Logan's Loves: Men of Crooked Bend Book 8 by Taylor Rylan (9)

Rhett — 8

I got to thinking about what Logan had been saying, and he was right. We’d had sex just about everywhere, and he’d even pulled my pants down on the island in front of Boone once, simply to get him to leave. Why was I so worried about our parents hearing us having sex? And really, with us in the bathroom, they most likely wouldn’t. Unless the floors were thin, which I didn’t think so since the tub got so heavy.

Which is why I gripped the edge of the tub and presented my ass. I needed to feel Logan inside of me because honestly, who knew when we’d get a chance again—or have the energy if today was any indication.

“Sweetheart, this isn’t the best position, so I’m not sure how well it’ll work.”

“Fine,” I said as I quickly climbed out and got on all fours on the oversized rug in front of the tub. When I looked over my shoulder at my stunned husband, I gave my ass a quick shake, which seemed to do the trick. He scrambled out of the tub, and then his mouth was on me.

Logan curled over my back and gave the nape of my neck and shoulders gentle kisses before he ran his nose and lips down my spine. I moaned quietly before I dropped my head to the rug. Logan didn’t disappoint because his lips quickly found my cheeks, and then I felt his warm, wet tongue on my hole.

“Logan, you know I don’t last long when you do that.”

“I know, but you also know I won’t hurt you. You’re going to be good and ready before I enter you.”

“Fuck. I can’t wait that long,” I said before I pulled away and rolled over. I turned around and scooted up so I was under Logan, and I tried my best to give his thighs a tug, but he wasn’t budging.

“Sweetheart, what are you doing?”

“Change of plans. It’s blowjobs. I need you,” I said with somewhat of a whine. Logan chuckled before he lay down beside me on the rug. He rolled toward me, and I felt his warm mouth around my dick before I could even get my hand around his.

“Ahh…yeah, just like that,” I said as I laid my head down on my arm. Logan’s subtle thrust of his hips reminded me I was supposed to be returning the favor, so I grabbed his leaking cock and after I pulled the foreskin back, I swallowed down as much as I could.

The quiet sounds of slurping and muffled moans could be heard in the bathroom, and all too soon, I felt the familiar tingle in my balls that signaled I was getting close. I moaned loudly, letting Logan know, but when he stuck a wet finger in my hole, I was done and I flooded his mouth with my release.

I groaned around his cock but was cut off when his dick swelled, and then he too was coming. Once I’d stroked every drop I could out of him, I all but collapsed on the rug, Logan’s rapidly softening cock lying on his hip.

“Feel better?”

“Do you really have to ask?”

“No, because I know I sure as fuck do. I needed that. Come on, I don’t want you catching cold. Either we get back into the tub for a bit, or we dry the rest of the way off and climb into bed.”

“I vote bed. I’m tingly and relaxed now, and I want to snuggle under the covers.”

Logan grunted before he was gone, taking his body heat with him. It was apparent then that it was chilly in the bathroom, and I was still damp, as was the rug I was lying on. I sat up and caught the towel Logan tossed at me. Since I was already on the floor, I didn’t see a reason to get up to dry off my legs, so I set about doing that. Once they were dry, I got up and quickly dried off the rest of my chilled skin.

“Let’s get you dressed and into bed. I’m sure a nap will be good before our parents leave later and we’re on our own with the twins.”

Thinking about the fact that we were now parents and we’d just snuck off into the bathroom to have alone time while our parents were left with our twins made me feel guilty. I quickly hid my face in my towel, pretending to wipe it off, but I wasn’t quick enough.

“What’s wrong? You look upset.”

“Nothing. Just realizing how relaxed I am and why. Don’t you feel odd with what we just did?”

“Why would I? Sweetheart, we’re parents now, not monks. How do you think first-time parents end up with more kids?”

I sighed before I walked over and buried my face in Logan’s chest. I traced the tattoo he’d had placed over his pec with my eyes and then my finger. It was an infinity symbol with dates on it: the day he met me, the day they’d rescued me, the first time we’d made love, and our wedding date. I’d cried when he showed it to me.

“Okay. You have a valid point. I don’t know why I feel so guilty, but I do.”

“All right. We’ll work on that. And if it really bothers you, we’ll not do this again. I never want you to feel guilty for being with me,” Logan said as he ran his fingers though my hair. The despair in his voice broke my heart, and I knew I needed to clarify my issue.

“Logan, I don’t have any problems giving you a blowjob. Please don’t ever think I do. I only feel guilty because we have two-day-old twins and we’re already sneaking off. We should be downstairs, taking care of Ash and Abi.”

Logan handed me my shirt and sweats before he turned to pick up his own. “Maybe. But we also have grandparents that want to help. And cousins, and uncles. And when she gets here, their one and only aunt.”

“I see your reasoning. And I agree with it. I’m just waiting for my brain to catch up and join the party.”

“It’ll get there. I do understand, but I just don’t think you should feel guilty. We’ve done nothing wrong.”

“You’re right,” I told him as I pulled my pants up. Logan was already dressed and seemed more than ready to climb into bed. After he stopped at the tub and opened the drain, we left the bathroom and climbed into our king-sized bed. I’d really missed it while we were in the hospital with the twins. Once Logan was spooned up behind me, I quickly drifted back to sleep.

We were woken up several hours later by a quiet knock on the door. I was just starting to sit up when Dad poked his head in.

“Sorry, I wasn’t sure you’d hear the knock. I was torn. I didn’t want to beat on the door, but supper is ready and you’ve got a small party downstairs.”

“Shit, really? Fuck,” I said as I scrambled out of bed and almost fell flat on my face.

