Swerve by Kristi Lynn (21)

This part is harder than I thought it would be. I have a huge fear I will forget someone who means the world to me. So if I do, please know that it is not intentional.

Readers – Thank you for taking a chance on a newbie author. There are so many books to choose from and the fact that you chose mine, means the world to me. Whether you loved it or hated it, I am grateful you gave it a chance.

Bloggers – Thank you for all you do. You are the unsung heroes of this community. You give your time, energy and passion to this community day in and day out. I see you and I appreciate you.

Kari Nappi, Crystal Solis, and Delaney Foster – Thank you for being my sounding board, my cheerleaders, and my sanity. I love you girls to the moon and back. My life would be less without you. Kari, a special shout out to you for designing the perfect cover and teasers for this story. You are my person. I don’t know what I did to deserve your friendship, but I cherish it.

To my family and friends – Thank you for your understanding while I chased my dream. I was barely present and none of you questioned that or made me feel less than for doing this. A special shout out to my mom, for always believing in me and encouraging me, no matter what. I am blessed to have you for a mom.

Adriana Locke – Your guidance, encouragement, and knowledge sharing is the ultimate gift. I can never thank you enough for offering a new author an opportunity to learn from you. I have been in love with your words for a very long time, but what I admire most about you, is how much you give of yourself to others. You epitomize selflessness. My love for you overflows and thank you will never be enough. You are the only person I will share Julian Edelman with willingly.

Mandi Beck and Tiffany Remy – You ladies are rockstars! Your support and encouragement throughout this journey is something I will never forget. You both jumped in and helped answer questions and guide me. It means more to me than you will ever know.

Karen Hrdlicka – You simply are amazing. Thank you for taking me on as a client and doing my edits. Editing for a brand new author is not something for the faint of heart. Your patience and encouragement gave me the courage to see this to the end. I will sing your praises from the rooftops.

JM Walker – You are my hero! Thank you for helping me and dealing with my panicked messages throughout the formatting process. I adore you!

My besties (Cindy, Elizabeth and Tracey) – We have been on this journey through the book world together for a long time. You ladies are a constant in my life and for that I am so thankful. I love you guys!

Sierra Kummings – Thank you for being you! You have been encouraging me since day one about this book and life in general. Our conversations are some of my favorites. You’re one of the few people I can talk openly, honestly, and candidly with, without fear of judgement. That is rare!

To my ladies who are part of the MMIS collection (Crystal, Emma Louise, Emma Nicole, Jenna, Jeanmarie and Lucy) – I am so damn proud of you all. I am not sure I could have done this alone, and I am so grateful I didn’t have to. The friendship I have developed with you ladies is one of the best things about this process. The laughs, tears, encouragement, and support is something I will never forget. You ladies are stuck with me for life. We did it!

There are so many people who have been supportive throughout this process. Too many to name. But please know this, I am thankful. I am appreciative. And I have so much love for you.
