Chapter Fifteen

Jordan dreamt that he was standing outside in the snow, completely naked from the waist up. He wasn’t cold, but he knew that he ought to be. There was nothing around him except for a thick blanket of white as far as the eye could see.

“Hello?” he shouted.

His words echoed back at him without a solid response. He tried again, this time cupping his hands around his mouth to amplify the sound.

“Hello Jordan,” said a smooth and familiar voice from behind him.

Jordan whipped around to find Noah looming over him. He too was shirtless with a long woolen blanket wrapped around his waist. They were no longer out in the endless sea of snow, but in Noah’s upstairs bedroom, which Jordan had never actually been inside. He’d only ever seen the room in passing. Being in here with Noah felt somewhat strange, but also wildly exciting and new. Jordan took a step closer.

“Hey,” he said softly, unable to take his eyes off the other man’s abs.

“Hey,” Noah said right back. Suddenly the two of them were standing only inches away. Jordan could feel the heat radiating off Noah’s skin. Noah took a long hard swallow, making his Adam’s apple bob. Jordan felt a swooping sensation in his lower belly and sucked on his lower lip.

Then, in the space between seconds, Noah reached out and ran smooth fingertips over the expanse of Jordan’s belly. Jordan shivered as goosebumps welled and his nipples hardened. Noah made a possessive sound in the back of his throat as his thumb began tracing Jordan’s miraculously healed rib cage. Jordan craned his neck and exhaled softly, longing for more.

And just like that, Noah’s lips were on him. Firm and demanding and unapologetic. Jordan stiffened momentarily and then melted into the kiss. He tasted like peppermint and chocolate and smelled like expensive musk. The warmth pooling in Jordan’s abdomen was growing and expanding, moving its way ever lower until his pants became far too much of a nuisance. Just as he was wishing they weren’t there, they disappeared. His erection sprung free and rubbed against Noah’s in a way that made Jordan tremble.

Noah somehow managed to drag Jordan onto his bed without breaking the kiss, and once there, he settled in between Jordan’s legs like he belonged there.

“Fuck,” Jordan whispered as Noah took him into his mouth. Noah hummed his approval against his cock in a way that made Jordan’s head loll back. He gripped the sheets tightly in his fists and heaved in short staccato breaths. All the while Noah’s tongue was flicking back and forth.

Jordan tried to hold out as long as he could, but that was a battle of wills he was destined to lose. When Noah hollowed his cheeks and scraped his teeth just so, he lost it. Trills of pleasure cascaded through his body and because this was a dream and not real life, the second he came, he was desperate for more.

He pushed Noah into the sheets and licked a stripe up his inner thigh. Noah whimpered and ran his hands along his nipples.

"You want to fuck me, Jordan?" he asked, his voice low and throaty. He bucked up against him to emphasize the point.

“Yes,” Jordan hissed, too turned on to be embarrassed.

Next thing he knew, Noah was bent over on all fours in front of him, begging to be filled, and Jordan was more than happy to oblige. For several minutes, the only sound in the room was their harsh breathing and soft creaking of the mattress.

When they were done, they lay side by side in the bed, holding hands.

“Merry Christmas Jordan,” Noah was saying in his sexy post-fuck rasp.

Jordan pushed himself up onto his elbows and turned to his lover, intent on asking if he was ready to go again, but there was a cold glassy film over Noah’s eyes now, making him look like an animatronic doll. He opened his mouth slowly, as if it was on a hinge and uttered just one word.

“Jordan.”