“Well, you have the newest babies and your brothers have all stayed away and they wanted to come and say hi and meet their niece and nephew. Kaitlyn said Chloe and Phoebe are pissed because they had to stay with Jacob and Isaac.”

Logan laughed and flopped back on the bed, rubbing his face. “Thanks, James. We’ll be right down. I need to put on jeans instead of sweats, but we’ll be right there,” Logan said as he climbed out of bed. Dad nodded before he was gone, gently closing the door behind him.

“Really? You’re okay with everyone here?”

“Yes, I am. They’re our family, Rhett. They want to help, say hi. I’d imagine they’re just as excited as we are.” Logan walked to the dresser, and after changing from sweats to jeans, he sat down and pulled on socks and his boots. “Please put on socks at least. The floors can get chilly, you know.”

I looked down at my feet and realized I was still rooted in the same place beside the bed. I didn’t care if anyone saw me in sweats, but I agreed, I needed socks. And shoes.

“I just want quiet, Logan. I want to do this, but everyone is acting like we can’t handle being new parents and they need to take over and tell us what to do.”

“We’ll get through tonight, let everyone meet the twins, and then we’ll say something to them, all right?” Logan said as he massaged my shoulders. I nodded and then pulled away. I was trying; I was doing better, but it hurt when everyone thought we couldn’t do something.

Once we’d gone to the bathroom and I’d pulled on socks and sneakers, we were off. I heard the noise of the family as soon as we got to the top of the stairs. Dad was right—it was a small party, and I was worried.

After descending the stairs, we followed the noise and found almost everyone in the living room. Sean was holding Ash and looked like he wanted to cry. It was in that moment that I realized that it was okay to have family around. They would only be here for small stretches, but they did indeed want to see our little ones.

“There they are. You don’t look like parents to newborn twins,” Boone said with a huge smile on his face.

“How so?” Logan asked with an equally big smile.

“No dark circles under your eyes, no mismatched clothing. Although, your hair is sticking up, so either it’s sex hair or you were sleeping,” Boone volleyed back.

“Actually—” I pinched Logan’s ass without anyone noticing, and he smiled at his brother and then me before looking back at the room and finishing his response. “We’re lucky. The grandparents sent us upstairs, and we enjoyed a nice long nap. So there’s your answer.”

“Darn. You used to have all of us worried about coming over because we never knew when or where you’d be having sex. Now that you have kids, you’ve joined the ranks of boring parents,” Boone joked. Although, Kait’s cheeks turned bright red, so I knew maybe there was some truth to it, and I felt bad for her. She and I had become quite close.

“Speak for yourself. We’re not boring. Never will be. Besides, you of all people should know that I’ll have sex with my husband anywhere, so what makes you think that I didn’t give Logan a blowjob in the hospital?”

That shut my brother-in-law up, and I winked at Kait, who smiled and rolled her eyes. Yeah, Boone, I loved him, but he was probably going to get the cold shoulder tonight for the “boring” comment.

I walked over to Sean and peeked at a sleeping Ash. “Where’s Abi?”

“Yeah, about that. Graham might not like you anymore,” Simon told me. I was worried until I searched the room and found Abi nestled in Ty’s arms. Jasper and Liam were sitting beside him, and Graham was glaring at his husband.

“Is something wrong?” I asked, a little concerned.

“Not really. But you know how Graham and Ty have Cujo now, right?” Simon asked.

“Yeah.”

“Well, that’s because Graham has a difficult time telling Ty no. Well, what do you think Ty wants now?” Sean said, looking at me with a smile on his face. “Not that I blame him. But I’m lucky enough that my husband is all for having kids.”

I gasped and my eyes flew back to Ty, who was still smiling at Abi. When I met Graham’s eyes, he winked at me before he went back to pretending to glare at his husband. I couldn’t help it—I laughed. I walked away from Sean, Simon, and Ash before I woke the baby up. I went straight to Logan and buried my face in his chest and laughed my ass off. Damn, I really needed that because once I started, I didn’t stop.

“Okay, everyone. Dinner is ready and it’s buffet-style, so put the babies in the bassinette and then come grab a plate,” Papa said behind me. I turned in Logan’s arms and gave Papa a big smile. “You two look better. It’s good to see a happy smile on your face, Rhett.”

“Thanks, Papa. I think maybe I’ve just been so stressed for the past few weeks leading up to all of this. That last little nap really seemed to do the trick.”

“Good. It was supposed to. Taylor and I will only be here for a few more days before we have to go back to California. We won’t be gone long, but there’s paperwork we have to take care of in person, and we need to schedule the movers for some furniture that we want to bring here,” Dad said when he walked up to us. I nodded and walked between him and Logan into the kitchen.

“We understand. But please, don’t feel you two have to be here helping. Logan and I will figure things out.”

“We know you will. We don’t feel obligated. We want to be here, Rhett. Joe and Fiona are staying longer, and they’ll be around if and when you need them after we leave. Please don’t feel bad if you call them so you can take a nap,” Papa said.

I took the plate Logan was holding out to me and then followed everyone else as they loaded their plates with lasagna, salad, and garlic bread. Just what I needed, even if I didn’t know it.

“Don’t feel bad, Rhett. We’ll have plenty of time with the girls as well. There’s two of us and only four grandbabies. That means we each can take two if needed,” Fiona told me before she gave me a big hug. I did my best to return the hug with one arm. I didn’t want to drop my food because I’d realized I was quite hungry.

“Fi, let the boy go. He needs to eat,” Joe said. He threw me a wink before he tugged on his wife’s waist to get her to release me. When she started to protest, he stopped it with a kiss. I turned and looked at the rest of the family that was there, and it made my heart happy. Only a few were missing from the entire family being here, but I knew we’d have many get-togethers in the near future.
