Lust & Trust: She thought he was worth the risk... Her friends didn't. by Amanda Cain (9)

Chapter 9

Ryan

"I promise not to make a habit out of this, especially after what you just did for me, but right now I need to be in you, to feel you." I took off her clothes. Removing my boxers, I entered her as deep as I could. I held her hands above her head and took her, hard and fast. I didn't care if she came. I'd make it up to her. I needed her, to engulf her, be in her, be a part of her. Claim her.

When I woke up, the sun was shining in the windows, and we were tangled up together, holding each other.

Lying there, watching Em, I was relaxed and content. One day at a time, I reminded myself.

She stretched. "Morning," she said, her eyes only half open. "Coffee. I need coffee."

I pulled her back down as she was getting out of bed and held her close to me. "I'll be there in a minute. Mind if I shower?"

"No, go ahead. I'll make coffee and take a quick run."

Emma seemed a little nervous. I assumed she was afraid I would bolt while she was gone. I held her tight to me to reassure her. "Don't worry, I promise this will not be a repeat of last time. We are spending the day together. In fact, I think we should spend the evening in Boulder. We could hike some trails."

Emma's face lit up. Her hair was a mess, she wasn't wearing any makeup, and I swear I had never seen anyone so beautiful.

Em and Sierra left for a run. I made a few calls to set things up for our trip. Then I made a call home to check on my daughter, who sounded like she was doing much better.

"Your mom taking care of you?"

"Yeah, Dad, it's all good."

"Melissa?" I pressed.

"Stop worrying. Everything's cool."

"I'll be back soon. I want you to stay with me for a week when I return."

"That would be great. Do you think Mom will let me?" She lowered her voice to a whisper.

"I'll handle your mother. Don't worry. See you soon. Love you."

"Love you too, Daddy."

Emma came back from her run, cheeks all red and looking absolutely fuckable.

"If you are going to walk around shirtless all weekend, it will be hard to leave the hotel,” she said.

"Oh, it will be hard alright." I walked toward her, my dick starting to rise. I tended to lose interest in most women after a few days, but with Em I couldn't even go a few hours without wanting her.

She ran to the bathroom, giggling. "Don't even think about it! I need a shower."

I was trying to do a little work on my laptop when she came into the kitchen wearing nothing but a towel. "Just getting a cup of coffee."

"Oh hell no." I walked toward her. “I know I said I wouldn’t make a habit of this, but I’ll make it up to you in Boulder,” I promised. Her towel fell off as I carried her to the bedroom. That was all it took. I was lost deep inside her seconds after laying her naked on the bed.

After I came, I felt guilty for not taking the time to please her first, until I saw her expression. She was staring at me in a way that unnerved me. Everything about her, her very essence echoed that she needed me in her as much as I needed to be in her. I loved that look.

"Damn," I said as I continued to stare into the warmth of her endless blue eyes. She groaned as I pulled out, clamping down on me, her pussy begging me not to leave.

I pushed her hair out of her face, "Soon, baby, I promise."

Smiling contentedly, she kissed my cheek and stretched as she got up and went into the bathroom to finish drying her hair.

"Throw some clothes in a bag, including your swimsuit," I said through the door when the hairdryer stopped.

Waiting for Em, I looked around the living room. The furniture was light. The room itself was small but had a cozy, inviting feel to it. Just like her.

The backyard had a large trellis with a string of lights around it. There were a couple metal benches for sitting and an old-timey porch swing. I laughed when I saw hummingbird feeders scattered about. I counted five, including the one she bought when we met in Estes Park.

"There are some inexpensive cabins in Boulder that will allow pets," I heard her yell from the other room. "I hope you don't mind bringing Sierra. She would never forgive me if I went without her. I'll make some phone calls and get us in somewhere for the night," she offered, walking into the living room.

"No need. I booked us a place when you went for a run. Any chance you can call out on Monday?"

"Should be okay. I don't think there is anything major happening at work," she said. "The hotel you booked, will they allow Sierra?"

"It's more of a cabin than a hotel. I had checked first. Bringing Sierra won't be a problem."

She gathered a few things together for Sierra, and the three of us piled into the truck. I felt like a family. Like I had known Em for way longer than I had. Then my mind drifted back to reality. If Em and I ended up really caring for each other, what would I do about Lindsey? My face must have shown my concern.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing, why?"

"You seemed pensive, like you were somewhere else."

"No, babe, I'm here, completely here. I'm yours, you're mine, and the next two days belong to us." I leaned over and kissed her to reassure her.
