”
“I almost got raped and I didn't wanna stick around” he frowns at me and rubs his hands down his goatee
“How old are ya”
“Twenty”
“What's your act?”
“What are you looking for?” I ask him
“Anything special you can do”
“I'm good at the pole”
“Will you do private rooms” I look around
“No” I say firmly and he holds up his hands
“Just askin' we got back rooms that can make you a hell of a lot of money”
“No, I'm fine with just the stage work”
“Ok no problem and seein' that I'm desperate your hired”
“When do I start?”
“Tomorrow”
“Who's the kid?” he asks and I look at Tink
“My sister”
“How old is she?”
“Nineteen why?”
“I could use her” I squint my eyes at him this fucking prick better not suggest Tink be a stripper “Not what you’re thinkin' girly I need someone to help the girls out the back, the last person I had up and left with his boyfriend and I need someone to help the girls get ready”
“So, no front work”
“No, strictly in the back room, no men allowed back there darlin' not even the Brothers” I'd noticed his jacket when I came in and hesitated but dam we need the money
“Tink come here” she gets down off the stool and walks over to us. She's a good half a foot shorter than me when I met her I honestly thought she was like thirteen or fourteen not eighteen.
“Well aren't you a tiny little thing”
“So, what time tomorrow” I ask him
“Come in around four and we'll go over shit, bring ID and then you can work out a routine, have a practice and shit before your first show” I stand and hold out my hand
“Thank you, Sir,”
“Oki darlin' nothin' else just Oki”
“Thanks Oki we'll see you tomorrow” I can see out the corner of my eye Tink staring at me, I push her towards the door and smile and the women behind the bar. As we round the corner of the club Tink pulls away from me
“What did he mean by us Lilly?”
“He gave us both a job ok”
“Noooo, I'm not stripping you know I can't I won't” I know Tink's always had a thing about people looking at her body even during summer when it's like eighty degrees out she's still covered up
“You’re not, you’re just helping the girls out the back to get ready”
“Lilly” I turn to face her
“Hay I would never let anyone hurt you, you know that right” she nods her head
“I know”
“Plus think of it this way it's double the pay check” she smiles
“Good come on I need to get ready for tomorrow” we walk to the nearest salon, this is the bit I hate about stripping.

“Hello how can I help you” the women behind the desk asks as we walk in
“Yeah I need a wax”
“Sure, what would you like done?”
“Everything” I say and she looks at me
“Everything” she repeats and looks down at my crotch
“Yep the lot”
“Ok come on back and I'll get Sharon to help” she leads me out the back After the wax I had my nails done fingers and toes. I had a spray tan my hair done eyebrows waxed and everything was ready (god I hate my life sometimes).

Lying in bed later that night we watch an old black and white movie on the crappy TV that get five stations “Hay Lilly”
“Yeah Tink”
“Are you scared about tomorrow” I turn over and look at her
“Are you”
“Yeah, a bit, that Oki guy looked kind of scary and he was wearing a mc jacket”
“I know but we need the jobs Tink, it's going to be ok, you'll see I have a good feeling about this place”
“Are you sure we can still look around”
“No Tink I'm ok, it's just a job”
“But you'll be... you know......naked and stuff”
“Tink I'll be fine and I have done this before ok, don’t worry or you'll start to freak me out”
“Sorry”
“Hay” I get up and sit next to her on her bed
“We'll be together and Oki said where you'll be no men are allowed back there ok, so you'll be safe and I'll be on stage not on the floor so no-one will touch me”
“I hate this”
“What?”
“This, look at us we have nothing”
“Hay we have a lot more than some people have, don't we” she looks at me
“Like what?”
“Each other numpty” I give her a noggie and she laughs as I jump on top of her and start tickling her
“Stop Stop Stop I'm going to wet myself”
“Then tell me where good”
“Where good, where good ok” I kiss her on the cheek
“Get some sleep Tink we've got a big day tomorrow”
